There was no getting herself out of this. Time to improvise. She gingerly held up her skeletal left hand to indicate MALB to hold his position as she turned smoothly toward the sound of the voice. It became evident that the gynoid he saw seemed to have been badly damaged in some sort of event- yet GDAM took what they still had and sent it out here anyway. She opened her mouth, and spoke in the same faulty processed, punctual voice as before. However, there was still a feminine touch of what could be considered Human just barely making its way through. "This chassis or included subroutines do not support the subtype of service that you are insinuating, Mister Kharlos. As for meeting 'the team', there is only myself, my compatriot, and the Head of Security; who should be arriving here shortly." Alexis stated, flicking her eyes over to the strange looking cybernetic Drones before returning to make eye contact with the man before her. "Your presence is welcome, however I ask that you do not interfere with security operations when they arise." The QMAC was working double-time; retrieving files upon files of recalled interaction subroutines to make the gynoid sound as naturally as possible. If one of those Drones was indeed filming, it would be a hell of a blunder to watch their prototype fuck up speaking.

At the security checkpoint down the corridor, the young man who had been waiting cranes his neck out of the window to look towards the conversation with raised brows. He doesn't seem to feel terribly inclined to move towards the party, but shortly he doesn't have to.

A grim looking man in a black coat marches around the corner, flanked by two of the station's guards, the two of them wearing red jumpsuits to help indicate their function- as if the belts full of security tools didn't point out that fact.

Taking his hands out from behind his back, the man raises one in stiff greeting towards Raymond. "Kharlos," he calls gruffly, slowing his pace to a more leisurely step. The thin line of his lip curls up into something approaching a sneer. "I see you're getting acquainted with our latest acquisitions."

Coming to a halt next to M.A.L.B, he turns and looks up at the machine, a glint of- not pride, no, the Lowe-Pike badge on his shoulder wouldn't allow that- but perhaps appreciation for raw power. Then his gaze flits over Alexis, and the rest of Raymond's crew, before settling on the man himself.

At last, he offers a hand and the two men with him salute sharply. "Welcome to the Antioch. Now, what is it you want?"

It happens to be relatively clear of more 'civilian' traffic here in the arrivals deck, but a few individuals- the security checkpoint guard, a janitor, and a simple, old box-headed style robot have stopped what they were doing to look over the TEC crew and the machines.

Malb had wasted no time to begin heading to the station so they may begin diagnostics on him, but he had stopped to analyze the area and found high dangerous weapons inside of both of the drones, apparently one was named Human rights and the other World Peace. This didn’t concern Malb much but it had made him remain still for a while in order to perhaps learn a bit more. Before he could make his way to the security station he was an individual with two security guards with him talking to the other human and taking a moment to look at Malb. Malb thought that the Individual was analyzing him to see if he had any flaws in his design, but quickly left making Malb assume that this individual hadn’t seen any flaws. Malb moved his head to look at the individual and responded. “Hi, we have been sent here by the station AI to have the security station run diagnostics on us.”

Just as she finished her introduction, another individual introduced themselves. A quick cursory glance to the man automatically validates his database reference as the Head of Security, accompanied by two escorts. The man didn't need armor or any arms of his own, it seemed- one wrong move and those two would lay waste to anyone without a second thought. Alexis could vaguely make out an elaborate toolkit the security head carried. The curious thought of having dual training as a robotics technitian entertained her curiousoty as she allowed herself to gaze around and take in the environment before her- and realize that everyone was now gazing at the trio and what the man labeled as "assets". That came across as odd to her, and she quite quickly filed a notation as she turned to breifly nod toward the man who had arrived. "Synthetic AX-735, designation 'Alexis', reporting as ordered Sir."

[NOTE: RESEARCH DEFINITION OF 'ASSET' FOR LATER EVALUATION.]

A tense moment of silence passes between the Security Chief and Kharlos' team.

Then there's a message coming across on the Security band, which both Synthetics would be tied into.

"Security Personnel, be advised. A Viral outbreak in Research Lab 6 has been detected. I have been unable to detect any personnel in the area, suggesting potential sabotage. Please investigate with Synthetic assistance."

The Security Chief's face screws up as the news comes through on his earpiece, and he casts a sidelong look to the Synthetics. "Look into it, you two. We'll run you through the paces later."

Viral outbreak? Running a station-wide systems check through the main server, she performed a quick casulty calculation with any X-type airborne pathogen. The numbers rose, and stopped at 130,000. Assuming the hermetic sealants closed around the lab's bulkhead doors in time, that was. Although she wasn't designed for HazOp, Alexis would be fine within the lab chamber. She wasn't going to let conflictions in her programming define what she could do in a pinch. Alexis turned on a point pivot to the Security Head, and raised her arm to a crisp salute, saying, "Aye, Sir!" before turning to the location marked on her HUD. She sent a quick message to M.A.L.B in the meanwhile.

[!ATT: I'm unsure of what pathogen we will be dealing with here, I cannot scan organic compounds due to limitations on my subroutines. We need to focus on containing the area and evacuating any personnel that are not contaminated, and quarantine the ones that are. If any Infected are a threat to themselves or others, try and incapacitate them. If that fails, we use lethal force.]

It had taken a while for Malb to realize that the said individual he was currently looking at was the head of security, but just as he was about to be checked for any errors, an alarm had broken out. Apparently a Viral Outbreak occurred and the head of security quickly ordered them both to go to the location and wait there. Right as he began moving Alexis had sent another message.

It's clear as the two Synthetics travel through the hallways once again that most of the Station personnel are completely unaware of anything potentially hazardous going on; it doesn't suit the Corporation to have an outbreak be common knowledge, after all. For all intents and purposes it seems as though two combat synthetics are simply on patrol.

It gets a bit more clear as they reach the Research Sector, and most of the traffic has been diverted by careful placement of Janitor bots and some construction work. And so they would eventually reach a sealed doorway into Research Six. A number of security guards stand around conspicuously, while a single individual- a detective from the look of things- examines the door. He looks at the two approaching Synthetics for a moment, but otherwise stays in the way to finish probing the door.

With MALB in tow, Alexis spotted the Detective-like figure outside the door where, supposedly, the contagion had broken loose on the other side. Stopping a comfortable distance away, Alexis greeted the man with the same eerie tone of voice she'd had- unaware that it probably frightened passerby as she addressed herself and her companion behind her. "AX-735, designation 'Alexis' with M.A.L.B; reporting as directed. We're here to begin HazOp protocols, Sir." Her QMAC virtually screamed at her to evacuate the man from the area, but it was clear this individual knew what he was doing, and possibly had more Intel to spare on the situation. She took a brief moment to look at the door he was at, scanning the utility to see if it was rated CBRN-Resistant. Quickly, she sent a message out to Order.

As Malb had made his way with Alexis he kept on scanning, even though he had already scanned a portion of the station, but Malb wanted to scan 100% of the station in order to be able to perform optimally. Though Malb knew that would be almost impossible as some areas would be restricted from him and thus cause him to not scan the entire station, but as long as he scanned most of it Malb would be rather satisfied with it. Oth synthetics had finally arrived and while Malb was scanning the are Alexis had already begun talking to a human that seemed what was already going on, Malb simply stood net to alexis and waited for any further instructions to be given and for Alexis to finish up her conversation.

Turning away from the door as the Synthetics approach, the detective looks them over with a critical eye. He scoffs and waves at his guards, then answers Alexis' statement. "Yes, very good. There's no evidence of tampering on this entrance, and all of the access corridors are sealed. Since you two don't breathe I'll have you go in and investigate the area, check the air quality, that sort of thing. Under no circumstances can you return to the main corridors until you have been properly cleaned."

The door emits a ping when the Detective directs his hand towards it. "Research Six is restricted access even to the majority of the research personnel, and all allowed staff have been accounted for. Anyone or anything in there is K.O.S."

While the Detective speaks, Order transmits information to the two Synthetics as well.

"Advisory: Articles of Research Section Six include: Genetic Modification, Plant Growth, [REDACTED], [REDACTED]. An error has occurred; Proper security clearance of information Class V restricted to Station Administration and Heads of Staff only."

A moment passes before it continues.

"Notice: Clearance for additional information will be requested at this time. Please proceed with standard search protocols to ensure contagion(s) are unable to spread to live areas."

The door emits a secondary ping, indicating that it was unlocked and would allow access to the Synthetics- or any other authorized personnel.

Alexis didn't have to say anything, but nodded and told the detective, "We'll get this taken care of, Sir." She entrusted MALB to follow right behind her as she ultimately went inside first- pulling her tactical Kriss Vector off her back and entering the room with a forward strafe, ready to fire. Pushing into the entryway corridor, she toggled her laser attachment as her eyes visibly increased in brightness, activating a built in low-light mode. Her QMAC rapidly cycled through the information that Order had informed her of. They were most likely manufacturing Bioweapons for some third-party or primary contractor, which already proved a problem as to just what they'd face in this area of the station. Alexis sent out a remote signal to lock the door behind them, ensuring it wasn't accidentally opened. Schematics built into a small minimap revealed that they were fast approaching on a receptionist area, just past the first corridor.

Malb followed behind Alexis, remaining at a respectable distance while still scanning the area. Malb had expected to wait for a long time to receive the clearance to enter such an important area, but without much time passing, they were both temporarily authorized. Alexis went in first and soon after Malb followed. As Malb kept on scanning the quarantined area his scanner picked up something.

[SCANNING: IN PROGRESS]

...
[SCAN: ALERT]
[SCAN: SIGNS OF HARMFUL SUBSTANCE DETECTED]
[SCAN: DETAILS UNKNOWN]
[SCAN: APPROACH SUBSTANCE FOR FURTHER ANALYSIS]
...

[SCAN: PARTIALLY COMPLETE]

He looked back at alexis, finding no reason to use the communications in the current situation. “Be advised, I have picked up what might possibly be the dangerous substance in the area. Further scan is required and location is roughly down the hallway.” Malb began moving a bit faster. “Pacing will be increased to reach destination much more quickly.”

The hallways of Research Six are barren, but well lit; not exactly threatening conditions, but for humans it might have been considered 'eerie.'

The stated Reception area is little more than a secondary security posting, which is also remarkably vacant. Either whoever was here was already gone when the outbreak occurred, or had something to do with it, as there is no sign of a struggle or even anyone having left the area.

Malb's sensors would continue to guide it deeper into Research Six, past the reception/security post and through another set of airlocks. Still no life would be detected by either Synthetic as they march on, but a steady 'scrape, scrape' would be audible before too long.

With Alexis on point through the facility's corridors, her low-light vision deactivated as she sidestepped to be beside MALB. As soon as the scraping was heard, Alexis stopped and paused for about a second; triangulating the azmuth and elevation of the sound as it reverberated throughout the environment. When MALB speaked, a strange twitch roped the gynoid out of her pause- almost as if she were startled. Regardless, her damaged voice didn't show any sign of being emotionally alarmed as she responded to his copanion's statement. "Understood... we're not alone. Order indicated that this section of the station specialiszed in genetic engineering and plant growth. My conclusion is that this was a part in helping sustain more nutritious crops for Human consumption." Alexis concluded, her Kriss trained forward and laser making a small red pinprick at the end of the corridor.

Malb had not picked up any lifeforms from the scan, but perhaps it was because Malb had concentrated it more on the chemical substances than actual lifeforms. Upon being told that there might be lifeforms, Malb pulls out his rifle and removing it’s safety immediately, while still keeping the railgun on standby, right now wasn’t the time for such firepower. “Prepared to fire at any hostile targets on my sights, advancing towards the hallway.” Malb said as he resumed walking through the hallway, slower than before to not be so easily jumped.
