Princess Pierce
Unlike Courtney, she didn't have those "non fly days" that she always seemed so frustrated about. Whenever she did her quick Sailor Moon thing, Pierce's appearance and hair changed, almost as if she was glowing. So there were always viral articles on the internet about Pierce not looking the same as how she looked without her powers. Some Tumblr articles suggested that most of her photos were photoshopped or that the elf was giving women unrealistic beauty expectations even though it was purely due to the whole source of power she needed to fight. It was quite ridiculous, if you asked her. Well, if you're taking beauty advice from an elf and not another human being, then something is obviously wrong with you. That didn't stop the paparazzi from taking pictures or asking rather invasive questions. Being one of the friendlier members of the crew, she was the one with all the questions thrown at her. Every time, Pierce would just blush and say a single sentence, then leave. It wasn't much, but it was certainly better than getting your ass kicked by a group of powerful superheroes.
She had also seen Millarca drinking blood out of a bag and not out of a neck. Something she could sigh in relief for, but before Lia could express her relief, Courtney pinched both her cheeks and cooed at her, eliciting a perplexed look by the small elf. The silver haired girl then blushed as if she had kissed her, flushing a rosy pink that stood out due to her pale complexion. You see, elf culture is much like Asian or Russian cultures in the way that they weren't very showy with their affection even though it was known. So a kiss or even a hug could make the poor little archer turn to stone. A rosy pink stone. The pendant glowed in a calming aura, almost telling Pierce to cool down and focus on the mission. Jesus, Aurelia, it wasn't like she kissed you or anything! She cursed herself.
You see, Aurelia is the type of person that whenever they feel tired or sad, they're rather good at hiding or denying it until they begin to crack. She wasn't close to cracking but chances are, she'd probably sneak a nap or two on the hovercraft since no one would trust an elf from another world to fly a modern human contraption. At least, not fully take flight control of it. Pierce followed after Raj, letting the chills night sky brush against her skin, her hair and her not-so-covered-up outfits. Truly, Lucerna was the only guardian angel she needed, keeping her from getting cold and staying stylish. If only she helped out consistently in other battles...
The elf sat in the passenger seat, as she always did, tilting her head inquisitively as Courtney went on her little spiel about aliens. "Captured people? For what purpose, did they state?" Aurelia asked. Courtney, she knew, wasn't a fan of magic, so maybe aliens provided a scifi way of mixing it up every once in a while. Not that having aliens from another planet capture you would be fun by any means. "How many are there? Are they after our brains like everyone told me before?"
Alice Liddell
As Alice waited for a response from Marionetta, her piercing emerald eyes saw through the puppet's soul, or lack of none, in a cold gaze. She noticed that Gallie's hands were suddenly laced around her own. Out of comfort and reflex, the thin girl firmly responded to her by lacing her own, squeezing lightly. It was quite easy to trust someone like Gallie. It was a common occurrence that whenever Alice was angry or sad, that she would hold her hand tightly to signify needing her support, it was her own little way of love. It wasn't an outward statement of her feelings, but for now, this was a serious time in her life so sweet nothings or flowery fluff wouldn't be in her character. Finally, why she hadn't thought of escaping her jailed and instituted lifestyle she didn't quite know. Maybe it was because it was all she ever knew, ever since that horrid fire back in England.
The children, as rude and as abusive as they may be, no one in any institute she'd been in had the heart to even think about escaping, not even the staff. In fact, there had been many a time when Alice had thought of just throwing her medications out of her desolate iron barred windows and blamed the therapy for making her insane. Besides, it wasn't like the doctors she'd come across would ever tell her that Alice was the only one that could control her sanity. On the bright side, since most people thought her powers were derived from insanity and not her actual superpower, the guards and other head staff seemed to leave her alone as long as her hallucinations weren't harmful. Once Alice got out of jail, the first thing she would do is cut off therapy to save much needed money from her inheritance. In a perfect world, Blinded would be alongside her, experiencing all these new experiences with her. But the world is far from perfect. There was still one saving grace in the form of thought; at least Alice had a chance. A fucking chance.
Hearing Marionetta finally respond brought inward motivation to her seemingly cold stare, not that she would ever let her know. "I'm out for being on the third floor... The charms don't let me hurt people as good as I can change my appearance~" She stood up, letting go of her hand. There was also another reason why she couldn't go into the third floor other than the charms stopping her harmful powers, it was the church. As stupid as that sounds, the church near in her cell scared her. In fact, magical beings that derived power from a god or from opposing a god, in her opinion, was much more dangerous than her own sanity. Responding nonchalantly seemed like the best way to go for now. Alice then crossed her arms to continue, sitting on the table defiantly instead of in a chair. Ignoring Marionetta's strange pop culture references was what Alice did once the puppet continued into her plan. Sooner or later, she'll find out what those words meant eventually.
"I know where the confiscated equipment is. The doctors here are actually stupid enough to test me in the same rooms." That was when the alarm rang. Alice didn't even hesitate or flinch in the slightest, walking over to the stairway onto the second floor. "Looks like this is the way back to rehab sessions." She stated rather cynically, referring to the rehabilitation rooms on the second floor where the Supers, aliens and mutants resided. It was the only way she knew how to get to the second floor since Alice never bothered with the other stairwells to try and release the inmates.
