Ordinado, California: A quiet central Californian town, of no real importance to anyone who doesn't live in it. It's the sort of place you'd pass by without a thought, except maybe to stop and get some gas. To you and 15000 other people, though, it's home. Time slugs by in this sleepy town, but every day just seems like a repeat of the last. In the morning, all the adults head off to their jobs, mainly in the factories on the east end of town. You, and all your friends, go to school at Smith High School, home of the Lieutenants. In the evening, you all go home, maybe hang out if it's nice outside, then you go to bed and do it all again. You can't wait to get out of here, because it seems like there's just never anything interesting going on in Ordinado. Except of course for the all-powerful reality bender who's bent the entire town to her will. You know, the one that goes to the same high school as you.
Of course, you don't know it, but the very force that has enslaved your town is actually Merylyn Garnett, the most popular girl in school. She's a straight A student, and athletic powerhouse, an important member of almost all the school's clubs, and has had a relationship with basically every boy in her grade (and some of the girls too). She also secretly controls the school's faculty, many of the local businesses, the police force, and the local government, but again, none of you know what. In your friends group, one person realizes what Merylyn really is. One person sees through her deceptions and her innocent personality and sees the face of a tyrant. One person knows that the number of people who disappeared after looking to close into her life can't be a coincidence. And, with you and the rest of your friend's help, they will find a way to topple her reign for good. The only problem is....

So basically, the idea behind this RP is that it will be a humorous deconstruction of the concept of the Mary Sue. An all powerful being known simply as a Meri-Su has taken control of a small Californian town, and disguised herself as a teenage girl, who happens to become the most popular one at the local high school. You play a group of friends at the high school she goes too. The lovely lady herself will be played by me. So, one person in your friend group knows about Merylyn's secret, and leading the rest of you sets out to defeat her and free the city from her grasp. Action, mystery, and good old teenage hijinks are sure to ensue!
