• hey everyone! after completely bombing my orgo exam, i'm looking for new partners to cope. i'm art (she/her) and welcome to my interest check! i'm twenty years old and i'm back after a long hiatus. i like to think i'm a fairly descriptive writer and generally write about 4-5 paragraphs (~500 words) per post. i’ll be so real, i write at turtle speed unless i have HELLA muse for what we've plotted. if i'm excited for our rp, i will absolutely try to make more room for writing because i have terrible impulse control. still, please be patient with me. i'm a student tortured with particularly difficult classes (see: bombing my ochem exam) and i also work as an assistant researcher, so a lot of my time is dedicated to academics. however, i adore ooc discussion and i'm happy to talk outside of rp on discord! i'm much faster there, especially if you catch me at a good time. right now i'm on spring break, so i'm pretty responsive when i'm awake. i am okay with keeping communication on rpn, but you will probably get slower responses because i don't check this site nearly as much.
  
  to describe me a little more... as a person, i'm pretty unserious! i like to have fun with my roleplays. i really enjoy talking, headcanoning, making pinterest boards, and sending memes/tiktoks that remind me of our characters. i love partners who are equally as enthusiastic! i like to make a connection with whoever i'm writing with so if you're the quiet type, i'll be honest and say that we probably won't get along very well. with my characters, i like to use realistic faceclaims! i will add that a lot of my faceclaims are derived from kpop / asian media but i have absolutely no qualms with whatever you do.

  2. let's be friends! i find that my best rps have always been with partners i'm comfortable with. i love being able to talk to my rp partners, whether it be about the rp or other random matters. when it comes to the rp, i love making pinterest boards for characters and sending tiktoks that remind me of our ship. i adore gushing about characters and what we're writing so i'd love someone who can do that too. trust me, it'll really boost my muse and enthusiasm for the rp.
  
  3. i enjoy plot-heavy stories with lots of character development. please help me with contributing to the plot because i hate feeling like i'm speaking to a brick wall. please give me responses that are actually substantial instead of just saying "yes" to everything ooc.

  5. i'm not expecting a whole novel, but i'd appreciate if you could write roughly the same amount as i do. writing for me is mostly all for fun, so don't worry about being the next shakespeare though because i'm definitely not either.
  
  6. i'm very supportive of characters of all sexualities, gender identities, and ethnicities. i will not tolerate any bigotry.

• 01. i LOVE low cyberpunk settings so here's my thought. superhero x tech genius. where the superhero is rising in popularity and has some contract deal to work alongside the tech genius by basically advertising their company/wares on their gear. honestly i'd be fine with even changing it to villain x tech genius or something like that too. where the villain and tech genius have a similar goal they'd like to accomplish together. love evil people. truthfully i'd prefer to write the tech genius!
  
  02. something inspired by avatar: the last airbender or the legend of korra. i watched the live-action and yeah, was not the biggest fan of that, but it reignited my love for avatar enough. i don't have too many specific ideas here, but i'm happy to think about characters and dynamics to shape something together! oc x oc only, i don't write canon characters and don't enjoy shipping against them. this is a case where i'm fine with using art faceclaims!
  
  03. think something low fantasy for this one!! pirate captain x princess. where the princess really didn't like what was going on in her kingdom, escaped, and accidentally made her getaway on some pirate ship that is famously enemies with her country. OR... maybe the princess of a kingdom has some sort of ties to the kingdom's navy, decides to work with the pirates during a war. totally open to including some magical elements in this one.
  
  04. inspired by the poppy war trilogy, but you don't need to know about it. there are these people referred to as "shamans" who have a connection to a god from a fictional pantheon. shamans are able to harness their connection to the god in order to obtain magical powers. for example, someone with a connection to a fire god would be capable of manipulating fire. however, being a shaman is not so easy, as utilizing the god's powers comes with its own repercussions. for a shaman to communicate with their god, they must enter a "higher plain" — most commonly through the use of materials akin to drugs (ie poppy) or practiced meditation. shamanism is a dying art so it's very rare, even sometimes looked down upon in certain regions. however, their powers are so unique that they are very valuable in times of war. our characters are two shamans who could either work together or face opposite sides of a conflict.
  
  05. criminal duos. where one is distracting with the low-cut dress and the other is breaking into the vault. maybe they don't get along well but they do a damn good job with each other.
  
  06. international assassin x investigator. think killing eve for this. where there's a very charismatic assassin and an investigator is put on her case. the international assassin is kind of fond of the investigator and starts dropping little hints/clues and they start a cat and mouse game where they're both very intrigued by the other.
  
  07. twitch streamers. two girls who met from a twitch collab and hit it off really well?? and they had a super cute friendship that the fans love, they're kinda shipped by the fans and the normal jazz. one lives on the other side of the world and the other makes a surprise visit to see them. the feelings start to intensify.
  
  08. superpowers in the modern world, but NOT in the way that superheroes have them. our characters are not protecting the city and they're not supposed to be loud about the powers they have. think more that the government is utilizing these types of people in order to carry out top secret missions. they have their own governmental agency that people are very hush hush about. this idea is kind of inspired by the kdrama moving, where people also have consequences for their powers. for example, one character has the ability to float/fly, but has to wear heavy weights because he doesn't know how to control his powers. i'd love playing around with superpowers being a double-edged sword!
  
  09. cute childhood friends dynamic. i'm thinking very specific sort of sappy kdrama vibes for this. if you know of nevertheless, that is a good reference. basically some girls who were super close, always each other's ride or dies. one moves away during high school, but years in the future they end up transferring to the same university as the muse who never left. they have some random chance encounter and are super excited to see each other again. if we want an angstier route and drama, maybe one of them completely changed in the time that passed, or maybe one of them is already in a relationship while the other has been hopelessly pining for years. we can discuss it more!
