After the Human-Covenant War, many post-war conflicts arose from the pyrrhic human victory and collapse of the Covenant. From the Battle of Draetheus V to Ealen IV the United Earth Government fought numerous engagements with various Covenant Remnants and during later stages the Prometheans. One day that all changed when the Created began it's campaign of the dominance of the galaxy late 2558. The year is now 2580, and everything was not forgotten from the events some twenty years ago. Far out in the Orion Arm there exists a new colony named after the grand ship that first laid sights on her, Infinity, and she has grown to become the largest outer colony and is one of few under UEG jurisdiction. The new Spartan-V soldiers trained on Infinity, some of the UNSCs ships built on the planet, and she is the port and current builder of the latest Infinity-class supercarriers: UNSC Leviathan, completed in 2578, and UNSC Apollo, hull struck in 2580.
In the year 2580, this remote paradise would forever change as a resurgent, and dominant Covenant Remnant faction known as the Enduring Conviction launched a massive operation on the planet. With a vast fleet and immense numbers, they waged war with the people and soldiers of Infinity. Spartan, this planet is what is keeping the peace in the outer colonies, if she falls then we'll experience another rebellion. Her resources and position are too valuable, the UNSC has invested a lot into this planet, and we'll be damned to see it wasted. Take arms soldier, and teach these Covenant bastards to never mess with a Spartan.
