Trejo jumped with a swinging blow and a loud indication of his violent intention towards Yahno. Indeed the top heavy tree tosser would easily kill the bounty hunter, if he hadn't eaten a devil fruit...
Maybe if he wasn't holding a blade close to the same size as himself...
Or if Yahno was unable to dodge. His cousin Gohan taught Yahno that fighting a man can be just as difficult as fighting a giant ape, or a bear.
Burgess would be a example of this. Standing at eleven feet with a literal log to keep Yahno from cutting him, as the big man brought the tree down. Yahno jumped upwards to defend with offense. A flying lariat with his free arm, no time to call out bomb bomb however. As a massive explosion shredded the tree to ashes and fire with Yahno jumping out from the bottom to swing his boomerang at Trejo.
The bomb bomb fruit is a powerful paramicia turning the user into a living bomb. Able to make any part of them explode, the more of your body or bodily secretions used results in a larger or bigger explosion. A finger can be devastating, a fist can be deadly, a whole arm can clear a street if it wasn't aimed into the sky.
With the weapon gone from his grasp, Trejo Burgess was left with a bloody cut down his face where Yahno forcefully gave a shave to the green haired marine.
His beard now ruined as it would never be symmetrical again. As blood dripped from his face he realised this would scar, he would need to kill this little man and then wear the mark proudly. As that beard isn't coming back for a while... Yahno flung a sliver of face meat from his weapon as he bomb punched Trejo, who simply grabbed Yahnno by the hair through the smoke, and threw him towards the ocean.
For a brief "Yahno no dieeeeeeeee!"
The tribal hunter was worried and Burgess laughed his usual way.
"TREE-HAA HAA" he followed after the dive bomber, maybe he'd land in the water. Watching a pirate drown seemed fun.
