W.I.P

Name: Bryce V of (whatever the Summer kingdom's name is)

Species: Human, with traces of elven blood

Age: 23

Court of Birth: Summer
Current Court Allegiance: Summer

Place of Residence: Summer Royal Palace

Gender:Male

Sexuality: Straight

Occupation: Prince

Magical Abilities: He has...strange abilities. When he was a child, two halves of some being chose to reside inside him. These two sides have not revealed their names, but they're complete opposites, with one side representing complete and utter hatred and destruction, while the other represents unflinching justice and order. They don't work with Bryce, instead vying for complete dominance over him. They each have different abilities, with the negative side having attacks and abilities revolving around darkness and negative energy, which not only rots the body, but actually harms the soul, theoretically being able to kill a god. The other half has abilities themed around positive energy, like blinding rays of light, or radiant energy capable of killing any unholy creature, from vampires to demons. He can safely use some of their abilities without losing control, but overuse of them could cause him to lose control.
Appearance
(realistic/description advised)
375px-Zippo514_Ygrittes_death.jpg
He's very tall, at about 6'3, and has grey eyes and black hair.

History

Loyalties: To his family, and to his fiancée (anybody who wants to play her, feel free to PM me.)

Enemies: Not many. Doesn't really hate anyone.

Family: His father, the king, his mother, a Half-Elven maidservant, and his fiancée

Strengths: He has an overall strong moral compass, despite being split down the middle with the two parts inside him. He's very good at putting himself in the place as others, and is an expert strategist. He is also an exceptional swordsman, though he isn't really a warrior. In fact, he despises violence, and seeks to solve problems through diplomacy and reasoning.

Skills:

  • The exceptional sword training by one of his father's top generals
  • Extremely high intellect and empathy
  • A skilled Diplomat
  • A pacifist at heart
Weaknesses:
  • He is not a warrior, and more skilled and determined fighters can easily overwhelm him
  • The two halves are constantly fighting, and he barely controls them
  • He can easily be exploited if you threaten his family
Likes:
  • Reading
  • Literature
  • Peace and quiet
  • Pastries
Dislikes:
  • Violence
  • Extremely bright or dark places (it freaks one side out and delights the other, so he hates it.)
  • Bees
Religion:
(I'll put down whatever the primary religion is.)

Name: Varakos Vidask, Emperor of the Winter Court (Formerly Rudolf von Vidask before coronation; renamed after the Varakos divine energy worshiped in the Winter religion upon taking the throne, in accordance with ancient Winter tradition and custom; still answers to and thinks of himself as Rudolf in private and with trusted family and friends. Always Emperor Varakos in public, and with those he doesn't know or trust.)

Species: Human

Age: 47

Court of Birth: Winter Court

Current Court Allegiance: Winter

Place of Residence:
Vidask Castle

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Occupation: Emperor of the Winter Realms.

Magical Abilities: One of the strongest practitioners of Kor, the native Winter Magic, currently alive.

Appearance:
latest

About 6'4”.

History: Rudolf von Vidask was born the sixth son of the former Winter Empress Varakos's brother; as such, though he is related to the ruling dynasty, his blood was distant enough from the former ruler that his name never came up in any talks of inheritance. Indeed, the former Empress's own two children were bred from birth to inherit the throne from their mother, given the best education possible in military matters, politics, religion, history, mathematics, culture, and any other topic a future ruler might require. Rudolf received none of this; he had several older siblings and did not expect even to inherit the guardianship of his own branch house, let alone the throne of the entire Winter Empire. Instead, he focused from a young age on what he loved best: war.

At age 14, he became a squire to one of the most well-renowned and feared knights in all of Solus, the aged general responsible for waging war in the Midlands to claim as much territory from the Summer savages as possible for the motherland. He learned much of battle and war from the old general. It was from him that Rudolf was also introduced to the magic of Kor and taught how to channel the magical energies that were the Winter peoples' rightful inheritance from the ancient divine. Rudolf trained ceaselessly by day to develop his martial skill and fighting prowess and meditated until the latest hours of the night to become one with the ancient primordial energies of Varakos and master his magical potential. At 18, his mentor formally knighted the boy.. He continued to serve with his master as his bloody right hand until the old man died in a particularly heated skirmish with Summer forces near the Libavrekk Mountain Range. At age 20, Rudolf assumed supreme command of the Winter armies in his deceased mentor's place. A master of both war and magic, Rudolf's name came to be as known and feared among his enemies as his master's had been back in his day, if not moreso. Indeed, it is often said that many of the victories secured by the winter armies in this period of time were nearly single-handedly achieved by the cunning tactics and merciless, brutal efficiency of one man: Rudolf von Vidask. He was said to be like Varakos's divine judgement wrought in human form, a fiery manifestation of Winter's wrath upon the soft, green weaklings serving as the Summer fodder for Winter to gorge itself upon.

Rudolf's domination of the fields of battle continued unabated for five long years until Empress Varakos's health took a turn for the worst. Upon her death bed, the old Empress was expected by all to name her younger son or elder daughter to the throne in her place. It is well known that inheritance in the Winter kingdoms is not necessarily tied to one's own brood. Though it is common for the ruler to name the eldest of his or her own direct family simply to keep their own line dominant, it is not an obligation. This fact did not stem Solus's shock when the Empress named her chosen successor before passing from this world.

Rudolf von Vidask.

To this day, no one knows why the Empress named Rudolf as her successor, least of all Rudolf himself. He had never so much as spoken with the Empress outside of occasional missives from the battlefield or official court functions at which his attendance was required as the Winter army's general. Had her illness given her over to a sudden fit of madness? Had she, for some reason, found her own children, taught from birth to take her place, somehow lacking despite their extensive educations? Was it some last minute revelation from Varakos, the divine magical life force that gave Winter its magic and from which its rulers took their name? Some even suspected treachery at play; perhaps, it is whispered among the common people when the nobility isn't looking, Rudolf's father, the Empress's brother, had blackmailed her somehow, forced her to name one of his children to the throne instead of her own. The man had long been known as a skilled politician and a shameless schemer, one who always found a way to get what he wanted by applying the right pressure, so it certainly wasn't outside the realm of possibility.

Unfortunately, it will remain forever a mystery, the answer to which lies with the Empress in her grave.

For Rudolf's part, he suddenly found himself, in his 25th year, torn from the fields of battle and armies of loyal soldiers he had come to know and love so well and thrust instead into the intrigues and politics of high Winter society. He was even stripped of his former identity, forced to take the name Varakos to herald the start of a new life as an Emperor and the death of his old life as a soldier.

Despite the oddity of his rise to power, Rudolf has reigned successfully for 22 years through the respect he garnered as a warrior and a mage on the battlefield as well as the force of his own powerful personality. He is not as well loved as his predecessor, nor as skilled at navigating politics as she was, but he nevertheless rules his people wisely and justly as the current Varakos Vidask, Emperor of the Winter Realm and rightful ruler of the entire world.

Loyalties: The Winter People; The Winter Nobility; His family, the Vidask dynasty, whether they accept him or not.

Enemies: -The Summer Court and their people (It's nothing personal, though he does think them savages and animals--albeit clever and modestly powerful ones--as most of his countrymen do. They're simply enemy combatants in a prolonged state of war.)

-The former Empress's children and their growing faction in the Winter Court. Rudolf does not see them as enemies, but they feel cheated out of their throne and view him as their enemy. They do not openly defy him, as he is still technically their god, but they work behind the scenes to undermine him and hope to one day take back what they feel Rudolf stole from them. Rudolf is aware of the threat and suffers their machinations as he feels necessary, unwilling to raise a hand to his own family, but they constantly test his patience and he might not be willing to put up with them forever.

-Anyone who defies him, openly or otherwise. Rudolf loathes defiance. He deals with his detractors swiftly and without mercy. This breeds enemies of all stripes all across Solus, many of whom he does not even know. His enemies are many and varied.

Family:

-The Vidask family branches. Most notably, his cousins, the son and daughter of the former Empress. (These characters have been given little characterization beyond what I need to tell Rudolf's story on purpose; other people can feel free to co-opt them and develop them into RPable characters of their own if they wish to do so.)

-He has no significant other. Despite his advancing age, he is still the most eligible bachelor on Solus. Whoever marries him will gain endless prestige and power as the spouse of the Winter Emperor. The suitors are endless, but Rudolf himself shows little interest in romance.

-He does, however, have many bastards strewn throughout Solus. He likes to indulge in his baser instincts from time to time. He has ever since he was in the army. That being the case, there are bastards all across the Midlands with Vidask blood from his time in the army and all throughout the Winter Kingdoms themselves. He basically has sex with anyone he finds attractive whenever the mood takes him, whether they're highborn or low. It is usually consensual, but sometimes not, especially when he was a general and he was sacking an enemy village or fortification.

Strengths/Skills: Extremely capable fighter. Proficient with sword and lance. Excellent marksman with a bow. Extremely skilled fighting from horseback. Very familiar with operating a canon.

Expert tactician and military commander. Knows battle strategy as if he were born to it. Has great charisma and commands loyalty from the men who follow him.

Powerful Kor Mage.

Has many resources as the ruler of the Winter Realms, many of which nobody knows about except for him and his closest advisers.

Has excellent instincts and is a good judge of character.

Weaknesses: Advancing age; he cannot fight as well or for as long as he once could. This is not helped by the fact that he has led a mostly sedentary lifestyle since leaving the army and sitting the throne, giving him little opportunity to train and keep his battle prowess sharp.

Little patience for politics and underhanded scheming, which he considers petty. He engages in it only because he has to for the good of his country, but he despises it, and everyone knows it.

Few people he can truly trust with absolute certainty; when you're Emperor, everyone has an ulterior motive and no one is what they seem.

A narrow-minded view of the other kingdoms on Solus and their inhabitants; he views them as lesser beings, and this causes him not to take the threat they might present as seriously as he probably ought to. He tends to underestimate Summer, Spring, and Autumn courts, though less Summer because he has been in direct battle with them in his youth.

Likes: Battle and war, obedience, respect, being out and among the people rather than cooped up in the castle, helping his countrymen, leaving his Empire a better country than when he found it, administering justice (trials, tribunals, and especially executions), horseback riding, archery, leading strategy meetings, hunting, fishing, overseeing military cadet training, friendly sparring, a chance to train himself, learning new things, sex, a good hearty steak dinner and a nice cold mug of ale.

Dislikes: Defiance, disrespect, the word “no” (unless he's the one saying it), underhanded scheming, things not going according to plan, losing, holding court and deliberating issues and complaints of plaintiffs who come to seek the guidance of the crown (no action; boring), holding royal council meetings (even more boring), dealing with ignorant savages from other countries, eating his vegetables (he likes potatoes, though).

Religion:

Devoted follower of the Winter religion of Varakos.

magical abilities innate magic centers around shadow manipulation. They are able to teleport within shadows, become a part of them, and manipulate them into having energetic properties. Thanks to Rudolf, they also have an understanding of the practices of Kor, and utilize their techniques in terms of the centering of rage/serenity to magnify their own native magic.

bio
What is known of Grel's history starts with The (late) Empress. Upon a visit to the Kor Barracks, she found them in the surrounding mountainside slums, eating the bodies of the failed soldiers (those who die in training are discarded out into a trench dug alongside the mountain's base). No one quite knows how the exchange occurred, but she returned to the barracks with Grel in tow an ordered an arcane collar to be fitted upon them to render them in her power. It is believed that it was The Empress who bound Grel to their current human form. She then left them to be enrolled into the army to serve until she saw fit to retrieve them.

Two years before her death, she reclaimed Grel and had them brought to the castle in Vidask. Grel, along with the throne, was then given to the then Rudolf von Vidask. She described Grel as the 'dregs of the dirt' she had once found, but also the key to his survival.

Whatever Grel is, they are not regarded as human, nor as a person. Rather, they are viewed as an animal wearing a human's skin, and it is for that reason that they are so able to be enslaved. By the nobility, they are viewed as a feral animal the Emperor keeps as a pet. For enemies of the current Emperor, Grel is a current point of insult and mocking.

personality Whether it is due to their nature or due to the arcane collar fixed around their neck, Grel appears entirely submissive. Like a well trained dog, they will follow at Varakos' heels, wait on him hand and foot, endure whatever humiliation, punishment, or order Varakos gives them. It is easy to believe that if Varakos told them to walk off of a cliff, they would comply without batting an eyelash.

Their demeanor is equally subservient. Around others, particularly the nobility, they keep their head bowed, their hands clasped before or behind them, and do not make eye contact. There is a degree of variation here with servants of the castle, where they act more or less neutral to them, or ignore them entirely, albeit without noticeable malice. If the nobility chooses to treat them as a dog, be it making them run errands, mocking them, or physically assaulting them, they endure, or will run errands if the Emperor has ordered them to do so for a certain member of the nobility.

Their lack of self-preservation and self-interest often unnerves and unsettles people. They come off as more of a tool than a person, or even an animal.

Grel does not eat food typically served in the kingdom; They consume only fresh corpses. This tends to be done away from the castle to avoid disturbing the more sensitive among the nobility, or in secluded locations. It does little to help their image with the nobility.

appearance Grel has the lithe, petite body of a prepubescent child, albeit a taller, gangly one. Their skin is white with a grey-bluish hue, bordering on translucent, and despite their lifestyle is completely unscarred, smooth as baby flesh. Facially, they are uncannily doe-eyed, with watery, pale irises and permanently constricted pupils.

Their hair, which is black, is cut in a just-past-the-jaw pageboy bob. They have small, delicate hands with narrow fingers, an extremely light frame with little discernible musculature, and look thoroughly breakable. They dress in thick, heavy, dark robes and cloaks.

  • Also psychologically, his father Karolus, for not sticking around to raise him properly. The fact that Heinrich is now closer to his father than he's ever been, and yet is still so distant, adds fuel to the fire.
  • Anyone in the Spring Court. Those folks just... don't sit well with him.
Family:
  • Karolus Volfang: His father, a councilor to Emperor Vidask, and quite possibly the record holder for most bastards fathered in the Winter Court.
  • Ingrid Silasa: His mother, a seamstress, who remains unmarried to Karolus due to her recent acceptance of her lesbian sexuality.
  • Genard Volfang: His bastard brother, an Escort Soldier in the Winter Court, who aspires to become a General someday.
  • Forty-eight other bastard siblings: Heinrich doesn't even know three-quarters of them exist.
Strengths: Heinrich is a skilled, if reckless, swordsman, a crack shot with a cannon, and is fairly competent at repairing bladed weapons.
Skills: Besides fighting, Heinrich can play the lute well, drink anyone under the table, and perform nifty tricks with the smoke from his pipe. Due to these admirable qualities, making friends in any barracks or tavern is easy for him. He also has a keen eye for politics, and can discern people's motivations fairly accurately. (But just because he's good at it doesn't mean he likes doing it. He wants to make that abundantly clear.)
Weaknesses: Heinrich cannot use bows or spears to save his life. His sword-fighting style eschews defense in favor of attack; this can leave him vulnerable. He can also be easily distracted by anything, especially a nice rack.
Likes:
  • Swordsmanship
  • Crude, crass jokes
  • Strong brewed beer
  • "Tits!"
Dislikes:
  • Genard Volfang
  • Weak brewed beer
  • Wenches that aren't hella t h i c c
Religion: "Who needs it?"

CLAN MUDSPRAY

The weak shouldn't have nice things.
Mudspray Proverb
Sunset Canyon is a swathe of territory largely out of sight and out of mind of the Seasonal Courts. The distant happenings of the ungoverned canyon folk seldom rise to the level of geopolitical concern. In contrast the humble (and in some cases not so humble) canyon settlers are consumed with local conflicts and powers. One such power, holed up inside the western canyon end, is Castle Crag — the stronghold of the goblin Clan Mudspray.

It is a castle in name only. In reality Castle Crag is a fortified goblin city sculpted into the canyon's northern face. It has dozens of cave entrances, each one defended by an iron portcullis and a pack of clan warriors. Many of the entrance caves are connected by a maze of wood and rope scaffolding—aka catwalks. Inside the city its tunnels and caverns loop, crisscross, and stretch for miles. If one could break Castle Crag in two parts to better view its insides, its guts would look similar to an ant colony.

The goblins themselves are a predatory and remorseless people. They clawed, murdered, and threatened their way to one of the canyon's most dominant positions. So while the Seasonal Courts remain unconcerned with Clan Mudspray, the canyon folk are very much concerned. Many of them live under the Clan's thumb, and are forced to pay tribute to the their goblin overlords.

Clan Income

1. Extortion. While they claim to be mercenaries first and foremost, the bread and butter of the Mudspray's is extortion payouts. Be they framed as "protection" fees or mandatory tributes, gangs, outlaws, and work camps around Sunset Canyon pay up or bleed.

2. Mercenary Contracts. Warriors for hire, and the price depends on how many goblins are needed, location of the job, duration of the job, and how just dangerous it will likely be. The Clan never sends 100% of its forces, as some must remain to guard Castle Crag.

3. Banditry. Because the right opportunity rarely presents itself this occurs infrequently. The Clan never knowingly targets a faction under its "protection." The extortion dues, overtime, typically more than make up for the loss of a big score.

Clan Branches & Ranks
Scrappers — the meat and potatoes of the Clan's forces, scrappers are javelin and shield packing goblin foot soldiers. They are called on to charge enemy lines and hold their own. In terms of manpower, scrappers are the largest branch of Clan Mudspray.

Shooters — the Clan's archers. Each one carries a shortbow & at least one hand weapon. Shooter are the second largest Clan branch.

Swiners — the best scrappers are awarded the opportunity to join the ranks of the swiners, or warthog cavalry. Only the toughest goblins can expertly command the four hundred pound swines and earn their mounts. These are, without question, the hardest hitting branch of the Mudsprays.

Swoops — where swiners are recruited from the elite of the scrappers, Swoops are the cream of the shooters' crop. The Clan has a flock of giant vultures in its service, and a few dozen exceptional Mudsprays ride them into battle. They rain down arrows from the sky, and when necessary, dismount and take the fight to the enemy.

Sludge Shamans — clerics of the Clan. They are responsible for lore keeping, ceremonies, and mystical protection & advisory. While they are often formidable in combat, they seldom fight, as they are difficult to replace. But important battles are almost always supported by at least one shaman.

Flunkies — a catch all label that covers non-combative Clan members.

Scourge — Clan rank of captain. Every branch has a single Scourge as its commanding officer. They are as follows: Scourge of Scrappers, Scourge of Shooters, Scourge of Swine, Scourge of Swoops, and Scourge of Shamans.

OTHER CLANSFOLK

Painpanther, Chief — a former Scourge of Scrappers, Painpanther took command of the Mudsprays over six years ago. Compared against other goblins he has several remarkable attributes, but his greatest asset has been his judgement. He seems to always know when to hold the whip back and when to let it fly. His enemies fear him and his clansmen are fiercely loyal—those are the results one expects of an excellent Mudspray Chief.

Rumrum'Rowdy, Scourge of Scrappers — Born with a defect, a miniature third arm, he was nearly destroyed at birth. If not for the urgings of the Scourge of Shamans at the time, he would have been so. In the beginning he hid his mutation in shame. The Mudsprays were not a clan who tolerated frailty. But despite his shortcoming Rumrum grew strong. More importantly he grew clever. And eventually he summoned the courage to use the appendage when needed. Against all odds, and after proving himself in countless battles he earned the rank of Scourge. The goblins say the ghost of the Scourge of Shamans who spoke for him as a babe still blesses him today.

Bummblebeard, Scourge of Shooters — the oldest serving Scourge, Bumblebeard has commanded the shooters for over nine years. He is a level-headed veteran as well as a stickler for details & discipline. He makes sure every shooter trains often, with proper form, and with up to snuff equipment. The Clan's worst kept secret is that Bumblebeard doesn't want, and has never wanted, to be Chief. The pressure & responsibilities of the top spot is too much for some goblins.

Sharkscream, Scourge of Swine — one would be hard pressed to find a more ferocious goblin in the entire Clan. Whenever the swiners charge into battle on the backs of their hogs you can be sure Sharkscream will be riding at their front. He is respected/feared by nearly every Mudspray but few consider him good company. Some goblins lead by their character and poise, others by their fists and blades—Sharkscream is undeniably the latter.

Vulgarvenom, Scourge of Shamans — where shamans before her shunned non-goblin magic, even feared it, Vulgarvenom has been a lover of all things arcane. She was the first to claim that Sludge Shamans are eternal brides and grooms to the occult. She is learned. She is coy. She is both alluring and terrifying. She is the truly the Scourge of Shamans.

*just sits here in awe*

They're perfect. Cometcat is kind of beautiful and I love her ghostbow gloves - the in clan dynamics and ranks are fantastically thought out, I am honestly blown away by the thought and detail put into this, thank you so much for adding them into this RP. I cannot wait to see what shenanigans they get up to!

Adrius VI of Romas, Tsar of Summer
Human, with Elven ancestry
52
Bisexual
Born in Romas, Summer, where he presently resides
Cisgender Male

Magic: Unlike his children, who possess powers of fire and light, Adrius' magic governs over water and healing. He has the ability to move and bend water through willpower and learned movements, along with the ability to use water on a body to facilitate healing.

Personality: Perhaps the most peaceful ruler Summer has had in decades, it is thanks to Adrius that the treaty has lasted this long despite frequent disputes over territory. He views war as detrimental to the profit of his people, and to the consolidation of Summer's infrastructure. He is a calm, kind man, although certainly not a stranger to scheming. Though he is by and large a pacifist - something his enemies criticize him for as weakness - he is a master of playing in the shadows, well acquainted with the prosperous trade of mercenaries and assassins in the walls of Romas.

History: Inheriting the throne from his war-mongering father at the tender age of twenty, Adrius was a relief to a land fearing yet another outbreak of siege and battle. It is by large to him that they owe their boom in wealth in the past three decades. Not only have his abilities and his personal attendance helped with irrigating the desert lands in settlements, his shrewd business plans (aided by his council) have ensured the economy flourished. His preaching of accepting new cultures and religions has also opened them up to all possible avenues of trade.

Loyalties: Summer, his people, his family
Enemies: Natives of Dragon's Rock who oppose the Dragon Trade, Winter
Family: Bryce, Alinas, his Queen Consort, and his harem

Strengths: Calm, measured manner, courtly elegance and grace, economic and political smarts
Weaknesses: Little to no offensive magic, complacency due to continued prospering, weak to his family and loved ones being threatened - also, his wife (queen consort) despises him.

Religion: Neptus

A seven foot warrior, Graal'Karn is rather intimidating. He is heavily muscled, and his face is often covered in war paint. That, and his gleaming red eyes further add to the intimidation. He has a collection of scars along his torso and arms, both from battle and the torture he suffered at the hands of his foes.

(Along with y'know, the rest of it, including the good 'ole lore)

Faction Name

The Jaalmak Clan
Faction Leader
Elder Hrog

A cautious, paranoid elder, Hrog fears conflict. He avoids conflict with Summer and Winter so heavily that it is whispered that they pay him in bribes to keep the orcs settled. Either way, he orders no raids on either kingdom, nor anyone else. He is heavily suspiscious of treachery from those at his side, and he might just be right to be so wary.

Tribal Autocracy
The Clan has one Mrog (Orcish term for leader), chosen only by a series of Godly trials, to test the mind and body. All those who wish to be Mrog must declare themselves contestants, and take part in the trials. Only one can survive the trials, as the last is always a duel to the death between whatever contestants remain.

Whichever Orc becomes Mrog is believed to have been ordained as such by the Gods, and his word goes unquestioned by the Orcs, unless in extreme circumstances or it is believed that the Gods have lost favor with the Mrog. His word is law, and he can demand whatever he wishes of the Clan, for his word is that of the Gods' authority.

However, even the Mrog must obey Gar'Lok's Code, a loose set of laws and guidelines that define the honor of the Clan. They are as follows:
1. Do not betray
2. Do not take another's property without challenging them (Sneaking is bad)
3.

Current Court Allegiance: Summer
Place of Residence: Summer Kingdoms
Enemies: Winter, in secret Adrius VI of Romas
Family: Bryce, Alinas, Romas, Romas’s Haram.
Gender: Female.
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Occupation: Queen Consort
Magical Abilities: She posses no more magical properties than any other Kitsune. When a Kitsuin is born they have a single tail bit as they age, grow in wisdom, and power, they can gain up to nine tails. She currently has five tails. She is able to physically change her form to that of a beautiful woman, Old man, or even a little girl. While she can take other forms those are purely based off powerful illusions. Though there not just limited to her, she can create illusions of whatever she can think of. She can posses women while they are asleep. She can manifest herself in people's dreams. She is has gained the power of flight in more recent years.

Weakness:
She have a small orb called a Kitsune Star that contains her soul. A Kitsuin cannot be great distances away from it for a long period of time or they will fall ill and die. If anyone gets her hands on it she will do anything to get it back so she will be completely under there power.

One of her 5 Tails contains all of her magical powers, if it were to be cut she would become powerless, she will fall greatly ill and could even die. Though the others will grow back with time.

History: Her childhood was full mischief, she was ether in trouble or getting in trouble. She never really grew out of that, she cherished her freedom more than anything. So when she came of age and it was demanded of her to serve in the military, she ditched. She was not about to waste any of her time on fighting, she had more import things to do, like taking the messing up people's dates. Though it wasn't that easy to just not serve, because she soon found herself hunted by the military. Running form place to place, she eventually fled Winter all together. One day she finds herself in Summer. She met Romas and thought it would be fun to just mess around. That was until her Kitsuen Star went missing. She knew that Romas had taken it, how he even knew about it was beyond her. But now she had to stay either him, she had to obey him, she is trapped. She hates him for this very reason. One day she will retrieve her Star and she will make him pay. But for now she has to pay nice. After Roams was king and they got married. She put on a kind face for the public, and showed effort and enthusiasm when she had to deal with political matters. Even though she is trapped here and the confinement eats at her sanity every day. She did her best to a be an adequate mother.

Eliza has had a strange upbringing, to say the least. For starters, she's the bastard of the late Empress, one brought in to be groomed as a potential inheritor. Her mother always had an interest in 'experiments' of a kind, and she was just one of many. Orcs and the Winter court have an unpleasant past, to say the least, and most of the Winter population view Orcs as savages. Elizabeth was lucky enough to be the Empress's daughter, raised in the castle of Vidask, so she had some protection growing up, her physical advantages as an Orc positioning her as one of the top hand-to-hand and weaponary combatants of the court.

A devout follower of Varakos, when her inheritance was given away to a near stranger Eliza... struggled to come to terms with the snub. Religion taught her to venerate it as divine wisdom, but everything she had been trained for was ripped away from her by one day. Conflicted, she threw herself into warfare as a distraction, drowning out the grief of both losing her future and being seemingly betrayed by her mother on her death bed with violence and bawdy comradery.

Eventually tiring of the endless bloodshed, Eliza returned to the castle of Vidask to serve in the Vidask force as Captain, rejoining the court as nobility. Whilst her brother stews and broods and plots to somehow regain the throne, she is torn between respecting the skill of their present leader, and her loyalty to her brother.
personality Eliza is most definitively defined by her uncertainty and insecurity. She does not know where she stands - if she wants to fight for or against Varakos, if she is against violence or in love with it, if she wants to help Winter or abandon it all together. She is skilled at putting on a brave face and numbing herself out from her own thoughts through playing the clown, or through fighting.

She acts with due respect towards the Emperor, and half resents him, half admires him. Her relationship with her brother... It's... complicated.

Name: Graeme, aka "The Bronze Ghost"

Species: Half Human Half Witch

Age: 42

Court of Birth: Autumn

Current Court Allegiance: Though he does not directly work for the Autumn Court(As there really isn't one TO work for), he has dedicated himself to obtaining Vengeance for the slaughter of the his people by both the Summer and Winter Courts.

Place of Residence: He was, and always has been a nomad. A wanderer. He resides in no one place for long, often growing uncomfortable due to the lack of movement.

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Asexual. He does not care for love, only vengeance for his people.

Occupation: Mercenary, Privateer, Warrior, Avenger

Magical Abilities: Though capable of some basic magical abilities, he does not have the capability to do much beyond some basic healing and about a half dozen combat spells. However, he is able to use these spells in often surprising ways to defeat his foes.

Appearance:
802c164c-862c-4c6c-9b1f-0cad332fc8b9.jpg

History: Born to the unlikely pairing of a Witch woman and a Human mercenary born of Summer, Graeme was a surprise to his mother's tribe, though not an unwelcome one. The tribe, known as the A'Chasag, were a group of nomadic warrior mystics, skilled in many forms of magic and battle. Raised in such environs, it is no surprise that Graeme quickly grew into a capable warrior, though one with rather lacking magical powers, which disappointed his mother greatly, but never diminished her love for him. During this time, he was taught by both his father and the other members of the tribe how to fight, both through training and actual battle. Animals, monsters, other tribes, and even a few Winter and Summer soldiers, if they happened to wander into the tribes Spiritual Route. As the years would go by, they would begin to encounter more trained soldiers and fewer of their fellow tribes, until finally it was a struggle to follow their Spiritual Route without encountering soldiers of either Summer or Winter.

On the night of his eighteenth birthday, soldiers of both Summer and Winter simultaneously assaulted the A'Chasag camp, as the believed that the tribe had been stirring up trouble in the area, even though it was the entrance of the Summer and Winter soldiers that caused them to become "more aggressive". However, the two individual raids quickly devolved into an all out battle between the two forces, with the Midlanders caught in the middle. By dawns light the next morning, the A'Chasag were no more as a tribe, the only surviving members having fled to the four winds in the night. All except Graeme.

At the beginning of the battle, he was stabbed in the chest by a young Winter soldier, and was incapacitated. He had never been so badly wounded before, and so the pain seemed to freeze him in place, unable to move. He had been utterly helpless, unable to fight the soldiers, save his loved ones, move from where he knelt on the dirt, or even blink. Tears ran down his cheeks as he watched everyone he knew cut down before his eyes. Agony. Fear. Hatred. He felt these and more, and yet could do nothing. By the end of the battle, he still could not move, but had long since stopped crying. He just couldn't shed any more tears.

Eventually, the pain of his wound would fade into a scar, but the pain of his loss did not. COULD not. He kept seeing them die, over and over again in his minds eye. By the light of dawn, he had taken his fathers prized bronze gear, and left the camp ruins. He buried no one.

From then on, he would begin his self-appointed crusade against the Summer and Winter Courts, the only thing keeping him alive his desire for vengeance, and becoming known as the Bronze Ghost, a feared and hated man for both the courts, and a symbol for every Midlander who still fought against the great seasonal courts. But, he no longer desires to kill their leaders than leave their countries in peace. No, for it is not the people of the courts, but the system that they live in which caused the death of the A'Chasag. Now his final goal is to rip the systems down, and free all people who live in fear of the tyranny that is Summer and Winter.

Loyalties: Graeme holds no loyalties beyond his dead tribe, though he does hold some attachment to the other tribes and peoples of the Midlands, as they often aid him in his personal war against the two Kingdoms.

Enemies: The Summer Court, The Winter Court

Family: Sehrli(Mother, Deceased); Umha(Father, Deceased)

Strengths: Graeme has spent years on the field of battle, and has defeated hundreds of men, women, and more. If it works for either the Winter or Summer Courts, Graeme has undoubtedly fought it at least once before. Besides this, Graeme often acts as a sort of symbol for the people of Autumn, and can be the deciding force of a battle due to his inspiration to his troops.

Skills: Graeme is a skilled swordsman and foot soldier, having spent most of his life marching from place to place a fighting. With a high endurance and almost no pain receptors left in his body, he is able to fight no matter how wounded he becomes. An example of this was when he was stabbed in the eye by a Winter Soldier in the midst of battle, and still slew that man and a dozen more before the end of battle

Weaknesses: Graeme was severely traumatized by the sight of his tribe being decimated, especially with the sight of his parents being hacked to bits. Because of this, he usually gets little sleep in the night unless aided by some herbal concoction or magic. In battle, Graeme has several weaknesses due to his lightly armored footman style of combat. Cavalry, archers, and mages can all pose some difficulty, with mages being the most dangerous out of the three. On the note of his inability to feel pain anymore, this can cause many problems, such as accidental bleed out from a wound he was unaware of, or even a "Black Knight" situation, where he will continue to try and fight despite being completely unable to. Due to this fact, Graeme often has to over compensate and stay aware of what is happening to his body, or have it examined by another. And of course, he lacks a good sense of depth, what with his forced monocular nature.

Likes: Peace, Revenge, Autumn, The Midlands, his Armor, Mercenaries, Killed Winter Soldiers, Killing Summer Soldiers

Dislikes: The Winter Court, The Summer Court, Traitors

Religion: The religion of the the A'Chasag is both simple and in many ways complicated. They do not believe in an actual after life, believing that immortality is brought on through being remembered as a legend among your people. Because of this, the people of the tribe often do daring acts in order to obtain said immortality through remembrance. defeating a certain amount of enemies with leaving a scarring wound on them, making an enemy become an ally, or any other noteworthy act will usually work, as long as you were the first to do it, or did it the best. Besides this, the tribe would always follow a preordained path through their territory which is called a "Spiritual Route". This Spiritual Route is decided by many factors, the main ones being how many enemies they shall encounter, the number of heroic feats capable on said trail, and more, which is almost always decided upon the the Tribes Chief and Spiritual Head. Finally, though they do not believe that there is a true after life, they do believe that spirits are able to come back to the mortal plain and cause trouble unless abated by avenging them. They believe that spirits only come back if, in mortal life, they were murdered or killed unjustly, and always huger for revenge.

I've added details of the A'Chasag religion to the lore page and adore the detail you went into there. Graeme is going to be one hell of a character to have around, and I look forward to seeing how he plays into the agendas of everyone else in the world. As if it even needs saying, but: accepted!

Name: Kaysa the 'Little Giant', formerly Kaysa Vidask
Species: Human
Age: 19
Court of Birth: Winter
Current Court Allegiance: 'Old Winter'/ Giants
Place of Residence: Nyx Mtns
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Occupation: Queen in Exile, Ambassador
Magical Abilities: None
Appearance:
4'11" 91lbs
IMG_5685.JPG IMG_5683.JPG
History:
Kaysa was born the granddaughter of the last Winter Empress. Her son and Kaysa's father, Thorin, was groomed to be the next King until the day his inheritance was stolen from him by a no-name with a penchant for war.

After arguing in vain that his new 'God' had been chosen only through political subterfuge, Thorin gave up on diplomacy. Supporters, who he referred to as the loyalists to 'Old Winter', flocked to his banner. They answered a call to arms and marched against Vidask. It was suicide however, as Rudolf had nearly three times as many soldiers. Thorin Vidask's army was crushed. Broken by the loss, he fled with his wife and newborn to hide in the Nyx Mtns and live a secluded life. His grudge against Rudolf never died.

Kaysa was raised to be swift like the mountain rivers, and as tough as the mountain face, though she never quite reached the strength of the mountain conifers. Her parents did their best to learn her history and right from wrong, as well as how to present herself as royalty despite their ragged furs. She was trained to wield sword and shield, though not quite at the same level as an experienced soldier.

When Kaysa came of age, and Thorin had an heir...he talked of plotting once more to retake the throne. This attempt would never materialize however, Kaysa came home from a walk one evening to find the family cottage burning and the door barred. She was completely demolished, but she understood it to be her father's last will for her to avenge her family in Winter. She pulled her father's weapons from the wreckage and pledged to reclaim what should be hers.

Kaysa wandered the mountain for fifteen days without finding the way down. Struggling to catch food or make warmth in the wilderness, she nearly died in the frozen wilderness. The Giants had been watching her however, and when the tiny girl finally collapsed in the snow. They took pity and carried her back to their clan. Loss of innocent life is taboo in their culture, and they did what they could to provide for her health.

When she finally recovered from the exposure, they debated bringing her back down to the humans. After her protest to the idea of being handed to her father's enemies however, Kaysa was taken in by a female Giant, her husband, and her children. At first she was treated as nothing more then another child in need of constant supervision, afterall she was much, much smaller then even a newborn Giant...so much so that the toddler in her adopted family had to be taught she wasn't a toy. While grateful, Kaysa proved haughty at times and quick to frustration with her position.

One evening, that all changed. She was sitting on a rock next to the Giant toddler when a loud howl pierced in the silence. The eldest Giant child who was watching ran to investigate, leaving the two of them alone in the forest. As soon as he was gone, a company of Winter warriors materialized from the shadows. They were obviously slavers by the ropes they carried. Preoccupied by the helpless giant before them, they didn't even notice the human girl beside him until she stepped forward sword drawn.

"Halt men of Winter!" She cried. "I am Kaysa, daughter of Thorin, rightful heir to the throne of Vidask! This giant is protected by your rightful Queen!"

The men froze, unsure of what to make of her. Was she serious? Crazed? Delusional?

"Well, are you just going to stand their gaping?" She challenged. "Be gone!"

The leader of their group laughed, though his men did not. "Let's just take her too."

A few of his soldiers stirred though most failed to move. They remembered the tall tales of Thorin and an army on the mountain. For the first time, they began to consider they might have some truth. Was she alone? Were there more humans behind her?

Finally, a group of five men were convinced to walk towards her with their weapons at the ready. She walked towards them as well, rapidly closing the distance as she broke into a run. Putting all her power into sprinting as fast as she could, she aimed her shield into the gut of the first man, plowing him over as she swung her sword into the exposed calf of the second. The other two men grabbed her shoulders and slammed her to the ground. The last one stood over her smirking as the remaining men in the company cautiously approached the young giant.

Kaysa struggled against the weight of her three captors, kicking one in the jaw and spitting on the rest. Two of them left to go aid in the capture of the giant, leaving one man sitting on top of her. Managing to reach the hilt of her sword, she bucked him and plunged her blade through his chest with a loud shriek. The sound of thundering footsteps could be heard as the elder giant brother returned. The slavers heard this and fled the area as fast as they had arrived.

It was after this night that Kaysa earned the nickname of 'Little Giant' by standing up for an actual one. As she nursed her bruises, she found a little more respect amongst the Giants that grew the longer she lived with them. Finally seen as one of their own, Kaysa grew more humble with time. She was taught the ways of the Stone Father, and did her best to learn their language.

She remains skeptical of the search for the King Giant, believing him to be akin to the idea of a 'Varakos' which she is morally opposed too. Still, she learned to help by acting as an ambassador and agent for the Giants who are often viewed as inferior by the other races. Her knowledge of Winter often helps as well.

Kaysa remains biding her time until she feels it is right to leave the Giants and gather an army to retake Winter. She knows her position with the Giants will provide her ample opportunity to speak with other cultures and assemble a an alliance.

Loyalties:
-Herself and Her Bloodline
-Giants
-The People of Winter
-Innocents
Enemies:
-Winter's Current Government
-Summer
-Anyone with racial prejudice
Family:
-Late Empress (Grandmother- deceased)
-Thorin Vidask (Father- Deceased)
-Mother (Mother- Deceased)
-Others in Winter whom she is distantly related to, but have not met.
Strengths:
-Agile and Fast
-Flexible
-Smart and Manipulative
-Empathetic and Well-Spoken
-Beautiful
-Tough
Weaknesses:
-Small
-Weak
-Poor fighter compared to others from Winter
-Stubborn
-Proud
-Young

Religion: She believes there is a God somewhere, but that Winter abandoned his will when Rudolf became King over her father. 'Varakos' is just a lie to enslave the people. She has begun to worship the Stone Father, but she believes that all beings were molded by the same clay...that it's pressure and fire that determines who hardens stronger then others. She's split on whether or not there is an actual 'Giant King', but if there is one, she doesn't want his awakening to get in her way of rising in power.

Name: Sir Decius Sanguis of Vidask

Species: Human Vampire

Age: 29

Court of Birth: Winter

Current Court Allegiance: Winter

Place of Residence: Vidask

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Powersexual. He will lay with anyone or anything, so long as it will lead to him gaining more power.

Occupation: Knight of the Winter Court

Magical Abilities: Maybe yes, maybe no.

Appearance:
elena-bespalova-ask2-copy.jpg
History: Born into the famed Sanguis family, Decius was expected from a young age to reach great heights. Taught by only the best of teachers money could buy, Decius proved to be a highly intelligent, if rather disturbing, young man, handling advanced maths easily. Not that he cared about such things. By the time of his eighteenth, Decius had scared off almost every tutor his mother obtained for him. That is, until finally his mother decided that her child was nearly ready, and called for him. Omnis Hypocrita, a Master vampire of the Emperor's court, and a close friend and lover of Cruciatu's. He would lead the boy down a far darker path, teaching him the secrets of blood, until finally giving the boy the seed of his Dark Gift. Vampirism. The disease would wait until Decius reached his physical peak before corrupting him, as it would cause the age process and stunt his growth and strength, causing the disease's host to be far to weak.

Shortly after that, he would begin his required military service, serving as a squire under another friend of his mother's, a well known vampire knight in the Winter army called Sir Ira the Bloody. Sir Ira was a vicious creature, using both his steel and vampiric powers in the midst of battle, often stabbing men with his sword while slashing out the throats of others with his claws. It was from Ira that Decius learned the true meaning of power. Power is to control others, yes, and to be able to enforce it, also yes. But in many ways, power is control and fear. To be make those around you truly fear you, without even lifting a finger. THAT was the sort of power Decius desired, and he was, and still is, willing to do nearly anything to get it.

Loyalties: Emperor Varakos Vidask, Other members of the Winter Court, the Sanguis Family

Enemies: The Summer Court, The Autumn Court

Family: Cruciatu Sanguis(Human Vampire, Mother); Putrescat Sanguis(Human Vampire, Father, Deceased); Omnis Hypocrita(Human Vampire, Mentor); Sir Ira the Bloody(Human Vampire Knight, Mentor)

Strengths: Stronger and faster than any normal human, vampirism has allowed Decius to reach near superhuman strength and speed. Besides this, his senses have also become enhanced to near superhuman levels, allowing him to smell a drop of blood from a mile away, and other similar abilities.

Skills: Decius is a trained in all the ways of the knight, having squired under a well regarded vampire knight named Sir Ira. Because of this, he is skilled in both knightly combat, and the more animalistic forms of combat opened to him by his vampiric nature. Sword, mace, lance, claw, and fang. The use of these and more have been opened to him from his tutelage under Sir Ira.

Weaknesses: Due to his vampirism, Decius needs to feed on the blood of a sentient being at least once a week, though he has several... "donors" in his employ. Besides this, his powers are often weaker in the day, but he won't actually die unless he has not had blood for over a week. Another major weakness of his is to any light based magic. Healing magic will actually burn him, whereas many curses will restore him.

Likes: Killing, drinking blood, killing Summer Soldiers, Killing Autumn warriors, battle, Sir Ira the Bloody, His Mother

Dislikes: Summer Court, Autumn Court, The Sun, His Mother(It's Complicated)

Religion: Decius believes in a subtype of Varakos, simply called Vampiric Varakos, where it is believed that the first people of Winter were the Vampires, with all others following afterward, and believe that the Emperor is not Varakos, for only a vampire could be the true Varakos. This version is believed by almost all Vampires and members of other species who epitomize vampires(or want to become vampires). Of course, no follower of Vampiric Varakos would openly admit to believing such things, and often worship privately or with family/close friends. This variation is, of course, highly illegal in the Winter Court, and could spell any practitioner's doom if someone were to obtain solid evidence that they believed in it.

Name: Clarisse Laxei, or at least, that's what she prefers to be called. She's held onto that name for a long time, even though it's not her original name. All she'll disclose about her old name (she doesn't consider it her real name anymore) is that it meant "Clarity" in her mother's native language. It's possible she doesn't even remember it anymore, as her true age is unknown.

Species: Vampire. I'm just going to outline my normal vampire thing here, to see if it's okay. They're immortal, and heal incredibly fast (as long as they've drunk blood quite recently) but they're incredibly vulnerable to fire. Their fangs are non-retractable, and their eyes are normal colours until they're angry / hungry, when they turn blood red, with slitted pupils. They can, if they wish to, move faster than the human eye can process, but it takes a lot of strength, so they need to drink blood afterwards, the same with strength. They have no major issues with sunlight, but if their eyes are red - Their more 'primal' state - natural light can hurt their eyes. Some of them - but not all - are what is known as a "SirenSinger" and can compel humans with their voices. The parasitic infection is passed on by Vampire blood either getting into a human's cut, or being ingested by said human.

Age: It's unknown how old she truly is, and she goes all bashful when asked, but she was Turned at the tender age of twenty one.

Court of Birth: Winter.

Allegiance: ...She has no allegiance to anyone or anything, especially not a court.

Current place of residence: Summer Court, but she moves around a lot as she has an unfortunate habit of making enemies wherever she goes.

Gender: Cisgender female.

Sexuality: Pansexual, however, she has some difficulty with relationships. Clarisse can and will seduce humans for fun, and sleeps with them with no qualms, but if she actually has genuine feelings for them she's cautious and careful, because she's still hurting from an abusive relationship that ended around two years ago with her murdering her abuser so she could finally escape after centuries with him.

Occupation: She calls herself a 'mad scientist'. Everyone else just calls her mad. She's remarkably well-read, and her knowledge covers a vast range of subjects.

Magical abilities: Aforementioned speed and strength, can compel people with her voice, in a manner similar to a siren.

Appearance: Silvery blonde hair she normally has in a waterfall braid (her hair's like that, except for the colour). Her eyes are a light shade of violet, probably a result of a genetic mutation, or a supernatural creature in her human bloodline. She has unnaturally pale skin, and that, coupled with the fangs that are just about visible when she smiles, and her ever-so-slightly pointed ears are the obvious clues to her species. She's quite skinny, due to the fact that she's always forgetting to eat, or sleep, or drink blood (all with disastrous consequences). She's five foot one and hates her height with a passion.

Personality: ...Very messed up vampire. She finds it really difficult to trust people, partly because of how untrustworthy she herself is, and partly because of experiences in her past. Clarisse can be incredibly manipulative and selfish, as her only allegiance is to herself. Unlike some of the younger vampires, she has no issue with biting humans, or killing them if the need arises, however, she takes precautions not to turn anyone, as that's a responsibility that she does not want to deal with. She's insatiably curious about almost everything, hence her career choice. As mentioned before, she enjoys seducing people, and obviously a bar is the best place to do that. She can handle more alcohol than a human can, but when she gets drunk...She really goes for it. When a vampire is intoxicated, they get thirsty...In both senses of the word, regardless of whether she cares for the person she's with or not. She's quite possessive, and gets jealous easily. Clarisse also suffers from a kind of tunnel vision, which is why she's actually very weak for a vampire - If she's focused on her work, she could forget to eat/drink/sleep for days at a time.

literally all i know about your character is that they’re named Franklin and they can do a handstand, you’re going to have to put a little more work into this. and also change the format.
