To take it more seriously, set in a galaxy far far away in the future. Some bounty hunters in the Red nova click steal and deliver some heavily guarded cargo, dropping the cargo off at Humanity-2 the second space station primarily run by humans. Our hero's quickly find out that they have committed war crimes against the universe... The cargo was a living corpse, a thing infused with alien nanotechnology and a mutating virus. The only reason it hadn't broken out of its containment is because it hadn't been able to sense enough life on the ship.
Upon reaching the labs of Humanity 2 the corpse broke loose and brought a zombie apocalypse to the space station.
You (as a disgraced member of the Red nova) need to fix this shit.
Otherwise you shall live forever being chased by the Red nova gang and the Galactic Forcers
(Think Jedi, the Forcers are space wizards who use magic and laser swords to enforce the rules an shit)
Mind you to "Fix this shit" you and your allies will need to fight your way on and off space stations, planets and even Ark ships infected with the virus.
