Bianca rested on her desk chair with a neutral expression, flipping through the sheets of a novel with boredom. Her wooden desk was covered with disordered articles and unknown documents of sorts, she shoved up her reading glasses, giving a meager sigh. Her disordered room laid still, nothing else except the sounds of pages turning between her fingertips.
It was presumably quite late, she didn't keep track of the time. She glanced at the flashing electric clock on her nightstand. Just like she thought, 12:47 am.
"So much for a good night's rest," She mumbled, gradually rising from her chair. Her head felt heavy, she concluded it was a good time to hit the hay. She wiped her face, tiredly dropping her glasses on her desk.
The stars peeked through her open drapes, she dragged her tired self to her bed. The thought of rest made her calm. Her thoughts slowed. As she rested on the bed. Her safe place. A cozy serenity. She toppled onto it, relieved to rest her weary feet. Warmth and darkness enveloped her.
Suddenly, her chest felt heavy. She felt as if she were stuck, half asleep but wide awake. Her heart began to beat with force, her brain filling up with unlogical and unreasonable thoughts.
She shot up, immediately opening her eyelids and catching her breath, clenching her shirt. Once she calmed down for a second, she looked around.
Shocked, she was in an entirely separate point, she was now resting on the grass. It was moving in steady waves. There was something about it, their movement synchronized yet independent, their hues so close yet unique. And while they danced in that way, came the song of crickets and the chirps of birds content to be warmed by gentle rays. A gentle wind blowing her long hair from her face, she stood, not knowing how she got her.
"Where am I?" She questioned, utterly startled. She quickly got onto her feet, holding her arms.
