Detection – As the name would have one assume, these Lillits are fantastic at detecting Snatches. While some may be through touch, others could be through hearing or smell, though there is a limited range if it isn't direct. The further the range a Lillit has, the more desired they are.

Healer – Snatches give wounds that hospitals can't immediately treat, as they leave a special kind of poison in their swipes. Lillits with an acute ability to heal help mend the wounds caused by Snatches. It is rare and far in between to find someone who can entirely heal a large wound, but without them, the wound would never heal, as they're capable of removing the poison. (It is however common for a Healer to completely mend small wounds.)

Communication – Can temporary connect their mind with another Lillit and let them know of oncoming danger or if they are injured. This helps the Lillit community know what is happening, where the threat is and saves far more people in the end. Just like Detection Lillits, the further the range, the more desired they are. There are some who must be sitting right next to the Lillit they wish to communicate, while others can be across town.

Ripper – There is a short amount of time where one could retrieve magic back from a Snatch. (Know that removal of ALL magic will cause death.) A Ripper is able to rip into a Snatch and take back the magic before it is entirely devoured and return it to its original owner before owner dies. This kills the Snatch as well. But the time to do so is mere seconds. If a Ripper is on the other side of the ballroom, they most likely wouldn’t make it in time. Rippers tend to stay close to other Lillits at all times. (Rippers can rip magic out of Lillits.)

Magic Altogether -- Lillits have more powers than just the four above. Imagine those as a Lillit's nature. Your character will/should have more powers that branch from the four above. Some may have less magic than others and rely more on physical qualities. It is up to you.

-NOTE- I have also discussed the source of magic with another who will be joining this role play. It will be a plot point, so it won't be given away yet, but just be prepared.

Name: Alva Mercy (Goes by Mercy)
Gender: Female
Age: 24
Type of Lillit: Detection

Weapon/Powers: Detects through touch. All of her abilities revolve around this idea. She also uses two silver, mirror-like, rapiers. By touching the blade, she is capable of heating up the metal. Not enough to melt or bend, but to slice easier and cause more damage. Besides that, her magic abilities are fairly low. Luckily, her physical abilities makeup for what she lacks.

She also carries some mirrors that she uses to reflect light in the eye of a level 1 snatch.


Lillit Experience: Has been a lillit for the Hallowed Council since the age of 16. She has jumped between many mansions, and even was once a teammate of Burne's. This is the first mansion she has been asked to help establish a foundation for.

Personality: Mercy is often in her own mind, but views teammates as the most valued source of happiness. She would do anything to protect them. In a snap she can go from kind, to complete killer instincts. Mercy has no qualms with taking down humans if they do her or her teammates wrong.

Backstory: Mercy comes from a long line of infamous lillits. But, as Murphy's law would have it, she has been disowned from her family due to her lack of lillit ability. They said she'd only be accepted back if she becomes an administrator, which is next to impossible.

Notes: She almost ALWAYS wears gloves. Her touch is the most important thing to her, thus she protect it.

Name: Aria Fauxvue

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Type of Lillit: Communication (Through Visions)

Weapons/Powers: She prefers to use a crossbow gauntlet (Or a regular crossbow, it depends on the mission, honestly). She has an additional ability to ‘zoom in’ on anything, much like a telescope. However, if she overexerts herself (the distance is too great, frequent usage with no breaks, communicating with another Lillit at the same time), her vision begins to distort heavily, and in extreme cases she will temporarily go blind.

Lillit Experience: She hasn't actually worked directly for the Hallowed Council until now (I.E. assigned to a mansion), though she does have a pretty general idea about what to do/how some things work, thanks to most of her immediate family being Lillits of varying Council employments.

Personality: Aria is a genuinely happy and kind soul who practically thrives in social situations. She also possesses rather keen observational skills that - if she was a more malicious person - would make her an unexpectedly terrifying enemy to have in any social circle. As it is, though, she’d much rather make people happy/entertained, so the chances of her displaying any openly hostile behavior is next to non-existent. This even extends to Snatchers - while she won’t exactly try to hold a civil conversation with them, she doesn’t shout many insults either.

Backstory: She comes from a noble family that, to this day, nobody’s really sure where they came from - it’s only known that 1) it’s pretty old, 2) most of the members are Lillits with an affinity for Communication magic, and 3) they’re all really good at social subterfuge - whether certain individuals realize it or not.

Appearance: She has long, blonde hair with a slight wave to it, and under most circumstances will just let it flow naturally. However, on missions she’ll tie it into a braid. She has dark blue eyes whose shape make her look far more naive and - to her chagrin - younger than she really is. She also has a rather slight form that makes it rather clear that she isn’t one for physical combat - rather, she looks more suited to dancing (or just avoiding attacks - same difference, really). Finally, when it comes to her attire, she unironically loves wearing more formal and/or effeminate clothing (depends on the situation), especially if it’s red/pink. Though, she usually compensates for this frivolity by preferring footwear that’s easy to run in, as well as the crossbow gauntlet she carefully keeps hidden on her right hand.

Extra: Though her communication range is pretty average, her ability to communicate her surroundings in such an immersive/detailed way makes her somewhat unique - though, it can be extremely disorienting to any recipients who weren’t informed about said vivid detail.

Weapon/Powers: Has the ability to imbue small metal objects with a small amount of healing power. She can only really do one or two at a time while still being able to use her healing herself. She currently uses two guns, they're just ordinary with no special abilities added.

Lillit Experience: None, has been living as a normal part of society and attempting to hide her abilities.

Personality: Quiet and reflective. Has a sharp tongue when irritated.

Backstory: Has been living among normal people for a long time, only recently agreed to join a team for the council.

Appearance: Dark brown hair, typically tied in a tight bun. Narrow green eyes and thin, stern looking lips. She typically wears formal looking clothes such as waistcoats and formal trousers. (Pic incoming)
 
Name: Valentine Duchamp (Goes by Val)

Gender: Female

Age: 22

Type of Lillit: Ripper

Weapons/Powers: Val has the ability to "attune" to up to three non-living objects and, provided they remain within a certain radius of her, she can teleport directly beside them. She must remain touching the object she wishes to attune to for a few seconds before she can begin teleporting to it. The process of attunement must be redone once she has teleported to the object once. She cannot attune to living beings, but touching them does allow her to absorb and transfer their magical ability as per the standard Ripper. She wields a pair of small axes that can be used for both melee and ranged combat.

Lillit Experience: She has a small amount of experience working with the Hallowed Council, and has served as a novice in one other mansion before.

Personality: Val is playful and laidback in most situations. Her self-confidence and sarcastic sense of humor can sometimes make her seem slightly patronizing, but she is a reliable ally when it counts. At the worst of times, she is a nuisance who always finds a way to annoy, but at her best her show of valiance makes it clear that she is a valuable asset and a good friend.

Backstory: Valentine and her sister Cecilia had been living peaceful lives as Lillit children. When they discovered their magical abilities, they quickly agreed to use them together to save lives and make the world a better place. Val's dreams were shattered when her sister was suddenly killed by a Snatch. She regretted being unable to save her, and she now harbors a hidden ambition to grow stronger to prevent others from falling victim to Snatches. Her greatest fear is being unable to protect the people who need her. However, she likes to bury her fears under a charade of playful nonchalance.

Name: Luna Kusaki

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Type of Lillit: Detection (Hearing)

Weapon: A set of dual blades with the ability to be temporary combined with natural elemental magic (Fire, Water, etc).

Powers: Lightning magic. Can't preform very complex spells and mainly only uses her magic to support with her weapon. When her weapon is infused with the magic she is able to paralyze anyone or anything she manages to injure for a few minutes. However the more magic she infuses into her weapon the longer the target will be stunned. She can also sacrifice a bit of her energy/magic to enhance or diminish her hearing.

Lillit Experience: She was trained by her family. She has never been apart of a mansion before but is told what to expect from her parents.

Personality: Friendly and pessimistic with a bit of a temper. Loves to read and learn more about the world it's creatures.

Backstory: Both of her parents and older siblings were lillits who were selected to serve in a mansion. Her siblings are still apart of their respective mansions while her parents are retired and live in the city.

Appearance: In the picture. (Not my own picture)

Extra Notes: Luna's hearing, without the help of magic, can hear frequencies ranging from 25,000 to as low as 15 and as far as 600 feet. With magic help her range changes to 0 to 35,000 up to 1000 feet away.

Type of Lillit: Ripper
Powers: Outside of the standard abilities that make a Ripper... well, a Ripper, Cas' magic seems to give him a boost in his physical abilities, which he mostly uses to move faster and amplify his strength.
Weapon: Cas prefers to use weapons typically made for hand to hand combat, usually keeping a pair of bagh nakh with him at all times.
Lillit Experience: Though he is rather new to actually working with the Hallowed Council, Cas is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to things involving it, with his mother being an administrator before her untimely death.

Personality:
Cas is a soft spoken young man with a tendency to take things way too literally. His particular Lillit type can often make him suspicious of those around him, typically resulting in him being more reserved and harder on those outside of the Council and his team.
Backstory: I kinda want to let this develop throughout the story!
Extra Goodies:
- Enjoys doing things with his hair, usually tying or pinning it back, or braiding beads, feathers, and other little objects in it.

Name: Jacques "Jack" Bannetto

Type of Lillit: Healer

Weapon: A pair of daggers.

Powers: Jack's healing is far different from others. While he can heal by touch like most, it isn't as effective though it does use up the least amount of his energy. His strength comes from the shadows.

+Has nightvision
+ Whenever he does damage to something, it heals him based on how strong the attack he used was
+ His healing is increased while veiled in shadows
+ He can take an ally's shadow and attach it to his own, giving him a boost to his stamina and strength when using shadow-based abilities
+ While possessing an ally's shadow, 80% of the healing Jack would normally get either naturally or through attacking goes to the ally instead

- Jack's eyes are sensitive to brightness, making it easier to disorient him with bright lights
- Jack can only possess one ally shadow at a time and cannot possess a shadow to hurt the user
- Jack's shadow abilities drain his stamina quickly
- His shadow abilities(except for ally healing) are ineffective while he is high in the air and in light-heavy areas
- Struggles in ranged combat as he has no long range weapons to use that could heal him
-Jack's ally healing through shadow possession has a range of 50 yards. If the distance between him and his ally is greater, their connection is severed and the shadow returns to the ally
-The further away jack is from the ally he's healing, the more stamina he drains to stay connected to their shadow

Lillit Experience: He doesn't know much more than the basics about the mansions, Snatchers, and other Lillits, but he does know his own abilities very well. However, he still feels like he hasn't fully tapped into his potential.
Personality: Jacques is observant and resourceful. Though he is also selfless, he's a bit arrogant when it comes to his sustainability, which often leads to him taking more damage than expected. Additionally, because of how his healing works, he can be ruthless and overaggressive.

Backstory: Jacques prefers to keep his personal life a secret from all except those that are extremely close to him. Many of his peers consider him strange and dangerous.

Appearance: Jacques stands at 6'2 and weighs 211lbs. He may not be a brick wall, but he is athletically toned. His skin is brown and his hair is jet black and low cut with a thin goatee and beard. He is generally seen in black clothing from shorts to suits and everything in between. Jack's normally in a t-shirt and shorts unless it's a mission or a formal occasion. In those cases, he wears suits. He has a tattoo of an owl on his left arm.

Extra Notes: Jack seems to be very fond of Owls and also wears shades often.
