Crow

Top-tier Avian Master
Throughout existence, time and space, a strange beast set forth. Its sole intent - to drag the minds of every existence into hellish nightmares. Few found time to sleep, and the many who did ended up sleeping for a long, long time.

VpTqZUI.png

"Fall into an eternal slumber..."

But alas, the biggest of dreamers could not be toppled so easily. They were beings who were one with the realm of dreams. They formed an alliance known as the Dreamscapers, and they did everything in their power to track this beast and its allies down. In the realm of dreams, there was no need to rest and no time to rest. They were lead by the dreamy but powerful Nemurin, one who called herself a magical girl, but had more similarities to an all-powerful god in the dreamscape.

On this day, the Dreamscapers must rely on unlikely help. They turned to those who suffered from nightmares, yet have the resolve to free themselves from them. Those whom they believed could give them the upper hand in this feud.

The Broskis. A ragtag team who faced anomalies in time and space, have once again been united to face threats - threats that could threaten the cosmos and life as we know it.

Together, these two teams will deal with the

This roleplay is part of the multifandom crossover roleplay saga known as Cooking with the Broskis. Prior knowledge on source material of roleplays, and roleplay setting is not required. Lost quite a bit of potential players that thought it might be required.

But what is the source material of this Roleplay's setting, you ask? Good question.

This Roleplay is speculated to last 3 months, 4 with stretching. If we exceed, we keep going anyways.

There's a good chance you came from the Interest Check.

myCWhYu.png

1. Standard rules apply - metagaming, godmodding, the usual.

2. You can play up to two Guest characters and two Broski characters. Total.

3. Please post at least once a week. You will be nudged if you fail to achieve this. Failure to comply for two weeks without explanation will result in me hijacking your characters if i know how.

4. A minimum of two sentences a post, please. It would be heavily preferred if you could hit a paragraph.

5. It is reccommended that you use the Discord listed above for OoC chat, as opposed to chatting here.

6. Have fun!

MF0eRYy.png

In each installment of the Cooking with the Broskis series, characters are divided into Broskis and Guests. Broskis are characters that are allowed to be used in every RP, while Guests have to follow 'Guest Conditions'. At the end of the RP, some of the Guests can join the Broskis so that their character can be used down the line.

Broskis, you know who you are.

In this roleplay, the Guests will exclusively be the Dreamscapers, the aforementioned organization/get-together/ragtag band of merry men that dwells in the Dreamscape. The Dreamscapers consist of individuals who monitor or even live in the dream realms, frolicking. So, it is suggested that a character of that nature has the means to access dreams through dream-related powers or dream-related machinery and gadgets, or even live in the dream world. It is also preferred that the character is or has the capacity to be good-aligned or side with our guys (so nothing like Bill Cipher, even if he is very tempting.) Yeah I get it, good and evil is subjective, but you get me, right? No one who pretty much has our antagonist's goals of plunging the cosmos in nightmares. Only characters who would choose to protect the realm of dreams.

Because I have been informed that dreamwalking characters are actually pretty limited or rare in fiction (somehow), I will claim one as a non-player character. But yeah, while there are other characters I intended to play as non-player characters, I will only play them if no one has signed up as them by the time the roleplay starts, or if said character has a role as an antagonist, in which if you end up claiming them by chance... well... And yes, original characters from original settings are permitted. That was always the intention.

If you legit want to play a character that doesn't qualify and are trying to bend them to fit into the roleplay (unless it's an OC, you do what you want with your own creations), do know that we will have other games in this saga in the future where said characters could qualify. We might- no- will even have roleplays without character restrictions, so I'd prefer you wait for that than we have a cast of characters that don't fit the character criteria except through some bending.

tl;dr Dreamscapers must be characters with dream manipulating abilities of some kind, have access to dream manipulating devices or live in the world of dreams themselves.

Also for the characters I would've wanted to play as non-player characters, if they're reserved but not filled by the given due date (that will be a week after signups start, with times in GMT+08, assume that the time limit is the good old 11:59pm), they'll be taken by me like an eagle unless someone else established wanting them before the reserve is taken off.

  • Name:
    Sougo Tokiwa

    Age:
    19

    Gender:
    Male

    Canon:
    Kamen Rider Zi-O

    Role: Broski

    Powers & Abilities:
    Armor Transmogrification - With the use of the Ziku Driver, Sougo can turn into Kamen Rider Zi-O and all of its associated forms.

    Temporal Observation - Sougo has the natural affinity to manipulate space time to his will, albeit to a small degree. Though once he could rewind time, Sougo could now only see into the future for a few seconds(active for 1 post tops) when Zi-O II is active and could look into the past of someone he's been interacting with, albeit happening at random.

    Teleportation - Short range teleportation that can be activated when using Grand Zi-O form.

    Summoning - In Grand Zi-O form, Sougo can summon various Kamen Riders from the past to fight for him. These summons are temporary and would disappear when struck down. Sougo could manipulate the summons' temporal state--he could pause/unpause a Rider mid air, and rewind their previous action. He could also summon any weapon that the Heisei Riders had used from his timeline. From Kuuga's Dragon Rod to Build's Fullfull Buster. He cannot summon any Secondary Riders nor their weapons. That's Geiz' shtick.

    Great Historical Knowledge - Sougo's practically a genius when it comes to history.

    Keen Manipulator - He has a way with words...But that doesn't hide his stupidity.

    Equipment:
    Ziku Driver - A clocklike belt mounted device that grants Sougo the power to transform into Zi-O using Ridewatches.

    Heisei Ridewatches - 21 Ridewatches based on the 21 Kamen Riders of the Heisei Era. Each Ridewatch, aside from Zi-O, Zi-O II, and Grand Zi-O are used as Zi-O's armors.

    Zi-O II Ridewatch - A Ridewatch born with Sougo accepting his Shadow--I mean Mirror Self. Grants Sougo a portion of Ohma's power.

    Grand Zi-O Ridewatch - The Ridewatch born upon collecting the 21 Heisei Rider Ridewatches. Grants Sougo the power to summon Riders from his timeline alone. Disappears whenever a Ridewatch is stolen from him.

    Zikan Gilade - A transformable sword-gun that has a clock and katakana motif. Usually obtained by transforming into Zi-O. Utilizes Ridewatches to perform devastating attacks.

    Saikyo Gilade - A thin, dagger like shortshort that attaches to the Zikan Gilade to create a greatsword. It comes with a Zi-O face that attaches to the Zikan Gilade, allowing Zi-O to create a towering beam of light from the greatsword. Kinda like Saber's Excalibur Noble Phantasm.

    Ride Heiseiber - A sword with the logos of all heisei riders that's summoned when Decade Armor is in use. It can project and/or combine attacks from various Riders.

    Personality:
    Sougo iz described as an ambitious young man with a strong desire to be king. This desire stems from a recurring dream he has had since his childhood, where a man in black, who would later be revealed to be Swartz, had encouraged him into becoming one in order to save the world. Because of his eccentric dream, Sougo did not have a lot of friends growing up, with his sole companion being a toy robot, a fact that Junichiro would confide later with Tsukuyomi, saying both she and Geiz were the first closest friends he ever had. Sougo also exhibits fanatical admiration towards the presence of regal figures (i.e.: Kuroto Dan) and ordinary people who possess benevolent king-like qualities (i.e.: Eiji Hino), as he believes he can learn from individuals who have succeeded in their ascension and also understand what is needed for one to be a benevolent ruler, resulting in him becoming one step closer to accomplishing his own ambitions.

    His views for kingship changed once he discovered the existence of his tyranical alternate future self, and temporarily abandoned his quest for kingship. However with support from Geiz, Sougo began displaying emotional and psychological resilience when facing such moral dilemmas; even when confronted by the Mirror World manifestation of his own dark side, Sougo persevered and adapted, and was able to come to terms with his inner darkness and decided to risk it all in finding out if he truly does become the evil tyrant he was destined to be. Despite so, Sougo is still someone who is sensitive towards people who tell him that he will or recommend that he become an evil demon king, despite him on several occasions voicing out his intentions to become the very opposite.

    Sougo is a peaceful and genuinely kind man at heart who confidently feels obligated to show compassion and empathy even towards people who have committed horrible deeds, such as Yuko Kitajima, Heure, and Ora, as he feels it is a quality that kings should possess. He will gladly put himself in danger in order to cease a conflict, a trait even Tsukuyomi does not fully understand. He is also very trustful towards others, and had no doubt that Geiz would use the Wizard Ridewatch and defeat Another Wizard in 2012.

    Sougo also showed an inability to come out with his feelings, hiding the fact that he genuinely felt lonely after Geiz and Tsukuyomi left and continued insisting he was fine. It wasn't until Junichiro built up the courage to actually scold him over this, advising him to just come out with his feelings. This encouraged Sougo to admit his loneliness to both Geiz and Tsukuyomi and asked them to return to 9 5 DO.

    Despite his peaceful nature, it doesn't mean that Sougo never shows anger. The first example was right after he discovered the result of the future he caused and witnessed the man he feared to become, and attacked Ohma Zi-O to no avail. After Heure was killed by Ora, and his death was mocked by Another Drive, it left Sougo in a rage and he mercilessly attacked and killed Another Drive. Following Swartz informing of three impossible choices to stop him, Sougo couldn't do anything but scream Swartz's name in grief and anger. That anger and rage took a turn for the worse after Geiz's death, who shielded him from Another Decade's attack. Combined with Tsukuyomi's supposed betrayal and the fact his life was manipulated by Swartz this whole time, Sougo then accepted the power of Ohma Zi-O and defeated Swartz with no hesitation. Despite his transformation into Ohma Zi-O, Sougo was able to not let his grief corrupt him, leading him to not go on the path of villainy like his future self did, but instead restore the multiverse back to normal, hence living up to his ambition of becoming the "greatest, kindest demon king".

    Because of his optimistic approaches, Sougo adds the verbal tic "Feels like it" (気がする Kigasuru) at the end of most of his sentences.

    History:
    I'll let Woz give you the background.

    "In accordance to this book, former average highschooler, Tokiwa Sougo, embarks on a journey to become the king of time, Ohma Zi-O. In his studies, he is adept at History yet abysmal on everything else. It's nothing short of a miracle that he passed highschool. He had met Tsukuyomi, Geiz and myself during his studies, which had influenced his decision to become a king. He intends to become the most kind and most beloved overlord as opposed to the evil tyrant that I had once served...And he has done so."

    Refer to Dashing through the Lane since it's not done from this point on.

    Fears:
    Being left alone
    Being mistrusted, and betrayed
    His friends being killed because of him

    Respected Others:
    Geiz Myokoin - A time traveller from the year 2068. He initially came to kill Sougo, however, over time, he became Sougo's most trusted friend and ally, asking him to finish the job when he thinks that Sougo's turning into the evil Overlord of his time. Died saving Sougo from Swartz(Another Decade)' attack.
    Alpina/Tsukuyomi - A Time Traveller from the year 2068. Attempted to dissuade Sougo from becoming the evil Overlord Ohma Zi-O. Became Sougo's trusted friend and ally. Died attempting to kill her own brother, Swartz(Another Decade).
    Junichiro Tokiwa - Sougo's great uncle who took him in after his parents' death. He is a clocksmith and an expert mechanic, being able to fix the time travelling train the Den Liner as well as Sougo's Ridewatches. He is a father figure to Sougo, and cares very deeply about him. He's supportive of Sougo's dream of kingship despite it's improbability. Although Junichiro was afraid of making Sougo sad, Junichiro scolded him once for hiding what he feels, knowing that Sougo cared deeply for Gei and Tsukuyomi and wanted them back into his life when they ran off with White Woz.

    Other Information:
    This bruh has a lot of forms, so I may pull some asspulls here and there. Especially with the forms Zi-O doesn't use like Kiva, Drive, Faiz, and Wizard armors and others that don't appear in the show proper.

    The pictures I used in the appearance are the forms I believe are significant.

    If there are powers I had yet to mention it's because they're form specific. Read the Wiki link if you must.

It isn't fair, is it?
Name: District Attorney (headcanoned name- Louise Worth)
Gender: Female
Age: 27
Desc: Black curly hair, ear length. Green eyes, and anxious, thoughtful features, with pale lips and dark circles under her eyes. She has a lean figure, and is slightly shorter than average, with narrow shoulders, and hands that fidget constantly. She wears the clothes she died in (collared white shirt, black business pants, and business shoes).
Canon: Who Killed Markiplier? (post canon- the void she's trapped in leads to the dreamscape)
Personality: Quiet by nature, she speaks little, and finds it hard to trust new people. She is loyal to those she does trust, and despite all she's been through, is quick to forgive. She can also be chaotic, and often does seemingly random things, simply because she couldn't do them when in the mirror. She is easily overwhelmed, and can be a bit of a crybaby when faced with something scary. She sometimes refuses to share information out of fear that no one will listen.
Role: Dreamscaper
History: Who Killed Markiplier?
After being trapped in the mirror, she was eventually able to visit the Manor's void pocket dimension, where she found she often had odd dreams about the people she once knew. After some years, she found a tear in the dimension. Desperate to be somewhere besides the Manor, she escaped into the tear, only to find herself in the dreamscape.
She joined the Dreamscapers a few weeks after arriving, but gave little information about herself, only saying that she wanted to help.
Abilities: Doesn't really age (due to being kind of dead), has a decent charisma stat despite being super quiet, and is excellent at arguing. Because she is so quiet, she often is able to eavesdrop easily, sometimes standing in the same room as the speaker without being noticed.
Weaponry: Her fists, an old fire poker she stole from the Manor
Fears: Heights, mirrors, loud noises, and being betrayed. Also, spiders.
Respected Others: Unknown (after what happened, she's unsure if she can find, let alone trust, anyone she knew when she was alive. Possibly Actor Mark- if only because she sees him as much of a victim as she was- see wiki link under "History". She sees him as a kindred spirit, and would treat him as a long lost friend of they met again.)
Other Info: She cannot properly die (already dead), but does take time to heal, and her injuries cause more pain than they would normally. She also adores apple pie, and will gladly eat it whenever possible.

Gigantispore.jpg

Name:Gigantispore (Giore)

Gender:N\A

Age:1209yrs

Description: Giore is amassive creature standing just over 1330 meters tall and weighing just under half a million tons. Its thin legs and long tail make it seem slower than it actually is and while it seems top heavy the large orange growths on its back are actually hollow, each being filled with its own ecosystem. The massive blue mushrooms on its back and head glow at night making it visible even in darkness. Its smaller clones look like it does without the orange biome spheres yet can range in size from one meter to a hundred but making them causes the original to shrink by the amout or biomass needed to make them

Canon:
OC

Personality:Being so large may make a creature like Giore seem intimidating but you would be hard pressed to find a gentler giant. This behemoth seems to find joy in providing shelter and sustainance to those around it, even if doing so may be detrimental to itself. It communicates with the world around it telepathically but will not violate the privacy of ones mind, nor will it speak to those with evil in their hearts, though even the most wicked do not earn its hatred. Rage and hatred are foreign concepts to this creature, though fear is not, it does not fear for its own life rather it flees from threats so that it may continue to help all it encounters. Thats not to say this creature is harmless or without its flaws, a half a million tons of anything can be very dangerous if it accidentally steps on something, even if it doesnt step directly on a town its lumbering steps can feel like earthquakes to those nearby. In the event that it does inadvertently harm some thing its mournful cries can be heard for dozens of miles and for a time it will be inconsolable.

Role:
Dreamscaper

History:
Nearly twelve hundred years ago the sentient plants of Ursa minors fourth planet developed a religion revolving around thier idea of the perfect Biological organism. From their ideas and dreams Gigantispore was born into the dreamscape,at first he was a mere 4 meter mushroom, yet this mushroom would grow for centuries fed by the prayers and beliefs of the Ursa plant folk. Nearly five hundred years after its "birth" its people would face their doom as a solar flare erased thier planets atmosphere. However giore was a protector by nature and refused to let its people down. In that instant of need giore developed vast telepathic power, which it used to draw the consciousness of its makers into the dreamscape and unleashing spores to grow into bodies that they could use. His followers were so greatful that they merged themselves with the then 22 meter mushroom, thus creating the mobile form of giore.

This newly mobile Giore wished to explore the world it had been born into, which it found to be full of those in need of protection and safety. For 700 years it wandered the dreamscape offering its own body as food and shelter to those in need. The diversity of creatures and their needs caused it to grow diverse biomes on its back , which in turn provided fuel for giores continued growth as creatures would live and die within him. The dead were absorbed, providing more nutrients to further grow and provide more for even larger populations. Yet benevolence is often taken advantage of, in its travels giore offered shelter to a race known as the formain. The human sized intelligent ants were able to hide their intentions using their queens telepathy. Like a cancer they spread through giore eating away at him at a rate he couldn't keep up with, and hunting the lifeforms it harbored.

That would have been the long and agonizing end or Giore if not for the efforts or the dreamscapers who went into its body to rid it or the formain infestation after hearing its telepathic cries for help. In its gratitude Giore grew another biome on its back, one with a large structure it read from the minds of its saviors, a place the dreamscapers could call home, in addition to becoming a dreamscaper itself. Since then it has spent most of its time continuing its mission to provide as much good as it can, all the while coming to terms with the fact that some evils must be met with violence in order to prevent their destruction of the innocent. Yet even still it abhors causing harm and has been known to weep bitterly during and long after combat.

Abilities:
Immense strength-Giore can lift up to 4x its weight with a bit of effort, and striking the ground has been known to cause large earthquakes.
Regenerative growth-Giore never stops growing though its current size makes that growth hardly noticable, it is capable of stimulating surges of growth that can heal its wounds with speed depending on the injury. Even if a single spore remains it can be recovered.

Mitosis- Giore can split smaller copies of itself ranging from 1 to 100 meters at the cost of biomass. The larger the copy the more biomass it costs,thes copies lack the biospheres.

Telepathy- Giore can communicate with any sentient life from and read the thoughts and intent of those within its visual range. The most powerful application of this ability was shown when it pulled the minds of an entire planet into the dreamscape, granted the planets population was only one fourteenth that of earth.

Morphing Growth- while not a full blown shape shifter Giore can control its body to a remarkable degree,growing new appendeges
Such as tendrils, biospheres and even eyes.

Pocket dimension creation- The inside of Giores biomes are much larger than what they seem from the outside is. It cannot pull others into it without letting them inside its body which is its most severe vulnerability as the formain have shown. Each of the biomes are connected via fungal doorways.
~~~
Weaponry:
None though its flaming tendrils can be used as whips even letting out the trademark crack when swung.
Fears:
Harming others, Being destroyed, Larger beasts.
Respected Others:
Giore respects all life, regardless or what it may be.
Other Information:
The rough texture of giore makes it easy to climb, each orange biosphere on its back is a small environment ,one is full or water and fish, another a damp cave filled with creepy crawlies, the third is a forest, and the last is a lush garden that holds the dreamscaper hq building. They are each impossibly larger than physics should allow.
Name: Bismarck "Mad Clown" Nuberson
Gender: male
Age: 37
Description:
A taller then the average man, Bismarck bears jet black hair and pale green eyes to boot. His face has a few burns and scars from a few accidents. Hence,why he usually wears a mask.
Canon:
Original
Personality:
Bismarck is a joyful Clown with a knack for practical jokes and the occasional sarcasm. He usually means no harm,just makes harmless pranks occasionally. But be warned,he's a Very Big Advocate of the phrase "eye for an eye". Other than that,he isn't very inclined to actually fight people.
Role:
Dreamscaper
History:
Hailing from an average medieval fantasy world. Bismarck traveled across the world with his troupe,from town's squares to even the courts of kings. The troupe would occasionally take a few "trophies" and move to the next place. Bismarck was particularly good at taking "trophies", hence being pretty popular among the troupe. One day,when performing for a school of wizards. Bismarck was "Gifted" a new "trophy", and when he opened it.......he died. The book quite literally sucked him into it. For years he spent in the book's pocket dimension,eventually,something broke through. At first it was a small crack,but by then Bismarck was in a sort of frozen state. "Let it burn out let it burn out let it burn out..."
Name:
Inokura 'Ino' Nanabi.
Gender:
Male.
Age:
17.
Description:
Inokura is a pretty, but still growing boy. Standing at a regular, if not slightly short 5 foot and 6 inches, the boy is often seen with bags under his eyes and an overall messy get-up and style to him. His shoulders are slumped, his muscles hurt, and it isn't uncommon to see him slumped over the nearest comfortable thing. Despite this, he is often seen using headphones or checking his phone, listening to music, and often uses clothes to cover his entire body.
While in battle or in the Dream Realms, Inokura often carries with himself a Western sword like you'd see a 'knight' of sorts use, as well as carrying with himself a sniper rifle, and much combat-focused gear, such as fingerless gloves, and clothes that allow him to move about more easily.
Canon:
Persona/Shin Megami Tensei Series OC.
Personality:
"I dunno, he feels like he's gonna fall apart anytime now..."
Inokura is a quiet, and often 'bland' quiet when it comes to personality. At least at first glance. The truth is, as a Wild Card, Inokura will always be portrayed as a quiet if not bland kid. Normal hobbies, normal interests, personalities- and often appearing as calm and collected- not freaking out or being incredibly emotive. However, naturally, as with all people, as one gets closer to Inokura, he will naturally be closer and more comfortable with them. Doing jokes, discussing normal things, and overall being a relatively easy person to get along with.
Despite this, Ino is decently smart, being able to solve and figure out most questions, coming with plans of action and strategies in battle, and most importantly, being able to manage his free time well, either be with studying, hanging out with friends, or working. He possesses a natural charm, due to his powers as a Wild Card allowing him to 'change his mask' to fit with the personality type of someone who falls under the Arcana, (although that largely depends on which Persona he's using, and their representation.)
Despite this, he does occasionally tend to have a few episodes- be it by memories of his past, his friends, and his overall journey before reaching this realm. He is rather sleepy at times and seems to have mild insomnia at times, but his dreams have been getting better.
Role:
Dreamscaper.
History:
Prior to arriving at this strange yet not so unfamiliar land, Inokura has been through a journey of his own. Details of this journey are few and between- ever since he arrived here, memories of his past life are...Hazy. He knows who he is, his age and that he is something called a 'Wild Card.' A few glimpses of his past are available to him, memories of his time as a highschooler. People he cared about. Friends, family, a mysterious man, butterflies- and something called the 'Dream.' The great subconscious of dreams of all of mankind, where he and his other companions ventured about to destroy nightmares plaguing other people.
He was their leader. The leader of a team that was once called the 'N.E.T.' The Nightmare Ending Team, using the power known as the Wild Card and Personas to destroy these nightmares physically to be able to affect the real world, and the people who were once affected by them.
That is all he is aware of, however. Knowledge of any kind seems to still be there, be hazy to him to remember. He knows certain names, places, terms, and while he possesses great power and experience already, much of the former is gone, and the latter seems to have made him dwindle to the basics, despite still knowing his way in battle well. He seems to be willing to work with the Dreamscapers, with his wish being having his memories brought back to him, and go back to the place he calls 'home.'
Abilities:
"It's like the number zero...Empty, but holding infinite potential."
Ino is a Wild Card. Meaning he can 'change his mask.' In other words, not only can Ino change his personalities, but he can also wield multiple Personas at once and access their powers with this power. However, he cannot store an unlimited amount of Personas within himself. As of now, he is only able to use 6 at once, and even so, he only has one of note. Normally, he'd have access to a place between dream and matter, conscious and unconsciousness to summon and make his Personas stronger, yet, he isn't aware whether or not he can still access that realm or not.
The power of the Wild Card is powerful, but it comes with its downsides. Ino cannot change Personas all at once, only having the opportunity to do so once every turn he has. Even then, he gains their weaknesses as well as their strengths or immunities- with his weakness being dangerous, as it can allow the enemy to do another free hit on him.
His current and only Persona is Sandman, The Guardian of Dreams in Western folklore, who possesses a few skills of his own- such as putting his foes to sleep, attacking with a powerful dream blade or dream 'needle', creating illusions, as well as possessing superior strength and speed. As a Persona falling under the Fool Arcana, it was Ino's original Persona, although it lost much of its original power, leaving it in a weakened state. However, as most Personas, it can grow in strength along with the use, and even reach a new form, as it did before.
Ino can summon his Persona by ripping out his aforementioned sword from his chest, who take a spectral form when in the presence of his enemies, and is completely invisible when none are around. This is described by Ino as 'pulling out one's inner strength to fight against their fears.'
As a Wild Card, he is capable of forming contracts with Shadows and other similar beings to become his own Personas, although, he doesn't know if that is possible, either.
Weaponry:
A double-edged western shortsword. Originally the first weapon he ever truly used that he pulled from the depths of his soul to fight with, it takes the form of a simple, if not generic knight sword. It can deal with relatively weak damage to most enemies, but it can be useful when Ino doesn't want to use his energy and not be able to use spells with his Persona, as they directly take from his life energy and own spirit.
Most weapons relating to Ino which he sleeps with can be used as a weapon, although he generally uses the same basis for the shortsword. If he sleeps with a better-looking shortsword, he can use that weapon in battle, and the same applies to his other 'dream weapon', a white sniper rifle used to temporarily confuse and weaken enemies with the impact of the shot. Limited in usage, only having 11 rounds, and only with a small chance of causing any actual effect to enemies short of low damage.
However, given he is already in a dream of sorts...He isn't quite sure how he'll get better weapons. He'll figure it out, though.
Fears:
Despite his strengths and weaknesses, Ino doesn't possess any notable fear as a Wild Card- being one of the main reasons he was able to wield its power. He does possess small fears, such as traumas in the past, or seeing a person he cared about pass away, but it was through facing and fighting against these fears he was able to unlock his Persona, as well as be able to fight against other people's fears and nightmares, helping them face their own as well.
Respected Others:
A man with a long nose...A girl with almost princess-like victorian outfits...A team of friends formed together by unfortunate events, but whose bonds are strong...N.E.T...A talking bird he kept as a pet...A girl he had a crush on, part of his team, although of which he never was able to show his true feelings...His mom, his father...His father...And the son of death the almighty, trying to bring her back in his world to incite a Fall...
...He knows he cares deeply about people. He knows he hates others deeply. But aside from their existence and acknowledgment in this mind, Ino isn't able to remember them fully. Maybe something can cause his memories to come back, though.
Male
Age:
(Will be explained in the future)
Canon:
DC0B8E60-A7C9-472A-95E0-7BEEAEA1EEA6.png
Personality:
Due to the limitations of the Virtual reality set he uses, he is unable to show much emotion or even talk with others in the dream realm, and having to rely on using either sign language or bodily motions to show emotion or try to speak with people. He does however, reveal a emotion that is very common, which is being observant of not only his surroundings, but to things is such as hints or understanding emotions of other people, and will show both a aura kindness, and caution for others.
He is, however, seeing a new realm with his own eyes, due to the fact that he only recently discovered that the dream realm exist using his VR headset and high tech computer, and thus, would stop for a moment in order to look around in each new dream, often taking in its beauty, or hoping that he is able to deal with the horrors that lie ahead of him.
Role:
Dreamscaper
History:
Not much is known about his own life, due to him being a shut-in, who stayed at home in order to play games. He recently started playing a unreleased game called SUPERHOT, which is where his character is based of. But throughout his time playing the game, there was something wrong, like multiple people trying to stop him from playing the game, and even in real life, which made him panicked greatly every time he touched the game.
So, he stopped playing the game for months, forgetting about it, until recently after a major upgrade to his computer set up, that allowed him to access the Dream part of his mind, which prompted him to become trapped in a state of unconsciousness, now in a new realm, with little knowledge of how to return back to his own realm now. Now working with others in this realm, he has no choice but to work with them for now, aiding them with not only his hacking skills, but with his newfound combat skills, some of which coming from the same game he used to play.....
SUPER....HOT
Abilities:
TIME. MOVES. ONLY. WHEN. YOU. MOVE.:
A passive ability that turns on when in combat, and is off outside of combat, everything is slowed down when he is standing still, but the more motions or actions he make, the faster time moves. It’s like the name implies, time moves faster when he moves. This ability is useful, for it allows him either dodge incoming attack or plan out his next course or action.
Copy + Paste:
Using the code from his own headset, he is able to summon weapons from his world, which varies from a katana, all the way to a simple shotgun. But he is only able to summon five extra weapons at a time, before having to wait for 3 minutes in order to summon more, and the timer does not start until he uses all of his five charges.
Knowledge-is-power:
Every weapon he uses, even those that are not his own, he has at least some basic knowledge about the weapon that allows him to use it without an explanation or some information. But, with some information, he is able to use that weapon to a much greater effect. He is also very agile and acrobatic, like he was born as a expert parkour person, which is his main strongpoints.
Weaponry:
Code + Error:
A pair of permanent pistols, that have unlimited ammo inside each one. They can still break when thrown however, and require longer in order to respawn them, which takes 10 minutes
Fears:
- Being removed from his headset
- Seeing the enemies he once fought in the same world
- Losing his powers
Jevil
Gender:
Male
Age:
???
Canon:
Deltarune
Personality:
There are a words to describe his personality at the most basic level, chaotic, energetic, and optimistic. This had been a result of his insanity, which made him a very hyper person, along with him trying to make the best of every situation, with some chaos added in if it’s needed, or not. The thing he enjoys doing most, other than fighting, is making new friends, ones that don’t mind his chaotic nature, and accept him as the energetic jester/devil hybird.
But he knows when to start and when to stop, and know how far to go in situations, after all, going too far with a prank or joke is not funny, and would bite him in the future.
Role:
Dreamscaper
History:
Jevil worked as the Court Jester, together with Seam, who was the Court Magician. One day, however, Jevil encountered a "strange someone," and his personality shifted permanently. Seam explains that Jevil "started saying bizarre things that didn't completely make sense - but didn't completely not make sense, either". Eventually, Jevil started viewing the world as a game, while everyone acted as its participants. Because of this, Seam was forced by the four Kings to lock Jevil away underneath Card Castle.
Jevil had been locked up there for years, until the day some Lighteners came to join him in freedom, while also playing a small numbers game. In the end, Jevil was eventually defeated and pacified, which prompted him to return to a 100 year slumber, which is where he first entered the Dream Realm. New opportunities, new friends, and new foes to fight, this Jester is gonna do his best to either cause the most amount of chaos to his foes, or have the best time doing pranks against his allies. After all, who else gets the chance to be free once again after being in a 100 year slumber...
Abilities:
The Jack-of-all-trades:
Using a variety of powers, he is able to use a combination of using symbols, teleportation, and shapeshifting in order to gain a edge in a battle, and here they are in order:
-Royal Flush:
Using a combination is care based symbols, he is able to create white and black based card symbols and scythes as attacks, with each one having a different way of showing it revealing itself in battle.
-High card:
The most basic and easiest ability to understand, it’s just a simple teleportation based move that allows him to quickly move around, when either attacking or just using it in order to reach it locations that are normally difficult without this ability.
-METAMORPHOSIS:
This ability only has one use, which is shape shift into the Devil’s knife, which is a a scythe of strange make, and he can use it for either an attack, or being used as a weapon by someone else.
Weaponry:
Devilsknife:
A customized scythe that is one of the main weapons that Jevil can use, which is a normal weapon when used in melee, but when thrown, it is able to fire a pillar of light into the air, useful when trying to hit targets in the air.
Fears:
-Being imprisoned once more
“I’m the rickest Rick there is.”
Name: Rick Sanchez
Gender: Male
Age: 70
Description: A tall and lanky man with a very slight build and Sparsely distributed blueish white hairs and a perpetual drunken drool line coming from his mouth, and a soulless gaze that speaks to the horrors he has commited.
Canon: Rick And Morty
Personality: A man to some, a monster to others, and even a god to some Rick is a man of many faces, though none would consider any of them to be particularly nice. He is narcissistic pessimist who believes that the multiverse itself and all things in it are his playthings. While he espouses emotionless logic over all he has been shown to care about his grandson to a massive degree even sacrificing himself to save him on more than one occasion. However his creativity and irrefutable genius has allowed him to walk away from each instance of sacrifice with the same nonchalant attitude he has always possessed. He hates a great deal of things but none more so than himself.
Role:
Dreamscaper...kinda.
History:
Rick was once a brilliant scientist with aims to better the world and live happily with his family...or so he would have you believe. However after encountering An alternate version of himself who offered him the answer to multiversal travel, which he declined, the other Rick deposited a bomb into his garage killing his wife. In his despair he cracked the formula and began his travels through the multiverse.
Eventually after being gone for decades he returned to his family where he and his grandson Morty and occasionally his granddaughter summer would go on wild adventures. Though his time away seemed to change him, while it was never shown when or how his transformation occurred he became a truly terrible person capable of Outwitting and eventually beating the crap out of the devil himself...with some help from Summer.
From creating entire universes to power his flying car, to waging war on the galactic federation and a council of himselves from other universes, to turning himself into a pickle. Nothing seemed out of his reach. However when Morty went Into a deep sleep from which he could not awaken Ricks true colors showed themselves. Taking his Dream scanner technology and integrating it into his portal gun, then transferring his lab into a pocket dimension within a briefcase he loaded up into his flying car and made his way into the dreamworld to wage war against the nightmares that took his grandson.
Much to his dismay Rick found the nightmares of the dreamscape to be too much for even him to handle and as they began to close in on him he prepared to rig his portal gun to explode into a singularity vowing to take them all with him if he was going to die anyway. Luckily before he could finish such a drastic measure a tremor got his attention and he looked up to find a massive creature seemingly made of fungus. It let out a wail like that of a whale and from its back came The Dreamscapers who made short work of the creatures. They offered to help him out if he would join them, which he begrudgingly accepted realizing he was quite out of his element. Despite their obvious differences Rick has spent several weeks with them learning the physics of the dreamworld and preparing his arsenal all the while seeking his grandson.
Abilities:
omega level intellect- Rick Sanchez is potentially one of the greatest minds in the multiverse. Crafting portable dimensional travel, Entire universes, destroying worlds, Turing himself into a pickle and back, even besting thousands of himself in a match of wits. Despite this intellect however he has shown on many occasions that he is not above rolling up his sleeves and getting his hands dirty.
Weaponry:
D/Portal Gun- Ricks modified portal gun capable of making portals into the dreamworld and any other universe within the multiverse.
Flying Car- Ricks car looks a lot more like a UFO and possesses similar properties displaying shielding, Stealth, and advanced AI in addition to a variety of horrible weaponry and numerous ways of inflicting damage.
gadgets galore- assuming he doesn’t already have the device he needs Rick is capable of coming up with new technologies on the fly with a above average success rate though things don’t always go according to plan.
Fears:
Losing Morty forever.
Admitting he is wrong.
Respected Others:
His grandchildren Morty and Summer.
Krambopulous Michael.
Bird person.
Other Information:
Constantly drinks.
Is More so bad then good.
Is very much unliked by Giore.
Age
14
Description
Dipper looks like any plain fourteen-year-old boy, with a head of somewhat messy brown hair, and moderately pale skin. His eyes are brown, and have noticeable bags underneath. He normally wears a blue hat with a white cap, with a pine tree depicted on the front. He also wears a blue vest, light orange t-shirt, blue jean shorts, white socks with a red stripe near the top, and black sneakers with white soles.
Dipper, first and foremost, is a very adventurous soul. He's very restless, always looking for the next journey to go on or mystery to solve. However, his need for adventure does not get in the way of his rational thinking. For a boy of his age, he's extremely mature, though he also suffers from severe paranoia and trust issues. Despite being compassionate, Dipper can be seen as extremely selfish and stubborn, rarely apologizing to anyone, as he has always believed his actions are for the greater good. He's very self-conscious, especially when it comes to comments on his maturity. Dipper is also very judgemental, always going by first impressions.
Role
Dreamscaper
History
Dipper was born in Piedmont, California on August 31st. Not much is known about Dipper's early life, besides his titular 'Lamby Lamby Dance' and love for Halloween, and trick-or-treating by default. When Dipper was twelve, his parents made the decision to send him and his sister, Mabel Pines, to Gravity Falls to live with their Grunkle Stan in his shop/home the 'Mystery Shack'. One day, Dipper's uncle tasked him with putting up flyers in the Gravity Falls Forest, where he found a journal. This journal would lead to many adventures, all culminating into Dipper's fateful meeting with one Bill Cipher. At the climax of his time in Gravity Falls, he meets Stanford Pines, who in turn would help Dipper stop Weirdmageddon from destroying Gravity Falls and all beyond it. Ever since then, Dipper has dreamed of Gravity Falls, day in and day out. He often slept to avoid the horrors of what he faced in Gravity Falls, so much so he almost feels himself trapped. Upon learning of the strange beast leading to others (and possibly his) slumber, he decided to join the Dreamscapers, as he knows first hand what it's like to face a foe that could destroy life as anyone knows it.
Kaladin.png
Name:
Kaladin
Gender:
Male
Age:
21
Canon:
The Stormlight Archive
Personality:
Kaladin is a man defined by his protective instincts, both for better and for worse. He is a natural leader who inspires loyalty in those who follow him. He is also prone to bouts of depression, especially when those he considers under his protection suffer. In addition, despite being trained as a soldier, he is very torn about killing and struggles to reconcile his protective nature with his career as a soldier.
Role:
Broski
History:
Kaladin's early life was pretty good. His father was a surgeon and was respected by the town he grew up in, at least until the lord in charge of the town died and the new lord in his jealousy of the respect his father garnered conspired to make his family miserable. The final insult the lord gave to the family was to take their younger son, Tien, and conscript him into the army of his cousin and liege lord. Kaladin volunteered to join the army to keep an eye on his younger brother. Turns out Kaladin was a natural with a spear and after a few hiccups, including the death of Tien, he was made the youngest squadleader in the army he served in. Eventually, he was betrayed and forced into slavery by the lord in charge of the army and after several owners, he was made a bridgeman. Being a bridgeman was a suicidal job as bridgemen ran ahead of the army, without armor or weapons, at the enemy to place a bridge over a chasm for the army to crossover. His crew, Bridge Four, was the one with the highest casualty rate. After a brief time where he considered killing himself. Kaladin set about to change Bridge Four from the sorry state they were in into a professional group as well trained as the best soldier. And after several setbacks, he, with the help of Syl, his spren companion, did exactly that. Eventually, he learned to use the new abilities he gained from his bond with Syl to help Bridge Four have the highest survival rate of all the bridge crews. On one bridge run, he witnessed the betrayal of Highprince Dalinar Kholin by Highprince Sadeas and helped Dalinar and his son survive the massacre that happened there. Afterward, Dalinar bought the freedom of all of the bridgemen and asked Kaladin to be the captain of his family's guard and to train the rest of the bridgemen to comprise this new guard. Kaladin now guards the Kholin family, including Dalinar's nephew, the king of Alethkar, and trains to master his strange new ability.
Abilities:
Powers & Abilities:
Kaladin has the ability to absorb the energy of a highstorm to various effects (see the link below), he almost always carries gemstones infused with the energy of said storms called spheres (which is also the primary form of currency in his world).
In addition to Kaladin's normal spear and throwing knives, his honorspren companion, Sylphrena (Syl for short), can transform into virtually any melee weapon and a shield. While in her weapon forms, Syl functions as shardblade and as such cuts through inanimate objects like butter and directly cuts the soul for any being that has one.
Fears:
Being unable to protect those he cares about from harm.
Respected Others:
Dalinar Kholin - friend, charge, and mentor
Tien - deceased younger brother
Hesina - mother
Lirin - father
Description:
Kamen Rider Zero
Zero possesses a dark undersuit similar to Kamen Rider Joker. It has silver gauntlets, greaves and a silver belt holding up a short black battle kilt. Its silver shoulderpads are rounded with a single medium sized hole going through it. Unlike most Riders with bug eyed visors, Zero has a simple dark motocycle helment visor taking up most of his face. On either side of his head are silver wing-like adornments. The Zero Driver has a similar screen to the Drive Driver but is much more streamlined. Atop the Zero Driver is the port for inserting transformation Tiles or summoning weapons and gear.
Canon:
OC
Personality:
Izuru is a person with a personality that regularly changes between cold logic and jovial lollygagging. Izuru likes to regularly project an image of a happy-go-lucky trickster with slapstick showmanship. He does this partly to toy with the situation at hand and to convince others that he is far less astute than he seems. When alone with people cares about, Izuru is much more grounded while still cheery and affable. Izuru is quite intelligent, having knowledge and skill on subjects relating to science, the arts and especially magic. He is the kind of person to drop everything to learn about something that interests him until he understands it on a fundamental level. Izuru has become a changed man as of late, more silent and melancholy. Seeing a bigger picture than before, Izuru is slowly becoming more and more reticent with his true thoughts. Recent circumstances have given him a low opinion of himself. Feeling that he has become less than human, he fully accepts the mantle of "Monster" given by his detractors.
Role:
Dreamscaper
History:
There are many stories about the man named "Izuru Kamukura". Tales that depict him as an impulsive youth who takes on the most deadly of foes. Narratives that paint the picture of a man who continuously sought out greater knowledge. Even a few stories relating his various relations with members of the fairer sex. All of these come together to form a collective of contrasting accounts that take the form of "Izuru Kamukura". What is known however, is that Izuru is someone who wanders from universe to universe, world to world. Within one of these universes, Izuru and his partner V collected the powers of Kamen Riders to defeat the evil PHANTOMB. In his most recent adventure within the domain of the True Goddess, Izuru joined the battle against YHVH alongside the Arbiter known as Satan. Satan could directly destroy YHVH, being a creation of the almighty deity. Gods in this world couldn't properly kill one another, only capable of sealing their divine foes. Satan hatched a plan to empower Izuru so that HE could kill YHVH. Satan trapped Izuru in the Diamond Realm and the two fought for days on end, until Izuru overcame the prototypical angel; bolstering his powers by absorbing the Arbiters soul. He then challenged YHVH and slew the Avatar of the controlling demiurge. The embers of the creator were claimed by Izuru to push his powers even further. Settling down in a new universe, Izuru won the lottery and earned enough money to kickstart a new company. One of his benefactors in the rise of his new enterprise was a aging woman who worked as a "Dreamscaper". Izuru offered to take over her work if she used her new free time to help run his growing business. Restoring a dormant V and opening a portal to the dream-world. Izuru began his work as a Dreamscaper in order to figure out his next step in his new life.
Abilities: (As Izuru)
Dimensional Travel: Izuru has the ability to open tears in the fabric of the universe to traverse the many multiverses. Originally he had to locate a weak points in the skin of that world in order to open a tear. In recent years, he's learned how to use Dimensional Walls as a safer and more reliable method to traverse the many universes.
Magic: While originally a neophyte at best when it came to the mystic arts. Izuru has steadily grown under the tutelage of many teachers. The merger of his soul with Satan has boosted his powers to the divine tier. He can control the elements, manipulate the mind, create barriers, reinforce his body, heal his wounds or even perform powerful curses and blessings. Izuru hasn't fully mastered these abilities yet so he's prone to either letting out too little power or too much power.
Demon Summoning: While once he had to rely on an external device to summon supernatural entities such as demons. Now Izuru can use Satans power to summon them to his side. Currently he can only call upon three summons at once. Even then, the stronger the summon; the less demons Izuru can field at once.
(As Zero)
Rider Power Duplication: V possesses the power to perfectly copy the powers the abilities of Kamen Rider that Izuru allies himself with. Izuru can then use Power Tiles to transform into that Rider and utilize their unique abilities and form changes. This power hinges on V and removal of her from Izuru can disable his access to his Rider Power altogether. If provided with an object that houses Rider Power, V will automatically convert it into Power Tiles (Ex Kamen Ride Zi-O Card to Zi-O Tiles)
Final Zero: The ultimate form of Kamen Rider Zero, a possibility that is only realized through the combination of all Rider Powers. Izuru lost access to this form after using it to destroy Kamen Rider Phantomb.
Weaponry:
Crimson Tornado Mk-1.5: A Beam Katana powered by a rechargeable ManaTek (Magical Technology) battery. This weapon can slice through almost all physical objects and even most magical phenomena. Unfortunately it is also prone to running out of energy due to the technology still being in its development phase.
The Zero Driver (Mk II): A Driver originally built by Neo Dai-Shocker in order to create a Rider to destroy Kamen Rider Decade. Stolen in an unfinished state by Diend before being claimed by Decade himself. Tsukasa Kadoya gave the belt to Izuru when the latter chose to fight against Phantomb without any sort of defense against the ghostly entity. The infant A.I. developed its own identity as it journeyed alongside Izuru through various Rider Worlds born of possibilities. Izuru chose to call it "V" because its first attempt at smiling looked like a :>. V was eventually infected with a prototype copy of the Bugster Virus that could grow within devices. Emerging from its shell, V took the form of a silver haired girl. V discovered she could replicate the powers of Riders that she and Izuru met and used this power to help arm them against Phantomb. Eventually the two merged to become Final Zero to destroy Phantomb once and for all.
Fears:
.Having completely lost his humanity
Respected Others:
Chiho Kamukura: Born Chiho Hidaka, this sickly girl was orphaned at a young age. Growing up in and out of hospital, she eventually became the lover of an elite assassin named Uzume. The two would live together, though Uzume would hide the source of her income out of fear Chiho would abandon her. During an stint in the hospital for possible appendicitis. Family members of Uzume's targets would target Chiho in revenge. They would simultaneously send hitmen to kill Chiho while also having a back up plan to bomb the entire hospital if Uzume wiped out their attack force. Despite her power, Uzume lost her life protecting Chiho from the bombings. Having no-one left in the world, Chiho contemplated death as she lay beneath rubble. This was when a teenaged Izuru saved her life. Izuru saw Chiho was all alone, just like he was. So he offered her the chance to be his new big sister, desiring a family after being by himself for the past few years. Chiho accepted and changed her last name to match her new "Brother". Chiho and Izuru became as close as real siblings, with Chiho even learning magic. Chiho would hone her craft and become a magical doctor. Eventually an older Izuru would resurrect Uzume as a way of saying goodbye to his sister before leaving to figure things out.
Otonashi Kamukura: Originally a clone of Izuru made by his nemesis Fioren Maxwell. Subject "O" was trained extensively to both kill and replace Izuru. Though he eventually defied Fioren and chose to forge his own identity, one formed through his own power. Serving as a rival to Izuru for a brief period, the two eventually teamed up to stop Fioren from calling upon a planetary deity to destroy humanity. Izuru brought O back to Fioren to get patched up. It was here that O eventually grew to care for the two, even if he could never admit it. It was decided that he'd become "Otonashi" Kamukura, Izuru's "Twin Brother". Otonashi soon set out on an interdimensional journey to sharpen his skills. He'd eventually slay two gods of Light and Darkness and steal their powers with the help of Izuru, who swiftly departed before Otonashi could say anything.
Nene-Sensei: The Demonic Warrior who took Izuru in during his early days travelling the many worlds. A former Crownsguard to the Queen of the Netherworld, she was famed for being the strongest in their ranks. She was also the one who developed the armoring that allowed their Queen to safely use her powers. Taking up a job as a Mangaka named "Nene", she found a dying Izuru in an alley and saved him. Izuru pestered her to train him to be as strong as her. She constantly refused out of a desire to focus on her manga. Nevertheless, Izuru eventually won her over with his dauntlessness. Under her, Izuru learned Martial Arts and gained a greater understanding of magic. He'd pop in from time to time to help her with her business in between his adventures. The last time they met, Izuru fought a duel with her to safely test his new powers. Satisfied, Izuru left his teacher to her work.
1595126922247.png Name: David “Dave” Lister
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Canon:
Red Dwarf
Personality:
Lister is known for being very slobbish and unmotivated. His best shirt supposedly has two curry stains on the front and he never bothers washing his clothes; prior to going into stasis, he saved money by never buying soap or deodorant. He describes himself as a "space bum". He loves spicy Indian foods, especially curry and vindaloo and drinking large amounts of lager (the only thing, as far as he's concerned, that can kill a vindaloo). His other dietary habits are dubious to say the least. His best-known inventions include beer milkshake and a triple fried egg sandwich with chilli sauce and chutney. This last food put Petersen in hospital for a week. His hair is kept in dreadlocks on the back of his head, which he seems to have had for most of his life. He had revolting personal habits, such as biting his toenails, scooping food from the bin to eat it, and growing mould to ridiculous lengths.
Lister has a tattoo on his right buttock, dedicated to the love of his life: it is a heart with an arrow through it and underneath it has in dripping curry sauce the text I love Vindaloo, and another on his thigh stating that he loves Olaf Petersen that he received whilst drunk.
Lister suffers from claustrophobia, which stems from an incident when a vengeful husband caught him making love to his wife in the stock room of the supermarket where he was employed. The man kidnapped the naked Lister, locked him in a box and threatened to chuck him into a river. Lister begged for mercy and was finally released onto the stage of a local theatre in the nude, in the middle of the Bootle Amateur Players' production of The Importance of Being Earnest.
Rimmer was constantly pointing out Lister's stupidity, but in actual fact Lister was quite bright, although he was indisposed to use his intelligence to any great degree. He was capable of piloting a spaceship very well, of operating Red Dwarf and had a knack for mechanical repairs, particularly amateur cybernetics. He was literate, despite Rimmer's claims to the contrary, but he was not a regular reader, except for comic books (Although in a deleted scene in Series 7, Kryten revealed he'd found classic literature hidden under Lister's bed, with a horrified Lister asking Kryten "not to ruin his image"). This intellectual side has also prompted him to make various philosophical reflections, such as when he pondered the drawbacks of the Justice Field erected on Justice World and the dangers of planetary engineering. As a third technician he was the lowest ranked person on Red Dwarf, however this is solely because he joined for a paid trip back home with no intention of advancement. His apparent stupidity in photographing himself with his cat were part of a plan of his to be imprisoned in stasis until he reached Earth, which was the reason why he'd joined the crew in the first place.
Lister believed himself to be an excellent guitarist, but his belief was misplaced, Kryten describing him as a "ten-thumbed, tone-deaf, talentless noise polluter". His companions force him to practice his guitar only outside of the ship in a space suit. Lister eventually acknowledged his inability to play the guitar to at least some degree. After losing his arm in an accident, Kryten helped him play guitar again. After hearing the result, he commented. "at least now I'm only half crap".
After being revived from stasis, Lister's biggest regret was not achieving his dream life of moving to Fiji and opening his stand. This idea became the cat people's version of Heaven. Even after three million years drifting in space, Lister still held on to this dream, trying to revive Kochanski at any possible opportunity. When Lister meets an alternate universe incarnation of Kochanski, he is given the chance to create a child. When the child is born, he takes it back in time and space to the pool table when he was first discovered. This means that Lister is essentially his own father, and his girlfriend is his mother.
Role:
Dreamscaper
History:
After being with the JMC for eight months, Lister was imprisoned in a stasis booth because he smuggled a cat aboard from planetary shore leave on Mimas. In the novel, it is explained that he did so deliberately to get put in stasis, thus allowing him to travel back to Earth without experiencing the passage of time. In the television series, Lister got the cat because he was lonely after Kochanski dumped him. While Lister was in stasis, a release of lethal radiation occurred on board and killed the entire crew. Holly, the ship's computer, kept Lister in stasis for three million years until the radiation levels decreased to a safe background level.
Lister was revived three million years later and found himself the last human in the universe and three million years away from home. In order to keep him sane, Holly activated a hologrammatic simulation of Arnold Rimmer to keep Lister company. Lister also found the last remnant of a race that evolved from his cat, whom he simply named Cat. Through The Cat, Lister discovered that during his three million years in stasis, the cats had deified him, naming him Cloister the Stupid. Though originally seeing him as a replacement pet ("and I've still got a cat"), the two eventually become close friends.
After recovering the mechanoid Kryten from the wreck of the Nova 5, Lister teaches Kryten to think for himself, a process that continues through the series as Lister urges him to break his programming and repeatedly rebuilds him. He also later attempts to renew his relationship with Kochanski when they are joined by a parallel version of her in Series VII, despite the fact that she is in fact his own mother, and Kryten's own paranoia about the pairing meaning that Lister wouldn't care about him anymore. His interactions with Rimmer also develop throughout the series, with the continuing animosity occasionally broken through with moments of empathy and affection, although events such as going through "The Rimmer Experience" continually make it impossible for Lister to count him as a friend.
Throughout the course of the series, Lister often makes references to his increasing maturity, most obviously in the opening of the Series VII episode "Tikka to Ride" as well as in the Series VIII opener "Back in the Red, Part One", where he comments to the resurrected form of Arnold Rimmer that he has become "more mature, more debonair" in the face of his many accomplishments and experiences aboard Red Dwarf. However, in Back to Earth, it is revealed that he had something of a breakdown during the nine-year interval that had since elapsed, slowly losing his faith in himself and resorting to the self-destructive habit of excessive drinking.
One night, Rimmer’s ridiculously loud snoring awoke Lister, forcing him to search the ship for any kind of sleeping medicine because all his attempts to wake Rimmer failed miserly. Holly suggests looking in Bay 47, which Lister takes no time in rummaging the content of the cabinets and getting his hands on a sleeping pill bottle. Tired Lister disregards the obvious warning labels and walks back to his norm while swallowing 2 pills. It doesn’t take long for him to “wakes up” in another world where he accidentally joins something called “Dreamscapers”.
Abilities:
None.
Weaponry:
Bazookoid: A Bazookoid is a directed energy mining gun used by mining colonies operated by the Jupiter Mining Corporation and intended to blow apart rocks and ores. Bazookoids are standard equipment on mining freighters like Red Dwarf and they look a lot like portable missile launchers therefore named after "bazookas". They have to be "cocked", which recharges the blast. Bazookoids come in both a rifle-type and handgun-type configuration (Mk.I and Mk.II), and are able to be switched between firing either laser blasts (amplified electromagnetic light) and plasma blasts (super-heated, ionized gas).
The bazookoids have some form of computer-assisted targeted and aiming, and that the blasts can be made to be heat-seeking (although it is unclear if this is a standard feature of the bazookoids or if they have been modified by Kryten). Some of the energy blasts unfortunately chased after Cat, targeting his body heat (leaving Kryten and Rimmer alone as they are mechanical and hologrammatic respectively), but Cat was able to perform some extraordinary feats of acrobatics and quick thinking to avoid being blasted before sealing the energy bolts into an airlock. Some time later, these energy bolts were accidentally released, but fortunately they exploded the unaware polymorph as it prepared to strike the Dwarfers.
Fears:
Suffers from Claustrophobia.
Death
Respected Others:
Cat:
Cat is a current crew member of the JMC mining ship Red Dwarf. Originally believed to be the last known member of his species, Felis sapiens, he is the result of three million years of evolution. Cat shows many feline traits such as total self-centeredness and vanity, but to an extent learns to bond with his crew mates becoming a valued member of the Dwarfer posse.
Kryten:
Kryten 2X4B 523P, B.S. (Bachelor of Sanitation) is a Series 4000 mechanoid or 'slave 'noid'. He is very humanoid, with the exception of the flat cubic planes visible on his face and head. His brain is synthetic yet also partly organic, based on that of John Warburton. Once the personal servant of three female crew members of the Nova 5, he is now reduced to serving the slobbish Dave Lister, the only surviving human crew member on Red Dwarf. He was also on the SS Augustus before the Nova 5, but the crew died of old age. After his rescue from the Nova 5, Kryten becomes a vital crew member of Red Dwarf, serving as science office. A neurotic mechanoid obsessed with cleaning and being a slave to humans, Kryten, with the help of Dave Lister, learns to break many of his programming protocols to become more independent and human like.
Holly:
Holly is the name given to a sentient, "tenth-generation" artificial intelligence which was installed aboard the Jupiter Mining Corporation mining ship Red Dwarf.
Kristine Kochanski (Original):
Kristine Z. Kochanski was the Scottish Drive Room First Console Officer aboard Red Dwarf and Dave Lister's unrequited love. She was an integral part of his Plan. In the plan, she was to ride on a horse in Fiji, and be his and Frankenstein's only companion. According to Holly, Lister and Kochanski had exchanged a grand total of 173 words before she and the rest of the crew died, although he might have been joking.
Name: Reed Boiyo
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Description:
Since there's no color on le images, allow me. Reed wears a black jacket with purple trims. Hir real life version has spiked, slicked back brown hair while the PIT3D version has his hair down as well as a purple tailcoat draping down to his knees.
Split Co-Op changes the trims and the tailcoats from purple to red and blue respectively. Red for the female and blue for the male. These colors also apply to the hair that covers their other eye.
Ultima basically takes Reed's hair and spikes upwards, turning magenta in the process while attaining a rad pink glow
Canon:
Original The Character
Personality:
Reed is simply a happy go lucky person who enjoys his dangerous job more than anyone in the world. He seeks thrill and would often go for the more risky maneuvers rather than tactical ones. He is eccentrically kind and would often times engage in banter in the middle of combat just for fun or to get some info on his opponents directly, if he could.
When he knows that the battle's more serious than ever, Reed isn't all that chipper. Although he retains his quips, he would try to strategize and utilize what he learnt through the course of battle to win the fight. He's prone to panicking when his plans don't work as planned and would try to throw everything at his opponent during this serious phase of the fight. He would ofter be more chipper if things go his way.
Role:
Dreamscaper
History:
Reed Boiyo was an average normal young adult, about to spend his life in his mother's basement playing video games all day when all of a sudden, giant glowing cube-like meteorites fell from the sky, creating a massive explosion of similar smaller cubes which appear to kill people and make them float.
Reed was one of the unfortunate people who was hit by this event which they call The Qontact. The Qontact was the event where mysterious alien beings sent a massive cube meteor filled with mysterious elements never before seen on Earth. Reed was one of the only subjects to be taken from the Qontact Incident, taken from government facility to government facility in order to research the cube that had struck Reed. Physically, the cube is unable to be separated from him to the fullest extent of science back then, and thus, he has been comatosed for over a decade.
Reed was born in a bizarre and wild world. Creatures, beings, and stereotypes found in memes are all over the place, the world is powered by mysterious energy crystal quartz known as Dew, typically found in mountains that are volatile if mishandled. The Dew powered most of the technology in the world he had come to known as Badassia. In this world, Reed is known as one of the best Soldiers in Training of a country known as Murica before he was caught playing a Neptunia game, which is a Japanese Game that is outlawed by the country due to it being japanese. After fleeing the country, Reed found himself in a remote portside mini country known as Weehon, a safe haven for people like Reed, who appreciates japanese culture but aren't as braindead and crazy as the Weebs of Al Weeaboo, a terrorist organization that attempted to spread their love for japanese animation in the most brutal way imaginable--conquering regimes.
Reed became a mercenary who specializes in hunting down the remnants of the old weeb terrorists in hopes of gaining the attention of Steam, the organization of gamers that enforce the law of Badassia. However, their eyes were set upon two Heroes who would be known as Mountain Dew Quickscope and Daniel Doritos Blazeit, chosen heroes of Lord Gaben and their quest of defeating the ancient hacker xXPussySlayerXx, following to the downfall of Origin and EA, all the while preventing the launch of the dreaded DLC.
Months after the incident at Origin, Reed was approached by a japanese scientist who aims to start a Team representing Japan despite being banned by Steam due to past atrocities. He was opted to become the leader due to him not only being a sane Weeb, but because he speaks english. Reed was experimented on with a bizarre mixture of Dew, Anime, Gamerite and DLC, allowing for the creation of the GamerVision, the wrist mounted gameboy advanced which allows him to be practically invincible until the armor's Health runs out. It also granted him several other weapons and forms. His abilities were demonstrated when the Nazis that were hiding from the moon unveiled themselves and launched a worldwide invasion on Badassia alongside the hacker xXPussySlayerXx, and thanks to his efforts, Japan has been welcomed by the world once more. Months following the hacker's defeat, the worldwide celebration has been interrupted by the Shintogami, who claims that the world has been tainted beyond belief. Reed alongside Mountain and their Teams chase the Shintogami into an ancient shrine where everything appears to be wireframe.
There, the Japanese Gods engage in an all out battle with both teams, resulting in the loss of the lives of almost everyone, including Gaben's chosen one, Mountain. Taking on Mountain's power as his own, Reed charged on through and was left face to face with the true God, Izanagi. It was then that Izanagi reveals something about Reed and the nature of the world of Badassia.
All this...Was just a dream.
Nothing he did mattered in the real world, which Izanagi revealed to be in the process of destruction and the gods of the Real World will come and finish what they started 10 years ago. Memories of that day flash on Reed's mind. The day his life ended prematurely thanks to an unknown asteroid. The knowledge that he is just a normal guy forced to be reborn in a world in his dreams made Reed feel angry. He didn't asked to be reborn, he didn't asked to live another life where he was a fugitive--he didn't asked to be forced into a coma of all things! Reed fought Izanagi with those feelings at his blade. However, Reed was quickly overpowered, falling unconscious. During that short time, he recalled a scene in his youth. A scene with a friend of his, asking about a hypothetical scenarion.
"If you were to wake up on an apocalyptic world with no one left, what would you do?"
Reed chuckled at the question, noting how it sounded like an anime plot. He then answered the question; "Hmm...Probably the same thing I always do. Try my best to just live." With those words, Reed started to glow magenta, his hair spiking akin to that of a super saiyan. He felt a wild surge of power, now eminating neon pink cubes that he recalled to be similar to the ones that knocked him out. With that power, Reed declared that wherever he is doesn't matter. As long as he breathes, he'll do whatever he wants and live his best life all the while taking down Izanagi, who turned out to be a mass of magenta code. Afterwards, the world around him turned into wireframe, textures turning into static as the sky disappeared, turning black. The world around him disappearing, ended by his own hands.
10 years had passed and Reed was kept in a hidden government facility, attempting to reverse engineer the technology attached to him. Eventually, while getting little to no results, the facility was attacked by alien Scouts who had come for Reed, taking down everyone in the facility and putting a few of them in the same coma as Reed. Unfortunately for them, this is about the time Reed snapped awake from his dream, rocking a brand new look different from the one he had during his life within his coma induced dream his otherworldly weaponry materialized on his person as well, including his armor system.
Reed stormed through the facility, wanting to get out on his own. After storming through its many floors and finding out that the main exit's been blocked out by rubble, Reed arrived at the top floor lobby, a giant wall like flesh monster leaking neon colored cubes blocks the path, impeding Reed's freedom. Reed takes down the wall like flesh beast, exploding into various neon cubes, remaining only an unconscious corpse of a girl who looks like japanese scientist in his dreams with a small glowing neon cube on here chest, sinking into her flesh glowing as if in standby.
Reed attempts to wake her up by normal means--slapping and yelling at her. After a few minutes, he'd find that it was useless, that is, until the Game Visonnaire on his forearm glowed, a holographic screen appearing with some sort of cube on it, glowing and pulsing. Reed aimed at the girl's chest, and the cube that had just sunk onto her skin. started glowing. The screen bringing up a prompt to start. This is where Reed discovers that he could dive into the dreams of those with the same cube thing as him and potentially wake them up by destroying the code guarding the dream. For Reed, eliminating the GM, as he dearly called it.
And so he did.
After saving the woman and learning about what happened to his world, Reed joined up with three girls who claims to be looking for a nirvana of sorts. Reed recognized the faces of these girls as they were similar to the girls from Badassia, mistaking them as his old teammates. Obviously, the girls were confused until Kuroki, the girl whom Reed mistook as Kuroko, explained that he woke up from being hit by the cube at the Qontact. Seeing that they clearly have no choice, the girls accepted Reed and Kuroki in their small group, and started their misadventures around the country in order to take down the Sq'ueens(The aliens that brought upon the Qontact) and liberating small human settlements, eventually finding a rad abandoned government military base with working generators. Kuroki explains that this facility once belonged to the Null Union Integrated project, where they would take in other patients much like Reed and try to research and experiment on their bodies in an attempt to weaponize the Sq'ueen Drones.
During the aftermath of a breach in the base, Reed had finished waking up Sally, he noticed how it's taking long for him to wake up. Raising a brow, he then saw a blonde pajama clad woman riding a cloud. She gave him a vague warning, asking him to join her group to take down a beast that threatens their dreams.
Reed expressed his suspiscions on the warning, but eventually decides to join just because he needs a change of scenery. He woke up once more, told his team what's what and before they could even protest, Reed went to a deep sleep, joining up with the Dreamscapers until the Beast has been slain.
Abilities:
Expert Marksmanship
Great Swordsmanship
Weapon Conjuring(Via Game Visionnaire)
Great Athletic prowess
Supernatural jumping strength
Physical Invulnerability - While the Game Visionnaire is active, Reed's body is physically invulnerable. However, when the health bar displayed on his chestplate is depleted completely, Reed now becomes that of a regular human until he recovers his health.
Photokinesis(Master Gamer Sword and sheath)
Pixel Induced TransDream Deep Dive(PIT3D) - A function of the Game Visionnaire that works in his reality. Whenever Reed encounters someone who has a Sq'ueen Drone lodged on their body, Reed will be able to detect and subsequently enter their dream world to try and free them from their dream. While in this mode, Reed has access to his full arsenal as well as his Ultima State.
Split Co-Op Mode - Accessed by means of a button on the side of Reed's belt which only appears in PIT3D mode. Split Co-Op allows Reed to essentially turn himself into two separate entities at once; a red clad female and blue clad male. However, in this mode, Reed's HP is permanently halved for both entities, and would be forced out if one of them reaches 0 HP. Mostly used to overwhelm the opponent.
Ultima State - A State of pure invincibility when Reed's determination awoken after finding out about the real world. The Ultima State can only be activated if Reed's health is at the red (25% below) and lasts until Reed unleashes a critical attack. In this state, Reed produces many neon pink cubes that could shift into any construct he wants as well as shoot lazers from them. Reed gains the power of flight as well as super speed enough to create after images. This state can affect even his Split Co-Op form. While Ultima State can actually be activated manually, Reed chooses to do so only if he's in a real pinch.
Weaponry:
Master Gamer Sword - Reed's only weapon that isn't contained inside the GV's armor system. The sheat has a cyan glow around the edges when the sword is in its sheathe. The blade itself glows yellow and cyan when taken out of its sheathe, which expands into a shield. The sword can shoot out waves of light energy or a beam of light if it's not sheated or sheathed respectedly. If the crystal button is pressed, it can unleash an attack known as 'Triforce Smash' or if the Weeb Chronicles cartridge is inserted, 'Master Triforce Smash'
Weeb Chronicles Cartridge - The Cartridge that allows Reed to don on his armor. Can be removed and inserted onto weapons for more attack power. As the kitsune kit grew, she saw more and more homes be destroyed by the power-hungry demon, and soon wanted revenge. This is why, as she grew up, she found the courage to enlist herself into the army of a wise kirin named Mismakora. Mismakora became a hero to the young kitsune, and she tirelessly worked to become the same magic prodigy as her leader. Because of this, Mismakora took a liking to her, and put her in charge of her armies alongside her dragon bodyguard, Sunburn.
When Mismakora invented the Barrijade spell, however, Uriah's affection for her began to wane. Barrijade was a dark spell that sealed off the target's heart, making them cold and ruthless. Though the kirin claimed it to be for the greater good, the kitsune continuously grew afraid of the spell and the monsters it created. Finally, she could stand it no longer, and she ran off to a village of kitsunes. She lived peacefully in the village for the next few hundred years, spending the rest of her youth in security with the rest of her kind...and then Lapatido attacked again. This time, Uriah was thrown into the multiverse.
Along her travels, Uriah met a young Miletan named Yuchino, and immediately took her in, determined to return the child to her home world. Unfortunately, they ended up separated, and Uriah nearly tore herself to shreds looking for the little girl. This is how she met the Dreamscapers, having been injured in a monster attack. As a skilled sorceress, Uriah has an arsenal of spells for fire manipulation, shadow manipulation, and nifty defense or escape spells such as phasing or intense speed boosting. While the spots on her back may look like decoration, they actually gauge how much manage she is consuming. She can use three spells at once, each spell marked by the glowing of a pair of spots. If Uriah is sound asleep, and can't be awakened or even moved, then she is walking in a dream. She often uses this power to console people through their troubles as they sleep.
Weaponry:
Her claws, her teeth, her tails
Fears:
The Barrijade, Lapatido, Yuchino being hurt or killed
Not knowing what to do, Lavenza attempts to contact the Phantom Thieves of Heart by stepping out of the Velvet Room only for her to be interrupted by a blonde girl rider a pillow in pajamas. This girl, brings about a warning of a beast threatening the world of dreams. Lavenza thought nothing of it until she remembered the phrase her sisters always tell her: Everything happens in the Velvet Room for a reason. 155-1554710_art-id-mario-y-luigi-dream-team-hd.png
Name
Luigi Mario
Gender
Male
Age
24
Description
Tall, slender, a bit chubby, and always wearing green, Luigi certainly does nothing if not stand out in a crowd! His trademark mustache is one of his most defining and noticeable traits, and you couldn't miss that popular "L" had even if you tried!
Canon
super-mario-logo-A8E04F3EC2-seeklogo.com.png
Personality:
Luigi is a heroic, kind and sensitive character. Luigi aspires to be like his brother Mario and become the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom. The attention Luigi received from the Year of Luigi made him awkward and shy.
He tends to chicken out of situations that are beyond his capabilities. In the Mario and Luigi series, Luigi backed away from boss battles, but Mario reassured Luigi to fight with him. In Luigi's Mansion series, Luigi feared ghosts but adjusted his liking for ghosts and has a pet, Polterpup.
Role
Dreamscaper
History
Before joining the Dreamscapers, Luigi lived out his days living in his brother's shadow, while also joining him on a few adventures and even rescuing him from the occasional haunted mansion or hotel. It wasn't until after his dream powers awakened following the events of Mario and Luigi: Dream Team that everything had changed for him. The Dreamscapers caught wind of his powers and offered to have Luigi join them as a spot on their team, and not being one to turn down such an offer, Luigi immediately agreed!
Abilities
  • Superhuman Strength: Luigi can lift and press objects that are several times his weight, but not as much as Mario can. The exact upper limits of his strength are great. In Super Mario 64 DS, Luigi can lift King Bob-omb. Luigi showed an even more impressive feat of strength during the fight with Bowser. Luigi could lift him by the tail, spin him around and then throw him, but not as effectively as Mario and Wario. Luigi spins Bowser around faster and farther with more spins. Luigi's incredible strength also extends to his legs, allowing him to perform his signature move, the Jump Jump. Luigi is extremely good at jumping and is capable of leaping two stories high. He is the best jumper in the Mushroom Kingdom, even better than Mario.
  • Superhuman Durability: Luigi has a significant level of durability. He can withstand great impacts, such as falling from a height of several stories or being struck by an opponent with superhuman strength, impaled, and explosions-- Luigi can also endure extreme environments, such as volcanoes and tundras. Also, he can withstand fire, electricity, and ice.
  • Superhuman Stamina: Luigi can maintain continuous physical activity for an indefinite time.
  • Superhuman Speed: Luigi is capable of running up walls in Super Mario World, running across the surface of the water in Super Mario 64 DS, and outpacing sound in Super Paper Mario. Games display Luigi running faster than Mario.
  • Pyrokinesis: Luigi can create and manipulate fire. This ability changes throughout the games he has appeared. In the platform games, such as Super Mario Bros., Luigi needs a Fire Flower to gain pyrokinesis. But in the RPGs and Super Smash Bros. series, Luigi already has this power. Luigi is quite skilled at using fire like Mario is.
  • Electrokinetic: Luigi has the power to mold lightning in his hand into a sphere, creating a powerful attack, called the Thunderhand, that can shock and damage enemies quite severely. Luigi only uses this move-in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.
  • Negative Energy: As shown in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Luigi's Final Smash (Negative Zone) is creating a field of Negative Energy while dancing to exotic music. Some of the effects of this Final Smash include putting opponents to sleep, dealing damage, and causing foes to move in slow motion. This move is fueled by the sadness he felt for constantly being in Mario's shadow.
  • Super Form: Luigi can use a Super Mushroom to transform into Super Luigi.
In the dream realm, he is able to do all of this, but he is also able to activate what is known as "Luiginary Works", which has many different ranges in their abilities. One allows him to form a gigantic ball of Luigis, while another allows him to take on the form of a giant. All of the Luiginary works have limits, though, as Luigi can only use them for short periods of time before growing too exhausted to continue.
Weaponry
  • Hammer: A giant hammer which Luigi can use to strike opponents with.
  • Poltergust 3000: A vacuum-like device that allows him to suck up ghosts. The newest upgrade has an attachment to it, known as Gooigi, which is an exact replica of Luigi, except made of goo, that Luigi can manipulate at will.
Fears
Being quite the cowardly person, Luigi is afraid of a lot of things. Monsters, spiders, the dark... sometimes even his own shadow scares him.
Respected Others
There is no one that Luigi respects more than his brother, Mario. Although he is usually spending time in Mario's shadow, he looks up to his brother to an extreme degree. It brings him joy just to go along with him on some of his many adventures, and deep down, Luigi's greatest desire is to just make his brother proud of him.
