Marcus was glad he suddenly placed the flashlight on the plasma gun at that very moment, as whatever the hell tried to grab at Alex was somehow called a "Tapper".

He had attached the flashlight onto the plasma gun at the time and he hoped to not attract anymore attention to the both of them.

Hopefully with Marcus's flashlight on the creatures while Alex was shooting, Marcus had a better chance at hitting the creatures "eyes." with his plasma fire. They had to test locations to see where this thing was weakened at the very moment.

The CDF Officer with the sword would immediately shriek as he was shot in the chest before even getting a slash in, and as the Tourist ran away the one with the blaster would get a shot to graze over the Tourists shoulder, resulting in a slight burning sensation as whatever clothing was there instantly disintegrated where the shot hit. Once Tourist was behind the dumpster the soldier would continue shooting at it, slowly turning parts of it to ash as he shot repeatedly.​

Getting back up (and feeling slightly ticked), she threw her dagger as hard as she could towards one of the soldiers near the Tourist, rolling away from another. Glaring at the one who had shot at her, she growled under her breath and bared her teeth in a feral snarl, but still not shifting; she wouldn’t unless she got really pissed. “You messed with the wrong girl, punk.”

Thanks to the efforts of the Gratia crew, the soldiers were defeated, until
"Magic presence detected, Anti-Magic squad, deployed"
Someone would say from one of the roofs as two more soldiers dropped down, both wearing heavily padded grey armor, with glowing orange runes inscribed all over said armor. They would hold out their arms, summoning a small orange rune shield over their right arm. In their left hand they would hold a glowing orange baton, one of them would strike Jho, instantly paralyzing him for a minute or two any resisting attacks would be blocked by the rune shields as well....yeah these guys were powerful
