"The Mojave has many ponds." A short message from one trader to another. A young trader "Muse A", nestled deep in old California decides, after hearing of this grand place all their life and this message, to head east. The great dusty planes of the Mojave would be a harder place to trade than they had ever seen; but the experience, the wonder, and the caps to be made seemed to outweigh their worries. And thus they set off, with nothing but a few pack brahmin, and an entire shipment of weapons, intent on finding help once they get close to the dusty wastes.
"Caesar's shadow has grown over the Mojave, reaching further each day." A message from the vast front...an old friend to another. This was the sign "muse B" was waiting for. Carsar's shadow brings a need for death and destruction, and while Muse B regretted its need, they were one of the best at dealing it. So, the mercenary heads out west, quickly and quietly heading for the dusty planes of this strange land. With nothing but their body armor, favored weapons, and their binoculars, they set out to find work, blood, and glory.
The main story and conflict will be left up to us to decide, though you get extra brownie points for bringing some ideas to the table, both for the plot and whichever muse you'd like to play
