Personality:

Yuki is often seen as the typical class clown, uncaring for school and just wanting to have fun, however there is more to him than the stereotype he embodies. He is fiercely loyal to his friends, and will do anything for those he loves. He is actually a very scared kid but masks his anxiety with laughter and jokes in order to fit in. He isn't the best student. He sucks at Math, Science, English, Japanese and Chinese but loves history, storytelling, art and is a very creative student. He excels in all areas relating to creativity but his family doesn't deem this as a good thing. He's not athletic and often is the butt of all the jokes for being small and thin. He tolerates this. It's better being seen as a joke than as the mess you really are. He wants to be friends with everyone but is a pushover when it comes to bullies. They use him to get what they want and he gets the blame as the poor kid with bad grades. He hasn't lost the Photography Club because he is the only one dedicated enough to it to keep it going. Teachers also think it's the only thing keeping him afloat and they're right. At the end of the day, Yuki is a ball of energetic joy, a great friend, always there for people but is hiding pain on the inside. He deserves honest unconditional love, something he never received.

Background Information:

Being from a poorer family, Yuki was pressured from a young age to do well in school. This immense pressure from his father was incredibly damaging to Yuki throughout the years plus his mother was always busy and so he grew up fast. His hobbies which included things like art, photography and filmmaking always came third to school and family. When it came to his family, they would always go on cheap getaways where they could and took shitty pictures on disposable cameras to try and show people that they were a normal, functional family. Yuki didn't like showing off a false persona for other people. He often stole the disposable cameras to take cooler, better, more arty pictures. His family didn't like his hobbies and made him focus on school even more.



Until middle school, all he knew was school. Once high school rolled around he managed to get into Hokkido High away from his friends and family. This was the final straw. He didn't want to try hard anymore. He had dreams, he had feelings. He didn't want to be a robot purely to appease his father. He threw himself into his hobbies, and really got into photography again. Instead of his studies and ended up becoming the leader of the Photography club. Not only this but over the recent school break that he has discovered that he is in fact bisexual. He is incredibly afraid of what would happen if he was to be outed as such and if there is anyone who would hurt him because of his sexual orientation. He already comes from a difficult family background. If his home away from home is compromised, he is unsure if hell be able to make it through school at all. He has started to put up a façade and only show people the happy, bubbly side of him. He doesn't want to crack around others. There have also been doubts from teachers surrounding him due to his bad grades but he is great with people, has a creative eye and knows how to make photography interesting.



He now dreams of going to university for Photography but with his family constantly against him, his grades in the toilet, his new found sexuality and wanting to hide his true self from others, will he be able to follow his dream?

Personality
Yukari is an ambivert, while she prefers the company of her best friends the most, she is also not shy when it comes to interacting with others, especially a crowd. She’s hardworking and people would often find her working on her homework, club activities, and her duties as the Student Council President. Some people would assume that she’s uptight, but it’s quite the opposite. Though she may be a follower of the rules, it doesn’t mean that she strictly adheres to it.

She loves acting, the idea of playing someone that is not herself is enticing. That she can be a completely different person even for just a moment and escape reality is also her way of coping when life gets hard. She also loves food, even more so when it’s free, eagerly awaiting food when her friends come over. When under stress, people would often see Yukari eating sweet foods of any kind. She’s quite friendly in nature but she tends to keep her feelings and emotions to herself, not wanting others to see her vulnerable.

Yukari, though she doesn’t seem to get angry a lot, tends to hold grudges. She may act cordially to those people but that doesn’t mean she likes staying by their presence. It also goes hand in hand with her bottling her emotions, at times she can also seem distant. It happens when she feels an overwhelming anger and/or sadness, opting to shut down.

Background Information
Life was not particularly in favor of Yukari. As a kid, she and her family went through a lot when it came to their finances, as a frequently sick child she is often brought to a hospital and had to take a lot of medicines and both of those don't come cheap which left her parents in a constant struggle with trying to make ends meet.

Yukari learned to grow up fast, she was smart enough to know that her parents were having a hard time with their money, so she behaves herself and does her best not to get into trouble. Taking care of her younger siblings, ignoring the bullying directed at her sickly and stuttering state. So long as she made her parents happy with her grades, she didn't care. Besides, she had Makiko and Mimori with her.

While her academic performance can lead to various opportunities in future jobs pertaining to technology, medicine, engineering, or law, Yukari has dreams of becoming an Actress. She has long told her parents and while it was not their expected dream job for her to have, they were supportive of it. So long as she lives her life to the fullest, they do not mind. When they have extra money for the year, they’d treat her to the movies or the local theater.

But even with those dreams, her family felt like her own obligation and has her doubting what she wants for something more practical. At some point during her first year of high school, she found out that she was attracted to women. It took her a while to fully accept it herself, being born to a religious household, especially when both of her parents were outspoken on their disapproval of the LGBT community. It’s a secret she hasn’t even told to her best friends and left her painfully keeping it a secret because she doesn’t have Mimori’s courage to let everyone know.

Makiko's personality is akin to flames- fiery, raw, and unpredictable. One moment she'd be charming and cordial then the next she'd act like she was plotting your indefinite vacation to the bottom of the Pacific. Aggressive and competitive, Makiko loathes losing and always strives for perfection (unless it's something related to academics; she has long accepted that it wasn't the field for her). As someone who was spoiled all her life, she's unused to not getting what she wants and is very prone to overreacting over such matter.

Despite being such a diva, Makiko is fiercely loyal and caring (which she shows in her unique way) to those that she's genuinely close with. She shows affection by spending huge amount of money for someone and letting them experience the material luxury of life.

Ohno Makiko is the only child of business tycoons Ohno Hiroshi and Yua, especially known for their automobile company. Born from an overwhelmingly affluent family, it should be no surprise that Makiko's been spoiled to the core from the get-go. Whatever material things she needed or wanted, she'd get it in a snap. That said, she didn't have any complicated relationship with her family either. Her parents, despite their busy schedule, never made her feel neglected. In fact, they would bring her whenever they have oversea endeavors, making each one seem like a family vacation instead.

Of course, all these good stuff had a couple of effects in her growth. For one, Makiko was considered larger than the average Japanese kids her age. This led to her attracting unwanted attention from other children- "miss piggy" as they often called her. However, Makiko being Makiko refused to show any vulnerabilities to her bullies and instead fought bullying with roughhousing. The number of kids she had bellyflopped all those years ago can't be counted in two hands. Still, all these had a silver lining; it led to her meeting her sisters-in-soul, Mimori and Yukari!

Makiko found her passion early in life. Theater. While she was absolutely horrendous at anything academics (thanks to her frequent absences and innate dislike for studying), there was one thing she was undeniably good at- performing. Be it singing, dancing, or acting; this girl got it all! "I was born to be a star, duh!" A line that anyone would hear so long as they spent at least an hour with the diva.

Makiko spent the summer of the end of their middle school 'til the summer of their first year in high school abroad. During that year, there was zero post in her social medias and nobody from Japan had seen her whatsoever. That's why everybody was in for a shock when she returned with the physique of a supermodel. From then on, she progressively gained fame and recognition.

When you ask people who Mimori is, there's always one common denominator — she is loud. Cheery, friendly, and outgoing, she always has something to say about any topic. She's a bundle of pure, unrestrained energy which often results in her practically always on the go. She's always willing to try new things as long as she finds the idea enjoyable or if she's convinced that her friends want to try it for the sake of just trying it. There are very few things that Mimori isn't willing to do; as long as it's harmless to the people around her, she's more than happy to try.

She rarely backs down from challenges given to her even if she couldn't do it. It's a matter of pride and showing people that they're wrong. Getting her to admit defeat is reserved for a very limited pool of people. Mimori also isn't afraid to get into fights with others, whether for herself or for her friends it doesn't matter. She's opinionated and isn't afraid to speak it out to the world.

Mimori thrives when she's surrounded by people, seemingly getting energy from interactions with others. Oftentimes, she can be found inviting her classmates or sometimes even people outside of class to karaoke or parties or whatever strikes her fancy for the day. If there's someone in the school who knows a person, Mimori is likely going to be the person you're going to. She's usually willing to help, as long as you promise she can cash in a favor afterward.

Mimori's childhood consisted heavily of watching her parents leave for days on end with just a maid left behind to make sure she didn't die of starvation. As soon as she was old enough to take care of herself, they didn't hire any maids. Mimori didn't mind. She's heard of the stories before. Her friends' parents were always so restrictive and they couldn't do what they wanted. To her? Her parents let her do whatever she wanted as long as she maintained a decent score in school. For the most part, Mimori did. Average in terms of grades from pre-school to high school, Mimori's fame didn't come from grades but rather her outgoing nature.

Maybe it was because she disliked going back to an empty house or maybe it was natural, but Mimori just found herself attracted to speaking with other people. She surrounded herself with her classmates, rarely feeling the need to slot herself in just one clique, and speaks with everyone regardless of social position. The nagging feeling of loneliness isn't something she was fond of seeing in other people. Eventually, she was known for opening up chances for people to meet and speak with each other, bringing people together in the name of fun.

Though, her life wasn't always just sunshine and rainbows. With her parental situation rather well known (her parents' stark absence was noted very early on), anyone who wanted to get a rise out of her used it against her. Long story short, Mimori was a pretty violent kid— in between attempting to quell the bullies against her friends and her own, she's been known to fight, physically if needed. She would have left this all in elementary school but the social backlash she got from coming out with her sexuality caused a different type of discrimination. Her tongue grew sharper when she grew up due to this. With how unabashedly herself she always was, people gradually started to tolerate her... kind of.

Mimori's skill in speaking and socialization did not go unnoticed by the school. Her English teacher had been the one to recommend for her to go and join competitions for English speeches. At first, she stuttered and failed but soon gained confidence on the stage. It had taken a while for her to win but she ended up taking the medal back to the school for a national competition. Aside from that, Mimori followed her friends into the theater club to try it out. She had been a performer at first before dropping to become part of tech. Through hard work and perseverance, she had eventually gotten to a higher position in the club as their technical director— something she prided herself over.

Erika Liu is described as a reserved individual who thrives off of zero attention focused on her. Because of her known affiliation with her father's involvement in the declining Yakuza, she'd rather not have herself be the subject of many talks. Curt, Erika says what she needs to say in a blunt manner as to lessen any need for elaboration and further misunderstandings if possible.

If one paid more attention to her personality rather than her background, they would be able to tell she's one of the laziest people they've ever met. No need for her to actually be there? You don't have to tell her, she already knows. However, she tends to open up a bit more to people she sees as trustworthy. To her friends, she's just the lazy, rude (at times) and secretly clingy friend.

Though she doesn't admit it, she's rather introverted and prefer sticking to people she already knows. Otherwise, she might call their departure a dramatic abandonment. So if anyone plans to get close to Erika, be mindful she'll probably need you to make the first step. After all, she wouldn't want anyone screaming Yakuza at her.

Erika Liu was born into a family of Yakuza members on her father's side. Unlike many preconceived notions upheld by virtually everyone, her father's family's involvement with the Yakuza doesn't involve unnecessary murder, street fights, car chases and drug kingpins from all over Japan. His family's Yakuza clan is a subsidiary from one of the largest Yakuza families in Japan.

The subsidiary was created a long time ago as its members believed the way of the Yakuza should evolve as the world is, eradicating the existing 'organised crime' image of unnecessary violence to imposing such violence as a necessary means to aid, partake and/or enable those who need it. But of course, not everyone in society accepts that change and not every other Yakuza family adopts such thinking.

As such, growing up, Erika has had difficulty in school as various parents rejected the idea of their fellow children being affiliated in any way to the daughter of a Yakuza member. Because of this, Erika has had to transfer school several times up until Hokkido, in which other students of the prestigious school have parents who have slightly more questionable careers as well.

Itsu is the definition of a softboi. Soft in nature and always smiling, you will almost never find him with a frown on his face. His most known trait would be his patience as years of living with his grandmother alongside learning to cook has taught him rushing something that wills the course of time is not viable.

Motherly, some might call him naggy at times but he's generally pleasant to talk to. That is, until some brings up his boy-face complex. Responsible, he is seen in many leadership roles as he tend to uptake tasks of this nature. Though, because of this, he can sometimes be seen as someone who is used as a doormat.

To his friends, he can be called naive as he tries not to sweat the hard stuff. Though, of course, he knows the difference between a platonic and a romantic relationship. He's not that ignorant. Or well, he doesn't think he is.

Itsuo Okada was born into an average family. His parents had stable jobs, lived comfortable enough to feed his and their mouths alongside being able to take the occasional trip down to Osaka. However, he wouldn't say it was the same for his parents' relationship.

At the age of ten, Itsu's parents divorced and he was made to move in with his mother and his grandmother. As such, growing up, his mother was the sole breadwinner for their household while Itsu's grandmother taught him how to help his mother by running a household. Because of this, he grew up in a very domesticated manner and wishes to pursue culinary in the future.
