THE DETECTIVE CLUB

Overview

Gotham Academy’s Detective Club is an unofficial club created by high school students Maps Mizoguchi, Kyle Mizoguchi, Olive Silverlock, Colton Rivera, and Pomeline Fritch. The club’s main purpose is to uncover mysteries surrounding Gotham Academy, and to respond to superhuman events that occur on campus. Though heavily discouraged by school authorities due to its unsafe activities, the Detective Club continues to operate through various unofficial meeting spots, where they socialize and discuss current rumours before forming plans to confront such rumours.

GOTHAM ACADEMY

NANNY SYSTEM & ROOMING

The Nanny System exists to help ease a new student’s transition into Gotham Academy. All new students will be assigned a “nanny”, a returning student that will guide their assigned student through school life within the academy. The new student and the nanny are assigned the same dorm room, and it is heavily encouraged that they stay together, though to students assigned nanny duty this is considered a nuisance in most circumstances. Quite controversially, any punishment the nanny’s student endures will be distributed towards the nanny as well. Rooms are not co-ed; girl and boy dormitories are placed on opposite ends of Gotham Academy.

- Cassidy Rivera is the nanny to Liam Vance
- Valerie Gordon is the nanny to Seon-Hui Eden Mun

- The Wayne Foundation is a known and vocal supporter of Gotham Academy. Billionaire Bruce Wayne personally offers full scholarships to the prestigious school to Gotham’s brightest.
