This RP will be following Shuten-Doji and Zolgen, Shuten gets a strange calling by an unknown force, calling to him to raze some poor followers of a cult. Let us begin...

WARNING: This will be a very dark RP so if you're sensitive or whatever, probably not the best read.

Ryke Forests

Within the dark forests of Ryke, a compound of monsters are gathering. The night was dreary with clouds blocking out a large portion of the moon, it would rain soon. Down a pathway, Shuten-Doji and Zolgen would make their way down a path in this small territory of theirs. A place no one goes near. There was nothing for them here except death and nightmares. Possibly worse. Down this pathway the two monsters stomped, up ahead on this pathway, the two would see footprints walking down this path with signs of a wagon nearby as well. Farther down the way, Shuten and Zolgen would see hanging bodies on limbs of dead trees, approaching the bodies would show that they were fresh kills. Fresh hangings. The faces of the bodies showed a strange look of calmness and respite. Their bodies were pale, eyes greyed over. Their drab and attire looked similar to villagers, underneath their hanging bodies would be the smell of shit and piss. Bodies of men, women, and even children. Although their bodies looked decayed. Something was a bit amiss about this.
Shuten would notice that one of the bodies' eyes moved and stared at the large monster, before quickly they began to growl and raise their hands out, attempting to grab at Shuten and Zolgen, in a very pathetic manner. Their movements caused their body to gently swing back and forth, Zolgen would then start to see the other bodies start to move, sounds of growls and moans begin to ring up before they all were riled up. One of these hanging bodies had the body of a merchant looking man wearing a bag on his person. There was much that had happened here but almost no explanation.

At first Shuten-Doji shrugged off the voice in his head, thinking it was some side effect of his new life. He was always hungry and something in him craved destruction, but this voice that called to him was not his own. It hungered in a way that differed from his own. It was persistent too and denied him a decent sleep and haunted his waking hours with its sinister siren's call. So he decided to seek it out, to find the source of this voice that called to him and either snuff it out or gleam some answers from it. Zolgen had tagged along as well, a boon in disguise because Shuten-Doji was not the most intelligent and might have need of a second mind.

Their path was a dark one, but not unfamiliar. It reminded the many-eyed monster of the swamps of the dark continent where some creatures would hang their prey as warnings or midnight snacks. These victims seemed to be drained of blood and even the monster found that peculiar. "Drained like vampires." Shuten-Doji declared in the monster tongue as one of his eyes inspected the corpse nearby. That was when another of his eyes spotted one of the corpses watching them and its arms raised up. "They live." He warned before his razor tail swung about and sliced off one of the undead hands.

With little insight into who or what their enemies were, Shuten-Doji used [360 Appraisal] in the hopes of gaining a better understanding of what they were up against. His claws carved up the ground as he rose to stand on his hind legs and lunged at the nearest corpse and swiped his large [Claws E] at it.

Zolgen

Zolgen followed Shuten along, Afterall he was the one having these strange sensations or at least that's what Zolgen's understanding was of the situation. He was trusting that Shuten was mentally all there based on the description of the voice, but in this world a many things were possible like the described so it wasn't Zolgen was hoping that whatever was at the end of their journey would yield some sort of power or at the very least. He gazed around the landscape like a predator might, indeed this did invoke some memories of the Dark Continent. Truly a place where Zolgen got to enjoy fighting frequently, but tearing down more developed places was just so much more fun.

Zolgen looked forward to see the bodies. He probably would have grinned if he were capable of it, seeing the bodies strewn about. The familiar scent of death as they got closer, he was undeterred.
"Such a shame I would have enjoyed stringing some up myself, but it looks like someone beat us to the fun.." Zolgen commented with a bit of a semi sadistic edged chuckle, speaking in monster himself. He then looked back to Shuten as he mentioned vampires. indeed the bodies were drained, it was always possible they could be heading after some sort of vampire being, but for now he kept his mind open. He stopped when Shuten mentioned that they were alive looking forward, before he slashed one of hands off of one them and went in for another one.

Zolgen promptly drew his blades out from his back, "You don't have to tell me twice." he replied before moving in near Shuten and attempting to slash the nearest adjacent body down the middle with, Demonic Cleaver Sword #1 E , before slashing at the next closest one with Demonic Cleaver Sword #2 E "I'm sure we'll find out whose calling soon enough.."

Calder
G-TD08-006EN~2.png
Calder had been wandering the dark and cold forests of Ryke for a number of days now. Ever since the band of pirates he had been stalking were slaughtered by a horde of Monsters, the Undead wannabe-pirate struggled to find something or someone to satisfy his boredom. After finding his new purpose in life- well, new purpose in death, he decided that the first thing he should do; was kill someone. Not just animals like'd been doing.

Despite all his grand ambitions and the things he had seen, Calder himself hadn't killed someone before. He needed to at least do that if he was to take the first step down this despicable path. Besides, there was something inside him on an instinctual-level that wanted to kill and devour. He kept pondering to himself while traversing through the bleak vines and branches.

Something caught his attention immediately however. They were so lifeless that Calder almost confused them for broken tree branches at first. Without a doubt though, the things hanging from the tree branches were corpses strewn up by the neck with nooses. All that he looked around the path, he saw those same masses of corpses hanging. Staying nearby a large tree trunk and bushes that barely had any leaves left, Calder admired the specimens from afar, [Stealth F].

'Now this is impressive, I'm gonna need to take some tips from whoever did this. Woah, the kids too!? The sick bastard didn't hold back.' he praised in his head, while keeping in mind the possibility for the perpetrator being nearby. Soon enough, he heard movement coming his way. What should he do? Well the answer wasn't too hard.

Being the predator that he was now, and taking advantage of the situation, Calder nimbly put his stomach to the dirt and played dead while slightly exposing himself. He laid one of his Cutlasses near the bush for easy access. There was a chance of some curious fools coming about to look upon this haunting scene and when they let their guard down to check up on Calder's corpse, he'd take his chance to overpower them. What would his first kill be like? What would he feel afterwards? He continued to ponder with excitement as the strangers came closer.

Keeping his eyes slightly open to gaze upon them, he took in their appearances. Unfortunately, they weren't the harmless squishy meat-bags Calder had been hoping for. No, they were a pair of Monsters and from the looks of them talking to each other, they weren't morons like some he had come across so far.

Not only that, but the hanged corpses appeared be still alive. That is to say, they were undead just as he was. Though, without the brains and good-looks he still had. The smart thing to do, was to just keep playing dead until those two monsters had their fun playing with the undead that were swinging around like punching-bags and left.

The corpses continued to sway back and forth, a chilly wind would fly on through as now rain began to come down, the distant cries of thunder could be heard as it lit the sky. Shuten would begin to hear the voice once again begin to talk, he'd see an undead speak to him. " Follow. Hither. To the location of Dying Dragons. Come. Arrive. " The undead was speaking to him although he'd cut it down, the undead now handless. Although when it hit the ground, it began to rise up, looking at Shuten, groaning and growling like normal now. Was that a trick? But then the undead swayed before it turned around and began to shuffle away down the pathway. A very strange thing to see. As Shuten used his [360 Appraisal] he would find little information except on an undead that looked very similar to a merchant still hanging with a noose around his neck and his arms holding onto a bag. It was growling and groaning. But Shuten would see that there was something important within the bag. Although it would not state what it was except that it was an item. Shuten would then demolish the merchant undead next, the body fell limp on the ground as the bag fell onto the ground, out of it rolled out a small red handle, " Shuten-Doji... Come hither... Acquire this. " The voice was now louder, coming from the handle, it looked like the handle of a weapon as Shuten would now hear the voice being louder. Upon picking it up, he would immediately see a dark red vision of a small village down the path they were set on.

1670915375826.png

There the many eyed monster would see many dead bodies lying around, blood stained the ground below. the village looks like it had been abandoned recently despite everything look very old. There was many figures standing around, and whispers filled Shuten's head. Quiet mumblings, similar to a little girl, telling him " The cellar. They are in the cellar. The Dying Dragons seek me... " Shuten would then see in the village, cloaked men wielding weapons resembling dragons walking around, slinking in the shadows. Like they were guarding this place. Yet Shuten couldn't help but feel like he was being pulled to this place. The vision would end and Shuten would find himself back on the pathway with Zolgen who had slaughtered most of the undead.

Zolgen would slice through the undead, each looking different than the last. The monster berserking his way through, reaching the last one he would see the face of a skeleton looking at him. It cackled at him for a moment. " I know who you are. " The voice spoke like a dream. Although when Zolgen tried to process what just happened, the undead was back to being a regular animated corpse, growling and reaching for him, mindless. Was his mind being toyed with or was he just not thinking straight. Eventually as Zolgen tried to process what just happened, he'd feel a strange sensation on his shoulder and the voice of a woman in his ear. " Zolgen. " Turning or attacking would reveal nothing had been there. Although on the ground with the last undead on the ground, he'd see a book had fallen on the ground, similar to a journal. There was old, stained blood on the cover of it. When he picked it up, he'd see there was a name on the side, some sod by the name of Darleen. Opening the journal would reveal only mundane and boring human life for the first few pages. A woman who had a "crush" on some new guy who called himself Hedrick who arrived at the village, village being named Hemlock. Whatever that meant. But then the journal would detail about how this new person would then begin to act very strange, always watching his back, his face would sometimes morph but this Darleen thought it was her imagination. Eventually, the next pages would then describe how she and this guy eventually hooked up and weird details about reproduction and how much she loved it and blah blah blah. Boring stuff. Eventually, Darleen would describe how she began to feel sick and have only thoughts about this Hedrick, she felt like there was an itching under her scalp and it only got worst no matter how much she scratched at it. She mentioned next that a strange group with a dragon insignia on their chests have arrived in the village, claiming to be moving on soon. Last pages would then have rapid scribbles. HEDRICK. HEDRICK. HEDRICK. HEDRICK. I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR HEDRICK. MOTHERS HEAD IS IN THE KITCHEN. FATHERS CORPSE HAS BEEN FED TO THE PIGS. BROTHER IS UNDER THE PORCH. I HAVE DONE AS YOU ASKED. I WILL BEAR YOUR CHILDREN HEDRICK. PLEASE HEDRICK.

Calder as he watched from a nearby bush would feel the cold breeze move in pass him, the light rain that had begun along with the distant and faint noises of thunder rumbling. The monsters before were acting like the brutish and evil beings they looked like. Although one of them, the many eyed beast was looking around rapidly, luckily for Calder, the abnormal looking monster did not spot him. Calder had an easy drop on them although both of them looked highly capable of killing an undead like him. The weird skull looking monster with two massive swords looked more than capable of himself, could cut Calder in half with one of those weapons. Although as Calder was observing these two, he would see out of the corner of his eye, a knight walking down the pathway towards the two monsters. They looked rather strange, having a two-handed sword and a dragon's insignia on their chest. Although they snuck around, making sure not to be seen. They then moved behind a tree, getting ready to strike soon. While Calder was watching, he'd feel a presence over his shoulder, with the faint distinction of a silver masked man with glowing purple eyes. " Oooooh. Exciting, isn't it, corpse? " The voice whispered. But then looking, it disappeared with a faint hearing of laughter. That had to be real. Someone was watching him... Although he did not get a clear description of who it was.

The undead were starting to become his least favorite prey of all. Anything that continued to taunt and live when he'd spent his energy trying to kill it should be dead. But the words of the rotting body distracted the monster, causing him to pause his violent streak. Those words, that voice, they had been haunting him and calling to him for some time now and it seemed like he was finally on the verge of discovering what was going on. The visions of the village and those within were confusing, but were enough to set the monster on the right path. He passed the handle to one of his tendrils as he dropped back down to walk on all fours. "A vwoman's voice in a cellar." He communicated to Zolgen in his crude way.

"Let's go." Shuten-Doji spared a brief glance at his packmate, looking at what he had discovered and then turned all his eyes outward to watch their surroundings as he started down the path. He had a led on what was causing this voice in his head and he wanted to pursue it before something else could stop them or slow them down. "Knights in the village, be ready." Shuten-Doji warned Zolgen as his fists pressed into the wet dirt.

Zolgen
1196110200.png
Zolgen had been slashing along not as satisfied with the destruction of the reanimated corpses since the undead didn't even react really to being cut. He was pretty baffled when he head the voice in his head. He'd pausing listening to her saying she knew who he was, very curious as to who or what this could possibly be.
"Well Well Shuten it looks like you haven't lost your marbles, now I'm hearing people too." He'd chuckle.

Once he kept cutting he saw the journal and did investigate it, ceasing his violence momentarily , it wasn't like the undead were doing much damage to them. It also wasn't all too common that bodies that were strung up had journals on them, maybe it'd give them some information about what was going on. "Looks like she did though.." He'd comment once more now with a semi sadistic sounding cackle. "

She really did a number on her family, shame I haven't met a gal like that. Wonder who this Hedrick guy is" Using the semi modern language that was reminiscent before he got isekai helled. Unlike most common people Zolgen wasn't the sort who was terribly bothered by these details he was more interested, too bad since the journal was on the body he could only assume she was long gone and dead.

"Well lady since you're keen on talking to me you wouldn't mind giving a heads up with what's to come huh?" He'd talk out in monster it looked like to no one in particular. He hadn't been aware that Shuten had been doing some sight seeing while he was doing some reading, eitherway it was clear that Shuten was right as he heard him talk. "Right , lets get a move on..seems like you have a better idea of what's ahead than I do.." He commented in monster, following behind keeping his now bloodied blades at the ready as he had stance that suggested he was ready to leap into action if need be.
"Knights you say? finally maybe some fun.."

Calder

Calder almost jumped from his crouched position once the disembodied voice uttered disturbing whispers near in his ear. It took all he had to restrain himself from pouncing to his feat, but there was clearly no one there. If he could sweat, he certainly would be. Calder pondered what exactly was that. The Undead could vaguely recall a silver mask with glowing eyes of purple.

Was it a ghost? Pretty ridiculous for an Undead to be spooked by one. But it did stir Calder's excitement, he had to admit that. While being thankful he wasn't being chopped to pieces by those huge swords like those other hanging undead, he caught a glimpse of movement. To his delight, there was what looked a knight coming to slay some monsters.

The Knight was sneaking around also, but didn't seem to be onto Calder's own ploy. Well what happened to these two monstrosities didn't matter to him, but there was something to consider. There could be more trouble up ahead this path and what could assure his safety more than if he was with these two tough-looking bastards? Besides, whatever it was they were talking about with that journal, smelled of adventure!

The main issue was finding a way to get those two to not immediately slaughter him on sight. Calder figured he could accomplish that if he presented himself as an ally to them, and there was one way to do that....

[Stealth F], using the mist and the swinging corpses as cover, Calder quietly rolled onto his bent legs, both swords at the ready and traversed between the dying trees along the side of the path. He hoped the moaning of his stupid undead brethren would cover any sound he was possibly making as he carefully made his way towards the back of the Knight.

Once he got there, Calder would swing at the back of the Knight's neck; [Cutlass Sword F #1]. With a grin as sharp as his blade, Calder called out in a tune in Monster tongue for the other two Monsters to hear; "Human~!". Immediately after using that deadly phrase that would draw the hungry eyes of any monster, Calder would use his [Fast F] feet to gain some distance away from the Knight and towards the two other Monsters. Though of course, he wasn't so close to them as to assume he was on their good side yet. He would try to make sure that they were the ones between him and the Knight.

As Shuten and Zolgen continued down the pathway, Shuten continued to hear the voices in his head. " They cling to the shadows... The Dying Dragons do... Clinging onto a dying sovereign. " The voice spoke to the large beast, Shuten would peer into a vision for but a moment. He would see upon a massive throne deep underground in a land far from here, an eldritch mass of limbs, bodies, eyes and scales were clumped together, hooded figures were bowing to this massive figure, offering bowls of blood to it, the beast only murmured before twisting around in a grotesque manner. Shuten would find the vision to end. Approaching the dead town, the two would see buildings, there was a massive sign made of metal that arched over the road that led into the abandoned village that spelled the word Hemlock. The village's name. They were at the right place. There was almost no movement within the village besides in the distance as a couple of knights were walking across the street to a house.

At the edge of the town, Shuten and Zolgen would see that there were many boarded up homes and buildings on the left side, one doorway was pathetically nailed down, whoever did it was either very desperate or not very experienced, either way it would be easy to break through. On the right side there were old stables with the old corpses of horses laying around. The bodies were rotting, maggots littered all over the bodies. Luckily for the two monsters, the rain began to pour harder, now disguising minor noises. There was also louder thunder rolling in, being able to cover over louder noises. Up ahead there was a town plaza it seems, but there was most likely a lot of activity there. Although Shuten and Zolgen would not be able to tell from where they stood at. They still had the cover of the forest hiding them until they decided to enter however they wanted. They could go in loud and clear or could sneak their way around town. It was up to the two what they wanted to do. (Ask questions and I'll let you know what is what or what you can do/add to posts.) " You are almost there... In the cellar... I await... " The voice spoke to Shuten again.

Zolgen would see a man standing at the other end of the town, wearing a knight's armor but there was... A very demonic feeling about this man. He wore no helmet and held a red-looking sword; he would feel like the sword was staring at him. The man couldn't be recognized but it was clear he wasn't a part of these knights. He ended up slinking into a building, an abandoned home. Perhaps they could meet with this stranger. Or they could kill him. Up to the two monsters. But then Shuten would see a knight run from a tree, charging towards the two from the forests they were hiding in, only for an undead with a cutlass to yell out and slash the knight down, the noises being covered by the rain and lightning momentarily, the undead would quickly gain ground and move towards Shuten and Zolgen. Zolgen now would hear a yell behind them as the thunder passed, turning around he'd see a kneeling knight recovering onto his feet and an undead wielding a bloody cutlass that covered ground towards the two of them, making sure the new knight wouldn't be able to retaliate.

Back in the forests, Calder was stalking his prey, this knight was hunting after the two monsters ahead of him, hiding when able to. Making sure the many eyed bastard wouldn't catch him lacking. Holding his sword by the blade, he would chase after the two, moving from tree to tree whenever the thunder made its loud gurgling. The knight was catching up to the two monsters quickly, getting ready to attack the two beasts. Luckily for Calder, his stealth mixed with the rain and lightning saved him from being found out. He was able to get close enough without the knight noticing, who was all too focused on the two monsters. The knight then waited for the thunder to rumble before making a dash for the two. Although, this is where Calver would intervene. Using his cutlass, he would cut into the back flesh of the knight close to his neck, while his cutlass was somewhat sharp. It was only able to get through some flesh, but it did get a yell out of the knight who fell onto his hands and knees. The knight held his sword and tried to swing it quickly at whatever struck at him.

1671090525895.png

The knight would see Calver move around him and get between him and the other monsters, unaware that they weren't allies. Although to this knight, he assumed they were, and didn't care. They would die the same. " Of course... Should have known there was one watching from the shadows. " The knight said in pain as he stood up holding his sword in both hands. " I'll destroy all three of you. I want that bounty on your pathetic heads. " He pulled a bottle from the back of his belt where he held a fire bottle. Using his sword, he ignited it rather quickly, holding it now. " I'll watch you all burn. " But behind the knight appeared, like a gust of wind, an ethereal vision of some sort of necromancer with a silver mask and purple glowing eyes. " Ugh... Always with the threats you humans are. " The necromancer sighed boredly. The knight got startled and quickly turned around, swing his sword at where this necromancer stood only to then bring the fire bottle as a melee weapon, hoping to collide it into the head of whoever. Although it also went through the vision of this guy. Although the knight was panicked, the necromancer was very much uninterested in the knight, instead looking at the three monsters before him. " Hmm. Three. I wonder what you'll do about this poor sod. " The necromancer laughed. " Look at him. Oh, I can smell the fear. " The man stated before laughing again. And yes, the knight now was quite fearful, he wasn't expecting three monsters, it was a challenge but a doable one. And to stack upon that, a fourth one. A vision, it was most likely that this guy had already figured him out. Knew he was coming. Calver would recognize the mask and eyes of this guy, he was the one that had discovered him even in his stealth.

Shuten-Doji
1671300183272.png
"Did not believe me?" He couldn't blame Zolgen for not trusting his ramblings about hearing voices in his head, but it was still shocking to hear it out loud, especially when the other monster had chosen to accompany him on this little adventure. But he had to agree that the idea of fighting some knights did actually sound like fun. He had grown accustomed to fighting alongside Zolgen and competing with the man for destruction. "A better fight than that village." The monster relished that memory and all the carnage that followed when his pack attacked the unsuspecting village. But now wasn't the time for reminiscing. Particularly because a vision overcame him and it was quite the vision. Shuten-Doji shook his head as he awoke from it and was more interested than he had been before. The creature which sat upon that throne could be him, he could be ruling over a land destroyed.

The destroyed city that lay before them was not too different from the vision that he had seen, but he didn;t see a throne. The voice's words were....confusing, but he assumed it meant the knights patrolling here served some mighty beast. He decided he would need more information about these knights and their master. So as they neared the edge of the forest, he used [360 Degree Appraisal] once more in an attempt to try and learn something new. Instead he spotted an undead attacking one of the knights. He didn't bother to turn around as he could see just fine. "An ally?" Shuten-Doji said in a curious tone as one of his eyes turned to look at Zolgen. He could see other zombies stumbling towards them and couldn't wondered if they were with this hero of theirs.

Shuten-Doji turned finally when he saw that the knight was not yet dead. "Do not kill him." His tendrils shot out to wrap around the knight's wrists and stop him from swinging his sword or his bottle. The strange mage was also a curiosity and perhaps a source of information. "Who are you? What do you want?" The large monster asked as she started to walk towards the knight. "What are you here for?" Shuten-Doji asked the knight as he circled the knight to stand in front of him.

Zolgen
1196110200.png
Zolgen cackled some more in his strange demonic tones after hearing Shuten ask that, fair enough question. Before nodding in agreement at Shuten's assessment that this would be a better fight than the village, particularly now that they had become much stronger than before. At the point that Shuten started hearing the voices again talking about the whatever waiting in the cellar, when they were at the edge of the town, Zolgen paused momentarily, when he saw the figure move and go into the building. He got an ever familer feeling of te dark continent that felt like it was coming off of whoever that had been. He kept his hands near his swords for the time being ready to draw them quickly if need be. He could only assume the figure was also a monster of sorts, wondering if they were friend or foe.

He then spun around when he heard the yell to see the undead wielding a cutlass who had struck a knight down. Zolgen drew his demonic blades just to be on the safe side now in a combat prone position not sure if this undead was friend or foe, knowing definitely the knight was not a friendly.

"Might be." Zolgen replied in monster with a neutral tone, not really sure what to make of this undead yet, since it wasn't attacking them that was usually a good sign, a many monsters in the dark continent didn't wait to attack if they were hostile, if they wanted your blood they wanted your blood and you'd have to fight for your life, Zolgen was not sensing any killing intent directed at him or Shuten from this undead new comer.

he continued in monster looking back towards Shuten briefly, " I should mention this now, I sensed and saw what could have been another demon in the distance, that went into a building, we may want to check it out when we're done here.." Speaking very presumptuously that they would come out of this event unscathed.

He then heard the knight speak out, interested in what he had to say. Zolgen scoffed when he heard the knight speak so boldly,

"They really are pieces of work aren't they?" He'd snicker looking over towards the Necromancer. "Even now he speaks of how he'll defeat all of us.." He spoke in common, after Shuten grabbed the guy with his tendrils. While the knight was being held Zolgen kept an eye on the undead among them including the others, "You two know each other?" He casually asked The Necromancer and Calder unsure of what they wanted or why they were there hoping to find out. Normally Zolgen would have been killing the knight at this point but Shuten seemed to think he had something important to share so he yielded for he time being.

Calder
'So close,' he silently thought to himself, a bitter taste in his mouth. He complained after only too taking a decent chunk of flesh out of that knight's upper back. He wanted one of those swift instant kills that he would always see on television and fiction. Still, Calder smiled pleasantly at his blade that was tipped with crimson blood. Couldn't enjoy it for long though with the ongoing rain causing the liquid to slide off. So close, so close to actually killing a living breathing person. What would it be like? What would he feel afterward? Relief? Shame? The only way to get the answer to that question was to test the theory.

That was until the knight pulled what looked like a fire bottle out of his bag. Calder was unsure if he could even escape the onslaught of fire if it was thrown in his direction, but thankfully a familiar face showed itself. It was the same silver-masked with purple eyes of light from earlier. Calder had to wonder if this mystery specter was friend or foe. What he was certain of however, was that the two monsters beside him were not striking him down as he had worried before. Pleased with his plan going along well so far, Calder tapped the blunt-edge of his left Cutlass to his own chest and spoke, "I'm Captain Calder, but you can just call me Calder. And no, I don't know who this ghost bastard is. He just likes to popup and scare the piss out of everyone, like ghosts tend to do. Can't say I'm not jealous."

While he was saying that, the undead pirate casually moved his way toward the knight that was tangled by the many-eyed monster and used the wind and wetness of his Cutlass to blow out the fuse of the fire bottle with a swing. "I'll be taking that," Calder enthusiastically spoke, putting away one of his swords to his belt and reaching his hand out violently to snatch away the bottle. Something that destructive could prove useful for some destructive situations. So Calder decided to place the fire bottle in one of his pockets for safe keeping later. His eyes lingered on the knight longer than he'd like. It took some effort to not immediately slice a hole into the human right in front of him. Especially with them so vulnerable and plainly asking for it!

Still, his first time would have to come at the right moment and with the right person. No need to rush it. Turning back to the two monstrosities, he continued his candid chatter. "I just happened to stumble upon this decoration of corpses. Thought I would get the jump on some naïve travelers but found you two instead. I gotta' say, this whole situation looks like it's a bundle of fun. So I'll join along in this merriment of murder. Let me take a look at that notebook you got there," Calder spoke to the skull-headed and many-eye'd monsters casually. It was still an odd thing that he had to remind himself that he himself was one of them too, a monster.

The necromancer sighed as he began to speak to the monsters, " Humans are very confident in themselves, they always speak on how powerful they are and what they'll do to you. Boring generic sayings. " Dahak stated, " I am Dahak. A necromancer of 600 years. " He chuckled. " And I am here to watch you, see what you are capable of. " Dahak looked to Zolgen and Calder, " While he is undead, and I am a necromancer. No. We do not know each other- " Dahak was cut off as he held his head, " Ah... What the hell? " The Necromancer shook his head as he shot back a few feet, a massive crack suddenly appeared in the ground where Dahak was previously standing at. The ethereal vision of Dahak then became reality, real body and flesh. He was now before them. Dahak held his head. " Ah. I had died. Again. " The necromancer then looked up and at the two monsters. " Damn you Naberius... " He growled.

The knight couldn't believe he just had his fire bottle taken when he was being held down, Dahak saw Calder step away from the knight and figured now would be a great time to demonstrate his power. Dahak held a hand up towards the knight, a purple magic overcame his hand as beams of necrotic energy flew towards the knight and began to siphon into the knight. Who began to scream as he began to degrade, his body was slowly being siphoned of life energy as it slowly came back to Dahak who took it in happily. He felt his strength returning as the knight fell over while his armor set turned into ash. Dahak took a deep breath, " Much better. " He chuckled evilly looking to the two, " And look at that. Two victims for you two to sate your lust for blood. " Dahak stated, when the two looked behind them at the village, they would see two guards coming for the three, one knight held two swords while the other was holding a massive greatsword. " Fucking beasts... You lot will fucking die! " One of them yelled. The guard with two swords moved towards Zolgen while the guard with the massive sword turned on Calder. " Come on. Show me what you can do. " Dahak cackled as he watched.

Zolgen nodded at what Calder had to say before he looked back at Dahak curiously, as he explained who he was. So he had a captain and a necromancer these were not the types he had been expecting to encounter to say the least around these parts. He found it interesting Calder felt comfortable speaking to him so casually, but who was Zolgen to judge? He was the one who had strolled up himself on a group of monsters to give a wave and joined them in their hunt, much like Calder was doing here it seemed. As long as he didn't get in the way of his goals he didn't really mind Calder accompanying him if he was so inclined, as it sounded like that what was going to happen. He wondered if he had also been hearing voices in his head. "My name's Zolgen, I've come from the Dark continent to..well have some fun." He said with a somewhat sadistic sounding laced edge in his voice.

"If you really want a look, but I"m telling you the broad has lost her marbles" Zolgen snickered, "Just like how I like e'm." He then passed the notebook over to Calder so that he too could read the murderous confessions of the woman who sounded like she had gone of the deep end.

"Oh you want to see what we can do huh? That shouldn't be too hard to arrange." Zolgen spoke confidently, he was pretty impressed when Dahak killed that knight and sapped the energy from him, as as surprised he was when he mentioned that Naberius figure. He wasn't really sure what was up there when that had happened, but nevertheless Dahak's power at least was still impressive to Zolgen. Zolgen had only encountered so many who could do that so effortlessly in the dark continent.

Zolgen looked back at the guard with two swords who approached and cackled in demonic tones which were not possible by a regular person, before even saying a word in response he got into range of them and used moving one blade forward to start Demonic Traveling Twin Slash - Grade E- 1 Post Cooldown ,following up with another one if the first hit.

It's unfortunate when they don't all make it to the end. But we do our best and carry on. Have a consolation prize (penalties applies for incomplete):

Zolgen - 8pts

Calder - 7pts
