Realistic or Modern Heroes Will Fall [IC]

D:745, Subclass: Predator, Name: Leviathan
Levith

Her eyes stared intently as Apex sharpened her claws on the stone, and once again as she was given the stone to sharpen her claws. She angled it down as Apex had done and began to drag the rock against her claws. Nothing. Nothing really happened the first time, and she wasn't surprised. She gave it a second try, and then a fourth, and that seemed to be the magic try for her. "Oh! That's how you do it..." She said out loud as she continued dragging the stone on her claws, finishing with her first index finger and moving down to her middle finger, holding it out straight, giving it three quick strokes before moving to the next one. "So... you just do this whenever your claws get sharp? You don't use tree's or shells or rocks or anything like this? Just this little stone?" She asked Apex as she continued to sharpen her claws, one by one, and by the end of her sentence she was on her other hand. Before it had felt as some sort of a trail, but now it was just a time burner at best. But a useful one by the looks of it, and a lot easier then just using a normal rock. Or a piece of tree bark. Or a seashell.
Caught in empty minded thought, Levith didn't notice the Elite walking behind her, and calling her name. She turned to look at him, handing the grindstone back to Apex. Apparently he was her groups leader or something. Didn't make sense. He looked more like some kind of sick comedy act. Not exactly what she'd think a leader would look like. She expected more scars, and a bit more... form? Not a man wearing a mask and a hat. "Thanks for the stone Apex. Seems like I gotta go now though. So uh..." She stood up and started walking to the man, not sure how to end their interaction, just now really taking in the group of people behind him, made out of a man who looked just... normal. But she could smell traces of... men around him. A cannibal. How lovely. Even to her, the notion of eating ones own race was appalling. Next for her to take note of was a woman who seemed to either be dying by the second or just tired. Her clothes were an absolute mess, and smelled of rot and mold. Already, her nose was reeling from the group. After her was another woman, obviously. Her... features popped out, and she wore little. She smelled fairly normal, all things considered. Her belly had a tattoo on it, with an odd piercing. She was confused by it, and wondered if it had any meaning. Likely not though. Then, came... well she didn't even know. It was sort of human, sort of... thing. It was like the rig, but... not. She smelled... well, she didn't have too much of a scent. She seemed docile, quiet. Next was someone who looked to be the polar opposite of the odd woman, a blonde wearing expensive looking clothes. Smelled too strongly of... smelly things. Levith couldn't put her finger on it. But it didn't smell natural. Next was... someone who reminded her of Apex, what with her tail. Though that was where the simulaties ended, she had tall ears, and bright hair. She didn't like the look of her too much, but she figured that she would keep that thought to herself for a time being. She smelled of... eh, she didn't care enough to try and get a scent from her. She didn't know why she bothered with getting scents from them in the first place.
Seconds later, she stood face to mask with the tall man. Or maybe it could be a woman. She didn't quite know. But she had a couple of questions. She just hoped that he would answer them and not get all scared from it. "So... what's this group doing again? Something like sneaking or something?" she stood with her arms crossed still, her posture straight. She didn't like the look of this man. She didn't like people who hid their faces. Cowards, they tended to be. "And why the mask?" Her curiosity got the best of her in a split second, and spat out the question she had on the top of her head, albeit in a much nicer way then how she formed it in her mind. She would've insulted the man, but her need to be feed stopped her. She was fairly safe. For now.

Acme looked down at the bloody mess she was. It looked like she was getting ready for a cultist rave. As the rest walked off, she soluted before sprinting off to the nearest shower head.

After a quick yet much needed shower, Acme began to head off to the docks. However, she stopped at the mirror. She began to feel her face, the everlasting smile that plastered the horrifying figure that stood before her. Her smile began to widen, her eyes dilating, the look of pure delight.

Acme left, though anyone walking in would notice the shattered mirror shards that littered the floor. She got the talk from her officers and her boss, learning she was going to join the suicide mission. What fun!

Once on the docks, she blasted towards The Red Baron. Grabbing onto his arm with a death grip. “Helloacmenicetomeetyouandbeonyourteamiknowyouwontregretit-“ Suddenly she heard a pop and looked down at her leaders hand. “.....Eh, it’s fine.” She ignored the injury with a simple hand wave, proceeding her continue onslaught on the elites hand. And thus, Acme was dead where she stood.

Viana ||Sirius

Viana couldn't help but notice as a man boarded. The first thing she noticed was the injury and how his mask had slid off. Looking back to her glove as she tinkered with it before a quick beep rang from the bracelet and all the little pieces schist to where they should be covering her hand. Only after had Viana noticed the man had been staring before he went back to his injury. At first glance it was a knife wound and a deep one which her observations where only proven as she watched him lean over the rail and start to pour alcohol presumably over it. Unable to smirk at his attempts to clean his wound she brought a hand up and rubbed her forehead a little. Knowing what he was doing know would help little she decided to aid him. Walking from where she was over to him she spoke. "hey you look like you could use some help?" She asked him curiously as she took a closer look over his wound now that she was closer to it. From the looks it wasn't near fatal but did need proper tending or it could turne bad quickly. Looking to him once more for an answer she wasn't really gonna take know but she would wait for an answer before persisting to help.[/FONT]

"Aww, secret's out." Not like it was going to be much of a secret anyways. Being a cannibal has it's own perks so he doesn't really care about if people knew about it. Like quite literally being your own food supply and seeing different potential meals every where you go. Disgusting thoughts to mostly every sane person in the world, but delightful to him. There's always so many different options to pick from when it comes to humans. The sick, the dirty, the deceased ridden ones, the rich, the poor, the healthy, every single person. Depending on the health, there's a slight difference in taste. Though mostly it was the same, the taste of human was akin to a slightly more stronger pork. And he definitely loved it. Though there was always a risk of disease depending on who you eat, so he always picks out the most healthy looking ones in the crowd and get them in the dead of night.

Now, where was this squad he's been put in? They were supposed to be meeting up with each other or something if he remembered correctly, so he should get going right about now. Only thing is, he's completely lost as to where it was at. There was mention of a Scaly, Skelly, a mention of some asshole or whatever and a robot back then. The asshole and robot being the leaders of the squad he remembered. Those weren't very helpful descriptions of who he's supposed to be looking for. Looking around the area, he tried spotting for any spots of an asshat and some kind of female robot among the other people that were currently here. If he actually paid attention visually as to who that Red was referring to instead of just zoning out at the thoughts of cannibalism once the guy referred to him as cannibal, he wouldn't have to go through this. Eventually though, he was the one that was approached.

By the one who was probably the asshole that the redheaded guy referred to, judging by appearance alone. He seemed... alright. Not an asshole by any means from a first impression. A little awkward maybe, due to the bit of awkward silence that came for a few seconds. Omega just stared at the other masked guy with a confused expression, unseen by the mask, but still there. It only grew more confused as he mentioned shopping for masks. He expected something more... more something that had to do with his cannibalism, or just cannibalism in general. As that's his main thing here. Not mask shopping, though that did sound like something fun to do. "...Okay?" That was all he said, in a confused tone nonetheless, before the man disappeared in a flash. At least he was told where the other supervisor, elite, whatever was located at. That was good. He'll just go there now, nothing else here to do after all.

Though he was still confused from that last encounter. Mask shopping? Really? Both of them wear masks, so that was something they could go do if they wanted to change up their looks a bit? That still caught him off-guard. That had definitely one of the strangest first meetings he'd had with someone ever. Mask shopping... mask shopping. Of all the different things they could've thought of considering his villainous background, they chose mask shopping? Was that even something that people do? Where would people even buy masks that fit villains? He made his own mask by himself so he sure as hell didn't know anything about that. Either way, he shouldn't be dwelling on that any longer. Delaying himself from going to where he's supposed to be would be a bit of a problem if everyone else was already there. Hopefully they weren't just waiting on him by now.

Omega approached the robot girl, Gen was her name if he heard we-should-go-mask-shopping man correctly, now for a simple introduction. It was hard to believe that this was actually a robot though, because of how much she looks like a normal human being, but he supposes that he should just go and take their word it. "Hello. I am Omega, pleased to meet you. I'll be part of your squad so I'll be in your and the other dude's care." Introductions weren't his thing, if anything he preferred being quiet.

  • He didn’t want to initially pay any attention to his team until they got on the boat but that was quickly tossed out the window as one of the more colorful villains came up to him. Too bad she seemed to finally wash off the blood that could have been a decent scare tactic. He fully prepared to direct her to the boat and tell her they’d talk once they set sail. Naturally these recruits had to make it their job to not fall in line. He barely had time to process before he felt his hand on fire as he heard it pop. His first thought was ‘Thank God This isn’t my dominant hand’. Before he even thought about it he had brought his bat down right onto her head with a heavy thud. He could practically see the stars twirl around her head then without pause he shoved her roughly onto the boat.
He watched making sure that everyone else, be they recruit, or fellow elite, had boarded the boat before he climbed in himself. He hauled the stairs behind him prepping the boat for leaving then banged along the side of the boat with a whistle to signal to Nadine. He waited until the hurricane slowed to a squall letting the path out be accessible. He let Scarlet head out first as even with the extra speed that ship had she’d need quite a headstart to not be immediately connected with their attack considering she’d need to dock nearby.
“Barbarian Take Us Out! And this time no crashing please. We’re trying to not get immediately noticed, we had heroes on our tail after that last stunt.”
He popped his hand back into place as he started to round up his team for the debrief. He changed from his usual shouting voice to a more manageable tone, that may or may not have to do with the throbbing in his hand still.
“Listen up team! Stay covered and out of sight until I give the signal. It’ll be a pretty clear set of three explosions so I doubt any of you will miss it, come out to early and you will become giblets. For our part in the plan we’re the distraction team. When we hit Ironhouse we need to make it clear that as far as they know we’re all that was sent in. The explosions”, he called out a bit louder as the ship began taking off, “aren’t just your signal to get going. They’re going to be a sign that we’re attacking. Doesn’t matter what you break, just don’t make it too obvious a diversion. Act as if we are looking for something.”

“Oh yeah” he added, tapping his bat against his shoulder as he watched the rig and its cloud of cover fade the farther they got. “In case some of you didn’t realize this, our group is going to be facing the big guy. Not an understatement, Iron Quad will most likely be our main target. If you don’t know who he is, ask one of your mates. Our main form of action is to keep his attention focused away from the tower along with any of his subordinates. Draw him out as far away as you can, avoid getting into close quarters if possible and for the love of god, don’t get killed and don’t be stupid.”

  • Our duties are simple. While certainly not what you’d expect and not what you’d possibly want, this squad has been tasked with the mission to provide cover and suppression, if able, for our distraction team. Know that, while certainly not deep within the attack itself, this team’s contribution is vital to the survival of our distraction team’s.” The android’s expression had changed from the warm smile to one of professional stoicism as she addressed the rest of the team. Her eyes swept across each one, as if scanning them. “I trust that all of you will perform your assigned duties well, and I hope to see all of you return to base no worse for wear. That is all I have for you.

Well?” her masked companion said, though it sounded more rhetorical than one that looked for an answer. “You heard her. We’re here” he gestured toward the tower in the distance, as a gust of wind blew over the rooftop the team stood on, “to cover Red’s behind and all the others. Decency in public spaces is key after all. To put it short, Red’s going to be making a big boom, or in simple terms a fat explosion...z. Explosionz. Three of them” -three fingers wagged- “once all three explosions go off, we make our move by making sure no one else gets to them. Aaaaand how are we gonna do that?” He asked with a rather strange merry tune, just as one arm pulled the android, whose facial expression had eased back into her servile smile, into a one-sided light squeeze.

In all honesty that hadn’t been a question either so after a second, Daberino continued: “By intercepting anyone that tries to intercept Red’s team. Which means we’ll be keeping a close eye on the tower while Red’s group attacks the main outpost buildings. Gen here,” his gloved fingers lightly drummed her shoulder, “is better in that department than I am, so do keep in mind anything she says before, during, or after Red’s fireworks go off, okay? Good.” He said with cheery finality.

Care to add anything else, dear?

Genesis shook her head, then pushed a lock of her black hair behind her ear. “Nothing much else. Here’s to a successful mission.

Oh yeah” the masked one said, muffled by the sound of one explosion going off, “I forgot to say this” he was shouting now to be heard. “But Death’s group will be picking up the slack for us by saving our butts.

It was funny how the second one went off after ‘butts’.

Just thoUGHT I’D LET YOU KNOW!” And then the third one hit another building.

Now my harem!” Daberino’s voice called as the third boom died, “Prepare for battle!” And then he was off the roof, in a flash.

The PaladinOil Rig - Residential Entrance

gabriel_the_9th___lms___by_danluvisiart-d5w5m4x.jpg
His conversation was interrupted by the armored soldier approaching them. At the expression of gratitude he let out a puff of smoke and simply shook his head. "That was all you, I didn't offer much." Mr. Wormhole completely ignored what attacks he threw out, so he wasn't about to take credit for such a lackluster contribution. Even so he reached out, grabbing the man's hand and returning a firm shake. "Name's Paladin and this..." He used his free hand to thumb the blonde next to him. "Is Bright." With introductions out of the way he made his way to the docks as instructed. The mission sounded pretty simple, but then it wasn't hard to make a mission sound simple. Still, wasn't like some broadcasting station should be heavily guarded. So unless they were being denied some vital information this sounded like something he could take by himself, let alone with Vesper and Bright there. Even if all the other rabble couldn't keep up he was confidant the three of them could still get it done.

He silently made his way onto the boat, a thin trail of smoke following him as he puffed away at the now tiny nub sticking through his helmet. With a quick motion he plucked the nearly spent cigarette from it's resting place an flicked it into the water. Coming to a stop he folded his arms over his chest, silently watching the man designated his group's leader. He didn't like the kid's attitude. Guy seemed overly full himself, giving off the impression that he believed he was better than all the new faces gathered. Being a veteran in some no-name upstart organization didn't mean you stood above others. And he got the impression this kid didn't seem to understand that. Nevertheless he kept his thoughts to himself. He learned long ago that no matter how you feel about your commander you just had to grin and bear it.

With the information that followed it became clear that this wasn't simply a matter of hitting a broadcasting station. For there to be heroes idly guarding the station, and for these guys to know the exact identity of said guard. Clearly they knew more than they were letting on. As for the hero they were suppose to deal with he'd heard the name before. From what he'd heard the guy was quite the powerhouse, and those types were always annoying to deal with. But even with that fact the mission still seemed just as straight forward as he thought it was. He leaned over towards Bright, speaking low so only she could hear. "So, you got any information on this Quad guy?" He might know some rumors and hearsay, but Bright likely knew actual useful details and it was clear their leader wasn't going to give a detailed brief. And he wasn't about to go into battle with an enemy he knew basically nothing about.

Atlas followed everyone else on board the ship. Sticking close to red as she watched him set the ship of. Hearing him then speak of them being the diversion and the hero they where facing Atlas smiled. Once he was done she took a place right by his side. Hugging his right arm as she pressed herself to him and smiled up at him. "Love will you protect me once the attack starts. I'm gonna let Brutus out for some fun and yo know I can't defend my self when he's out." She said as she smiled up at him more. Standing up on her tippy toes she kissed Reid's cheek before going back down. "Please baby?" She asked giving him a loving look as she hugged his arm tighter. Choosing to ignore any looks she was getting if she was getting them. Right now she was more concerned with the battle. Brutus would be a big help agains ironclad but Atlas would be defenseless once he's out so shed need red to defend her while Brutus was out causing mayhem.[

Ironhouse @'Attack!
Time: Early Afternoon (POST-TIMESKIP)

Location: Eastern District, 8th Ward - Hero Outpost "Ironhouse" (Radio Tower)

  • Anne Blackwell

Anne stepped into the kitchen. She didn't look in any other direction, as she was here for food and nothing more. She followed the beeline of 8 men in solid, bulletproof body armor. She heard a lot about the armor, and how it was supposedly made from a superhero's spit and ceramic compounds. While a bullet couldn't pierce it, a punch could knock them back. They also didn't protect against most superpowers. I shouldn't worry....

Anne grabbed a diet bar, hastily tearing off the wrapping. As she was about to put it in her mouth, one of the men turned to face her and grinned. "Associate! Anne Blackwell, I didn't know you ate here with us. Weren't you always hanging out with Quad?" As he spoke, Anne blinked twice and lowered the diet bar. "Yes, I usually am. He's the only one 'round here with noticeable powers and worth something." She turned to walk away, only to have the associate grab her arm. "Wormhole's dead. I overhead Quad and you talking. Who the hell could've killed Wormhole? I need answers, Anne."

Anne tried to shake her arm loose, but the look on the associate's face was one of shock and worry. "Look, Wormhole wasn't that strong of a guy. Can we drop it already? Now let go, I'm trying to eat." Anne grimaced. Her eyes started to glow a solid, neon blue as she activated her psychic ability to see through the associate's head. Instead of seeing through the associate's head, the entire building turned transparent in her eyes. She could observe the land outside the building, and out at the sea as well. She could even see Iron Quad standing in front of the Ironhouse, looking out for some reason.

Anne ducked and covered her ears for a second. The associate raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong, Anne?"

    BOOM!

A muffled explosion went off, one that wouldn't be heard as loud inside the Ironhouse due to its supernaturally reinforced exterior. However, Anne got the full blast of it as she was observing outside with her clairvoyance. She fell to her knees and winced hard, hissing between her teeth.

"Wow, chill, the explosion wasn't even that loud." As that associate realized what he'd just said, a loud booming voice belonging to none other than Iron Quad rang through all the speakers in the Ironhouse. Within the Ironhouse, his shout was louder than the explosion of itself. "HEY! Someone's setting off explosions! You guys, prepare for something. Anne, I WANT TO SEE YOUR PIEHOLE PRESSED AGAINST THE RADIO. Tell us where everything is, I'm gonna stop these mooks from getting their grubby hands on our shit."

Anne removed her hands from her ears as the color returned to her eyes and the lights went out. As soon as she stood up, another explosion went off. This explosion wasn't nearly as debilitating as the last; Anne was expecting it. So were most of the associates. The 8 armored men within the compound filed out and grabbed sets of various firearms, mostly semi-automatic pistols and varying degrees of knives. Anne herself didn't bother getting into any sets of body armor. She knew she'd be able to dodge some, if not most attacks before they were launched. That, and she'd be playing as the Eyes in the Sky.

The teen sprinted up the stairs to the top floor of the West building of the Ironhouse, grabbing a radio and tuning into the associate channel. She glanced out the reinforced window and covered her ears as a third explosion went off. As soon as the explosion passed, Anne activated her power again. Her eyes shined bright, illuminating her portion of the room. Her field of view expanded once again to far outside the Ironhouse, this time with her sight locking onto 9 different individuals that were on a ship, preparing to fight. "Barrett! I know about locations of nine goons. They came here by ship. Three are in armor, and the other six might have some kind of power. Take 'em out first. Three associates are gonna back you up from the roof with guns. The rest are on me."

As soon as she delivered the message to Iron Quad, Anne radioed the five associates that would be on her. "Scout the area and keep a watch on Iron Quad. He can handle himself, and I'm sure nine's all they've got. If they have more thugs, kill them."

5', 96LB. She is currently outfitted with her Assault suit, while concealing her identity well it leaves little to the imagination, Being skin tight with the acceptation of the titanium armour plates on her back, chest, forearms & shoulders. She is hoping the armor will conceal her gender until she can get a better material for a combat environment that's lightweight. Her helmet is sealed tightly, acting as a gas mask and a visor. The suit's boots give a small metal clunk with each step, with small, barely noticeable arcs of electricity coming off of her boots onto the metal floor of the 'rig'. Her back has a small suitcase with the words COBRA welded onto it roughly, the suitcase is professionally secured to her suits harness system, Removing the threat of the suitcase swinging around on her back. With another small suitcase on her waist, It was a symmetrical & very small case with the words STALKER welded onto it . Her electro-gun was on her back folded up, with a new addition to her appearance. A solid black holster holding her new revolver tightly against her thigh to be pulled at any point.

Does not use depleted uranium rounds
Bullet hose protocol - Suppresses targets with a large output of bullets, and does not stop shooting just because a targets has taken cover.
Venom rounds - Debilitates targets that are hit with a weak poison. Often just giving the targets blurry vision, ringing ears; with some fatigue added on to being shot
    Corn Snake.jpg
.308 AP rounds packed into a dual barrel system. Very good for surprise attacks. Very low profile and the shields on the front/sides protect the internals.
It condenses into a small suitcase.
The STALKER is made from a lightweight titanium allow and has a frame meant to take a beating.
Has EMP resistant shielding stronger than the other sentry guns.
Has radar cloaking and hides it’s own electronic signals from any kind of sensors that could find it

    Scarlet's Ship Tesla-Armour edited (1).png
    Before Hero Post
Tesla had been following Data for a while with the rest of her 'squad'. Having met Zeus, and Zeke; yet the others were a mystery to her. Once they reached the boat that Scarlet seemed to own, Data turned around and started giving them a speech. The whole atmosphere in general made Tesla excitable, all these people. Not to mention the pressure of being the 'most important of the groups'. so- no pressure right? Tesla followed Data onto the boat after that short speech ignoring the others for at-least a minute. She went up the gangway quickly, her boots having small amounts of electricity arc and meet the floor with each step on the metallic surface. She didn't like how some of the people acted around here, It was strange. Some of the people here belong in an asylum compared to a rebellion.

Either way, there was no time to goof around. She grabbed all of these gun parts for a reason. Tesla looked around for a good place to sit down and plopped herself down on the cold ships hull. After she made sure her stuff wouldn't go sliding off the weapon smith started to dig through her bag and start to assemble the revolver she had planned. She started to assemble her revolver from the parts she had, using a variety of tools. mostly using her hand tools that she had with her, such as Allen wrenches and her socket set. It didn't take her longer than maybe an hour of assembly to have herself a fully functioning revolver with 5 cylinders to go with it. The cylinders were already assembled though. She dug into the bag and started to load the cylinders with the large 10mm magnum bullets she packed to go with this gun and then put them into the ammo slots her suit came with. Then holstered the huge revolver in her thigh holster. She felt quite weighed down at this point, but her assault suit distributed weight evenly enough to where she wasn't impossibly slow. She just wasn't being a quake bunny any time soon.
With that Tesla knew that everyone had got a IFF (Identify Friend/Foe) chip for themselves... either that or seagulls stole them. So she was ok to do this! Until Data came along and for the remainder of the boat-ride Tesla would continue to tinker with her sentry guns. Loading them with ammo, changing the modes to motion activated and then running calibrations across both sentry guns to make sure they don't be inaccurate or slow during combat. As crew mates passed by Tesla the sentry guns would chirp towards them.

    • Remaining silent for a majority of things Desmond had said very little as he followed Rally around to get what she needed and what was necessary. The only chance he got to see the others again was when they'd gathered for Data's speech and even then they hadn't really had the chance to trade words. Everyone had been gathering in their groups and to Desmond it seemed finding theirs would be more difficult than he'd imagined. Even though he knew he could just scan through auras till he found the ones that belonged in this... ugh, Death Doctor's group. The name of their leader was more disturbing than comforting and it bugged him why he chose such an alias.

Then again, he was still wondering if it was too late to convince Saint and Zeus that they should leave and go back home...not that it would be easy that is. The thought only made him sigh.

"Ah, are you with Death as well?"

Lily Was the name her aura told him when he turned to look at her, even before she'd introduced herself. And from the looks of it she seemed to be a part of the group as well. "Oh, uh nice to meet you Lily. I'm um" he smiled sheepishly- he wasn't sure if using his real name was a good idea but...he didn't sense ill intent from her. Nothing that told him it would be wise to keep an arm's length from her even if they were on the same team, "I'm uh Desmond. And this is Rally." He added introducing his companion.

If it hadn't been for the redhead ironically called Red himself, Desmond would've liked to talk more with Lilian, but sensing the hint of annoyance at having to wait for recruits climb aboard from the older man, he decided it was best to simply file in along with the others. Once they'd all boarded and the boat had taken off Desmond decided to take the time to watch the oil rig fade instead of engaging in conversation.

The farther the rig looked, the more he pondered what his options were here and now. Should he use the confusion to leave once they were back on Archeo? Get Saint and Zeus' attention somehow and get them to leave with him...maybe even ask Rally if she wanted to go with him. After all the whole reason he'd come here in the first place wasn't for the cause but because of them. Besides...what Data had said in the letter Wiz had given him just....seemed like one tall order. Fighting a system as big as this? None of them even fully trusted each other outside of their own well knit groups, and that included himself. It was thick in the air and he could feel it.

Sighing dourly, Desmond blinked once, twice, felt himself nodding off. Then after a few minutes, found himself sound asleep. The only music he vaguely registered the sound of voices and discussion, and the rush of water as the ship moved towards its destination.

Levith

As the third boom sounded, she jumped in her skin, thinking back to some of the large cities she had been in before, what with their booming streats and metals and noises. It startled her, but soon she grasped a hold of herself, a look of determination quickly turning into a look of ferocity. A wicked grin crawled along her face as she turned to the rest of her team. "Alright, let's eat some ass!" Levith... truly didn't understand what she was saying. In a pure mix of confusion of the English language, she somehow mixed the phares of 'Kick some ass' and... well she was just hungry to be truthful. She was hungry and ready to fight them. She pointed at the fox woman. "You. Woman with the ears. I want you with me. I don't trust you, but you of all people seem to have some sense of whats going on. If anyone else want's to join you're more then welcome to." She said a little too proudly. She didn't stutter, or hesitate once, again showing her bout of confidence with herself.
What she said was true though. She had no intention of trusting the fox woman, nor did she ever quite feel like she would, but she reminded her of an animal, which is something she would easily trust over someone smelling of human flesh and someone who reeks of mold and decay. She waited for her response for a while, before looking a bit annoyed at her. "... Well? Are we going to go together or not? If we don't get there soon everyone will be dead." Her voice sounded disgusted at the end, with the thought of cold, rotting meat filling her tastebuds. She nearly gagged a little as the thought crossed her mind, and left just as quickly.

As Daberino and his android adressed the troops there was a young fox sitting at the end of the line. It's fur was immaculately kept. Golden in color with an almost supernatural shine to it. Truly it looked to be the softest fur you could possibly imagine simply off it's appearance alone. The fox was about half the size of a retriever with the tip of it's tail gently swaying back and forth. The creature's head was turned up towards the masked man as he spoke as if paying attention along with everyone else. It closed it's eyes and lowered it's ears as the sound of an explosion, then two, and then three rolled over the group. Only once the sudden burst of noise had passed did it's ears raise once more, flicking rapidly as they resumed their original position.

Shortly after the third explosion their esteemed leader vanished from the roof in an impressive display of speed and leaving everyone else behind. The fox tilted it's head slightly before shifting it's focus to the android that had been participating in the briefing. It stared up at the black-haired girl expectantly, as if waiting for her to give something a bit more concrete than simply expecting them to randomly charge forward. Before any further instructions could arrive the fish-lady nearby spoke up while pointing a demanding finger down at her. The fox's right ear flopped to the side as it looked up at the lady. It simply blinked a few times at the command. It wasn't often that someone demanded a fox accompany them into battle.

Well, it wasn't like there was anything else to do. The fox turned it's focus towards the tower as it got to all fours and began walking forward. Upon reaching the edge of the roof it came to a stop, once again looking up at the fish-lady who was becoming increasingly impatient. After a brief scan of the remaining individuals the fox looked out in the direction of the tower, and the way their leader had gone. With agility unseen by any normal fox it leapt from the roof to the adjacent building, deftly making it's way towards their target. It would only come to a stop once it had either reached the tower, or caught up to Daberino. After all, even a fox is smart enough to know better than to charge in first.

Faust listened attentively to Red's explanation. From what he got, apart from Iron Quad, the rest of the helpers didn't even possess any power. Iron Quad was notorious for his monstrous power, but he doubted that he would be able to retrieve him alive. Maybe coveting for a hero for his experiment was a stupid decision after all. He inwardly shrugged. Well, no matter. He would have plenty of time to look for subjects once the heroes aren't as organised.

From his briefcase, a white mask came into view. The mask didn't have anything to fasten it to the face, much like a ceremonial mask. It covered the top of his face, only hiding his temple, eyes and nose. But that was why he liked it. He put on the mask, chain appeared on its side, fastening the mask to his face. After all, he still care about being known as a public enemy. Sever, the figure he became with the mask on, was already known to public before. It was better for him to wear it.

"if no one's going to make the first move, I guess I will."

Saint, as Red called him, solidifed the air with his hand and threw it toward one of the associates. Faust nodded with approval. He faced his palm toward one of the people next to Iron Quad, a different one with one that Saint aimed at, and shot off something similar to a barbed arrowhead, connected to a long chain. The arrowhead could either embed itself to the armour or restrict the associates with the chain it was attached to, he couldn't careless. He looked over to the rest of the group.

"Anyone planning to jump over? I can give you a lift."

What a familiar feeling this anticipation was. Like an old friend. Except... She'd never felt so fondly for old friends. Ah, well. Indescribable, then!

From the rooftop, the battlefield stretched out before her like a game of shōgi. By the looks of things, the foot-soldiers were already on the move. As the dynamic duo gave their briefings, Retsu took special care to the more useful of the two. "Aye-aye, Ms." Distracting for the distraction might seem ludicrous, but Retsu wasn't one to question orders. Besides, all that time out at sea had really given her the itch.

As the three explosions rattled the roof they stood on, their fearless leader called them to action before disappearing entirely. Retsu whistled into the wind, impressed. Peculiar or not, that one was fast. As the rest of her squad moved into position (or not), Retsu was muttering something to herself. Be it blessing or curse, she couldn't recall. More than anything, it was a prayer of gratitude, and the promise of offering. When she opened her eyes, her sword at the ready, Retsu approached the ledge that the fox, and previously the mask, had leaped from. A draft from below prickled across her exposed midriff

"Phew! Guess it's time to go."

She stepped off the roof's edge and fell toward the earth. Her feet found a foothold about halfway down the building's face. She hovered there awhile, in the lazy light of an afternoon sun, balancing on the flat of her blade. Her mission was 'support' this time 'round, right? Then that's what she'd be: air support.

Atop her soaring sword, Retsu took to the sky, rising perpendicular to the street below as she crouched down, steadying herself for the ascent. Once she was sufficiently high (high enough that the people below looked to her like very little people) the Blade Maiden observed the board in motion. By now both sides had played their opening moves. From the looks of things, the battle would soon erupt on several fronts as both sides scrambled to defend their main force. The center stage was where her gaze lingered longest. Even from way up there, the hero who stood before them looked more mountain than man.

"Iron Quad, eh?" She said the name aloud, cracking open a fresh can of brew. "Tsssssss!~ AH, that's the good stuff." Retsu thought it sounded even more ridiculous than she'd even thought possible as it slipped past her own lips. But names weren't everything.

"Let's see if ye're all yer cracked up t' be." She giggled to herself as she appraised the aluminum can in her grip. "Heh! Cracked... Hehehehe... Woo!~"

Aia was rather persistent to say the least of not leaving her mother though eventually she have in to her mothers word and agreed to go with vesper. Sticking close to her on the ride out she sound found her with her group where they needed to be. Looking around curiously as the man with the picture box head spoke words she didn't understand Aia figured the lady mother wanted her to stay with would explain. For now Aia took a place I an elevated position on the tower. Holding onto a beam as she hung upside down by it. The end of her tail wrapped around it tightly as she looked around curiously. Mostly though her eyes were locked o the picture box head. He was even more curious looking than the man she had first met. Was it his real head? How did he have a picture box for a head? It confused her but she sensed right now wasnt the time to try and study him so she stuck to her spot. Looking down to vesper who was close by Aia let out a little tip at her to get her attention. Wanting to do something she figured if she got vespers attention she would give Aia something to do. Letting out one more small yup for good measure.[

Beau found himself listening in as Saint described their adversary to the naked monster beside him. A knowing look flashed across the light in the murderer's eyes at the mention of a father. Saint's father. The thought intrigued him, and he stored it away for later consideration. For now, he had more pressing issues. Iron Quad stood before them, flanked by a troupe of lesser Iron Quads on the ramparts. It all looked rather dramatic, like the finale of a movie Beau had never seen. The small fry weren't all that concerning. No. Beau's worry was the ringleader. If what Saint and Red had said was true, then he was physically no match for the burly looking hero.

This is looking troublesome. Beau shifted his gaze away from his enemy to look over his allies. Time for a head count. There was Saint, the creature, two armored soldier-types - mm, one of them looks familiar - a woman in a suit, and... Ugh, this is exhausting. Enough of that. Besides, Saint had just said his name. How pleasing to hear it pass from those lips to his ears.

"Haha, sure thing!" Surely, Beau wasn't so stupid as to make the same mistake twice. No. Next time he'd be well prepared. Will you be, Saint? I wonder. Voicing his intentions to launch the opening blow, Beau nodded in acknowledgement, bracing himself for what might come next.

"Okay. I'll back you up." This was for the best. If he stuck in the back he could stay safe. By backing up the members of his team, Beau could steer clear of that man's grip. How hateful did that look on his face appear! Beau wished to imagine that same brutish expression, twisted and writhing in agony instead.

Ah, yes. Much better.

Atlus smiled at reds agreement and leaned up kissing his cheek. "That's my red." She said as she walked behind him. Closing her eyes to focus the air started to swirl around her around her as a blood red aura engulfed her. Then a low growl started from her as her eyes shot open to a solid glowing color of blood red. Quickly the growl turned into a loud brutish roar as a light formed on her chest. From it something started to crawl out. At first it was small but soon turned massive as Brutus formed out of Atlas's chest. Letting out a vicious bull like roar as he fully formed infront of Atlas. Brutus stood at a massive height. Standing at about 15 feet tall he stood o his hands and fists much like a gorilla. Behind him Atlas's eyes rolled into the back of her head as he fell to her knees. "Finally an opponent worthy of my fists." Brutus grunted deeply as a deep growl came from him. Glancing to red Brutus spoke. "You don't protect he I will rip your head off." A threat that was clearly one he wouldn't break. Letting out a deep grunt Brutus slammed his hands on the ground before he charged forward in a trot on his fists and feet. As Brutus neared the group of recruits he let out a deep grunt as he came up to them. "Remember. He's to strong for most of you. Aim for weak points and make sure he doesn't lad a blow." He told them as he locked his eyes on Iron Clad. Brutus wanted madly to strike first. To charge in and let his primal rage and instinct take this fight to the hero but figured he would stay back for now and wait for his chance.

Rally didn’t know much about the others, a fact she wasn’t in any great rush to fix. She knew it’d come in time but for now she really needed to work on being prepared for the mission. She was usually good at multitasking, usually. Still she’d never really been in a fight with other supers before, sure the occasional gang brawl but never anything she would actually worry about. It was different when the warehouse was being attacked, or people stormed the halls. It wasn’t something she was willing walking into then.
She tried to shake off the giddiness that was filling her. Her grandma always said idle hands led to too many thoughts. Granted she always had a few too many thoughts according to Ice. Either way the way to fix that was to work! She grabbed the package from outside the ship and went up. She sat down and dragged out her work tools only stopping as she heard Desmond seemingly introducing them. She took a quick moment to look up and gave a cheeky smirk.
“Oh yup yup we’re in the grim reaper squad. Nice ta meetcha Lils. Like Dessy said I’m Rally, though anything works.”
She got back to work as she saw the boy slump down and seemingly fall asleep again. She was taken a bit aback. Was he sick? Was taking him along even a good idea? The more she thought about it the less okay it seemed to her. She poked him in the cheek, yup very asleep. She moved slightly closer to him before she continued her work directing another comment to Lillian.
“He does this pretty often actually. I can watch over him but if he does it again I may need to ask the big bros about if he’s sick.”

    ----Time Skippy----

If there was one thing that always seemed really not okay to Rally it was explosions. She was dealing with far too many of them recently. After all one is fine, sure it may not be the best feeling but she’d dealt with five in the past day. This was getting excessive to the point where even she was fed up. After all fireworks were one thing, at least they were pretty. But senseless destruction is what they were suppose to be against right? Otherwise why’d she bother to join this crap.
She could already feel a pout coming on before Desmond had even fully woken up. She had put away most of her stuff into her backpack, leaving only a few poison needles attached to the belted holster packs. She stood up straightening out her cloak, that now that she thought about it still had a bit of blood on it. She’d need to clean it sooner or later.
“It’s okay Dessy, It’s just a hero. And we way outnumber him. We’ll only get to fight him if we’re lucky as he’s got two other teams on his tail.”
She barely had time to turn back as she heard someone speak from behind them when she got an armful of Desmond. She almost recoiled at the realization that people are heavy, next time she’d use her power.
She watched the man carefully as she held on to Desmond until she felt he wouldn’t fall. She took a step up to her Squad leader and the odd man. She looked back and forth between the two, feeling curiosity overtake her.
“Is this a test?....Ah who cares, me and Desmond are in. We’ll seeeeeee yaaaaa later Mr. Grim Reaper.”
She hooked her arm around Desmond's attempting to yank him forwards. She felt him resisting but for the most part ignored him and his complaints as she turned to Lilian. She put on her best puppy dog face before she started to talk to the woman.
“Lils you’re- Dessy stop resisting we gotta watch over each other like Sainty said- Anyways Lils come with usssssssss.”

Standing at 5'4" and weighing in at 120 LB, Prism is wearing her signature Kevlar outfit, her crimson red hair is hanging out of the sides and her titanium plague doctor mask has been knocked off from a previous assault. Prism's suit is disguising on it's own, and it shows off her physical features well, even in combat it makes her look exceptionally nimble. Prism's Mac-10 loaded with Hallow points has been longed emptied and holstered While her pistol stays inside of her jacket, her rifle is currently folded up and in her jacket. Her costume has many different vials, ammunition, and bombs on it, ready to be used at a moments notice. Her left eye often glows, a telltale sign of an implant.

Before Time-skip
Prism looked around herself to see the room quickly filling up, though the small of morphine had gone out of her system, she laid there. It was a pretty comfortable spot away from everyone else. Then squads were being assigned and she got put with some weird copy of her costume. This version was much more dark than Prism's suit neutral colors. Though after that Prism just stuck to the sides of the group listening to what ever speech was given to her, following the crowd to the boat. It was work time, it was time to get paid.

Prism paid close attention to all the mission details to the letter. After all if she doesn't pay close attention she might find herself in a tight spot. With that short briefing from Red, she took mental notes of every part she was given. Though for her pay-grade the information was lackluster. Most would give a bunch of hired guns a lil bit more information to prevent pure chaos. With that the boat took off and Prism started to work on her bombs, filling 3 bombs with the proper amounts of flash powder. Carefully setting the lever and holding it with the pin on each like clockwork. It didn't take long to make 3 flash grenades out of her little handmade tinkerer grenade casings.

After Time-Skip

Prism followed the group, for the time being anyways. She was no 'tank' nor was she able to dodge a bullet. 'I'm not suicidal; I need to get in a position I can actually help from' With that thought Prism split off from the main pack and found herself climbing up the fire escape of a 5 story building a decent distance away from the Ironhouse Outpost. Well decent for sniping distance, around 150 yards. Prism started to set up while on the roof, going into a cross legged sitting position and resting her rifle on her thigh while loading it and adjusting the scope. She was getting ready for the explosions, it seems that she made it to her spot a little bit early. Prism unfolded the bipod on her sniper rifle and waited, scoping out places were she can expect counter snipers and escape routes in the meantime.
Boom!!!-Boom!!!-Boom!!!
Prism's head perked up, there was 3 distinct explosions and a very nice firework show from across the street. Prism was set up facing the Distraction Squad and the front of the Ironhouse Outpost, allowing her to get a good view of almost the entire street save for behind the Ironhouse. Enough admiring the view, Prism went invisible along with her equipment and turned looked down the scope, moving her hand to the little knob on the top and getting the focus just right. Getting a perfect view of each one of the walking paychecks heads, if only that hero wasn't able to tank a headshot, at the most her bullets would feel like ant bites to that asshole. She had heard about his exploits on the news, then again he was all about fame. Prism whispered to herself softly as she looked over each target. Starting with Iron Quad and then each of his associates.
Pesky Iron asshole looks ready to fight...
tsk. tsk. tsk. Government can't even afford proper head armor, such a shame.
Maybe I should just kneecap one right now just to see how the others react...
I wonder if they wear armored cups- should I find out... not yet

With that Prism saw the first attack go out by some guy in glowing red armor. From our side of course, we needed to throw first punch. Now all Prism had to do was her job, her cross-hair trailed over one of the poor associates head. Then with a squeeze of a trigger, a silenced gunshot rang out and went barreling towards the furthest associate from Iron Quad. Then followed up with another shot towards the associate closest to Iron Quad's groin area.

Lilian secretly sighed in relief when the pair she approached turn out to be amiable person. Her experience with villains in her drug circle told her that everything could be worse. The dark side of law revealed the worst out of people. At least they were sociable enough, though their youth worried her a bit. Then again, she wasn't that much older, so she wasn't one to talk. She had her circumstances, and they would have them as well.

Desmond suddenly falling asleep like that was surprising nonetheless.

"Does he have narcolepsy? His symptoms don't show any sign of catalplexy when he fell asleep, so maybe it's something else? " She didn't have anything to help that on her. Amphetamine might help, but without a proper analysis she couldn't prescribe him a proper medication. Sometimes she wish she took medicine instead of pharmacy. Then again, if she took medicine, she wouldn't be here. She would still be at school. Maybe it was for the best.

"Narcolepsy aside, it's nice to meet both of you," she gave Rally and the sleeping Desmond a smile.

Post-time Skip Post

With the explosions about and what-not, Lilian thought went into designing herself a costume. Nothing too fancy or flashy, but one tailored for her needs when she went to fights like this. Eye contacts would be the first on her list. She often worried about her glasses when she moved about. The successive explosions went off, and noises started to blare into her ears. She had reduced the potency of several dopaminergic substances that increase the sensitivity of her hearing considerably, after her last encounter with the superhero that make use of sound. Even so, she could hear everything clearly, the weird declaration of Daberino, one of the supposed Elites, included.

"Is everyone in The New Anarchist this eccentric?" Lilian shook her head. Well, being part of the villains exposed you to different sides of humans you never see before. She would just go along. She took out an orange pill from a bottle and swallowed it. Physical Performance Booster. One dosage for an adult would amplify his physical capability to his limit for a few hours.... fifteen minutes in Lilian's case thanks to her immunity system. On another note, she didn't need to worry about addiction and aftereffect, and could cure them as well.

Lilian offered the bottle to Rally and Desmond.

"Take one. It will improve your physical capability for the next few hours," she explained duly. She took another bottle off her coat and tossed it to Death, "I think this will be useful for everyone."

Death doctors speech was too short to even call it that. His head was down nearly the whole time, deep in thought of just how he could live past this. He could let others die in his stead. He wouldn't even be troubled by it. He'd just turn his back and walk out as they died one by one. Or he could stay with them and risk dying. A thought that made his neural sensors quiver a bit. And as his thoughts ended, he came to. Realizing that he was nearly left behind by his company, he shook his head as the short barrel of a gun extended from his palm, a .308 bullet poised and at the ready. He knew others would take his spotlight from him. That there would be talks of them rather them him. He was disgusted by this notion, swearing to himself that this would be that battle that would carve him a name in this damn group already. His feet lifted from the ground. Walking by a group of... children. They were children here. Well, children to him at least. He didn't know their true ages, but their faces gave enough away. The face of a girl with piercings a dyed hair. It looked so young. This wouldn't be a place for her. Her walked behind her, looking at her company, all the while his arm holding his other, the barrel of his gun pointed down at the ground. There was a darker boy standing next to her, and another young woman talking to them. She looked older then them, about five, maybe six years or so. "So... young." Were the only words that escaped his mouth. Quietly, might I add. And only seconds later he found himself standing still, holding his mouth, tapping his foot, deep in thought of why of all people, children were here. They were young... so young! And instead of doing... whatever kids were supposed to be doing, they where here about to fight. They could oh so easily die. The grim reality he found himself observing was all to similar to that of the Children's Crusade. A blood bath waged by children against those who ruled them. Had this really been what the world had come to, children fighting against adults? They way that pierced girl spoke though, made him think otherwise. It wasn't monotone. It wasn't dead yet. There was a hope in them. In just about all there of them. The more and more he thought about it, the more and more perplexed he became about just how--. His mind was occupied with needless thoughts again. He had bumped into the back of the pierced girl. "... Terribly sorry about that." Was all he said, his head down still, his fake hair covering a bit of his face. He looked sad. An odd emotion for an android to feel, but an easy one to fake. And a useful one for making... 'friends'. He needed someone after all. This might prove to be useful.

Carbon Dragon.png

Alan || Carbon Dragon

Alan nodded toward the girl Paladin pointed towards, before letting go of his grip. While the other man's armor didn't appear to be as advanced as his, he more than made up for it by the experience he showed. Carbon couldn't explain why, but he just knew that Paladin has been around for a while, most likely his voice. Before conversation would be started they were gathered and out on the boats, heading towards their objective. On their way there the only talk was Red's explanation of their mission, which already seemed to contradict what he said about this team is the least likely to die. He looked around at his allies. Immediately he recognized a few faces from the group most notably Paladin and Bright, who he deemed as the most dependable in the group. He also recognized Acme from the warehouse, as well as one of the men in lighter armor. Lastly, he recognized one of the other men, one of the taller ones. It was the man who was with the girl in with the orange hair, an incident he had already forgotten about. The other three he hadn't recognized at all, although the one that he took an interest in on first glance was the girl who seemed to be slightly taller than he was and with the bone tail. An interesting look, but asides from that he had nothing on her. He marked all of them on his radar as teammates and waited for the landing.

After getting into position, three explosions sounded off at the outpost. He had recognized it, being one of the places that were fairly well guarded by the heroes. Of course, he had never been there nor did he know of the schematic but he was aware of its existence prior. That was Iron Quad and three armored men stepped out and began to face in their direction, waiting for them to make the first move. Red spoke and gave his instructions, pointing out the physical heavy hitters which included Alan. While they sat there Alan starred at Iron Quad, changing his former signature from non-threat to enemy including his men. Carbon was well aware of who he was, IQ was someone he recognized and knew of his powers. For the short time, he was a hero, Alan had access to certain heroes and IQ was one of them. Their work periods overlapped and IQ was a veteran, so his file at the time was good enough for a quick read. Of course, he didn't have access to the whole thing, but he did know of his power and potential weaknesses although he wasn't sure which were factual since military heroes like him were somewhat untrusted. That's when he noticed Atlas activate her powers, more than likely summoning the heavy hitter. Based on the conversation its name was Brutus, one of Atlas's demons he remembered but couldn't recall the name of.

He looked towards Brutus and exchanged a small greeting. "It's nice to see you again big guy." He said before turning to the rest of the group, deciding it would be best if they knew what IQ was capable of. "I know it's not my place, but the rest of you should know that Iron Quad is a strong hero. His super strength isn't something to be messed around with, if I weren't in here I'd be dead on the first hit." He said as he pointed towards IQ himself. "Bullets themselves won't work either or at least most, my rifle at most would case annoyance but nothing deadly despite the round type." That's when he reached for his rifle and jolted it off of his back slowly, beginning to hold it in position. "Lastly he has the ability to generate a magnetic field with his claps that will really ruin your day if you get to close, so we need something that can guard against him and this big thing is our best bet."

Bright If everything could just be resolved with a snap of a finger and flipping through Google, Pal, it wouldn't be that much fun, would it?” She gave a casual chuckle, as if this was just some trip to the beachside. With Red’s voice giving the orders above her own, she leaned in closer to Paladin, just so that her own voice could be heard. “Jokes aside, I’ve got nothing. Nothing important, that is. But, if you can make any use of it, it’d be great.” She breathed in, then started, “Full name’s Barrett Brandt, prefers soft drinks, especially Coke, over alcohol, frequents Soul’s Colors several blocks down from the Hero HQ, has a profile on Tinder and Grindr, and I can’t get a hit on his SSN. Hearsay his tactics are to slap people dead with his super strength, and tank everything with his super strength. You don’t get a simpler MO than that.” Bright snapped her fingers, a wry smile on her face. “That’s all I got. With a super simple power like his, there’s really nothing I can go off on. Sorry.” She shrugged, her expression betraying the fact that she was not very sorry at all.

Oh, right, I forgot to mention. I brought these.” Bright stepped to one side as the rest of the team prepared to sortie, and pushed a green ammunition crate in front of her, between her and her partner. “Incendiary rounds, 5.56, .20 gauge, 7.62, the likes. Threw in some .50 cals as well, if you’re feeling up for it. I don’t know if I’ve told you, Pal, but I’m a great fan of incendiary shotgun blasts, but,” she made to squint at the distance between them and the target, “I don’t think I’ll be getting my wish today, so just set someone on fire for me. Now, let’s get some distraction done.”

Bright stepped forwards and looked up at the skies. The sun hovered above, watching- today was a nice day. She exhaled, and pushed back her hair from her face, smoothing down the blonde locks. She plucked the shades off her face, and, still pinching one of its arms in between her fingers, she stretched out her free hand. “Suppressive fire, if you will, my friend. Keep ‘em pinned down for me.

A continuous beam of bright yellow blasted forwards from the palm of her hand, aimed towards Barrett and friends. If the sheer wind pressure from the speed of the beam’s initial impact didn't send Iron 4’s compadres falling over, then the extreme heat that emanated from the beam would slow cook them in their own armor. She slowly drew the beam across, giving them a good, balanced exposure to some focused solar energy, making good a threat that if she was not focused on, they would be roasted alive should she so much as turn their way.

"Would put me out of work real quick." He offered an agreeing retort to the woman's joke. Even as he spoke to Bright his gaze was locked firmly on Red, or at least his helmet was. Indeed the only sign that he even acknowledged Bright's info-dump was the fact that his head was slightly tilted towards her. True to her word nothing she said was that important. Some useful tidbits if this was a long-term assignment. But nothing that would help in a direct confrontation. A quiet, gruffy sigh escaped his helmet at the mention of his fighting style. The tanky powerhouses were some of the most annoying to fight. Literal bullet sponges and he was getting too old for all the acrobatics necessary to keep himself from having a very bad day. Bright's changing of the subject stole his focus from Red to her, and then down at the crate by her feet. He let out a small snort of air at her remark about the shotgun blasts causing him to reach over his back an gently tap the shotgun slung there.

"I'll do my best to make you happy." He squatted down, rummaging through the ammunition as he spoke. Pulling out the incendiary shotgun shells he slung them around his waist. He had the shotgun on his back in an X-shape with his sword. On his chest was both a large combat knife as well as large assault rifle hanging downwards. His waist was already packed with goodies, from his usual pouches and dual pistols to another knife and now the line of shotgun shells. Resting on the small of his pack lay a second sword resting horizontally with a large caliber sniper rifle attached directly to it. Upon his thighs lay a pair of compact SMGs with a pair of smaller knives near his ankles. While he had ammunition for all his weapons he knew Bright would keep him supplied and so there was very little ammo covering his form, at least there was. Somehow it seemed as if he had strapped the entire crate's contents to his armor. "I don't know about this Quad guy, I'll leave him to you. Everyone else?" He finished loading the incendiary shell into his shotgun, making a show of it just for her. "I can handle everyone else."

As if on cue they arrived at their destination, making their way to their target. He looked over at one of the people assigned to their little squad. A mutant girl with claws and a tail and, no clothes. She was talking to one of the useful kids from the warehouse. His reaction did not go unnoticed by the seasoned warrior, either. "What's the matter, kid? Never seen a naked woman before?" He shook his head at the innocent display before looking over the assembled team. Everyone was all gung-ho as they reached the Ironhouse. The bashful saint hurling an attack at one of Quad's men. The masked Faust firing off his own form of attack at another henchman. Coming up from the rear was the hulking brute summoned by the girl sticking to Red's side. His fellow armored soldier decided to take the opportunity to expound a little more information. Information even Bright didn't have. The super strength and durability was already known, but some magnetic clap was new. While his armor wasn't very magnetic, a sufficiently powerful force could cause problems. Now, whether Quad could create magnetic forces that powerful or not was the question.

Looking over he saw even Bright moving forward. He stole a quick glance skyward at the hanging sun above before dropping his focus on Quad and his associates. He'd seen Bright fight in the day on more than once occasion. Of all the foes, and potential foes, Bright ranked up there at the top of people he didn't want to fight. Even with her control the heat emanating from her palm influenced him through his armor. His suit's temperature was regulated through the bodyglove, but it wasn't meant for extreme heat and that's exactly what Bright was firing off. He grabbed the rifle hanging on his front, pulling it into a proper posture and taking aim at the associates. With all the attacks being flung out he opened fire, quick concise bursts directed at each of the armored associates as he made his way for cover. While it'd be nice if they went down from the opening barrage his focus was more on seeing just how durable that armor was before driving them into cover so they couldn't fire on Bright.

Levith

That's it. She's done waiting for someone to fight with. She got down on all four of her limbs as she took off into a sprint, jumping as she flung herself from the rooftop she was on, down to the land below. Quickly looking around her as she fell, she saw the big busted swordswoman from before. 'Maybe she would help in her fight?' she though to herself as her legs took the impact of her fall, her feet imprinting on the ground below her, cracking it abit. "Hey!" she pointed at the woman with the sword and yelled loudly at her. "Wanna help me out? We'd work better then if we just went solo." Levith said to her, looking at the woman before turning her head and looking back at the squad of armored men, with a female figure looking to lead them. She stood up straight, her legs spread widely on the cracked ground below her as her arms are raised to her head, bundled into fists, her claws retracted. "Make up your mind soon if you don't mind. I'd like to get started killing things as soon as possible" she said to the woman, who now, reeked of that... horrid drink. Alcohol. She hated it. Made her sick to her stomach. But she could live through the stench if it meant getting a good fight out of it. She just hoped that the busty woman wasn't too drunk to just flat out ignore her.
