It is said that Moore, the world of a thousand mountain top nations, exists in a state of perpetual war. Be it from whims of a mad king, the greed of a pirate lord, or the ambitions of a young lord, Moore and her people have had a hundred different wars within the span of a thousand years, but none of them can compare to what happens now in the world above the clouds. Two powerful nations had emerged, swallowing all those around her, and it was inevitable they would meet and with both sides unwilling to bend to the other, they had kept apart for two generations. But as land and resources began to dwindle, the United Peaks Republic and the Empire of Molei have waged more and more territorial skirmishes. And now a storm is slowly building, slowly growing as both super powers begin to prepare for the oncoming storm, and many fear that in the storm's wake, none shall survive.
In the middle of this growing storm, conflict still exists within and outside the borders of the Empire, the Republic and the neutral territories. The Dragon Riders of Moore fly day after day in the defense of their homelands and people from beasts, bandits and even the forces of the hungering superpowers. Not all riders belong to a nation however. Those known as Free Riders, Dragon Riders who simply exist as mercenaries, adventurers and free spirits fly in the name of themselves and their own ideals. They have become quite popular with the neutral territories, as a small portion of a kingdom's treasury is worth the safety provided by a single Free Rider.
Today however, a greater power had been called to the Empire of Molei, where a client had sent a letter to any and all Riders willing to listen. They have quite the offer. A small fortune of gold, enough to buy an entire peak, for any rider willing to answer. The job...the letter had failed to answer. Still, it gave you all directions towards Lolei, the captial city of the Empire of Molei. Around you are the glistening, and freshly painted peaks, adorned with buildings made of stone and wood, and decorated with exotic trees and flowers form all corner of their empire. You all meet in the corner of a small open air pub, where riders often sit to discuss tales of valor, and stories of epic journeys. But for now, you sit and wait alongside your mounts, as a mysterious woman, dressed in a velvet cloak, adorned with glittering purple leaves sewn into the fabric, walks up to the table. "I trust your journeys have not been too troublesome? With everything going on, I wouldn't be surprised if you had to be stopped a dozen times, just to allowed through the first checkpoint." She said. The voice was that of a young lady, soft yet stern. Anything else however is quite absent to you all, as her cloak hides the shape of her body, and the features of her face.
