In this world, humans have pushed the boundaries of dangerous magic land back, taking land and burning forests. They hurt many races, others have become extinct. One of those kingdoms was the Kingdom of Fauna, a race of animal-like humans. Although similar, the humans feared them and forced the kingdoms borders to shrink as they did others. After centuries of war a truce was made and out of a treaty, the Fauna may take back land, as long as it is unoccupied by humans. Slowly they have been regaining land, not by murder but by integrating humans into their society. Entire towns and cities have joined Fauna, but something about it isn't right. None of the people who join the kingdom has ever been seen again. It's rumored they were tricked or eaten, others say that they forced the humans into slavery, and they wouldn't be far off. Humans that join the kingdom succumb to a spell that has been placed by Fauna's magic council. The humans that have become a beast like the citizens of Fauna, but are clearly marked by a red V on the back of their hand/paw and are cast as slave class citizens. The transformation can take anywhere from minutes to weeks and as a safety measure, turned humans are conditioned to be submissive and accepting of their new roles, although some resist and cause problems. A few years ago a human snuck into the capital city and killed four citizens, one of them was a child. Since then their borders have closed and they stopped gaining land. Now it's time for them to come out of their isolationism, under the rule of the newly appointed Empress. Cautious, only a few humans have been allowed to join the city and have been invited to stay at the castle, unknowingly to become its new staff.
This RP is about the humans that joined the reintegration process, and the humans that have turned years ago as well as normal citizens. Will they rebel and try to escape? Or maybe accept their fate. Will they overthrow the royal bloodline and take control?
