Personality: Emma is a girl that is as sweet as honey and filled with innocence, who loves making people happy and doesn't understand a lot of stuff yet. Being too naive and pure coming into the foster care system as a baby she doesn't quite understand their situation that they're in and thinks its completely normal, not understanding why her brother and foster siblings seem to not like it at times. So she's made it her duty to help her all the other kids to feel happy like she does!

Absolutely loves My little pony and most likely relistens to its music all the time, her favorite movie is the My little pony friendship is Magic movie. Strawberry shortcake(both the show and the food but rarely gets the food), stars. The color pink, skirts, dresses, very girly clothing, rainbows, and grass.

Personality: Hard working, Caring, friendly, Independent, Protective of who he really cares about, resourceful.

Background: William Clarke was the result of a drunken one night stand. His mother was heavily addicted to drugs and would rather get high than pay attention to her child. When he was 5 his father had won custody of him and he went to live with him. Although his father wasn't addicted to drugs he was heavily involved in crime. At the age of 10 his father was killed in a drive by shooting when he was in school. William was then sent to live in foster care as his mother was deemed unfit by the courts and he had no other living family to go to. William remembers fondly of living with his father and misses him dearly. Now at the age of 17 Will is determined to finish high school and attend higher education to go against everything his parents were. He also plans to with the money he made working his job get his own place and get custody of his little sister when he turns 18.

Flaws: Easily discouraged and pessimistic, nihilism to the point of it being a problem, has difficulty feeling any motivation to improve himself

Personality: Danny learned from an early age that one of the best ways to cope was by turning anything and everything into a joke. He uses humor as a way to distance himself from the situation to the point where it's difficult to talk to him past his cutting sarcasm or hyperbole. Danny is a very empathetic person, even if he pretends not to be, and feels things very deeply. He cries rather easily, which is something he considers to be an annoyance.

Background (TW): Daniel remembers very little of the house he lived in as a child, and the few memories he does have are of a filthy kitchen and bugs crawling in his room. He was born addicted to methamphetimines due to his mother's frequent use, and was removed from his parent's house at age six. Though he avoided any serious defects, it took Daniel a very long time to learn how to walk, and he has difficulty with school as a direct result of the drugs. His initial place of residence was a group home, where he shared a room with a much older boy who regularly threatened with a knife if he attempted to cross onto his side of the room. He was shuffled from foster home to foster home until the present day, with families either not wanting to deal with his emotional difficulties or deciding he was too old for them.

Why are they in foster care?: Parental drug abuse and unfit living conditions

Do they actually go to school, or do they skip a lot?: Despite his difficulties with school, Danny attends regularly. It's an excuse not to be at home.

What chores to they typically do?: Keeping the little ones entertained, basic things like dishes and sweeping, though he does need to be asked in order to do them.

He still remembers his mother and the beat down trailer they shared, as much as he wishes he didn't. It'd be easier if so.

The carpet could barely be called such, dirt, food, and other... less than pleasant substances caking the floor. The windows were often broken. It wasn't uncommon to wake up to the sounds of hard knocking, men showing up at their door at god forsaken hours of the night. Never knew what they were there for, didn't want to know, wanted to just go back to sleep, the visits putting Mama in a foul mood the next day.

It hadn't always been like that, he knew. It started when he was going into the 1st grade with his dad passing. He never knew why, however much he'd ask. His mother grew distant, guilt in her eyes when she saw him, the smiles on her once beautiful face only returning with a bottle or needle in her hand. He was taken away and shuffled around the foster system when he turned 9, after his mother was caught in a drug sting.

Appearance: Standing at 5'5, light blue eyes and blond hair. Despite her appearance, Sloan tries her best to keep in shape. She prefers dark colors over bright, a necklace of a key hangs around her neck.

Personality: Sloan's a bit standoffish when you'd first meet her. It takes a while for her to warm up and be comfortable with someone other than family. She's gentle but doesn't show it much unless it's a situation where she feels like it's okay to let down that wall for a few small moments. Some may not see it in her, but she has her street smarts among her book smarts. The only thing she isn't overly insecure about is her brain, not that she'd brag in the first place, but she knows what she's good at, and knowing things is just of one of them. Or well, maybe that's just her only redeemable quality. She's 'sneaky,' and that could mean a number of things, she's light on her feet, quiet, maybe even secretive with her feelings. Check that bubble for all the above, even though she tries her hardest to hide herself, Sloan's typically an emotional person but tends to keep it to herself instead of opening up to anyone else unless pushed.

Sloan grew up in a working class family, nothing was extremely simple. Though nothing wasn't as hard either, they were the perfect family. Being an only child had it perks, though she felt lonely most of the time. Everyone's parents argue. It wasn't as bad. Or so, she thought anyway at a young age.

Growing up, it wasn't as perfect as she remembered it to be. Money got tight, health issues came to light and it wasn't her parents. More than a few 'act ups' at school had caught the attention of her parents and she was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder.

Tension between her parents rose and it resulted in more arguments than usual. Sloan wasn't very surprised when it happened but it did. Her father wasn't physically abusive towards her, although her mother was a different story altogether. It was rare but it happened more than once.

One day, after an extremely long day at school and with a certain cheerleader who was nothing but rude, it set the blonde in a bad mood already. An intense argument between her parents had broke out and he'd cornered her mother in between the stove threatening to turn it on as he did so, and Sloan wasn't sure if it was fear or pure rage as he turned the knob and pushed her face closer to the fire, and this time she got a chance to intervene. She pushed him and he stumbled away from her mother, and it was weird how in that specific moment? He didn't feel like her father, he felt like a stranger. And self defense is self defense right? Everything after that was blur. The most Sloan remembers is blood on her hands and her mother screaming. It wasn't like she fully intended to hurt him. She just... wanted it all to stop.

And so it did, and nothing was the same since.

Why are they in foster care?: After the... incident with her parents, police arrived and instead of being placed in juvy, the judge had confirmed it was self-defense and saw the household to be 'unfit.' Therefore moving Sloan into several group homes until she landed on this one.

Do they have something to remember their previous homes?: Sloan has a key to her old home that's on a chain around her neck.

Do they actually go to their school or do they skip a lot?: 50-50. She'll go unless she sees a reason not to.

What chores do they typically do? 'Cleans up' here and there to make it appear like she's doing something. She can actually cook well, prefers not to. Laundry on occasion. Will do dishes only if there's turns.

Background: Hanna was married before and even had a child of her own who she hated until her husband and daughter died in a tragic accident she was a work at the time. She married her fathers best friend 20 years her senior and they had a two-year-old daughter.
