Kane was born and raised in Busan by his mother and father, owners of a fried chicken restaurant. Having discovered his love for music at a relatively young age, his parents were very strict with him on his studies. They told him they'd only let him practice as long as he kept his grades up and studied abroad at least once. Because he was a very filial son, Kane listened and developed his workaholic habits of studying, doing music, and not really going out much. However, thanks to his dedication, he was a very skilled musician by the time he went to Canada for a year.

While in Toronto, Kane discovered a JYP audition. There he auditioned, passed, and was eventually recruited as a trainee. When he returned home, his parents were very much against his dream of becoming an artist, but they couldn't stop him. Kane eventually transferred to a school in Seoul and began his life as a dedicated trainee.

Four years later, Kane debuted as a solo hip-hop artist and befriended many idols such as Jay Park and Simon D. He topped the charts multiple times, but he wasn't completely satisfied or happy. The one thing he wanted to do more than sing or rap was actually make music. His boss didn't like that, however, so his last two years with JYP were very strained. Eventually, however, he was asked to join AOMG and become a main music producer.

Since then, Kane has found more success and happiness. People know him as the 'genius hit maker' and he was even named one of the sexiest men in Korea for a year. Because he spends so much time making music instead of going out and meeting fans, however, Kane developed a false image. Bio: Mia was born and raised in London until she was 17, the only child of two Korean immigrant parents. She was raised to be traditional and didn't blend in well with kids in her neighborhood and at school. She was the only asian in the whole school, it didn't help that Korean was her first language and she was only conversant in English. She was always mistreated by her peers and was called racial slurs. Her parents kept telling her to ignore her bullies and focus on her studies, at that point she didn't feel appreciated by anyone and grew distant from her parents. The only escape she could find from all her pain was in music and singing. Music theory was her favorite class in primary and secondary school, her teachers would tell her she had the voice of an angel, and even tried out to be in the school choir. She took up guitar in her late teens and would write her own songs. When she was 18 she and her parents moved to Busan where she would attend university. She so desperately wanted to do music technology, but her parents insisted she do something science related and go to med school. She insisted but her parents wouldn't pay for her education if she didn't do a medical related education or an alternative degree where a high salary was guaranteed.



But her decision was set from the get go and she did music theory, so when Mia started school she started applying for work. At that point she was maintaining a balance between different part time jobs she would have throughout one semester and her studies. Her first semester of uni was pretty dull to her. So she dropped out after her second semester. Her parents scoffed at her and eventually kicked her out. With what money she had left she bought her own apartment in Uijeongbu-si working many jobs to pay her rent. Hear she would dedicate herself to a music career, at first she posted her own music online. They were only acoustics but she gained notoriety within a few months, pulling in a fanbase of tens of thousands. Feeling confident in herself, she auditioned for YG to be a soloist. She was signed by the agency at 19 and the trainee process for her was 5 years. She debut at 24 under YG's sub label, HIGHGRND and released many successful singles, during her career she started picking up other skills like dj-ing and improving her production skills. She is a quick and growing artist with a steady following.

Personality wise, Kazumi is seemingly outgoing and bright person, hiding her insecurities behind her bright smile. DEBUT: 18 (korean age), so shes been in the industry for roughly 5 years.

Despite having three older brothers and one younger one, her family is far from close. Her mother was a traveling journalist who spent a lot of time out of Japan, and her father dedicated his life to the popular restaurant he owned and founded. So when it came to family, it was just Kazumi and the boys. Although their relationship was strained, the group has always helped and supported one another, always working together even if they didn't get along. Their mom came home and raised them when Kazumi was already 11 years old, her older brothers being over 13 already. So only the youngest managed to have some form of connection to their mom.

Kazumi was actually once a naturally outgoing and confident person. She had many friends and had been active in school activities. If she had a problem, her brothers were naturally there to defend her. It truly didn't start going downhill until she was 15 years old. Her mother and father couldn't be in the same room together let alone breathe around each other. Arguments were 24/7 to the point it finally ended with divorce. Her brothers and she blamed their mother, and when she took off leaving them behind again after taking them from their father, they resented her more.

She was 16 when she started dating, the first relationship was okay and ended on friendly terms, but the second ruined her confidence and self-image. After finally getting away from her second relationship, she pushed away any of her remaining friends because she couldn't handle the constant self doubting in her head. Her brothers noticed the change of course, and when one went abroad to Korea, he decided to take her with him in hopes of improving. She was easily swept up in the music industry and she found her muse in her pain. Kazumi debuted at 18, her brothers her number 1 supporters, but she never felt proud of herself or in her work. Despite the small improvements, she was still damaged by what her friends and her relationship had caused. Now at 23, she auditioned for the show because her fans highly requested it, and her brothers encouraged her to and she couldn't bring herself to say no.

biography

[div class=scroll]YB and his twin sister were known trouble makers when they were young. Soo Mi and hims were a loud mess, and still are when they are together, although she would wrestle him to the group if he dared try to prank her now a days. YB grew up around music, his sister was a beautiful singer, his mother was a choreographer that could talk about music all day if she so wished, and his father was a music producer for his own entertainment company that he retired from when YB was 14 years old. His family was, and still remains very close and he will often message and call his siblings and parents when he can, and tries to visit as much as his career choice allows him to.


YB's personal obbsession with music began in his early 'pre'-teens. While his sister could sing melodies and well, any song you threw at her, he was more into rapping and the hip-hop stlye of music. After convincing his father to teach him about writing and composing music, he began to experiment on his own.


When they were 16, YB and his sister both became trainees at the same company, but after a while Soo Mi left and became a part of a different one where she debuted in a group called Honey. YB however stuck to the same company and debuted as a soloist and rapper, writing his own music and music for others.

background: minhou was born in seoul, but his father is unknown. his mother never told him, even though she loved the man since high school. when he was 4, his mother fell in love with an american, and fled south korea to live with her new boyfriend. minhou lived in ohio for a few years, but at the age of 14, he and his mother returned to korea after a divorce. his step-father was a drunk who abused his mother for many years, and the relationship finally broke. however, adjusting back to korean society was tough on minhou - he felt like an outcast. his korean was pretty good but english became more of his language than korean. he was poked fun at in school and it hurt him - so minhou decided to reclaim his identity and own it. he started making fun of himself - randomly bursting into english and making jokes about stereotypical americans, presenting himself as one. humor became his only shield, and minhou found his calling - acting. such funny, humorous approach soon made him popular in school - he was fun to hang around, always relaxed and chill, never mad. nobody ever figured that such approach was a way of coping with deep self-loathing and insecurities minhou dealt with.

debut: actually, minho's first debute was on the internet. with a group of friends he filmed a series of online gags where he poked fun at various things - from personal relationships to film genres. he also published a few indie films of his own, and was noticed by Next Entertainment World CO and offered a job as an actor and screenwriter on new popular comedy-drama show: Girl Who Wore Orange Ribbons.

[div class=scroll]eunseo teases that fine line between obnoxious and cute, though some would argue that she is both. she'll definitely get on your nerves more than once, but you'll grow to enjoy her company because there's just something oddly endearing about her loudness.

eunseo's very excitable and laughs at just about anything, even the most unfunny jokes. she has an insatiable curiosity for finding out about other people, but tends to rattle off questions around strangers, which is usually very overwhelming for the latter. very sociable, eunseo has never had trouble forming connections. she seems to radiate sunshine, who can resist? undoubtedly, however, eunseo's personality would come across as annoying to more than a few. it's clear she may not be everyone's cup of tea.

towards elders and seniors, eunseo takes care to be polite and respectful. having been brought up in a household where the hierachy was maintained quite strictly, she tries not to speak out of line or with too much of a familiar tone around people older than her unless the two are close. even then, she finds herself slipping into a more formal tone out of habit. it may be difficult for seniors to get her to drop the formalities.

eunseo is known to be shady and petty in competitive variety shows, often pulling small tricks and cheating a little bit to pass challenges or sabotage her rivals, though if she ever gets caught she just laughs it off. that said, her desire to win is very clear, and she will try her hardest and put in twice as much effort than usual if there is a competition. eunseo hates losing but has unbeatable tenacity. even if she stops attacking it for a moment, more often than not she will return to see it through.

though she tends to be very blunt and forward with her words, it comes more from her being oblivious than having any sort of malicious intent, and she is quick to apologise if people were to bring up grievances against her. eunseo is undeniably sweet, and cares greatly for her friends; she feels terrible if she were to hurt any of their feelings. that said, perhaps her inability to properly read others' subtle emotions should be something that she should improve on. eunseo is able to understand obvious social cues, but otherwise she's pretty blind. her forwardness coupled with her not-as-bright mind could lead to many concluding that she's pretty dumb.

outwardly, eunseo is like an open-book, with every emotion very visibly seen. she's the one that laughs the loudest and cries the hardest at movie theatres. that said, she takes care to never speak of her own issues or show sadness over personal issues. she's always been the shoulder to cry on rather than the one in tears, herself not having many issues. that said, in the event of an actual issue that is damaging her emotional state, eunseo is more than likely to keep her iconic smile on rather than let others know that she's hurting. she has many friends, but the only one she has truly let in is soyeon.

[div class=scroll]eunseo was born in daegu, south korea, but subsequently moved to san francisco when she was about 4. she doesn't remember much of the early years she spent in south korea, but speaks fondly of her grandparents who remained in daegu and looked after her everytime the family went back to visit.

eunseo had been doing ballet even when she was in korea, and continued to do so after the move, attaining grade 6 in classical ballet before branching out into contemporary and hip-hop. throughout middle school and high school, eunseo would continue to pursue her passion for the performing arts, participating in her school's choir as well. her grades were mediocre at best, but her parents were supportive of her talents and interests, though they maintained that she should still focus on her studies come junior and senior year.

when she started high school, she began to become interested in k-pop, which eventually pushed her to sign up for the SM global auditions in san francisco at age 15 alongside a friend. eunseo passed, and after some persuasion, convinced her parents to let her go. she moved to south korea and continued her education in SOPA while undergoing rigorous training to become an idol. she was officially announced as a member of sm rookies in 2014.

eunseo nearly cracked under the pressure and quit during her trainee period, but meeting soyeon helped her through that difficult period. that's the main reason why they're so close, but eunseo has never spoken in detail of her almost dropping out, brushing over the topic whenever asked about it and having only admitted to it briefly in an early interview.

she debuted as main dancer and lead vocalist of the 4-member girl group Wish in march, 2017.

Debuting at a young age was hard. The spotlight was on you, despite only being 16. She debuted a soloist, but after a few years of being with her company she left. She signed with a different agency a few months later, continuing her solo activities and had recently started acting then as well, getting smaller roles until she worked up to her first lead role. She met her new bandmates soon after. They were cute and young trainees and she was just delighted to be apart of a band, and not continuing to be alone. They worked hard and a few months later they had debuted. Her fans were shocked, they had never thought she would stop solo activities and join a band, but they were mostly supportive and she was thankful.

Of course, being in the spotlight for 9 years has its downfalls, constant rumors were made about her, people trying to sabotage her career and saying that she didn't deserve to be in a band and she was just using them. This also caused issues for her bandmates too. People weren't exactly nice to them, saying they were riding off Jisoos fame. Jisoo of course quickly cut that down in a long angry social media post, telling them to leave her bandmates alone.

It was a struggle for awhile, but finally people are starting to leave them alone, and the group can finally promote in peace. When she got the letter for the show, she was pretty terrified. Despite her persona of being wild and loud, she was a bit wary of strangers. She didn't want them to hate her, and with all of the drama that had surrounded her just a year ago she felt like she would just be a bother to everyone. After convincing from her bandmates she agreed to go, leaving there dorm to be on a show where she would be living with strangers.

She was especially nervous knowing her bandmate, Soo Mi's twin brother would be on the show. She didn't know much of him honestly, they hadn't really met many times and she only ever saw Soo Mi's parents because he was so busy.
