Fallout, a Nation Building exercise

Now the idea behind this, is in fact taken from an old Fallout Roleplay Wiki, and follows this idea which I copied:

Capitol Wasteland Summary:

Good Karma

After the events of Fallout 3 (About three-four years after), the Brotherhood of Steel, along with Galaxy News Radio, the Regulators and Riley’s Rangers have united all Wasteland settlements under one banner. These can include Rivet City, Megaton, The Lincoln Memorial, Underworld, Canterberry Commons, Little Lamplight, Big Town, Arefu, the newly opened Vault 101, Big Town, Tenpenny Tower, Oasis, the remnants of Grayditch and the semi-autonomous region of the Republic of Dave.

The Lone Wanderer (you) has been put in charge by the BOS whom act as the newly made countries military and government, thanks to your good reputation around the wasteland, and for your part in destroying the Enclave.

Arsehole Karma

After the events of Fallout 3, you “convince” several settlements to join your new state, forming one of the most brutal and tyrannical regimes since the advent of Caesar’s Legion. Andale, Tenpenny Tower, Big Town, the Republic of Dave, Paradise Falls and Underworld joined after having seen what you’d done to the Brotherhood of Steel, Megaton and the Temple of the Union.

After having threatened your way to the top, its time to keep these untermenschen in check, and show the world whose boss!

((It should be noted, this is full of assumptions. I don’t take into account the choices pertaining to burning Harold to death, what happened to Vault 101, and whether you helped the BOS. Your CS will help me with this.))

Mojave Wasteland Summary

NCR ~ This applies to Good and Bad Karma

With the immediate threat of the Legion thwarted, the NCR’s bureaucracy finally acknowledged the challenges pertaining to holding the region. Deciding that the Mojave couldn’t have a military dictatorship, the NCR imposed the Courier as their representative for the region, with their reputation being enough to keep formerly independent towns in check. Think of yourself as the NCR’s governor, but with next to no oversight.

Legion~ This applies to Good and Bad Karma.

Once the dust settled after the Second Battle for Hoover Dam, the Legion finally felt the supply line problems the NCR once dealt with. Overextended, and needing to tend the home front Caesar/Lanius makes you’re their consul, or private representative. Now it is time for consolidation, as the Legion makes plans to attack and finally end the Bear.

House~ Good Karma

Vegas returned to its independent glory once the NCR pulled out of the Mojave. House finally has free reign across the Mojave with impunity from the Bear and the Bull. A week after the battle, House anoints you his minister for Non-Vegas affairs, handing you free reign of the Mojave, to shape it in his image.

House~ Bad Karma

New Vegas returned to its roots once NCR left, it’s a cold and efficient state under the tyrannical thumb of House and his chief lieutenant, you. Citizens of the Mojave fear you as you pass them, whispering stories about the Courier rose from the dead and made a bloody beeline for the ancient city. House has given you his authority to act without oversight

Independent Vegas ~ Good Karma

After having peacefully uniting all of the Mojave’s factions, ending the tyranny of Mr House, ridding the Mojave of the NCR’s corruption, and finally forcing the Legion to reconsider its plans for Nervada. Now, you take the reigns as the Mojave’s benevolent master.

Independent~ Arsehole Karma.

After forcefully uniting or obliterating the Mojave’s factions (entirely your choice), you end the hegemony of all three factions vying for the Mojave. Then, you replace House’s futuristic tyranny with your own, plunging the Mojave into another era of anarchy and violence.
