Silvertongued

Yes, this is dog
The Pitch It's hard, brutal work being a mercenary. You live on the road, sleeping in tents and under the stars. You eat whatever cheap slop the Quartermaster can scrounge up. Your equipment is stolen from the dying and the dead. Death is a constant companion.

But you're free, beholden to no master save yourself. Your way in the world is paved with the strength in your legs, the skill in your arm, and whatever cunning you can manage. With that, and some likewise companions at your sides, you might just be able to work your way into a life of riches.

A game for 3-6 players in Crucible: Dark Age, where the player characters acting in, and running a mercenary company. The Company will start with only the player characters and basic equipment, but depending on the choices they make, and how well they perform in missions, they can improve the Company with more fighters, invest in equipment, devices, and training, even specialise the Company towards particular pursuits such as sieges, monster hunting, or raiding, among others.

General themes will be action and adventure, with a high probability of PC and NPC death.

Awesome, four interested folks. I'll get the thread up sometime in the next day or so.

Does anybody have any concepts already hashed out, or anything they think they'd like to explore or try out?

I'll wait and see, fill in any necessary gaps. May go Lore-monkey so if anything relatively standard comes up you won't have to dole out the info every time.

I'm interested, but if the party gets too full, I'm happy to bow out and let someone new have a jolly good go at it.
