Veronica often times thinks she is a terrible and awful person when it comes to making comments about someone or a certain subject. She is very blunt towards most people and is not afraid to throw her two cents in at any given time. She definitely takes up after her mother really well when it comes to making quirky and witty remarks toward others and she often shows that side of her every chance she gets. Veronica likes getting into witty banters with other people as she just wants to really see how quick-witted other people are and if they can hang with her in that area. Most people think that she is being sarcastic towards them but no, she is really just naturally sassy. Again, from her mother along with her being naive.

The only trait she'd say that she really got from her father would be her loyalty. She is very loyal towards people she befriends and her friends can give you the same input on that subject, as well. She is very loyal to some of the other members of Dennings high even though she has friends outside of the academy, as well. Anyone that steps up to her friends will also have her to deal with and it is not a pretty sight to witness.

Overall, if you like someone of Veronica's traits then she is definitely the friend that you need to have around. She is ultimately friendly, or tries to be toward others, and will befriend almost anyone. If she doesn't befriend you then she'll definitely not hesitate to rip you to shreds with her snarky words. Even though most people do not know it, she is quite intelligent and shows it off often, too.

Growing up, Veronica was daddy's little girl. If her mother refused to get her anything, she knew that all she had to do was bat her lashes at her daddy and she had it within an instant. She came a year after her brother, so things weren't really the best between the duo as Tristan felt his spotlight was upstaged slightly by her presence. They always fought and their parents suddenly grew tired of it and started punishing them. That's when she and her brother reached a compromise to become the inseparable duo that they are today.

Veronica cut off her friends that brought her popularity down, even if she was extremely close to them. After middle school graduation, it was when she and artem became a dynamic duo and was dubbed the golden girls. it was even artem who got veronica on the soccer team ⎯ a decision that she regrets today because she's far from athletic.

today, veronica is still a golden girl alongside artem and they are quite popular amongst their crowd. she wouldn't change anything in the world to change that.

    Artem is a twin that has recently been depressed ever since her twin, Averie, was diagnosed with Cancer. The two used to be inseparable and had their own distinct roles to play. Artem was the athletic one, the captain of the soccer team and competitive as hell. Averie was who she went to for fashion and boy advice, but now she feels like she can't bother her. Artem's style has changed significantly in the past two years, going for a more muted color palette instead of bright, fun ones like before.

    While she's still competitive and loves the idea of all things sports and competition, Artem barely has the heart to continue soccer since her stay in the psych ward, but her parents think it's a good distraction. She doesn't want anyone seeing her scars or asking questions about why she's been away for so long. Artem is still Larson High's golden girl though, whether she wants the spot or not. She likes having the attention as it gives her something to focus on other than the empty space her sister will inevitably leave. Thankfully though, she does have a great support system in her best friend Ronni, which gives her a cushion of comfort when she needs it.

One of the stars of the soccer team and hoping to be captain next year, Artem has a school full of cheerleaders that support her and her team all the way to the state championships every year. Though Artem isn't as into soccer as she has been in the past, the girl still loves the sport and welcomes the distraction from what's really going on in her life.

Although it's hard on her sister, Artem has always struggled with mental health and now this is only making it worse.     Now with medication and weekly therapy, Artem is doing better mentally and physically. Though she doesn't eat as much as she should, she's trying to do better by herself. Her therapist has also suggested she set future goals that she can accomplish, one of which being attending UCLA in two years.

Vasiliy was born and “raised” in Tuva, Russia to a very dysfunctional family. His mother, to her despair, had to run away from home when Vasiliy was four to escape the abuse she was facing. She had to leave him behind due to threats from his father. Despite his rough childhood, he found ways to keep himself happy. Vasiliy loved hiking the steppes with his friends, messing with his computer and partying. He got in a lot of trouble back at home, frequently getting suspended for fights and keeping away from the police.





Going 2 America






After a seriously traumatic event at 14, and a longing to get out of his city of Kyzyl, Vasiliy began working hard in school to submit his application to be an exchange student in America. After keeping his grades up and learning to speak English, his application was accepted to go to Dennings High in Larson, VA for high school.. His father was glad to be rid of Vasiliy, and Vas couldn’t be happier to be off to a new country. Going from rural Siberia to an American city was a huge culture shock, but one he embraced. By acting as reckless as always.

As a child, Blake was blessed with a loving father who doted on her every second of every day. Her mother would have too, her father told her, if she hadn't passed during childbirth. Blake always felt somewhat responsible for her mother's death, not that she'd ever tell her father, but it was always on the back of her mind. Still, she lived a lavish life that any child would be lucky to have. Gifts and treats were a regular surprise that Blake came to love and even expect, what she wasn't expecting was the surprise that came when she was eleven.

It was just a few weeks after her birthday when her father came home from work with a woman and her two children, a boy and a girl. For a moment, Blake thought she'd be working in the large home, however that idea was squashed the moment the word 'step-mother' came out of her father's mouth. Blake ran to her room, feeling heartbroken at the idea of replacing her own mother. Her father though promised that Kristine was a wonderful woman and would treat her as her own.

Blake did indeed believe her father, he'd never led her astray before so why would he now? The only problem came when he fell ill. Paul Athens died on the day of his daughter's twelfth birthday, leaving a mourning child and a newly rich widow. It didn't take long for Blake to realize what her life was going to be like from then on, Kristine stopped the nice act and quickly shifted gears into a mix of every generic evil step-mother from ever fairy tale. Blake simply had to deal with it, otherwise she'd end up on the street.

When high school came around and she began maturing, her step-brother began flirting with her in the creepiest ways possible. He'd leave small gifts on her bed that were undoubtedly bought with her father's money and had become extremely touchy with her. Soon enough, Blake learned to lock her door and hide the key in the bedroom with her. Her step-sister, Brooke, wasn't the brightest bulb of the bunch and while she tried to intimidate and bully Blake, her insults usually didn't land.

Now as a sophomore at Dennings High, Blake does her best to stay away from her step-siblings while there. All she has is her best friend, (NEED) and her hopes of getting the fuck out of Larson to pursue her dream of becoming a songwriter... Well, if she can ever get over her stage fright.

Surprisingly, Anika was raised by go-with-the-flow parents who cared more about their kids' wellbeing than their school performance. As a child she was much like others her age: she loved playing outside and being with her friends. It was in middle school, when grades became a competition and honor roll was introduced that Anika decided she wanted to be the best. She insisted on taking piano lessons, volunteering at the animal shelter, and joining the volleyball team, all for the end goal of beefing up her college applications.

In sophomore year Anika got her first boyfriend. She was too smitten with him to see how controlling he really was: wanting to know where she was at all times, showing up at her house unannounced, and snooping through her phone. All that she could tolerate, poor naïve girl, but one night he started getting handsy while they were kissing. The ensuing fight was brutal: she got a minor concussion and he got a broken wrist.

Dixie while having been born in Larson didn't get to see her hometown till she was in her early teens. Her family situation well wasn't the best at birth. Her mother and Father never really got along, having Dixie at the age of 16 neither of her parents were ready for this. hell her father still lived at the ranch with her grandfather and her mother wasn't in the best situation. constantly fighting and never mature enough to handle things well in or out of court. Sadly for her Father he didn't have long with her before Dixie's mother up and left with her. Taking Dixie all the way down to Texas. Growing up Dixie never knew her father or his side of the family, didn't even know she wasn't from Texas as her mother scaped by with her childhood. Mostly cause Claire's mom was on drugs or not at home. Dixie had to grow up fast if she wanted to survive. It was hard really through her childhood, her mom was rarely around and when she was the woman was high or uncaring for the daughter she took from Virginia. It wasn't all bad though at least when Dixie's mom wasn't around her grandparents stepped up and cared for her, trying to give her a good life on their small Texan wheat farm. Sending her to school and trying to keep her mothers bad decisions out of Dixie's life.

Until of course she hit the age of 12. It was two days after her birthday when her mother came home higher than normal and in a craze. Babbling how Dixie's dad was coming to kill her and take Dixie back as she frantically packed their things despite her parents protests. Before Dixie knew it they were on the highway in a high speed chase through Texas. When it finally ended 90 miles later and a tank of empty gas Dixie was abandoned, Her mother having ditched the car and her daughter to run.


Virginia homebound



It wasn't long after the incident that Dixie found herself on a trip to Virginia, having been taken into child services after her mothers car chase they found Dixies father who happily would take her and off she was from her small town in Texas to her new small town in Virginia. her father in the time since her mother had taken Dixie away had taken over his parents horse and cattle ranch. Dixies grandfather and grandmother being to young to take care of it any more. he remarried to a woman named Charlie and also had a son they named Jack. It was different at first to say the least, being thrust into this new family despite how happily they took Dixie in. She struggled for the first few years until Dixie hit a breaking point and nearly ran away to search for her mother and try to bring her back. Charlie her step mother despite having not been accepted by Dixie was the first of her family that the girl accepted after she chased after Dixie to bring her home.

Nathaniel and Annette Ronan created a cozy life by the time their fourth child came to the world. Nate was carving a name for himself as a surgeon while Annette pushed for her passions as a art museum curator. In Charlotte, North Carolina, they have a beautiful house that was passed down through Nettie's family where they decided the lucky number 7 would complete their family.

Kenzie's life in Charlotte was cushy but not one without woes as his parents noticed the way he gravitated towards "boy" things. Kenzie was always a "Daddy's Girl" and always wanted to do everything with his dad. At the age of 6, Kenzie mentioned "wishing she was a boy" and the path was set forth. He was lucky to be born in a family that loved him no matter what and even more so that the young kid had the connections to even get access to hormone blockers and eventually hormone replacement therapy. It was set midway through Kenzie's 1st grade year that he was now a boy and he made sure everyone in class knew it!

Elementary school was fairly easy. Most kids always said he dressed like one anyways and "girls having short hair" was now a popular demand to ask parents. Of course, the adults in the room had other opinions and made things difficult. First, Kenzie's teacher refused to have address him with the right pronouns and forcing him to stay in the girls line. Later, other parents would demand answers on why their cute daughters wanted their hair cut like a boy "like Kenzie" so the teacher requested Kenzie to move classes entirely because of "religious reasons". It was the first time Kenzie realized being different wasn't a good thing.


The Move to Larson



Kenzie was always teased on the playground now that his teacher ostracized him. He stayed quiet the most part and sometimes his 1st grade teacher regrets what she did. In middle school, things got rougher. The teasing turned into physical altercations that Kenzie tried to keep a secret until his older sister witnessed it. "Three against one is not a fair fight at all." Sarah would have kicked their asses if there wasn't a 15 foot fence in the way. Together, the siblings told their parents and Nate and Nettie had to decide what would be the next step to keep their Kenzie safe.

For the rest of 6th grade, Kenzie was homeschooled by his eldest sister Suzanna, who was studying to become a teacher already. It sucked losing all his friends but he was fortunate to not know the rumors about his "disappearance". His dad was always away and his mom always frazzled and leaned hard on the two oldest girls to maintain the house, Sarah and Kenzie was starting to speculate maybe... Divorce. They were very wrong. Instead, on Christmas morning, the whole family found out Nate secured a high titled position out in Virginia and Nettie found the perfect place to call their home. Suzanne was gifted the current house, Fiona was gifted her mom's car, and Kenzie was gifted knowing he could go back to "normal" school and approved to start taking different medication for transitioning. The three little ones Rachel, Daniella, and Courtney were too distracted by toys to really think of the weight of the move while Sarah was the only one sour about the move.


Dennings High School



Moving to Larson, Virginia was a breeze but the damage in Charlotte was enough to have lingering effects. Kenzie was a quiet kid going into 9th grade. He was the new boy in town and he found eyes on him and his family often. Here the rumors went around fast and it wasn't long until Kenzie heard about his older sister's trouble in Dennings High. Sarah hated this town as a self-proclaimed "city girl" and all eyes fell onto her instead of the quiet boy who could pitch pretty good for his age. Freshman year, Kenzie was one of two kids who got into the baseball team even though he wasn't much of a talker. His sister now a senior already gave him a reputation with teachers going in although he soared through homework in class and eventually transferring up to honors courses. He was just the weird quiet kid who liked anime while his older sister was trouble with a capital T.

Spring of that year, Sarah ran away and took a train to New York City. It shook the whole Ronan family although reputation wasn't something they really cared for. She was gone for three weeks when her clever spending habits finally needed to take her back home. Hugs and tears of relief welcomed her back and things started to get better. Now Kenzie was in the spotlight of his peers. "What happen to your sister?" "I heard she was taken like in... Taken." It was the first time ever Kenzie was really noticed and he did not do well with the spotlight. He ended up punching an emo kid in the face and holding him down until he apologized. Sarah was very very proud of him that day.

    Calliope's life has been spent on the sidelines, and she doesn't really mind it. It means she can people-watch without the people paying her much mind or getting uncomfortable. Admittedly, knowing as much as she does about her peers, even the ones she's never directly interacted with, has lead to some awkward conversations. It had been a quiet childhood, lonely at times, but she had nothing to complain about for the first ten years. They were comfortable and happy most days. Though her mother had been a stay-at-home wife, she was rather uninvolved in her youngest child's upbringing. Calli always supposed the shock of her existence never fully wore off for her mother. She quickly learned how to keep herself busy and invisible. In her father's eyes, Calliope was nothing short of a miracle. He noticed his wife's lack of interest in their daughter and took it upon himself to retire early in order to dedicate himself to her.

    Admittedly, this caused immense stress to her parents' marriage, and it's something her mother has never let Calliope forget.

    Her father's death came as a surprise only to her. He had been in relatively poor health since she was seven, but a heart attack ultimately took his life the Christmas eve after her tenth birthday. She and her mother found him in his favorite arm chair when they returned from a playdate. Despite knowing her husband would soon pass, Calliope's mother wondered, often out loud, if he would still be alive had she been home rather than entertaining her unwanted daughter's whims.

    Having never had a job nor obtained a degree, Calliope's mother found herself selling the gorgeous San Francisco home in which she had built her life and moving back to her hometown of Larson two years later. She had no family left, save for her eldest child who, thankfully, had done well for himself and rented them a property he owned in Larson for way below market value.

    Calliope took to Larsonimmediately, having an amount of freedom to explore that should not be permitted to a child. Her mother very clearly could not care less what her daughter got involved with unless it inconvenienced her. She harbors no hard feelings towards her mother, though she doesn't try to interact with her too much anymore.

    She seldom talks about her father, and has lately been trying to avoid even thinking about him. She doesn't want to think too hard about his relationship with her mother for fear of ruining the picturesque memories she has of him.

    Dante was born in Tucson, and lived there for about two years. He had one sister, one brother, and both of his parents. Tight-knit. Staunch Catholics. He moved to Seattle early on when his father got it in his head that there were better job prospects. This was definitely a bad idea, since living in Seattle isn't NEARLY as cheap as living in Tucson. Dante's brother soon moved out, being nearly 20 and having gotten himself a girlfriend at that point.

    He was bullied pretty ruthlessly as a kid. For being a dork and for being fat, mostly. Even though his weight was just a genetic thing, he still couldn't help but wonder if there was something wrong with him. His parents were much kinder about his body than they were about his mind. As young as eight, he got lectured about how he'd never meet a girl he liked if he kept rambling about inconsequential things. Can't you enjoy something more substantial? Which, at first, he ignored, but it became more and more obvious that he would never be quite so "substantial" in his parents' eyes. It was obvious they were all under social pressure, all comparing themselves to others.

    In middle school, he saw a boy he liked. More than he'd liked any girl, really. He played soccer and had pretty eyes. But he walked that love straight to confession, and got told pretty bluntly that liking boys gets you sent way, way down when you die.

    The homophobia, he grew out of. For the most part. He still can't help feeling like there's something wrong with him, but he'd never be mean to someone else for being gay. The body image stuff, the general self-loathing, that wasn't something he escaped. He never came out, and instead let it grow and fester. What difference did it make? Nobody would ever want him, anyway. Self-harming became a natural occurrence that he hid under long-sleeved shirts and sweaters. No attempt on his own life yet, but who knows when that'll come, really.

    He did skip a grade though. That was pretty cool.

Riley's mother was a doting, passionate artist and mother. She was loving, kind and loved her kids with everything she had unfortunately she died when Riley was 6 and most of what Riley knows about her mother is what she has been told by her brother, Oli. Riley's father withdrew himself from his children after their mother died and the siblings tend to blame their father for what happened, after all it was because of his dodgy gambling and lack of ability to pay debts that got their mother killed in the first place.

Riley and Oli have basically had to fend for themselves since their mother died, while Oli, being 5 years older, essentially took over the father role of Riley , Riley still did her best to help out where she could and the two are a very close duo. Their fathers gambling never stopped and got worse after their mothers passing, he also began to drink heavily and continues to plummet himself into more debt with even more dangerous men. Throughout her life, Riley has dealt with breakins, attempted kidnappings and other stuff which has caused her hard exterior and tough nature. When Oli turned 17 he began working in a tattoo parlor as an apprentice and quickly became an established artist with high reviews. He moved out shortly after and took Riley with him, they havnt seen their father in 3 years and are better off for it.

Beckett's childhood was great. It was the kind of love-filled, dream family childhood a lot of kids wished they had. Both of parents were always around when he was growing up, always spending time with him and taking him places. His mom would always take him to the grocery store with her or to the park for walks. She'd always let him help her shop and always asked if he could pet the dogs they saw while they walked. Whenever the chance presented itself, his dad was out in the yard playing with him or in the kitchen helping him with his homework. He had a birthday party every year and tons of presents that usually contained whatever he'd wanted that year. His parents were with him for every field trip, every sports practice, and every injury growing up. As an only child, he got all of his parents' attention when they weren't working, so he was definitely a little spoiled.

Early Teens to Present



When he was fourteen, however, everything changed. One day, a few weeks after his fourteenth birthday, a lawyer showed up at his front door asking to see his parents. Upon letting him in, the man promptly sat down at the dining room table with his mom and dad and delivered news that completely flipped Beckett's world upside down. Not only was he adopted, but his birth mother was presenting a case to take custody of her son back. Over the next several months, Beckett's adoptive parents and their lawyer went to court with Beckett's birth mother, Hannah Carlisle, over custody of him. They tried everything they could to keep Beckett, including getting the state involved, but by the end of it, their custody was revoked and Beckett was placed into the custody of his birth mother. Her case, which she'd pleaded directly to her son during their meetings throughout the court proceedings, was that Beckett's birth father had threatened to hurt Beckett if she tried to keep him even though she'd never wanted to. With a stable job, proof of her claims, and a suitable home, the Lakely's case didn't stand a chance.

When the case was over and Beckett's things were all packed up, Hannah moved him from the home he knew and loved in Seattle, Washington all the way across the country to Larson, Virginia. When he was almost fifteen, they were finally settled, and Beckett was enrolled in Dennings High. Being the new kid, especially living a mother who was a total stranger to him, was difficult, and he needed regular meetings with the guidance counselor and a prescription anxiety medication to get through most of freshman and sophomore year. Within the first year of living with his mother, Beckett received another shock in the form of his birth father showing up at his new house, asking for Hannah. Doing his best to be understanding and allow his birth mother to build a relationship with the son she'd been forced to give up, Beckett allowed him before he knew who he was. Upon finding out the kid in the house with his ex-girlfriend was the son he'd frightened her into giving up, Beckett's father, Jeremy Blake, quickly won Hannah back by promising her he regretted what he'd done and was just as eager to build a relationship with his son as she was. By the time Beckett turned sixteen, Hannah and Jeremy were remarried, and Beckett was placed under their joint custody. Though Jeremy hasn't done anything to hurt him or his mother, Beckett doesn't trust him, and they're distant on their best day. Jeremy is also very traditional when it comes to masculinity, and is the driving reason behind why Beckett is terrified for people to find out he's not completely straight.

Beckett, though he's not supposed to, still keeps in contact with his adoptive family, and plans to move back to Seattle with them after he graduates high school and turns eighteen.

Hikari and her two brothers aren’t native to the US. In fact they as well as their parents didn’t move to the us till a month ago. Being born in Tokyo Japan Hikari is the youngest of her three siblings. Her father and mother were corporate workers that were pretty high in the corporate ladder providing their kids with a decent living. Nice home, food, good school and social lives the three were happy. Though what the three didn’t know was that their father had certain… issues and ties to the Yakuza. It first started when Hikari was twelve, they came to Hikari’s father. Demanded he launder money from his company for them, threatened his family. He couldn’t say no for fear of his wife and kids being hurt so from that point on he worked with them. Laundering close to three million from his company for the Yakuza in the first two years.

It took a toll to say the least but he did what he needed for his family. But he wasn’t a dumb person. He’d applied for green cards for his family, taught his kids English and when the right time came, when their green cards were approved and he had plane tickets Hikari’s father went to the police, admitted everything he did for them and aided in the arrests of many members. Then they left. Packed or sold everything and moved from Tokyo Japan to Larson Virginia to run and hide from the Yakuza. Not trusting the Japanese’s witness protection one bit that was his plan.

Before Hikari knew it her entire family was uprooted and moved from their home in Tokyo to the US. A home already bought, jobs for her brothers and parents already lined up. Even a school for her already seeing as school started a month from when they moved. How would it be? Transitioning so quickly and abruptly to American culture? She could only hope it will go well.

Definitely on the petite side, Carlie stands at five foot three and is nowhere near the curvy, hourglass figure one sees in beauty magazines. While Carlie's childhood wasn't bad, it wasn't the greatest either. Her mother was a seamstress at a small boutique in Larson, and her father was a landscaper working for a local company. Both were aspiring entrepreneurs, desiring to start their own businesses one day. They met one night at the county fair, and fell in love over a night of carnival games, creaky rides, and way too much greasy fair food. They dated for a few years before settling down in the town they'd both been born and raised in. They got married, and barely a year later, they had a pair of beautiful twin girls whom they named Carlie and Lacie. Growing up, Carlie was always glued to her mom, always wanting to help her with her dresses and around the house. She was the little girl who's favorite toy was a dollhouse and who loves playing dress up and having tea parties with her mom and a group of stuffed animals. Lacie, on the other hand, was always glued to their dad, always wanting to go with him when he went hunting or to work, constantly playing outside and getting dirty. She was the total opposite of her sister, the little girl who wanted to all the things the little boys could do. While Carlie was content to stay home and learn how to cook and sew, Lacie was constantly running around, chasing after the boys in their neighborhood until they let her play like one of them. Their differences only became more apparent when they got into school, as Lacie took up every sport available to her while Carlie joined arts and crafts and excelled in her schoolwork. Despite that, however, the sisters were as close as could be, celebrating how different they were alongside their parents rather than disliking it. Lacie was Carlie's wild side, and Carlie was Lacie's level head.



Early Teens to Present






All the way up until their freshman year of high school, things for the Kerrigan family were great. Their parents were crazy in love, leading Carlie to be a fan of romance herself, and their family was happy. They started high school eager to experience it, excited to be one year closer to graduation. Their first week in school, Lacie was already at the top of the high school food chain, hanging out with the movie stars of their high school, always surrounded by new friends and lovestruck boys eager to be her date to homecoming that fall. While happy for her sister, Lacie's popularity didn't help Carlie's shyness, and as Lacie basked in her popularity, Carlie quickly became a wallflower. It didn't take long for Lacie to notice her sister's lack of friends, however, and she quickly made it her mission to change that. Though it took some convincing, Lacie slowly brought her sister into her friend group, introducing her to everyone who was anyone at the school at the time, including Jesse Staton.

While Lacie's friends were welcoming, Carlie only really bonded with Jesse. The six-foot-one, sweet-talking guy captured Carlie's attention--and her heart--without ever really trying. She knew his reputation, that he'd been with a bunch of different girls and always left them with a broken heart when he got bored of them. However, having seen it in the rom-coms she watched with her mom, she was so sure she could change him, that she was going to be the girl who tamed his wild heart. Jesse treated her like the princess she'd always wanted to be treated like, always writing her sweet notes or bringing her flowers. For the few months they dated, it was the relationship Carlie had always wanted, and with the boy every girl in school wanted, no less. When homecoming came around, Carlie was super excited, spending more time they she ever had getting ready. When Jesse asked her to stay over his house with him after the dance, she said yes eagerly. She was so in love, and so certain he loved her, that giving him her virginity felt right. It was a wonderful night, but the morning that followed was like a scene straight from a nightmare.

The next morning, Jesse treated her like a stranger, gruffly telling her to get dressed so he could take her home. Hurt and confused, Carlie did so, hoping he was just nervous about the night they'd shared. Over the weekend after the dance, Jesse didn't answer any of her calls or texts, and when she got to school on Monday, she learned just how naive she'd been. In front of the entire school during lunch hour, Jesse told her the truth. That his whole relationship with her, including taking her virginity, had been a bet from his friends from day one. Though Lacie stood up for her, doing her best to shame Jesse and squash the rumors, Carlie retreated into the turtle of a girl she'd always been, refraining from speaking to anyone besides her sister and her teachers while at school. When she started seeing signs of being pregnant a few weeks later, she was terrified and ashamed, but knew she needed to know, so she asked her sister to buy her a pregnancy test. When it came back positive, it felt like the ground had been ripped from underneath her, like her whole world had just been flipped upside down. She didn't know what to do, didn't know how to face her parents with the news--or worse, face telling Jesse. She was so afraid of disappointing her family, so afraid she'd ruined her life.

After a few days, her sister managed to convince her to tell her parents the truth. While disappointed, their love for the daughter stood over everything else, and they did their best to be loving and supportive, immediately scheduling her for a doctor's appointment. When they asked who the father was, she answered, and they offered to help her tell him. Though she had no desire to talk to him after what he'd done, the part of her heart that was still in love with him and hoped he may change his mind if he knew about the baby convinced her to tell him the truth, but she ultimately decided to do it on her own. She met him at a local diner where they'd had so many of their dates and gave him the news. Apparently fond of shattering her heart, Jesse told her he wanted nothing to do with her or the baby and that if she was smart, she'd just get rid of it before it ruined both of their lives. The words crushed her, and after a few more weeks going to school, knowing she'd be showing soon and everyone would know, Carlie found she couldn't face what the rest of her high school life would be if everyone knew. So, Carlie asked her parents to pull her out of school until after her son was born. She spent her pregnancy being homeschooled, and trying to decide whether to keep her son and raise him at just fifteen, or offer him the best life she could and put him up for adoption. It wasn't until August the next year after she delivered her son and held him in her arms that she made her decision. Though it was the hardest thing she'd ever had to do, Carlie put her son up for adoption and left the hospital without him. Her parents made an arrangement with the couple who adopted her son that Carlie would be allowed to know him, that they would send pictures and videos of all his milestones, but she knows it will never be enough for her.

She went back to school two months after her son was born, right in the middle of her sophomore year, and though her sister tried to cheer her up and get her to make some new friends, Carlie was content to protect her broken heart by simply keeping to herself.

Everyone who took even a small glimpse at the Castanedas would think they were a perfect American family. With Greyson’s father, Harrison Castaneda, being a lieutenant at the local fire station everyone thought he was a saint. His mother, Serenity Castaneda, was called a sweetheart as well due to working part-time at the hospital whenever she could. Greyson thought those same opinions of others as he was venturing through childhood too. Since he was an only child, had no reason not to at the time. They’d be at every event he had whether it was a school field day, a baseball game, or even witnessing him graduating kindergarten. He felt so loved that the thought of coming home to them everyday after school made him smile.

At school he was considered a bit of a goody-two-shoes. When any teacher would ask a question he’d be the first to raise his hand up, waving it in the air frantically to try to answer the question. He’d be first in line when it was announced they were traveling somewhere out of the classroom, even if it was a simple trip to the bathroom. Of course it pissed off a lot of his fellow students, but he couldn’t care less. Friends came along the way because of his actions. A few people seemed to like how nice he was, and that he’d try to help a person in any way he could.

After finally making it to middle school, he was so excited to continue his friendships that he made in elementary and make even more. That was when he got the tragic news that he’d be moving to San Diego, California because of his father’s new promotion. Harrison was given the offer to be a Battalion Chief at San Diego’s biggest fire department. With no hesitation he said yes, diminishing his wife’s opinions on the matter stating that they’d make way more money with the new job offer. Greyson was devastated, wanting to stay in Larson because of the friends he’d made, but knew there wasn’t much he could do. So right after the first month of Greyson being in middle school, they moved to the bright state of California.

The first week of being in California was gruesome to Greyson. He absolutely hated it. The sun shined too bright during the day, his room was smaller than the one he had back home, and his friends were across the country.

“Come on kid, you’ll like it better when you start school.”

That’s what his father would say after he’d relay his opinions on the subject. He could tell his mother wasn’t really enjoying the vibe either, but everytime he asked her about it she talked about how she would grow to love it. Greyson didn’t share the same sentiment, wanting to go back as soon as possible.

It turned out his father was wrong on the matter. Greyson was severely bullied the minute he stepped into school. With people mocking how he talked, why he was such a nerd, and how he dressed. Every other day he’d come home to another bruise or his homework being ripped up before he could even attempt to do it. His father told him to toughen up, that he looked like a wimp letting all the kids bully him. That’s when he was just beginning to start drinking as well, stressed from the constant hours of labor from his new promotion. When he’d tell his mother about the grievances he faced, she just stood there and nodded her head. It was like she couldn’t care less.

It would grow to get worse as Greyson would begin high school. The same kids that were picking on him for years kept their antics up. It wasn’t great back home either. His father was now a completely different man. He was very abusive to his mom and him now. Pissed that he had to bring all the money home and that his wife wasn’t bringing enough income into the family. With living in hell at home and at school, Greyson was through with the bullshit. He was no longer crying after every insult thrown his way during school, instead his fists would start to bawl up and rage grew inside of him. Throughout his sophomore year he was getting into countless fights with his bullies, cussing out teachers who did nothing to help him, and skipping multiple days of the week to go smoke in an alleyway. Tattoos interested him too, and he would grow to love having them inked on his body.

He rarely ever came home due to the fact that he’d kill his father if he ever touched him again. Of course he felt bad for his mother having to go through the trials of that man, but he needed to escape. That’s when he asked his grandma (on his mother’s side) if she would take custody of him. She had a little to no knowledge of what was going on in California before he had told her. It was actually the first time in years he’d spoken to her, due to his father cutting off all contact with any family member. As soon as she heard the information she took it to the Larson police.

It didn’t even take a couple hours before the San Diego police would soon arrest his father after the information was relayed to them. Greyson’s mother, who was scarred from all the years she’d faced in fear , was checked into a mental health facility due to trauma.

Greyson’s grandma was given custody of him and he would start his junior year in high school in Larson, Virginia.

Greyson’s now back in Larson as a new version of himself. He was no longer the nice kid who’d talk to everyone or help out the staff in any way he could. Instead he’d roam the halls of the school glaring at anyone that’d stare at him the wrong way. One could hope that he’d reconcile with a few friends of his past, or meet new people to finally feel comfortable in a place where he knew he was finally safe.

Tristan stands approximately six foot two inches tall with a weight of one hundred and seventy-four pounds. Braddox has always been considered a little arrogant and a bit of a prick. He likes to have a tough demeanor around his friends as well as people who don't know him to hide his insecurities held inside. Taunting and making fun of others is what he considers his coping mechanism even though it's really shitty. Stubbornness was also one of his major qualities. Braddox hates not getting his way in anything. He's very competitive and gets pissed if he loses anything. When he releases doesn't complete a pass during practice/games he considers himself a failure and begins to beat himself up about it until his breaking point occurs. Before his mother's death, Jared's life was great if he had to say so himself. He was happy all the time, smiling and laughing at the little things in life. Jared had a better mindset whenever she was alive and around him and yes, he was a mama's boy. Her death really took a toll on him and affected his father heavily. That smile that he was somewhat famous for had been wiped clean away from his lips and people hardly see it anymore.

Jared's life was very much easygoing and pretty much laid back in the earlier years. He and his parents went on multiple adventures throughout the states and they were really living their lives to the fullest. They were very happy with the way their lives went really well and they all were carefree, having little to no worries at all. The one person that he cared for most in the world, the one person that could make him smile whenever he was sad and the one person that could make him feel welcomed and special had passed away. That person was his mother, whom he had loved dearly. It was not a doubt in his mind that her death had taken a toll on him, heavily and affected his father so badly that it drove him to drink.

There have been many times when Jared cried himself to sleep at night but not because of his mother's death alone, but because of his father's physical and verbal abuse. It was horrible and he kept quiet about it, no matter how much it was tearing him up inside. But one day, he had had enough and finally told someone, his auntie, whom he had moved in with shortly after. His father apologized and apologized countless times but his auntie wasn't hearing it and took in Jared. His life was seemingly going well again but the memories of his father's abuse stuck with him.

It was during his time through middle school that he found a group of friends that kept him somewhat sane. But unfortunately, they could not shake away the memories that lay inside of him. He kept his past hidden from them, as well but might've told at least one of them. During this time, he had a plan in mind and that was to make his father feel just as worse as he did. Jared had gathered the money he had saved up and paid some local gang members to intimidate his father and give him a couple of blows here or there. But things took a different turn of events and his father was accidentally killed in the process.

From that point, he had run away after the funeral from where he currently resides and went to the other side of the coast to north Carolina by bus, where no one knew him and could bring up what had happened. There, he joined a gang and became a part of a brotherhood like no other. The president took little Jared under his wing and treated him like a son. Everyone taught him street smarts, as well. He did have to make up some lies about his past though and his present time for being in larson. Lucky for him, no one suspected that he was lying.

A few years have passed by now and Jared was on the next flight back to Larson, va, where he will attend high school there, and hopes that he still has some friends. he knows that he'll have a lot of explaining to do but will have to lie in order to keep himself safe from everyone.
