Life is short so smile while you still have teeth
What really happens after your time in life has ended? Is afterlife the same as the stories persuade?
Gods are born from the wishes and desires of people. They can be born from any wish and continue to exist until they are completely forgotten because this means their duties have been fulfilled. However, Gods have an existence such that if not interacting with humans over a long basis or do not fulfill a number of consecutive wishes that allows them to be remembered, the gods will not be remembered by humans and thus will die. There are 7 gods most people from the Near Shore are mostly accustomed with. Some Gods loose popularity and become a minor God without a shrine and broke. Most of them live peacefully together, others yearn for their death and often tries to kill each other for specific reasons.
These are the 7 Gods of Fortune (Lucky Gods):
God of Fishing and Merchants
God of Wealth, Commerce and Trade
God of War
God of Knowledge, Art and Music
God of Happiness
God of Good health
God of Long Life
Phantoms are creatures that come from the Far Shore but like to influence Humans and other living things in the Near Shore. They feed of human darkness and depraves the "good" in people. When a spirit in the Near Shore (humans), gets corrupted, it is the Gods job to Terminate them.
However, Gods use do not any normal weapons to kill them. Instead, they use a regalia. They make look like a regular weapon but they are actually spirits controlling them. Regalias have a human form and their weapon form. To obtain one, people from the Near Shore who passed away from accidents (that means no suicidal deaths) or loose spirits are founded by the Gods and are granted a new name, become loyal to them, and remain beside them at all times. They do not remember their past life, only their owner does but they must keep it a secret. Not all spirits can become regalia so they are often abandoned or Gods give them a place live. Gods and regalias are intertwined, so for example, if one feels sadden the other one will share the sharp pain. Because of this, not many Gods possess large amounts of regalias.
Other Regalia duties:
-advise their God
-care for them
-learn to create basic border lines that protect them from phantoms
(If not strong enough, phantoms can easily break them down)
-not commit harmful acts
Regalias are easily depressed because they can't contact people from the Near Shore, making them easy targets for Phantoms. Since they were once humans too, Phantoms can also blight regalias or corrupt them, making their owners grow very sick and weak to the point of death if not treated immediately. They can be cured by either killing the regalia, releasing them, or an ablution depending on their owners decision. If Regalias are banished from their homes, they can look for other masters and become what is called a Nora. For an ablution, three Regalias must make boundaries that create a triangle-shaped prison for the corrupted regalia. The regalia must then submit to confessing all its sins, purifying itself from the darkness it possessed. Gods should treat their Regalias with respect, give them food, shelter, clothes, and teach them the basic training.
Lately there has been lots more phantoms lurking in the shadows than there ever was before. What might've caused this trouble? A God? A regalia who has lost its path? Or is it a Nora?

So this is my noragami roleplay. I was wondering how many people would be interested before I make an official thread.
