Imagine looking down at your arm and seeing random words or drawings appearing out of nowhere. Would you think you were going crazy? Would you you tell your friends,family? Well if I told you that when you were born you were given a special tattoo that made these things appear on you? What if I told you there is someone else out there that was born the same year as you that has the exact same tattoo as you. It just so happens that the things you see appearing on your skin is what the other person is writing on theirs. The same thing happens when you write on your self, it shows up on them.
Backstory? The government found that over 70% of soulmates weren't actually together this lead to broken family's, orphaned children, a high crime rate, sky rockets in depression and suicide, the list goes on. They managed to find a way to tell two soulmates from the time they were born after scanning in their four print (they never revealed the secret behind the discovery). Nomatter their readings were always almost 95% accurate. Ofcourse there were things they couldn't get around,but in the end it all works out. The tattoo releases a chemical in your blood starting the day its put on. It takes about 17 years for it to fully spread and start working. So around your 17 birthday is when this will all begin to happen. The whole idea behind this is you are getting to know the person without knowing the person. Then when you meet everything falls into place. Here's the catch, you dont know this is going on. It's been happening for generations and you only find out after you meet your soul mate. The whole idea is to not take away free will, so by the time you realize what's going on you will be in love and it wont seem to matter. How ever with it going on for AI long parents and family members know not to say anything about it. Some familys tell stories to their kids and tell them that if it happens its natural and it's a way for you to learn or that its important. some dont say anything until it starts happening and they explain it's for their own good that it's to help not hurt.
