PREMISE (LOTS OF READING): Once upon a time, in the mythical continent of Argea, there existed a powerful race of humans. The human race built massive cities, and greatly advanced their knowledge both in technology, and in magic. Among these humans, there existed individuals who had been granted a divine gift by the Grand Archmage Nivus. Nivus, who had the ability of future sight, was able to decipher which individuals would accomplish great feats within their lifetime, and granted them the gift of transformation, hereby turning the person into a "metamorphagus" (meta for short). These people shared the ability to morph from their human form to another, more powerful form, at will. (for instance, one can transform from a normal looking guy into a dragon). When in their other form, the meta also has unique abilities that corresponds to whatever being they have morphed into. (for instance, if you were a dragon, you could breathe fire or fly etc.). Such people were rare, but many went on to accomplish great things in life.
However, after a new fanatic human king took the throne, he began actively hunting down metas. He devoted every resource at his disposal to killing and capturing metas, as well as funding projects to create weapons that would help counter a meta's abilities. Devastated, Nivus himself disappeared. Under the fanatic's reign, a totalitarian state was developed, and the meta population was reduced until there were only a few more left. The few remaining metas never used their abilities again, and tried to fit in with the normal humans. This sort of life continued until one night, in their sleep, they experienced a vivid dream, where an unknown but powerful voice was calling for them to journey out west, into the wild frontiers of Argea, to what the voice referred to as "salvation"...

So that's the premise of a new RP idea I had in mind. Basically, you play the role of a "meta", or a human that has the ability to transform into another being with their own special and powerful abilities. What being you wish to transform into, and what your abilities are, are up to you. In this RP, the few remaining "metas" will undertake a journey across the western frontiers of Argea to find "salvation", which hopefully means escape from the tyrannical rule back home. looking for about 4-5 people for this RP. For the most part, this is a fantasy/adventure RP that will have combat elements in it, and possibly romance elements, depending on how the story goes.
