Millennium City: Nova - Welcome to Millennium City! (Wave One Intro)

Lucario

Lucario grinned. Perfect, he thought as he kept dashing behind crates and staying out of Stroheim's line of fire for as long as he could. He was slightly nervous -- scratch that, he was beginning to doubt his own plan -- but his teammates' performance renewed his faith in himself. Lucario concentrated on his Aura Sphere more, and this time, he succeeded in speeding up his charge. It would be only a bit longer until Lucario threw it at the cyborg.

It should be enough to bring down a small stone wall now, Lucario nodded. Keep him off me for a bit longer...

The canine's steps sped up. He was pushing himself to the limit, concentrating all his power in his Aura Sphere while simultaneously performing several maneuvers with his body, such as barely squeezing between two crates while cartwheeling through the air. Lucario didn't want to admit it, but he was showing off a little bit...

His mind shot back to Frank's statement once again. Hatred filled his mind as he reflected on the sentence. He wouldn't hold back -- I'll teach that freak what those people felt, he internally screamed.

“Alright guy, let’s see how you like some fireba-“

“Wait Lann. The-use your head! If you use that you’ll the-catch everyone in the blast!” Tama exclaimed in warning atop Lann’s head, who was taking cover around a corner. The boy nodded at his companion’s advice and looked for a way to help his teammates instead of hindering them. After scanning around he spotted Lucario charging up some sort of energy sphere. It’s size was steadily increasing but it seemed to be a rather slow process. That gave Lann an idea! He looked up at Tama who simply nodded in response. With that, Lann held up his gauntlet hand in front of him, open palm facing outward. He did his best to track the agile pokemon’s movements, his gauntlet beginning to emit an orange glow.

“Haste!” Tama and Lann shouted simultaneously, the orange energy shooting out from his gauntlet and homing in on Lucario. It coalesced at the jackal’s back as he moved and formed a sigil resembling a clock. The hands of the clock were moving at an incredibly fast pace as time itself began bending around the pokemon, speeding him up in relation to everything else around him.

Unfortunately, the German blocked the EXPLOSIVE bullets with his arms, but that should still do some damage, perhaps slowing them down. The robot retaliated by spraying in bursts at Corvo's feet, making him dance back from the bullets. The assassin got behind the magic shield the scar-faced man placed, and began to regain himself. The headband-wearing man shouted orders from behind the German robot, telling them to focus on the gun so as to cut off his ranged attacks. Smart, so Corvo tried to do as he told. However, the German blocked the two shots that DID hit him, as the others flew past, so he doesn't think his luck will increase with another few shots. He only does have 6 left, after all. He also can't stay behind this shield for long, as Stroheim might still target him and destroy the shield.
Of course, the soldier began to attack the stomach gun himself, so the shield might not be the target anymore. On that thought, the assassin left the shield's protection, and went on the side of the German opposite to the rifleman, but still in front of the robot, as to get a clear shot on the gun. If the robot has only one gun left, well, he can only shoot one person. If he decides to shoot one or the other, it could leave his gun open to be destroyed. As for attacking, he fired 2 more EXPLOSIVE bullets at Stroheim, spaced apart by a second.

~Shilo Saga: Interaction with Asuka ( marc122 marc122 )
Location: The Warehouse at 52 Grapevine Street Northeast.

Shilo stood by, watching everyone attack but never had the feeling that she should go on the offensive, so she remained a witness to the activity, not a player. That was until she saw the young German girl had grabbed an orb as well and found herself in a mech suit. Well, that's going to be helpful... if she can use it. Shilo thought to herself, watching Asuka as she used the mech suit to... remove herself further from the fight. Interesting.... Shilo maneuvered herself so that Asuka was constantly in the corner of her eye, which was a good idea as it didn't take long for the German girl to side with the German antagonist. Shilo took off at a full sprint to intercept Asuka. She jumped forward and grabbed onto on of the mech suit's arms, using her momentum to try an steer Asuka off course before she landed any attack on Lann. "Asuka, was machst du?" (Asuka, what are you doing?) The assassin hissed, the tone of voice she used was the same that she used when scolding a team member, which often had left grown adults scared of what the assassin would do to them. "Wirst du wirklich dein Leben riskieren und die einzigen Leute bekämpfen, die dir jede Menge Freundlichkeit und Schutz gezeigt haben? Und wofür? Ein Deutscher, der Sie als bloßen Verräter ansieht, nur weil er bei uns ist." (Are you really going to risk your life fighting the only people who have shown you any amount of kindness and protection? And for what? A German who would consider you a blood traitor merely for standing with us.) Shilo had already considered the only reason Asuka would dare fight against the group in a two against... however many... merely based on the ideas of nationalism. The assassin figured that the best way to get across how bad of an idea that was, was to be as blunt as possible, whether or not what she said was completely true or not. "Denke das durch. Und wenn du immer noch kämpfen willst, dann kämpfe gegen mich." (Think this through. And if you still want to fight, then fight me.) The assassin stepped back to wait patiently for the child's reply.

Condition= Fighting/Frustrated

"This is one tough asshole! Maybe next time we can find a Nazi robot that doesn't shoot at us?" Delsin continued to run around the Nazi firing the occasional Smoke Shot at Nazi and taking the occasional bullet. He had enhanced durability, but it didn't mean he was invincible. Speaking of invincible, none of Delsin's attacks worked, but at the very least, it drew the Nazi's attention away from his allies. After maybe a minute of running Delsin had run out of smoke to shoot. "Crap! Where the hell am I supposed to find..."

Delsin stared at French robot that was spewing flames earlier. "Hmm...Maybe I can get some smoke from the French Robot" He made a mad dash towards CHEF Smoke Dashing to avoid a laser and landed behind cover. "Uhm? Mister French Robot mind opening up your chest so that I can get a recharge? Thanks."

As he was asking for a recharge that sounded oddly sensual, he noticed the the little girl from earlier getting into a robot suit and proceed to punch a kid with blond hair with a white fox thing next to him. When Agent Saga saw this, she seemingly tired to provoke her in German. Delsin couldn't tell, he never took German high school. "What the hell? I thought she was on our side!?! And what's that other chick doing, trying to pick a fight with a robot suit?"

  • Stroheim was, safe to say, getting quite overwhelmed. But did that hinder his abilities in any way, shape or form? No, it certainly did not.

    Frank rolled: 6

The Nam veteran's flurry of rounds proved sharp and precise, each bullet penetrating the hull of the cannon and jamming it, leaving Stroheim's main method of offence practically useless. This, however, gave the Nazi an edge in one category, as the destruction of his primary ranged utility forced him to go aggressive in an attempt to distract his biggest threats.
Frank was one of said biggest threats, receiving a warm and friendly robotic fist flying across the warehouse and slamming full-force into his jaw.

    Corvo rolled: 4

Despite Corvo's consistent barrage of explosives, Stroheim didn't seem to pay much attention to him other than occasionally peppering him with bullets in return. This time, however, things were different: one of the assassin's projectiles landed a foot or two behind the Nazi, the detonation completely shredding his rear arsenal and exposing the mechanical intricacies of his back collarbone.
The consequence of this, however, was that the German was catapulted through the air, soaring across the concrete before reaching a sharp halt and socking Corvo across his cheek, though leaving him open to assault from close-quarters.

    Lucario rolled: 1

While Lann's spell was certainly effective, shaving down much of the time that it would take Lucario to charge his beam, that didn't stop Stroheim from attempting to distract the bipedal canine with a healthy dose of skin cancer lasers.
Whilst the Nazi was wrestling up-close with Corvo, his robotic gaze lit upon the Pokémon as he preparing his deadly attack, firing off a hyper-condensed UV beam from his eye which tore through his front left paw in an attempt to halt the arming process.

    Maxwell rolled: 1

As was expected, Maxwell's mindless servants were ineffective, one of whom being caught by the leg mid-swing then promptly thrown towards the other, destroying both Shadow Duellers in the process. Despite this, however, Stroheim did not bother going after Maxwell, now having learned how easy it was to destroy his minions.

Baiken

Her walk towards the battle suddenly turns into a sprint. With most of the weapons seemingly destroyed and left with nothing but UV-based arsenal, Baiken immediately gets up to Stroheim before anyone else could notice. "Surprise, asshole!" She says before quickly drawing her sword and delivers a powerful slash right across the cyborg Nazi's body.

One of the warehouse windows burst open as Pink Guy got in on it - though just how he managed to do so and why remained rather unclear. What Pink Guy had not expected to find in his scavenging, however, was to find a shootout between an armed group and a Transformers® mecha Nazi popping shots in return. The Lyrcra scrambled for cover behind a strait of debris as a UV beam shot past his face.

Pink Guy found himself accompanied behind the rubble by an array of people with the same idea, the closest of which was a young woman dressed as a chicken, an aesthetic that almost made PG look somewhat normal in comparison.

ALEX MERCER

  • Train Station/Warehouse, 52 Northeast Grapevine Street

Alex simply scoffed as various weapons unfolded out of the cyborg's back. Weapons that would hardly have any effect on him. He had survived the combined firepower of an entire Marine battalion before, including tanks and attack helicopters. Those outdated World War II-era weapons of his were less than likely to do any lasting damage to the Monster of Manhattan himself. If he survived a nuclear detonation, then he was sure that
As the various people in the room began to attack Stroheim or whatever the hell he called himself, Mercer decided that it was his turn to strike. With a roar, he charged forwards, one arm held in front of his face as he shielded himself from the fired munitions. While the vast amount of projectiles travelling through the air would without a doubt have killed a normal human being, Alex was far from that. He was something far more. He continued forwards, practically wading through the wall of lead. Mercer sprinted forwards at breakneck speeds, spreading out his claws as he went in for a Dashing Slice.

Uncaring of the bee-stings of bullets impacting his body, Mercer lunged with his claws outstretched, almost like a jungle cat as he immediately began to unleash a flurry of lightning-fast slashes.

Hearing the somewhat inhumane and abnormal screams coming from besides her, she assumed that Lann or someone else near her had been hit, still cowering in 'fear'; her only vision coming from the birds on the girders above, she focuses the bird's vision on herself to see what exactly had happened.

Noticing the strange man in the pink costume who sat alongside her, apparently the one responsible for the screaming; she slowly takes her hands off of her head and looks up at Pink Guy, giving him a subtle look of confusion and disgust.
'Where did he come from and what the hell is he doing..?'

Learning from her experience in the Juuni Taisen, the weird abnormal freaks like Usagi, Warrior of the Rabbit tended to be some of the most dangerous and the strongest due to their unpredictability and nature of unconventional tactics. Not risking a swift death from an unknown assailant, she gets up and begins running, making a b-line across the warehouse, trying to find something else to hide behind.

Pink Guy's gaze followed the girl as she swiftly put a warehouse's distance between herself and him. Surely it was to be expected from a girl dressed as a chicken, and Pink Guy concluded that he had absolutely nothing to do with her bailing out.

"uhhhhuhhhhhhhhAAAAaaaaHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"
(("What a strange person. Nevertheless, I should remain focused on the task at hand"))

Resoundingly, Pink Guy burst from his cover and performed a series of surprisingly acrobatic flips, parries and rolls - along with the occasional breakdancing move - until he he was withing striking distance of Steampunk Hitler. To the best of his abilities, he struck out with a butterfly kick - quite a deblilitating attack, should it land.

Dark Jak

2-8_zpsd60b80ab.gif~original

Dark's fast and nimble body was about quick enough to avoid the barrage of bullets Frank was unleashing toward Stroheim and hopped on the cyborg Nazi's back and tried stabbing his long fingernails into the cyborg's body, along with a large barrage of dark eco streaming from his fingers.

It would be a wild ride from the backside and the creature would try to rip and tear anything he could off the man.

All hell began to break loose, Amelie lowering her rifle. She cocked her head the slightest, looking down upon the cluster of fighting and observed.
Her mind began to slowly turn like clockwork, strategizing. Some persons had already dealt some impressive blows, but that still wasn't enough to take down the German war machine.

Her daffodil gaze continued to flit across the battle scene, random people scattering or stepping up to face the Nazi.

Amelie then noticed the beast of a man strike Corvo. Furrowing her eyebrows, she thought it best to attack now. Everyone else was piling on like an irate hoard of bees, thus this would hopefully perplex the man and lower his defenses and succumb. She glanced back to her group once more to check if they were doing fine, before giving them a look and turning back to the scene.

A smirk began to dance across her lips, casting her grappling hook to the ceiling of the warehouse.
During her ascent, her Widows Kiss switched to automatic mode. Amelie began to swirl above him in an elegant display, showering bullets upon him with hardy features - making sure to avoid her supposed allies as well.
Reaching to the top, she hung there for a few moments and released her hook, causing her to plummet to the warehouse floor below.
Avoiding landing upon a peculiar pink man, she shot her grappling hook to another platform, spinning her way up to that.

Landing, Widows Kiss reverted to Scope mode, aiming at the flailing German.

lucario struggling.png

Lucario

Lucario was barely able to defend against Stroheim's UV light beam. He was able to tell that something was about to go wrong, sure, but the most he could do was absorb about half of his Aura Sphere's power into his right paw before his left paw was immediately torn through by Stroheim's attack. Lucario groaned as the injured paw fell to his side in pain.

Damn it, Lucario internally growled. I have to do something right now!

Because Lucario had absorbed his Aura Sphere into his right paw, it was glowing with slightly dim power. This would be enough to fracture a few bones in a human, Lucario nodded, looking back to his left paw and scowling. But he's not really human, after all... I need to make this count!

Lucario's legs still worked fine, thankfully. He jumped off of a crate, rolling off of his right side (but still putting his weight on his left side accidentally, causing him to muffle another groan) and changed his momentum into an all out sprint. He ran in a subtle right-and-left line, hoping Stroheim would do no more than a few grazes. As Lucario got closer, he planted his feet firmly on the ground. He turned on the balls of his feet as he rotated his entire body around, putting as much force into his right-pawed, boosted punch as possible, which was aimed right at Stroheim's temple. The success rate would hopefully be boosted by Tama and Lann's "Haste" spell. I have to thank them later... Lucario smiled as he followed through with his attack.

“Lann, look out!” Tama shouted in warning, pointing her paw off in the direction of his flank.

“Wha-gah!” The boy exclaimed in surprise as he saw a familiar looking girl in an admittedly cool mech suit charging straight at him. Unable to react quickly enough due to his focus on the battle prior, he could only brace his arms in front of himself, waiting for the metallic punch to send him into a world of pain.

Lann would be hit...except he didn't because Shilo had stopped Asuka from carrying forward her attack. As soon as she turned towards her, after listening to her, she was very close to crying, tears having already formed in her eyes, because she was now unsure of who to attack...again. She looked back towards Stroheim, who pulled out new weapons after his previous set of weapons had been destroyed, before looking Lucario and Maxwell, both of which were struggling, all the while she was hyperventilating. Then she turned back towards Agent Sage.

"Ich... Ich verstehe nicht! Du versuchst Schtwoheim zu schwagen, aber ich habe nicht verstanden, wawum! Du wirfst um das Wort 'Nazi' hewum, aber ich habe keine Ahnung, wawum dieses Wort der Gwund ist, wawrum du ihn angweifst! Ich dachte, er sei gut, das denkt ihr aw-we nicht! (I--I don't understand! You try hitting Stroheim, but I didn't quite get why! You throw around the word 'Nazi' but I have no idea why that word is why you attack him! I thought he was good, you all don't think that!)"

  • Woods was most certainly glad that he had managed to single-handedly destroy most (albeit not all) of Stroheim's weaponry- notably the gold cannon just a few moments ago- but the American didn’t have too much time to mull his actions over. Within what seemed to be a split-second, he was bashed in the face by a metal fist that seemed to carry the force of a sixteen-wheeler. With the sickening sound of bone cracking, the soldier was knocked backwards a few feet- almost unnaturally, he felt- before finding himself on his back. He groaned aloud, pulling himself up to his knees, before feeling at his face- his nose was bleeding, probably broken, and his jaw felt like it had snapped in two. But the weirdest part? They were both already starting to feel better- like they were healing up rapidly. The blue-eyed man voluntarily cracked his neck before grabbing at his M16A1 lying nearby- hell, at this point the nosebleed had completely stopped, and his jaw was half-way done shifting itself back to normal. He could definitely get used to this world if his “power” kept it up.

But he had different issues- everyone else wielding melee weapons was rushing the Nazi bot! The uncoordination would certainly lead to folks getting hit in “blue-on-blue” scenarios, and there was no telling how bad the friendly fire coulud be if folks with ranged attacks fired away from afar. He had to make sure he could minimalize the attacks!

"Everyone with ranged attacks-“ It sounded kinda funny to Frank, but once again he had to make sure everyone understood what he meant- “Cease fire! Let the others do the trick!" The Marine shouted at the others who weren’t trying to carve a sculpture into the robot, gritting his teeth as he himself backed off a little bit. The soldier himself fell back, pulling open the chamber to the M203 GL once more, and this time just letting the empty grenade canister fall to the ground. Since he himself was rendered nigh-useless in this scenario, he would have to instead keep watch over everyone else, try to coordinate the attacks of all the strangers.

The rifleman managed to put the stomach gun out of commission, but then got punched in the face with a flying fist. Corvo's first shot didn't do much, and only caused him to back away from a spray of bullets. However, his next shot hit a few feet away from the German, and the blast knocked him towards Corvo and opened up a spot on his collarbone. The assassin won't be able to act on that opening right now, though, as he got sucker punched right across the face. And when you are punched in the face by a cyborg Nazi with metal arms, it's gonna hurt. He nearly went down after stumbling a few feet and holding his cheek, but he was able to keep his balance. When he looked back, though, everyone started going in for melee. Well, not everyone, but the melee users for the most part.
The woman who kicked down the door from before ran up and slashed at Stroheim, while a nimble creature jumped on it's back, a man with claws for hands ran up and started slicing at the German, too. A blue woman began shooting, a guy in a pink suit kicked the robot, and finally some type of animal thing super-punched him. This was all so uncoordinated and dangerous, that someone is bound to hit another. Not only that, but he needed a moment to regain himself, as he just got punched by a robot. For that fact, Corvo didn't go in for an attack. So much was happening at that point he couldn't be sure whether someone would hit him. Instead, he fell back, and began thinking of a next move, as well as rubbing his jaw, a bone might have cracked from that punch. If only he had Sokolov's health elixir. "Go for the opening on his collarbone!" he yelled to the attackers, hoping they would listen.
Haz. Haz. @melee attackers because im too lazy to check all the names

"Fuel reserves refilled" CHEF speaks, beginning to move forwards once more, his mechanical body moving a predatory sense of purpose, far different from the tall, even steps he usually took. It was clear now he had seen too much danger to allow this to continue, and whatever program he had loaded was beginning to completely dominate him.

"P͠r͠ep̢a͏r̛ę ̡t̕o ̕ha̴ve y͝our ̛p̛ar̸ts ̷recla͠i̶méd͠!͠" he cries out, his voice module distorted slightly, as he leaps forwards, covering the last of the distance, his oven door flying open as another burst of blue flames begins to swell within, spilling heat out in front of him. "I will not allow you to endanger the lives of these people any longer!"

Haz. Haz.

The fight continued to grow more and more chaotic. Geralt watched in amazement as the group he was with wielded powers he'd never seen, even in his hundred years alive; he'd seen more powerful with Yennefer and Triss, but that wasn't the point. What were these people? His questions would have to wait, though, as he saw many, many of his new comrades in danger. He could only help one at a time, though, so he had to choose quickly. His head snapped to attention as Frank was knocked clean over by the man's somehow flying fist.

With his restored speed and agility, Geralt weaved through the crowd of ranged attackers, his movements like that of a cat, so graceful that he appeared to be dancing. First and foremost, he cast a single Quen glyph on Frank. It would only protect him from one hit, no matter how big or small, but the speed of the cast freed him up to keep fighting. Keeping his eye focused on the flying fist should it make another pass, Geralt let loose a concentrated beam of fire from his palm towards it, the Igni sign flashing in the air next to his outstretched hand. The fire itself was hot enough to partially melt steel within a couple seconds. Hopefully, that would damage it enough to take it out of commission. Through his snarl, he called out behind him to their opponent, "Is this all you've got? Come on!"

  • Pink Guy rolled: 5

Despite all odds, the legendary man in spandex slammed his heel against Stroheim's chin, disorienting the Nazi for the moment, though received an accidental foot to the stomach in return.

    Baiken rolled: 6

Just as Pink Guy delivered a simple and effective blow to the German, Baiken was easily given an opportunity to follow up with a deadly sword strike which slashed across the soldier's back, though came to an abrupt halt upon hitting part of her enemy's mechanical prostheses. With her weapon stuck in the guts of her opponent, Stroheim easily gripped the blade with his stiff, robotic hand and snapped it in two.

    Mercer rolled: 4

Through the chaos, Mercer's attack may have been the most consequential. Though he jabbed the Nazi a fair few times with his blind slashes, they were, regardless, blind slashes. The error in the monster's tactical decision resulted in him impaling Pink Guy and Baiken in their shoulders and lower torsos respectively, as they, too, struggled against the one-man German army, resulting in a bit of unwanted friendly fire.

    Jak rolled: 4

Jak viciously leapt onto Stroheim's back, clawing at his skin and metal alike. Though the Nazi did recoil and grunt in pain, stumbling about as his assailant tore through his flesh, it didn't take long before he successfully snatched the long-eared adventure's hand by the wrist and lobbed him a fair distance away.

    Lucario rolled: 2

Lucario's strike was fast and precise, so why didn't it hit? Though Stroheim was gravely injured from the excessive punishment he received from the others, his perseverance gave him the adrenaline rush he needed to keep fighting despite the pain. This resulted in him catching the Pokémon's fist with his mechanical palm, completely nullifying the energy-charged punch and enabling him to twist and sprain the canine's paw.

    CHEF rolled: 3

Now, Stroheim finally came at odds with an enemy machine, one much larger and likely more physically capable than him.
Did his technological inferiority dissuade him? Oh, it certainly didn't, in fact he hardly even chose to believe a walking Easy-Bake oven could challenge him.
The Nazi let out a cackle as he charged towards CHEF, ducking and diving out of the flame-spewing machine's fiery radius before leaping into the air and delivering a feisty, mechanical kick to his enemy's steel forehead.

    Widowmaker rolled: 3

While Widow's aim was certainly remarkable, Stroheim's ceaseless weaving and dodging made it far too difficult for her to land a successful shot, which resulted in a sub-par attack which only resulted in her penetrating CHEF's forearm and hitting Stroheim in his side, barely causing him to flinch.

Hearing the laughter of his enemy, something seemed to drive the machine into a frenzy, audible sparking could be heard within as servos overflowed with power, circuits overclocking themselves as the full extent of the UES Ingenuity Module showed itself, causing the machine to remain unmoving even as he leapt into the air to kick him, yet as the foot made contact, steely digits suddenly rose and aimed to grip the foot.

The mechanical cook sought to slam his foe into the ground, even as the flames from within his chest began to swirl more fiercely, a soft ding becoming audible as a small jet of air began to spray from the back of the oven, seeking to send a jet of scorching heat over the now hopefully prone Nazi.

Lucario

Lucario, for the first time in months, actually screamed in pain. He desperately kicked off of his feet from the floor, trying to get some distance from the German cyborg.

"E-EVERYONE BACK AWAY!" He stuttered, barely able to use his arms as he clumsily backflipped away. He had to contribute somehow, but his power was greatly drained from his usual self. Stroheim was way too close to CHEF for Lucario to actually aim a direct attack at him. The battle was a mess enough as is...

LAST STAND

Something clicked in Lucario's mind. In a moment's notice, all of his childness seemed to have disappeared. He realized what he was doing wrong -- he was destructively charging in against a person with fully disabled ranged weaponry, and was therefore hurting his team more than helping them. He realized that CHEF was a superior machine, and would probably benefit greatly from an extra distraction. Lucario used his backflip to form a tiny Aura Sphere over his foot. It was nowhere near as powerful as an Aura Sphere from his paws, and was probably useless other than creating a bit of smoke... but without any further hesitation, he kicked it at Stroheim, fully expecting it to do nothing except create a momentary window of opportunity for CHEF as a sort of smoke bomb. Lucario then fell to the ground on his back, yelping in pain again as he tried to turn onto his stomach.

Dark Jak felt himself going flying across the room at a momentous pace, and he needed to stop himself, fast before he left a beast size hole in the wall. Before he hit the wall, he was able to grab hold of the flooring with his claws, at least slowing down his impact, barely stopping before the wall.

The dark beast sniffed at Lucario before he stared hardly at Strohiem. The beast roared, the throwing of him only served to make him even madder and more dark eco lightning grow around his body.

Letting Chef burn the metal cyborg was great, but the beast moved on all fours, ready once again to attack Strohiem.

Inside, Jak was gritting his teeth that his allies were all getting overpowered, one by one.

So his shadows failed to land their strikes. That was fine by him, the cyborg didn't think he was worth the time which was an opprotunity to try something new. It seemed like the cyborg was being worn down, however he also saw that sometimes it was at the expense of others.
"Let me see if I can make this easier." Maxwell flipped through the Codex Umbra again as the remaining Shadow Duelist stood by defending him from any stray attacks. "Here it is." The magician traced over a page of a bunch of tentacles and began to read "Limum profundi et ligabunt te voco pecus hostem!"
The ground at the German soldier's feet would begin to rumble as four tentacles emerged from the ground, they lashed out violently and went to wrap themselves around the cyborg's arms and legs trying to keep them from moving "If that works targeting will be much easier for everyone." Maxwell smirked despite getting hit with a worse headache than before.
