Neo Tepes was the heir to two thrones. One was infamous for impaling and being the first Vampire to walk the earth and the second was a Lord of Chaos that fell in love with the Count of Walachia. His unholy union threatened to tip the balance between good and evil by a hair's width. This made his mother fearful that Doctor Fate would eventually come for him due to his threat later on in his life, so she gave him to Atrocitus to raise when he was just two years old. She left him her whole repertoire of spells and rituals to look over as he grew older along with a letter that let him know that his father and herself loved him very much. As he grew up his Rage attracted the Ring of Rage due to his brutality and inherited Rage from his father at God. He harnessed that Rage to even a level that his Uncle Atrocitus was in shock. His uncle was even more shocked when five other rings, The Green Lantern Ring, The Fear Ring directly crafted from one of Parallax's spark, The Life Ring, The Blue Lantern Ring of Hope and The Avarice Ring from the Emotional Spectrum came to his nephew and actually had a heart attack because of this. He knew that his nephew was exceptionally gifted but he did not expect most of the Spectrum to deem him worthy of wielding their respective rings. But later mastered the rings in his possession and decided to apprentice himself under the lovable asshole known as John Constantine. His apprenticeship took him to Earth where his master was based at.
