Example Sheet

Name: Sir Calistan, Royal Advisor
House: House Pallisti
Age: 37
Sex: Male
Image/Physical Description:
583762
Description: A royal advisor whom has served three different kings, Sir Calistan of House Pallisti arrived to Tarkesia as the child of a slave before being saved and raised to become a servant of the Royal Council. After all there is no greater honor than aiding the kings, queens and lords of the obsidian throne. During his many years of faithful service Calistan has earned the reputation for being a neutral party. He will never take sides nor will he openly share his own opinions unless ordered. In all sense he's a loyal servant and a great comfort to newly crowned royals yet to familiarize themselves with handling the realm.
Goal: Serve Tarkesia to the day he die.

Name: Lord Medwin, Duke of Keles, Lord of Fangdor Citadel
House: House Baldrey
Age: 23
Sex: Male
Image/Physical Description:

584052
Description:
Medwin's mother, Mera, was the sister of King Haedric and was married off to House Baldrey as part of an agreement between the crown and the Verus, Duke of Keres to secure their loyalty. Mera soon after bore Verus a son and secured not only his bloodline but also the alliance between House Baldrey and House Jyrkan. Being not only firstborn, but also having relation to the crown, Medwin grew to have an ego as well as an unrivaled arrogance when coming to his status as he grew up and trained within his father's lands. And with the downfall of the Jyrkan dynasty from the Obsidian Throne, his arrogance has only grown as he now sees himself as not only a claimant to the throne, but also as the only rightful claimant.

Medwin as a person is known to be bold and arrogant, but also possesses a mighty charisma that inspires those around him and has gathered the full support of the lords of Keles with his uncompromising behavior. Along with this, he is a formidable swordsman and is particularly skilled with using his familial heirloom, Lionsbane: a large sword said to have been forged with magic and dragonfire many centuries ago for the use by the Storm Kings.

Goal: Claim the Obsidian Throne and become King

  • Name: Nemir Cesti.
Applicable Titles: Lady. Caliph. Judicator. Captain Buzzkill.
    House: D'eshem.
    Gender: Female.
    Age: 36.
    Alignment: Lawful Evil.
    Occupation: Judicator of Idis.
    City of Birth: Thessiria.

Goals
Nemir wishes for nothing more than to bring about what she considers to be Tarkeesia's rightful end. She believes that Haedric's rule has left not only an irremovable stain on the Kingdom, but doomed it to utter ruin. With the Golden Coast in a state of constant turmoil, Nemir believes that war is inevitable. She'd already prepared to march there herself, hoping to stem the growing tide of rebellion. But with Haedric's sudden death, and a now empty throne Nemir was forced to reconsider her choices.

With Houses from all over Tarkesia converging on Dawncliff to take the Throne for themselves, Nemir sees the potential for great disaster.

But also for even greater opportunity.

Now she instead marches for Dawncliff, prepared to take any measures necessary to claim the Obsidian Throne for herself. With Takrkesia under her heel, Nemir will be granted the power to dismantle the systems that have allowed the Kingdom to fester. The spectre of Haedric's shameful rule will be wiped from memory, and the illusion of Tarkesia's superiority over everything will be shattered.

With these pieces, Nemir intends to reforge their Kingdom into something far more brilliant. And she is perfectly happy to make war on anyone standing in her way.

"Trees are not known by their leaves, nor even by their blossoms, but by their fruits."

Name: Lady Arianwen, Peer of Aberaeron, Patron of the People, Daughter to the Duke of Aberaeron

Nickname(s): Wren, Wen

House: House Dwynwen

Age: 22

Sex: Female

Image/Physical Description:
Arianwen is of a lithe, delicate figure sculpted by tea parties and long afternoon strolls. Well-bred in looks with high cheekbones and slender jaw; striking blonde hair complimenting a pale, powdered complexion of which sits small yet plump lips and a strong bridged nose. The Lady takes pride in her green eyes, framed with dark lashes and expressive brow - the mossy, natural mixture being less an emerald and akin to the ivy that creeps grand trees and upon window sills of country manors.

Description:
Lady Arianwen was born into high society, from the days she could sit on her mother's knee to when she took her first steps. Accustomed to the spotlight and ever-changing fashions of the court, House Dwynwen has an impeccable reputation as chameleons among the elite. An old, respected title emboldened by money and influence. The women often participate in social circles of important wives and have an eye for rumours, to annoy or scorn the matriarch has been known to end in the assassination of character, ruining status and standing. These vicious daughters and wives of Dwynwen keep up a gracious, feminine facade - sweet as honeysuckle and softly-spoken. Educated, intelligent, and trend-setting, their husbands will either find the strength and wit to match or take a backseat.

Arianwen has made a name for herself being a philanthropic woman, taking patronage to multiple temples and charities which has led to her popularity with the public and religious authorities. The eldest of three other siblings and likewise the only girl, her marriage means a hefty dowry and the strength of her father. The Duchy of Aberaeron is understood as earning most of its wealth through plentiful natural resources, such as charcoal, lumber, and livestock. Charcoal, to this family, is 'black gold' and in high demand for the smithing of metal. Aside from their success in a new market of supply and demand, the Duke has seen the empty throne and pushed his daughter into the wolf den.

Goal:
For Dwynwen, this is a grab for anything they may manage. Whether it be a crown, land, or further recognition, such a situation is hard to let slip when there are opportunities to be had. The best they can expect is for Arianwen to wed a future monarch, the worst case being they choose the wrong side.

ISMEINA BLACKMYRE

large.jpg

The-Stone-Raven-sigil.jpg
Name: Lady Ismeina, Princess of Grayshire, Daughter of Lord Calden

Nicknames: "The White Raven", "Winter's Hand", "Lady Blackmyre", "Little Crow", "Meina" or "Isy"

House: House Blackmyre

House Motto: "In Death We Rise"

House Sigil: Raven

Age: 22 years old

Sex: Female

Physical Description: With long locks of white hair, silver eyes, and a delicately pale complexion, Ismeina is a very unique and attractive young woman who almost has a doll-like appearance. Petite, yet toned with a slender build, she stands at an average height of about 5 feet 7 inches. Most often styled into a braid, her silky hair cascades down her back and could reach to the floor if she stooped low enough.

Not typically a fan of dresses, Ismeina prefers to wear a fitted brown leather top and black pants with a pair of steel-plated boots. A cloak is fastened around her neck that drapes to the floor below. Around her hips, a leather belt decorated with silver metal hangs securely and a sword with the Blackmyre's family crest on the hilt is sheathed against her backside.

large.jpg

Description: In the high towers of Grayshire, a baby with hair as white as snow was born. Eyes wide with disbelief, her parents could not believe the rare sight as they held her in their arms. It was said that if a white-haired child was born into the Blackmyre family that it was a blessing from the Gods. Ismeina became the first and only daughter of Lady Liliwen and Lord Calden Blackmyre on that fateful day. Thanks to her lily white hair, the young princess quickly became a prodigy among the people of Grayshire, where she was then nicknamed, "The White Raven".

As Ismeina grew older, it became abundantly clear to her family that she was not an ordinary princess. Not only was she stubborn, but she also had a very sharp tongue that her father found quite hilarious, often ending conversations with a sarcastic remark. Much to her mother's dismay, she also had a passion for sword fighting and combat and she began to train under her father's wing, despite the disapproval of her family. Ismeina developed into an incredible fighter, wielding a blade known as "Wintersbane" which was rumored to feel as cold as ice against the throat of her enemies.

House Blackmyre is notorious for their cunning and reserved nature, as well as their ferocity in combat when necessary. Out of the other houses, they remain to be one of the most mysterious and avoided houses because of their quietness among quarrels. Unless thoroughly provoked, they usually keep to themselves. In previous altercations, House Blackmyre was the only house that used highly trained assassins to take out their enemies. One by one they died like flies, showing absolutely no mercy. They quickly gained a deadly reputation and it became common knowledge that having the Blackmyre family as an enemy was incredibly dangerous. The assassins who aid their forces have no names, but were given the title "Bloodsworn" by the common folk after hearing word of their killings. Like a curse, they are never spoken about aloud.

Goal: Entirely focused on her training, Ismeina has never had any interest in politics or a particular desire to rule. However due to her role as a princess, she has been forced into the ordeal. There is one thing that she stands by; where Death goes, she follows with a blade in hand. Her only mission in life is to protect those dear to her. If claiming the Obsidian Throne is what it takes, she will gladly do so if it means protecting her family from harm.

Other: Ismeina has a white raven known as Odin as a companion. He often follows her on their journeys and sends messages if need be.

Name:
Lady Serene, Duchess of Fesmia, widow to Duke Nicolin

Nicknames:
Posa Mesim (Ventish- a language many criminals use)- “Crimson Fox”

House:
House Keucia

Age:
25

Sex:
Female

586150

Description:
Being raised on the streets of Fesmia, a land by the Eastern Seas, she often stole in order to feed herself. She used her young beauty to distract men in order to take from them. As word about her got around to even the highest places, the Duke decided to take her. As he believed he can teach trash to become a flower. She was then brought up slowly into royalty and was taught how to deal with criminals and the poor on the street. She didn’t say a word about his methods. She was obedient and observant over Duke Nicolin, until he offered his hand in marriage. Despite her young age, she ruled besides her husband, however her husband was getting out of touch with the people.

Then, he was found dead. According to many, Selene cried for days over the loss of her husband to a lowly thief. Others had theorized she was the one who murdered him, which earned her the nickname. Without a leader, Selene took the reigns and reformed the city by using criminals and the poor for information about their lives, then seeking to fix the problems. As well as rewarding those who aid her in her endeavors, believing problems can be solved once you figure out where they start. Therefore, she is friendly to peasants than even royalty, but the results are beginning to be positive.

Yet, she feels like this method can be used elsewhere. On a bigger platform, where the power to change society can be in her own hands.

Goal:
To become Queen of the Obsidian Throne

» His Grace the Duke of Gethelon
Name: Elion Lutheir
House: Lutheir
Age: 37 years
Sex: Male

Image/Physical Description: At the taller end of average, Elion Lutheir stands at 5'11". Despite his potential height advantage over other men of Gethelon, he is likely not considered to cut an intimidating figure, naturally lean and lightly muscled as he is. His amber eyes can feign sincerity and even kindness with ease, but they can also narrow in the most predatory, intense stare imaginable. A mane of chestnut hair falls about his shoulders, but ever the meticulous man, he keeps his beard tidied and trimmed to follow his jawline. First impressions are of the utmost important to him, as is displaying his wealth and status at a glance. Because of this, his clothing is always in the latest fashion and impeccably tailored and usually accompanied by some kind of fur trim or accessory.

Personality: Elion Lutheir is a man of many faces. Years of meetings, interactions, and dealings with nobles, merchants, and foreigners have had that impact. With business partners, he is professional, courteous, and serious, coming off as knowledgeable, but not haughty or condescending. With his own people, however, he is talked highly of; friendly, kind, and willing to hear a vast variety of problems. With his enemies, he is stoic, reticent, and blunt, displaying his opinion of them right out in the open, more often than not.

At his core, he's a man who operates from a perspective of efficiency; he presents a case, points out what needs to be done, and loves taking advantage of every opportunity he gets. Elion is a shrewd businessman, always with a backup plan, an alternative, or a creative diversion.

But family, above all else, is of paramount importance to Elion, though he would not show it through overt softness or open displays of affection. Instead, his commitment to family and to his house is demonstrated through tireless work to be an effective and respectable leader. Determined and dauntless, the Duke values competence highest of all, expecting it of his family, fellow merchants , ministers, and himself.

Skills: As a high nobleman, the scion of Tarkesia's most powerful merchant family, Elion has extensive training in all matters of statecraft and economy. Even as a young boy, Elion was easily drawn into his studies, demonstrating in particular a great aptitude for numbers. This developed over time and complemented the work of his family: finance, banking, administration, and trade. He was taught how to manage a large city like Edin Cair, how to operate large amounts of capital, how to allocate goods to the right locations, and how to keep the flow of trade steady and successful.

Elion knows how to play the Game of Houses, excelling in the subtler maneuverings of court politics to further his own interests. He is fast and certain in decision-making, able to wield schemes and plots like a soldier would wield their sword.

Biography: Born into the wealthiest house in all of Tarkesia, there was little that Elion found himself wanting for as a child. Much of his early life was simple: he spent his days playing with other children and without much worry or care. He was given the best education that Lutheir gold could buy, and it quickly became clear that the Three had blessed Elion with a knack for numbers. This pleased both of his parents and the more he grew, the more skilled he became.

His teenage years were marked by his own increased involvement in family matters given his clear inclination toward mathematics and business. Even greater tutors were hired and Tribunal scholars worked to educate Elion in all matters, though as before, it became obvious that he held a natural predisposition for mathematics, trade, finance, and statecraft. He began to shadow his father in his dealings, from the ruling of Edin Cair to the management of the Bank.

At the age of sixteen, Elion was wed to Gwynefor Lomin, daughter to one of his father's most powerful vassals. Their marriage was a pleasant one. She was a kind woman, and the two of them made sure that their duties to one another were fulfilled. As the two of them grew older and closer, they had three children together, two boys and one girl. (im tired now so wip)

Goal: Above all, Elion wishes to further the House of Lutheir's interests, for if the Lutheirs succeed, Tarkesia succeeds, and he has no qualms over who would have to be trampled for that to happen. Getehlon had prospered well enough despite King Haedric's mediocrity, though now with the succession thrown into dispute, civil war seems inevitable. Whatever cards he has will have to be played carefully, for one bad investment could spell the end for the Lutheirs' business empire.
