To start us off, this is a medieval style roleplay. The latest technology for Relandra are bayonets and pistols. This roleplay will be mainly focused in the struggles of the palace, including guards, servants, and most of all, the royal children, as they fight to survive the wraith of the new cold king, in fact, only the royal palace, so if fighting dragons and saving the world is your cup of tea, this probably isn't for you. Although fighting will not be excluded from this, there will definitely be some action.
This is is a group roleplay, a large one at that, but not overly large. I've seen too many roleplays die because of this. This is my most important rule of this roleplay:
You must post at least once EVERY DAY. If you have a busy schedule, and you can't get on every day, then please don't join. If I find someone holding up the roleplay, we will simply just leave you character be. If you think you'll be busy, please tell me ahead of time, and make it so you character isn't interacting with others if you decide to leave.
I need dedicated role players for this. If you decide to take a role as one of the royal children, you need to be dedicated, if you leave, I will kill you're character off. But know what you're signing up for if you decide to pick a royal. All RPN rules apply. I don't care if you swear, just not every sentence...please? At least one paragraph per post. No one liners. I intended for this to be a fast paced roleplay, but we'll see how it goes. There will be time skips. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. First come first serve, and yes, you may reserve roles. Any royal roles untaken, will be an NPC. Slots need to be reserved by May 23rd. CS's will need to be made by May 23rd as well.

Overview
Relandra has never been the most liked Kingdom out of the five kingdoms. We aren't the most advanced like Dwalip, who is in the process of making working railroads, or have the richest soils like Howan, which produce the most savory of all foods, we definitely aren't the wealthiest of the kingdoms, such as Crelakor, which has always been distant from the rest of the kingdoms, alone with their riches of jewels and gold. And then of course, there's Travia, the poorest kindom, left alone and left to rot by the other kingdoms.
Relandra is the largest kingdom of all five. We are the happiest, and most lively. The King takes care of his people, he's kind, formal, and listens to the people's needs, the royal family is loved by all. Everything was good, we were at peace with the other Kingdoms, except for Crelakor, who continued to ignore the rest of the kingdoms.
Eventually, the kingdoms began to grow anxious. Although Crelakor had always been cold, and hardly responsive, the kingdom was unusually silent.
Then we suddenly stopped hearing from Howan. We sent scouts, along with the other kingdoms, but nobody returned. Dwalip, Travia and us, Relandra, turned against each other, suspicious that the other kingdoms had something to do with it. Then Dwalip disappeared too, silent, then Travia was gone.
Our army was larger then then all four armies combined, we were strong, prepared for anything, but we were anxious, and worried, the rest of the kingdoms were silent and we had no knowledge of why.
We we thought we could win. We thought we were ready.
We were wrong.
Quick. Silent. Everything happened in a blur. They struck at night. They didn't aim for the civilians, but they killed anyone who got in there way. It was Crelakor. They had been behind it the entire time, now we saw how. Led by King Soris, Crelakor's King. He was in the front lines himself, the most powerful of them all. He had what nobody else had. What used to exist, but didn't any longer. So we thought.
Magic.
It was horrifying, thorns sprouted from the earth, entangling and trapping those trying to escape or fight back, trapping people in mirrors, only to freeze to death hours later, never to be released, and anyone else in Soris's way suffered more fates. Nobody could flee, the entire kingdom trapped in a magic barrier. He didn't care about the civilians. He walked right into the palace, killing the King, and Queen, while their twelve children watched, helpless to do anything.
Then Soris takes the throne of Relandra. Everything changes. Now he rules the entire land, combining all five kingdoms together. He's cold, and unforgiving, everyone lives in fear, He kills anyone to stand against him, making them public executions, and forcing everyone to watch, making sure to make a public display of it, or his guards would drag them into the palace for Soris to see himself, never coming out again. Staying in the palace of Relandra, the twelve royal siblings are forced to live in the same household with their parents killer, while he is cold, cruel and unforgiving. Forced to stand by him while he made public executions, and announces himself king. It isn't just the royal siblings, it's the palace servants and guards, and everyone must tread carefully as they figure out a way to survive and end Soris once and for all.
But with a powerful army, and magic at his disposal, even the most uncommon people most work together to stop Soris. But walk in the shadows, Soris has eyes everywhere and ears in the wall and you must walk a fine line between life and death to survive. Is it possible? Or will Soris continue his cruel and unjustly reign?
