Realistic or Modern Leaving the Zone [Post-Zombie] [Squad RP]

Roleplay Availability
Roleplay Type(s)

This is intended to be a realistic post-apocalyptic roleplay, where the players are soldiers from a military refugee camp that has continued to operate 500+ days after the infection began.

The decisions your characters make in this roleplay may directly affect the refugee camp, which is being managed in another thread by a player acting as its commanding officer.

The other thread is more strategically-based, while this roleplay would focus on a group of that player's soldiers on the ground as they attempt complete an objective. Some characters will likely die during this roleplay, but it is dependent on what choices the squad makes.

The Infection ? The Provincial Map

WbETG9n.png

It's been over five hundred days since the Jasper River Contagion surfaced. It was a pathogen that contaminated the water supply and swept across the nation. Society descended into a burning, bloody ruin as the authorities were overrun by millions of freaks who contracted the infection from the water, or from just getting puked on by other freaks.

The Central Republic had crumbled. Your life was irreparably fucked up, but at least you survived.

You were a soldier in the
Civil Guard, the Central Republic's homeland military forces. You and your battalion tried to rescue as many civilians as possible, and although many lives were saved, it was far below the original estimation. You had to pull back when the infected finally overran the countryside.

Your battalion lost quite a few men, but those that remained took the evacuees to the Buttermilk Refugee Camp, located near Melville. Here, you have remained for over a year, living off of emergency rations and shitting in an outhouse.

Your battalion's commanding officer died yesterday, so Major Blythe took charge of the camp. He's sending you and your squad to finally scout out the Emory Refugee Camp, which lost communication months ago. All you know is that most of the freaks have died off at this point.

But not all of them.

Blythe hasn't dispatched any troops just yet, it'll start when they leave.
