On the Run

(I LIVE! I was out for like three days with friends and family. I meant to warn, but I forgot. But, now I'm back, after I get home, cause school loves to steal my time.)
 
At the cave sometime later,unsure of what to do, Eryn just sits for a second. He then sees Merci dart past and fly off in a hurry. "I assume she'll be back. But for now, I need to think of a plan. There are a lot of lives at stake right now." Thinking a minute, Eryn starts toward where he thinks Kreig went. "Hey, Kreig, are you here? I saw Merci head out, she didn't look too relaxed. Also, is Autumn alright?"

During the conversation at the Inn: "I believe I've seen you somewhere...A child's story or something? Or, am i mistaken...I was told that were was a sorcerer that had been changed by some harsh magic he created...but that was years ago. They couldn't be alive now. Could they?"

One may assume that from the fact he is a skeleton. He looks the inn to see what there is to see.

(That's I'm gonna try to do. Let's see if we can make a meet up point for Lithi and the group. Though, it wouldn't seem right if it were just, bam: perfect plan, you know?)
(Inn):"Wait, are you saying that you did it? You're the immortal wizard?" Eryn stops to ponder a second. "You can't be. It's just...insane. But, nothing says you aren't. The cloak for one." Eryn sits back, unsure of the skeleton's expression.

Lania sighed as Merci took off, not knowing whether to be understanding of her, or kind of annoyed considering she didn't even get to explain Mika's aversion to killing. She then glared at Karlos who she never trusted since she saw him. "Just because you made a friend of my sister doesn't mean I don't think killing you is the better option." She bluntly stated, though she knew that the far taller man would probably laugh off this threat.

She then left and headed for her temporary room in the upper caverns. When Lania stepped into the small room she was taken aback by the sound of a blade being drawn, in quick moment she unsheathed her knife catching the sword that had been swung at her in the prong of her knife's guard. She then looked up and was greeted with a young man who was wearing a carefree smile "Aw man thought I actually caught you off guard for a minute!" He simply said with a small laugh as he sheathed his shortsword. "Bro!?" was the only thing Lania could say as she looked at the swordsman with a bewildered expresion.

Meanwhile in the lower caverns Mika was just taking a minute to process what had come out of Lania's mouth before turning to Karlos and sighing. "I'm sorry that she can be so... blunt." she apologized to him bowing her head towards the older man.

(Cave): "No, not in here...Which way did he go?" Then a light clash of metal sifts through the air briefly. "What's that?" Eryn ran towards the sound. Only to find a random man and Lania holding a blade at bay. "Who are you and how did you get in here?" Then looking to Lania and drawing his sword, "Are you alright?" Eryn readies himself in case the mystery man attacks.

The skeleton is a skeleton, so he doesn't really have an expression. Old bones can't really smile.

"I am the 'immortal wizard'. Or, at least, I am one."

As he says this, he waves his skeletal hand as a swirl of arcane magic engulfs it, then fades to nothing.

Merci came to a stop in the sky as Hantu came into view. "What do you want!?!" Hantu smiled, ''Come now dear we are like sisters..." Jihn floated in the air growling at Tangu, Tangu growled back. "Hantu I don't need you to but into my business." She laughed, "Well I sensed you near by and you have been using a lot of power. Why is that?" "I don't see how that is any of your business. We have never been on good terms you are not a sister to me even if you seem to think so..." Pain from past memories crossed over her face. "oh are you still upset over that man..."

(Sorry my brain wasn't fully awake when I made this post anyways I'll post Karlos now and Autumn will wake up in a day or two!! ^_^)

Karlos glanced over to Autumn worried and then back over to Mika, ''it's fine really, I'm used to people trying to kill me and if not wanting to kill me. They should have, at least they still would have been alive..." He moved closer to Autumn, "When your master tells you to do something you have to do it you can't disobey him or her and if the kirin is killed and dies, then then the master dies along with them but if our Master is killed and we are not then we live." He moved her hair from her forehead, it showed a ring type deal there. "This is the only proof that she was a Kirin right now she's nothing more than a human."

"I can only assume that other wizards did what I did. You'd be surprised how easy it is to become immortal. I don't know any others, though. Contrary to belief not all wizards know each other."

Lithi looks off into the distance at he says that, his weird green glowing light eyesocket things focused on something. Nothing visible is there, though.

"So, is there any work around here for an old wizard? Immortality is boring, and alchemy ingredients don't pay for themselves."

(Inn):"There is a city one weeks travel from here, we'll probably be there sometime in the future. Seeing as you have magical means to travel, I presume, it wouldn't take long to get you there. Though, it may take us a day or two. They offer plenty of jobs for folks looking to afford just about anything. I would recommend finding a man by the name of Heiruld Herold. Tell him you were sent by me and he'll give you work that is specially designed to your abilities. He'll get you whatever you need, just ask, but you'll be under contract and if you break it, he'll strip you of any materials given, then you'll be promptly escorted off the premises." Eryn then takes a second to allow the immortal wizard time to think on it. "If you accept, well see you there then. Good luck out there." Eryn then promptly tries to leave but is stopped by the owner of the Inn and throws money at the owner then darts out.

"Hmm...sounds good. I believe there is a dragon burial ground (like the Skyrim ones. I don't actually know but he doesn't actually have a way to get there other than walking) near here, so I'll find you."

As he watches him leave, he also takes his leave. He doesn't need to stay in the inn. He doesn't need food or rest. He heads over to where he remembered the burial grounds being.

Kreig sat down hard on his bed, mulling over what had just transpired. The only person he had ever trusted, his childhood friend, was back from the dead. He had to find a way to bring her fully back, at least so that she could have her own body. Standing, Kreig paced back and forth, trying to think if he knew a way to bring her back. In theory, he only had to create a body. "That won't work. The body requires Life, and to do that, one must summon the twin gods of Life and Death." Kreig was taken by surprise, and almost fell to the floor. "You can read my thoughts? Actually, never mind, it makes sense, as you are in my head. Where can I summon these gods?" Instead of responding with words, Zeruka projected the image of a spell book into Kreig's head. It seemed awfully familiar. Suddenly, it dawned on Kreig, that this book he was seeing in his head was in the same vicinity as him, under the possession of the wizard, Elijah.

Hesitating inside for only a moment, Kreig walked briskly out of his room, walking past the Lania without even acknowledging or noticing the one with her. Kreig walked outside of the cave and approached Elijah. "Hey, I just wanted to apologize to you. I don't have a good history with wizards, and didn't give you any chance to prove yourself to me. I'm sorry. However, I was wondering, as I only know spells to keep my clothes nice, would you be willing to school me in magic? I am coming to you instead of Eryn because I believe that you are superior in power, but I honestly have barely seen to cast any magic. Are you willing to help me learn some basic magic?" Kreig looked at Elijah, hoping he wouldn't see through his lies about trust. Luckily, Kreig grew up lying to gain people's trust. "Wonderful thinking"

The young man turned to face the guy who had just entered, giving off a faint carefree grin "Of course she's alright, after all why would I harm my own flesh and blood?" he said whilst placing a hand on Lania's head with her responding by leaning against him. "As for who I am, the name's Raptor Rinler!"
He exclaimed quietly with Lania just glancing at him and sighing. "And as for why I'm here; I happened to make an anti magic group mad by transporting me here to this cave... where I've been trapped with a goliath of a dragon for about, two days I think." He added on to his previous statement the girl next to him looking at him with a sigh "At least you haven't changed bro." Lania said as she looked toword Eyrn reassuring him that the person in front of him is not a threat.

Merci sighed, "Look Hantu I don't need you butting into my business or my newest group of friends can you please just leave with your nightmares. These guys don't need you and neither do I!!!" She laughed, "I'd be offended if I had such feelings." Merci's eyes glowed, "Feelings!?!! You want to talk about feelings?!?! How about the time when you broke my heart by stealing my man and then he couldn't stand the nightmares every night and killed himself!!! All because you took over his dreams by force!!!" Tears slid down her face as if the pain was fresh, when one of them bound a person's dreams to them they couldn't be broken or undone. Hantu flinched slightly, "I loved him too you know..." Tangu growled and lashed out with his teeth. Jihn jerked back screeching at Tangu, he snapped his jaws at him.
 
Feeling a little dumb, Eryn eases up. "sigh, I guess I did jump the gun on that one. Well, my apologies...But, you have to admit, that's some incriminating evidence seeing as how all I heard was a clash of metal." Sheathing his weapon, Eryn then begins to pester. "Well, I guess I should introduce myself. I am Eryn Lee Xiao." He extends his hand, but his ready in-case of a surprise attack.

Tangu snarled at Jihn and tried lurching forward, Jihn responded in kind they smashed together. Jihn's teeth sank into Tangu's throat while his teeth sank into Jihn's shoulder. A sword appeared in both Hantu and Merci's hands. The clashing sound of metal filled the air. "Why must we fight and be enemies!!!" She growled swinging the blade, she cut into Hantu's thigh. The two of them were practically floating in the air while their dragon's fought each other below them. Hantu brought her sword down and stabbed into Merci's side. "We will always fight because that is our destiny!!!!" She whistled and Tangu untangled himself from Jihn. Merci held her side as Jihn came to her side. She watched as Hantu darted off into the distance. Merci sighed, "L-lets go back to that place..." "Your hurt..." Jihn whispered as she climbed on his back, "I'll be fine... Hogo is fixing it a little..." Jihn huffed knowing Hogo could only stop the internal bleeding. He flew back to the cave and landed just outside of it. Merci climbed off and changed her outfit to a black tank and jacket with a pair of black jeans. Jihn watched her carefully, he wrapped his wings around her taking the form of a human, "I know I am nothing more than a memory of him but you did make me with a bit of his essence which makes me feel emotions for you...I can't stand seeing you get hurt..." He said tilting her chin up and kissing her softly. Tears slid down her cheeks as he did so, She pulled away hugging him, "I'm sorry...It's terrible of me isn't it!?!" she said looking at the ground.

Hantu and Tangu left, they traveled far away and back into the place she felt most at home with. She patched up her cuts and laid down. "She will never learn will she..."

Karlos sighed and pulled Autumn's body closer to him, he hummed a faint tuned that was often sang to Kirin's in their time. Autumn's body seemed to relax just a little bit more. Her eyes fluttered open slightly and she screamed before covering her mouth and trying to move away from him. She couldn't move her body though, it felt overly heavy.
 
"Yea that probably wasn't a good idea considering the dragon down below." Raptor replied with a nervous chuckle, shaking Eyrn's hand before glancing at the hallway outside the room. "Say, how'd you get past that dragon anyway? Cause the main reason I've been here undetected for so long is that crevasse back there." He asked pointing to a small crevasse in the wall made from erosion barely large enough to hide him in it.

Meanwhile whilst the two were distracted Lania snuck out of the room and back down to the lower caverns and saw Karlos one again on top of Autumn. Sighing she jumped down throwing a throwing knife against a wall in the cave before landing on Karlos and grabbing the back of his shirt. "You know your not helping you chances of living here,right?" She said nonchalantly as she pulled out another throwing knife, ready to put her plan of "restraining" Karlos into action if need be.

Jihn shook his head, "I don't mind...It's not like I can be with anyone else...I'm just a part of your imagination." Merci let go and grabbed his hand, "Your real enough and I only control you a little bit just when I need you or want you to come out....I try not to summon you." She walked into the cave glued to his side smiling softly. "Autumn is here." He looked down at her, "I don't sense her..." Merci paused in her walked, "That would be because she is human now." She stated flatly, when she hear noise she picked up her pace seeing Autumn awake and Lania holding a blade to Karlos. "What on Earth is going on!?!" She and Jihn walked over, Jihn grabbed Karlos and shifted into his dragon form dangling him in the air. "Put me down!!!" He growled at Merci, Merci smirked, "He has a will of his own." She said with a shrug. Autumn laughed as Karlos was in the air, "Nice to see you Jihn." She glanced over and winked at Merci who blushed, "It's not like that!" She hissed before holding a hand out to Autumn to help her up, "Welcome to the human side of things..." Autumn took her hand and went to stand she felt shaky and like she weighed a ton. "Until we get you back you'll need to eat and sleep and do all kinds of things you couldn't before. On the bright side you can take Krieg up on that training offer." This time she winked at Autumn and her face turned a bright red. Merci turned to Lania, "Thanks for keeping him under control..." Karlos's eyes traveled to Merci, "You smell like blood." Merci glanced at the ground, "I think your just smelling things..." She said bitterly, she honestly didn't want anyone to know she was hurt.
 
"Well, seeing as how we arrived with the son of this dragon, 'sneaking by' wasn't exactly difficult. We're gonna be here a second, hopefully not to long. We are probably gonna rest the night. We have a thing called the Order after us. Then I have an appointment with a particular wizard. He may be able to help in this 'mortal' business." Eryn finished with a chuckle. "But, it would be wise to introduce yourself to prevent any further misunderstandings, if you want to get out of here unscathed that is." Eryn then exits the room motioning Raptor to follow. "Ah see, everyone's here!" Eryn spoke excitedly while thrusting his arms out.
