It was in the midst of the Second World War that a budding young literary, Muse A, finally sent off his application for Columbia University. Something his father had done merely thirty years before him. Call it tradition, call it destiny. But not even a fortnight later, his acceptance letter was between his palms, and a pleased fatherโs expression looming over his shoulder.
Muse A, other than some subtle stories from his father, really had no idea what he was getting himself into. Having a rather sheltered life up until now, the rowdy youths of University would be a shock to the system.
Especially, Muse B, a mysterious figure, exuberant and cynical at the same time. As soon as he is faced with the innocence of the new pupil, he takes it upon himself to befriend him. Taint him. Show him a world he had missed out on. And perhaps even let him in on his own dark, and disturbing secrets.
