“Marry me?”
The question comes on a chilly Tuesday afternoon, in a bar that he’ll never forget the name of now, in the middle of Illinois - no, wait...that was last week, this is Utah - not that it really matters where they are. Clint is so taken off guard that he says nothing at first, and Natasha - bless her - takes that as her opportunity to explain.
There are issues with her visas and they’re going to expire.
If she wants to continue working for SHIELD she has to find a way to stay.
More than she wants to stay, she has to, because if she goes back now they’ll kill her.
So she asks again, “Marry me?”
And Clint says yes...because how in the hell was he ever supposed to say no to her?

Come write it with me?
