SENTAI RANGER [GREEN BEAST]​

-PERSONAL INFORMATION-

Name: Soma Ienzo| Sentai Ranger [Green Beast]

Personality Traits: Reliable, goofy, ambitious, free-spirited, dedicated

Biography: In childhood, Soma was inspired by the popular series Kamen Rider. He's technically still a massive fanboy of the series, and has based his entire sense of self and heroic persona upon them. Soma begged his parents to enroll him into Kendo classes which started his mastery towards Kendo. Into adulthood, Soma chose to stick with his hobby and flip it into a job as a Kendo Instructor. He will frequent the dojo he used to train at and help new and upcoming kendo learners. When his powers officially awakened, Soma was desperate to help a civilian from drowning using his greatest inspiration (Kamen Rider) to act upon this heroic deed. His mentor spotted him while on their route through the district and caught him helping the civilian. His mentor took an interest in his sense of heart and unbreakable justice.​

-HERO INFORMATION-

Equipment:
Sentai Ranger Armor - A lightweight but medium durabilit armor that is capable of deflecting bullets and blunt trauma for a short amount of time. Though due to its inferior and lightweight design the armor is capable of breaking easily.

Conductive Heat-Resistant Katana - Soma owns a special katana crafted to resist the super-conductive nature of his powers and is capable of taking on a heated form to strengthen his slashing power.

Powers: Bio-Electricity Generation: Soma generates bio-electric energy/currents around his body that increases his strength, speed, and offers an electrical "oomph" to his attacks. The biggest weakness is that Soma needs a constant caloric intake to keep the Bio-Electric Generation stable and not exhaust himself too quickly. Soma acquired this power due to an accidental run-in with high voltage equipment, his own genetic make-up was a billionth of a chance to stabilize the electric current and produce it from within his body.

District: Bushin District (District 5) - A hustling and bustling district that knows no rest even in the hours of the night. The nightlife is possibly its most iconic feature, as every shop and store rarely ever closes its doors and the incredible designs and lights accentuate its vibe.

Skills:
Green Beast - Lightning Howl: Encasing his fist in bio-electricity he sends his fist forward and attacks his opponents.
Green Beast - Lightning Javelin: Similar to Lightning Howl, Soma encases his leg in bio-electricity, shooting forward and planting his foot direclty into his foes.
Green Beast - Lightning Razor: Encasing his katana in the bio-electricity Soma uses it to slash at his foes with increased cutting power.
Sentai Soul: Soma charges his electricity and encases his entire body in it, providing a power-boost for a short time.
Sentai Surge [Locked in Sentai Soul mode]: Soma's final and most desperate attack, while in Sentai Soul he charges up enough of his bio energy to create an incredible arcing slash towards his opponents. Doing so can destroy his armor and leave Soma exhausted after the attack.​

Alias: Selene Lapina (assumed identity)

Powers/Abilities:

  • Hard-light Constructs: Advanced equipment in "Lapina's" hat enables her to generate objects that appear to emerge from her hat and move at her command. Such objects can be of any color, but have an obvious plastic-like texture up close and hence do not fool observers for long if used for deception. The upper limit of the hat's capability is around the size of a small car; if it sustains a construct of this size for longer than a minute, it is likely to burn out and need repair from Fiona.
  • Telekinesis: Hidden zero-point projectors in Lapina's cuffs allow her to emit beams of energy that mimic the effects of telekinesis, lifting and moving objects. Each of the two cuffs can sustain up to a weight of one ton for a few seconds without burning out.
  • Significant knowledge of magical, occult, and extraplanar lore, but no special ability to practice magic above that of a mundane human.
  • Advanced expertise in physics, and enough engineering knowledge to maintain and repair her equipment, but not always to make notable advancements on her own.

Backstory:
For decades, many people knew the name of Bellona Blanc, the world's second greatest stage magician, and the greatest magical superhero known to Evenstar City as well.

Mdm. Blanc was ever the showwoman, but her generous spirit ensured that she never placed her own ego over those in needL she was a hero first and a performer second. Eventually, she chose to retire from active duty instead of using magic to prolong her life and focus on spending her twilight years performing on stage and refining her research into the theory behind sorcery.

Enter the closest thing to a friend she had towards the end: Fiona Themis, a prodigious young scientist assigned to be Mdm. Blanc's research assistant and personal caretaker as part of an internship program. Over the next year, the two became close, and Mdm. Blanc readily shared the theories of the arcane with Fiona, in order to encourage her to refine her understanding of universal sciences.

Unlike some other heroes, Bellona did not choose to take a successor for some time, though eventually she came to see Fiona as someone to carry on similar work, if not by the same methods. The day she made it official, she left Fiona with her motto: "I ask of you: do not let the legacy of Bellona Blanc end here. All the wisdom man can accrue shows its true worth only when given to all the world. Please, carry on the torch I bore, defending the innocent and casting out evil. Perhaps on this path, you too will realize your potential."

Entrusted with a heavy duty, Fiona deliberated what to do. She had no magical capabilities, so she certainly couldn't fight the same way Bellona did. Eventually, she made up her mind to succeed Bellona in her own way, honoring her ideals the way she knew how. Building equipment that could mimic the capabilities of true magicians, she joined the Star Guardians, aiming to serve enough time to fulfill her duty, but not forever.

To the superhero-loving public, Fiona takes on the persona of "Selene Lapina, a magical rabbit who climbed out of Bellona Blanc's hat". Initially, her allies among the Star Guardians know her true name and appearance, and that she is Bellona Blanc's successor, but not that her powers aren't real magic. Thanks to her studies, she's good at faking it, however.

As part of her duty, she mainly watches over District 7, the Fortuna District of Evenstar City, a frequent location of Bellona's visits as a hotspot for classy nightlife, with theaters, casinos, and pricey resort hotels.

Power: Smoke. "It's how I escaped Juvie six times; I turn into smoke, hide in something, and escape. I can hide in this little chamber of my knife as well. Anything that's not an implant or skin tight falls off when I turn to smoke, but if I catch anyone staring at my chest I just stab 'em and take his wallet."

Personality Traits: Elias is argumentative and short tempered with a knack for strategy. He carries on the responsibilities of a adult the best he can, he's mot much a leader nor is he one to work with teams. But should he cooperate with another super he does keep things as respectable as he can while keeping them both from getting worse than minimal injury. Sarcastic and he often get's a attitude in the mist of battles.

Biography:
at a young age he started experiencing silent seizures, by the age of seven they had escalated into violent ones and he was then put on medicine for them, by the time he was in middle school he had developed his powers of telekinesis and telepathy which unfortunately took more of a mental toll on him. They weren't the strongest powers, and he did as much research as he could to figure out their exact origins. His main theory til this day is that powers run through the family to an extent, like a recessive gene. When it came to what he would do with his powers, he spent years using them sneakily for manners of convenience.at least until he was fourteen, he in simple terms had to run errands for his parents which included paying a visit to the 'Night District' as unfortunate as it would end up being Elias would end up being a hostage in a robbery, the best he thought he could do was cause minor inconveniences for the robbers without being noticed, he had quite the hefty weight limit after all. However this wouldn't go unnoticed by the Star Guardian 'Glitch' who had the power to manipulate technology something that would be useless in this kind of scenario. After the robbery initially happened it took Glitch a few weeks to hunt Elias down and a few more to convince him to be his mentee Elias didn't and still didn't understand why he was so determined. When he asked before his first training session he was simply told "Even the weak have the strength to cause a catastrophe" first and foremost with Elias's training Glitch made sure he learned bladework and strategy tactics before they focused on his powers, what Elias got from that was to not rely on his powers so heavily. Eventually Glitch would take him out for much needed 'real world experience' aka having him practice on minor criminals. Elias was nicknamed 'Karma' when they were out in public. Glitch never let Karma meet the other Star Guardians and overall was only able to mentor Elias for a year before he was killed. However Elias being stubborn became Karma and watched over the Night District from that point forward he would learn from trial and error.

Powers:
Telekinesis is the ability to lift objects with the mind, Elias can lift up to 60lbs with his mind. Noted weaknesses from this besides the weight limit consists of mental fatigue, mental fog, and possible seizures if he over uses it.

Telepathy allows Elias to communicate with someone through thought. However it only works for a temporary amount of time and with one. Similar limits as his Telekinesis and only used in emergencies

When he was in middle school was when he developed the powers of telekinesis and telepathy. Upon further research his best guess is that powers are genetic and run through his family.

Mentor's Motto:
Even the weak have the strength to cause a catastrophe

District: Karma watches over district eight (or known as the night district) , which is located in the poor side of the city. He typically patrols around the night time since that is when crime is most active

Skills:

Bladework: he was taught by his mentor how to wield a blade, in his case he uses daggers which while are the base of his usual attacks are plenty useful in
situations where he isn't able to use his powers.

Telekinetic Slash: his more commonly used skill in combat, usually he uses his telekinesis on one of his daggers and uses it to strike enemy's as he sees fits instead of throwing it and running the risk of losing it. Simply he typically uses Telekinesis instead of a hand which makes it easier to fight within seen distance. He will fight using the other dagger in his hand for closer opponents

Emergency communication: while Elias usually works alone should he end up in a team with someone or needs to call for help he'll use his telepathy to get the message to someone if he needs some sort of emergency aid.

Strategy: considering his powers aren't the strongest he relies on more strategical thinking. This was a lesson his mentor had put extra effort into nailing to his head

Mechanical knowledge: A skill he picked up in college, since he's going for a degree in mechanical engineering he knows some stuff about machinery

Knight Shade

-PERSONAL INFORMATION-
Name: Kaiden Braxton | Knight Shade

Age: 28

Gender: Male

Weight & Height: 5'11, 195lbs

Non-Heroic occupation: Son to two prominant socialites. Currently works as a partner at a marketing firm.

Personality Traits: His quiet nature, desire to listen before speaking, and wealthy background make him seem aloof and arrogant. His stubborn attitude doesn't help. But he is extremely loyal when he makes a true connection. His trust and abandonment issues make him often broody and unapproachable. But he knows how to play the social game when needed for business. His powers give him freedom and the control he craves in his life. He's prone to gregarious bursts when in hero form. The District named him Knight Shade due to his powers and being considered their Knight in Shining Armor.

Biography: Growing up wealthy, Kaiden would seem to be a balanced, normal person, albeit snobbish by association. But his dark secret is that the gift of wealth led him to feel unfulfilled, empty like smoke. With busy parents and no siblings he lacked attention and fufillment. So at a young age he went out looking for attention. At first it was thrill seeking like cliff diving, base jumping, even rock climbing. But when the adrenaline wasn't enough he turned to drugs. He got addicted to a street drug called Motion that almost killed him. He was able to get clean and turn his life back around but his past still haunts him, begging for his return. The drug Motion that he got addicted to turned out to be an experiment by a company that was let loose among the wealthy, bored kids. Side effects included DNA altering affects. Kaiden took so much before it was finally pulled from the streets that he acquired his powers. Kaiden kept his powers a secret but his mentor's keen eye discovered him at a fund raiser and took him under her wing to help him hone his skills and use them for good. His mentor was tough but she became like a mom and gave him the love and encouragement he needed. But she was tough and the times she pushed him to the edge remains on his mind.

-HERO INFORMATION-
Equipment: Small blades are hidden across his body for ease of strike. He also has a coiled wire that pulls from a small square tucked in his belt he uses for choking, tieing, etc.

Powers: After using Motion he acquired his powers. It wasn't until his mentor discovered him that he found their full capacity, and his limitations. (Edit: Adding he has a little more resilience than a typical man so he can get knocked around a bit without completely breaking).

Mentor's Motto: "Everyone is here for a reason. Yours is in motion."

District: District 1, Gateway. This is the wealthy block where the rich people thrive, the big companies flourish and money is used like toilet paper. Need I say more? Power, money and connections keep you alive and accepted in District 1.

Skills:
Shade Shift - Able to blow smoke that is quiet, odorless and, tasteless yet plumes as thick as deep indigo ink. This allows Kaiden to temporarily blind his appointment.

Teflon Grasp - His hands generate a vice like grip across palm to finger tips.

Jet Jump - A burst of his powers allows him to bolt quickly up in the air with a controlled downward drop.

Knight Ninja - Short bursts of super speed teleportation.

Ice Vice - Extend freezing temperature with any power.

All his powers drain him physically. If he doesnt get a break and exhausts his powers he is rendered essentially helpless, tired and defenseless. His mentor taught him how to avoid that.

His street clothes, unkempt hair and red eyes when powers are in use are enough to conceal his identity. No one would suspect the wealthy, groomed, suited Kaiden to be Knight Shade.

    there isn't a day where lux isn't doing anything but hero work. some criticizing him that he'll run himself into the ground, but on the days where he isn't rushing head-first into danger, lux is a freelance photographer and the occasional barista at a local coffee shop in his district.

    HERO OUTFIT
    has yet to figure out his outfit, but for now, lux tends to lean more towards black with pinks and reds smothered in. he does wear black gloves, not one to stick with just one style and knee-length boots with thick soles.
    EQUIPMENT
    carries a double, edged sword that splits into two parts and two pistols with a superellipse-like barrel that glows a pinkish hue.

    POWERS
    lux is ordinary with oversized cream-colored wings and enhanced combat / durability / strength / senses. he also has healing properties, able to transfer physical wounds onto himself, but cannot transfer fatal wounds nor help anyone on the brink of death. lux is also able to heal himself, but there are limits and lux certainly learned the hard way. he isn't very interesting, certainly not when they materialized at a young age, risking his life to save another. he hadn't cared at the time if he lived or died, but he needed to do something than be a bystander. it was excruciating ( and exhausting ). his wings are sensitive to vibrations and touch, curling into themselves at the slightest discomfort and he isn't always in control of them. he found that out pretty early on, crashing into things and leaving him bruised for weeks. his enhanced abilities are second nature to him, always kicking them into overdrive subconsciously which leaves him rather banged up and with more wounds than he realizes. in addition, his healing abilities have a large toll on his body and stamina, often falling into a short sleep to replenish whatever energy he lost or becomes a " limp noodle " with full consciousness, but his physical body is in a paralytic state.
    SKILLS
    arguably, lux hasn't developed many " skilled " moves, mostly because of his refusal to use brute force ( or violence ) to solve a situation, even when he does use brute force, lux certainly doesn't enjoy it. his mentor commented that this mindset would get him killed, but this was lux's decision and he'll bear the consequences. with that in mind, lux has only developed one named move, but can change as he develops his bonds with the others. the first uses immense strength within his wings to create gushing winds, knocking his opponents or any objects they might have ( whirlwind ).

    DISTRICT
    district eleven, is one of the most poorest districts and is filled to the brim with all sorts of crime. one of the reasons lux refuses to take a rest. everyone for themselves down here. it's kill or be killed, and lux is desperately trying to change things as long as he isn't being chased by some bold criminals thinking they can kill him.

    lux has a variety of scars [ x , x ], most encompassing the majority of his sinewy frame, more malnourished than he likes to admit, but scars you wouldn't expect to see on an eighteen-year-old body, especially to his degree of mutilated flesh, jagged and puffy, but not noticeable unless he really does trust you with the last bit of himself there is to see, naked and exposed that makes his nerves spark with something he can't quite describe. he'll admit that he's unsightly to look at with his skin graphs and blemished skin, especially his missing limbs that look like a serial killer hacked away at them.
    ACCESSORIES
    lux opts to wear a small silver hoop in his left earlobe and his signature circular sunglasses that do more than protect his eyes from the sun's rays, but help keep him grounded, almost as if he were hiding behind a barrier. an odd coping mechanism, but one lux can't seem to shake. feeling raw and exposed without them does more damage to his health than he'd like to admit, but he'll manage just fine on stealth missions, even if his skin is crawling with nervous energy.

    AILMENTS
    lux suffers from night terrors, ptsd, and depression. he's also awfully malnourished, not because he doesn't want to eat, but because he falls too deep into a spiral ( missions, for example ) that he forgets to eat until his stomach ( or someone ) reminds him. he has major issues with his body from the frequent injuries that they become excruciating during the colder months. he lost the majority of his right arm, replaced by a robotic arm that needs constant repair because of his lack of self-preservation. he also lost both of his legs ( from the knee down ) at the same time, replaced by mechanical parts that become irritated and painful when he wears them for days on end, susceptible to ghost pains.

Name: Hugh Mann/TheMan

Non-Heroic Occupation: Cop

Personality Traits: Hugh has an incredibly intense personality. He takes his job as a hero very seriously to the point of seeming like a stoic tryhard. High always speaks in a gravely voice like he's a hero from an action movie that couldn't figure out if it wanted to be 80's action or 90's gritty. His single minded devotion to his work has earned him few friends. Seemingly quiet when interacting with others. Hugh says what's on his mind without any filter and doesn't mince words with those around him.

Biography:
Hugh Mann grew up as the son of two police officers operating in the Evenstar City's Third District. His early childhood was spent as normally as one could live. He was an indoor child with no real interests or direction. Movies and Television let him live vicariously through their characters; enabling him to experience the wider world. Hugh had a strong sense of justice since an early age. His attempts to dispense said justice led to him getting tossed around by bullies and made fun of at school. He began training with a crazy old man from his parents work in order to see his justice through. Turns out this old guy was Patrol-Man, the hero belonging to the Police Department. Patrol-Man was getting on in years, his powers having developed at a later point in life. He saw a spark in young Hugh that could one day lead to the youth taking his place. Tragedy struck in high school when both of Hughs parents were cut down by a Rogue Ninja Master. Taking matters into his own hands. Hugh chased down the criminal over the course of several months with Patrol-Man's own health declining as a result of age. Finally catching the criminal who murdered his parents. Hugh's body was riddled with kunai and left for dead. As the Ninja Master went to finish Hugh off, he was shot in the chest by Patrol-Man. After that Hugh was crushed by a meteor that fell from space. A bolt of lightning then destroyed the meteor, Hugh somehow emerging okay. Patrol-Man was amazed to find that not only was Hugh alive, he now had superpowers. Suffering from a heart attack brought on by stress, Patrol-Man died on the spot. Hugh then turned his new superpowers on the Ninja Master, kicking him in the nuts hard enough that his crotch exploded. It was there that Hugh buried Patrol-Man and chose not to internalize his recent losses. Instead he would become the greatest cop in the world to honor their memory. He would become....TheMan

Powers:
Cosmically Enhanced Condition: TheMan's powers are derived from the meteor whose powers he absorbed via the lightning that struck them both. His muscles, skeleton, brain and nervous system are all four to five times greater than the average human being. TheMan is capable of everything a human being at peak physical and mental fitness can do to a greater extent. His five senses are incredibly sharp, his skin can bend knives and even his mind can remember small details with amazing accuracy. Not to mention his strength which can punch through brick walls and his speed which outruns prized stallions.

Mentor's Motto: Never Forget Your Job

District: District 3 is home to facilities such as local malls, hospitals and most important the Evenstar City Police Department. The police have had a dramatic decrease in work ever since the return of costumed heroes. Luckily they have been able to maintain good public relations after the reveal of their new Municipal Hero TheMan.

When Hellbent died, Shawn was given the opportunity to inherit the hero's connections. The only he accepted was a job at a convenience store in district 4. When he's not patrolling the city in his costume, Shawn spends his time as a clerk in this store or resting at his home.

General apathetic behavior, rather awkward and shy in person. Shawn didn't have the healthiest of mindsets growing up, and ended up being far from a social butterfly. He doesn't get along with people well.
Having experienced burden and expectations in his life, Shawn always has two looming presences in the back of his head. One, his parents- the ones who he surely disappointed. The other, Hellbent. The hero that went through the worst times, and left with the worst times. His mentor. Shawn always told himself that he'll never achieve the feats his mentor did. The burden still remains in his head, throwing sparks of doubt at himself.
Shawn's heroic act started out as a desperate search of validation and purpose, but he learned to appreciate the good heart and saving of lives. It helped him get over some of the thoughts that haunt him, yet he is far from getting over it completely.

Despite the development Shawn got under Hellbent's wings, he is in an especially shook state recently with Hellbent's passing, and an increasing compulsion that he has to live up to his legacy. The thought is worsened by the fact that, when he confronted one of his mentor's old nemeses, he was shot down with "You're not him, there's no purpose in it anymore."

Biography:
Shawn lived a rather gifted life, far away from crime or violence. This did not mean that he got to enjoy his life, however- his parents had high hopes for him, a whole future planned out for him. A little bit of hardships he faced would be worth it in the end, if only he persisted through the trials. Persist he did not. The stress, fed back on repeat in his mind, got the best of him and he ran off.
In his journey out in the streets, and failing to get used to living an abrupt independent life, Shawn woke up to his powers. Having managed to find a roof to sleep under at District 4, he got mugged on his first night, only to use his power for the first time. He was shortly picked up by his mentor, Hellbent, who caught sign of the commotion. His awakening was quite mediocre, indeed.

Shawn's journey as a young hero started not because of a relentless heart of gold, but rather as a journey of finding use of himself. As a man who found himself incompetent in whatever he learned, the unlocking of this entire superpower was like an unprecedented enlightenment for him. And having seen Hellbent, he was not willing to test his luck joining the local villains in their schemes. Thus he started walking the path of a young, foolish hero. Hellbent picked Shawn up and trained him. Albeit the difference of their styles, he did his best to bring the lost man to competent skill level.

Hellbent was in the spotlight during his time, Shawn(or Standstill, as nicknamed by goons and vilains alike) acting as more of a sidekick to help the hero save the day. Even after Shawn was deemed worthy to go solo, the dynamic persisted. Until Hellbent retired, at least.
The whole kerfuffle of district 4 was centered around Hellbent, and all the villains had deep history with him. Once the word of the long time rival's retirement spread, the villains seemingly lost purpose. With no clear motivation, their passion died out, and district 4's villainous world started to die out slowly.
Even with the dying flames, Hellbent did not rest. Now sitting on the chair, he used his remaining connections to help Shawn fight the remaining villains. The retired hero's interference seemed to be the only rejuvinating factor for the old time villains.
Then, he disappeared, only to show up dead one day. His ashes were sealed under the basement of his old hideout. Hellbent, having been a thorough and restless hero, made his absence evident even with Shawn running around every corner of the city to keep up with the effort. The news acted like a gathering signal for Hellbent's nemeses, who gathered one last time before splitting ways to either disappear or get apprehended.

Shawn is left with a rather boring district to take care of, the old time conflicts that Hellbent went through now gone and nowhere to be seen.

Powers: "A Basic Incantation"
Shawn was gifted with a strong psychic capability, limited thanks to his mediocre physical capabilities.
At usual times, Shawn is able to project psychic capability enough so that he can have a third hand that he can operate with his mind(it operates like he would operate a hand-range limited to arm range, strength limited to hand strength).
Shawn can concentrate his brain into a "focus mode" for a short duration of time, during which his mind works fully on operating his psychic power. His sense is enhanced to be able to perceive things around him as if in a third person view, projecting his consciousness around him as psychic force. His perception of time heightens, sensing things in a slight slow motion. He can apply strength to a radius of 20 meters freely.
His exertion of force is not limited to humanoid shape-rather, he is free to exert it in any way he can concentrate to shape it as. For now, he is not able to form complex shapes, only able to exert force mostly in basic Euclidian shapes. To work in complex shapes would decrease his maximum reach and the force's size.
Shawn cannot keep his power running forever-prolonged usage would make his nose bleed, and ultimately pass out. He uses his power in short bursts.
Physical and mental training would help him, but Shawn hasn't put much effort into it much.

District:
District 4, inherited directly from his mentor. It was once a pool of brooding villains, each fighting over the attention of the famed hero Hellbent. Naturally, the whole district's underground economy ran on criminal activity and villainous plots. It was usually out of the hands of the local police department, unless things went out of hand and needed more than two heroes running around beating up bad guys and needed more manpower.
Other than the criminal underbelly, the district itself is a gathering place for low to mid grade companies and housings. Apartments and buildings are built in a tight, choking fashion, like a cyberpunk city without the shiny parts of cyberpunk. Naturally, pollution is rampant in the district. With public service in poor condition, the litter and dumpster fires won't be gone any time soon. To get some clean air, you would have to drive half an hour away from the district.

Now, a month after Hellbent's death confirmed, it's a rather boring place. Things have been rather slow and peaceful once the news of the hero's retirement spread, and the death was like the final nail to the coffin. Many of the major villains that fought Hellbent had "retired" themselves, moving on to turn themselves in or just go off the grid. The local law enforcement is coping from a grand confusion, attempting to (and to their surprise, succeeding at) restore order and better the infrastructure of the district.

Skills: Any named moves you have with your powers?! Every superhero has to call out a cool super-move! (Every Hero gets 5 to start. It will increase as the story progresses)
-Flying Carpet: With whatever solid surface he can stand on, Shawn can stand still on it to hover over the air and glide at a moderate speed(usually 15km/h).
-Bulletproof: Concentrating point of applied force and time cognition, Shawn is able to "punch against bullets" to stop projectiles at the spot. Of course, there is a limit to how much bullets he can stop within one usage of his power.
-Doppleganger: With great effort, Shawn is able to pull off some wrestling moves with his power at one person. The capability is limited to some moves, such as Lariat or Suplex.(most parts of the human body is omitted for maximum performance)

  • CC is a half-Mexican, quarter-Caucasian and quarter Jamaican only child. Parents were low-life scammers and 2-bit crooks that ran a small deli that was a front for their racket.
  • Even though they were scammers, parents were really good to CC and raised her as best they could and tried to keep her out of criminal activities. Nicknamed "Tripsi" as in Triple C's; Cherished Courage Cutie-Butt.
  • Her name really is over the top sappy but she loves it because her parents told her her name were the two things they wished for her to be and to have.
  • During her teens, she became a local star athlete in both basketball and women's MMA. Nick named "Cherry Bomber" by the growing fanbases. "Dimples" came up as a nick too because of her dimples on her always smiling face. But actually started off by haters. They referred to her as 'Dimples' which was code for 'Dim' or Stupid, but the nick became just a cute, friends-only thing in time.
  • Actually earned scholarship to play basketball at Uni but could not keep it due to her grades and dropped out. Turned to MMA circuit full time and excelled as the darling "The Bombshell." Most of her prize money she gave to her family so they could afford to get out of the ratty and roachy upstairs housing of the diner.
  • One of the girls she used to train with at the climbing club, DJ, was a ToBeYou poster and had a meteoric rise in fame for her 1st person vids of her climbs and aerial performances. DJ was signed on by Armada Inc's globally popular, Circle of the Sun aerial performing troupe as one of the 'Angellics'. Their 1st person POV live performances cams became the next big thing. There in-house performance arena was a remodeled warehouse complex in Hope.
  • CC was requested personally as DJ's bodyguard after an 'incident' happened with the old bodyguard. CC was trained by Armada Inc's people and was signed right away and partnered with her current Bodyguard partner and confidant, Nika.
  • The bodyguard and the celebrity became fast besties and CC was loving her new life and was sending lots of money to her folks. She hoped to stop her family from needing to commit crime to pay off dirty debts and make ends meet.
  • As per contract, Armada Inc. had CC wear a mask in public whenever she escorted DJ, 'The Face' of the Angellics. Just in case another 'incident' happened, she could be replaced with another with similar build (like Nika). Fans of #theOnlyChaser started calling her 'Sexy-do Mask' and shipped DJ as 'Sailor Chase.'
  • Then the day of the bus crash. Everything changed. The Circle of the Sun shows were cancelled due to deaths to 2 performers and 2 crew. All suffered major injury too... except for CC and DJ. It was the first time CC's power's manifested and created a silvery-blue forcefield, saving them both. And soon enough, her Armour formed around her at will and began to show signs of glowing blue... and she started floating too. Armada Inc. put her on Official Leave.
  • For the next few months, the young woman began to get used to her powers and discovered that she could fly, create an impenetrable glowing silvery-blue bubble around her, and crash into things without any harm to herself. But then one day she realized how it just 'Took Over' and she just could not stop crashing into things; she was on a destructive frenzy.
  • But she needed to do better than good. She had to be great just like her old MMA teacher taught her; she was the Guardian of the District, The Ice Queen. And she needed to live up to that legacy.
  • With their help, and some some string pulling, CC played role of side kick to a couple of Heroes and joined a super group all in a span of nearly 2 years. She was flourishing, learning and gaining confidence every single day. Until she took that leap of faith and went solo.
  • Now a truly bonafide hero, CC is now renown as 'Ms. Ballistic' by night (known to her other District Hero friends as'Bomba' lol) and fades into obscurity as just the celebrity's body guard by day.

Powers: "The Breaker" - Ballistic Symbiote Flight Armour
  • "Fly-Girl Time!" - without her Armour at sub sonic speeds. With Armour and peak form, potentially up to Mach 5.
  • "I'm Unbreakable!" - surrounding her is a silvery-blue orb, centered from herself and comfortably extending out 5 feet in each direction to protect others. Any further, the more stamina it saps from her. The more opaque the stronger it becomes.
  • "Power... Slam!" - she is 10 times stronger than her civillian form and has a double handed strike that knocks opponents upwards. She then flies up and jets them into the ground. Then poses.
  • "RnR Time!" - even if she is struck with her shields down, her Ballistic Symbiote Armour protects her and regenerates when damaged.
  • "Ballistic Bomb!!" - When inside the orb, it is like an hyper shock absorber, meaning she could survive a devastatingly high fall or impact. And so knowing this, this is her major offensive use of her power; basically a human wrecking ball.

Weaknesses:
  • Flight - anything past Mach 2 and she needs to put up her orb. At Mach 4 she is flying blind.
  • Indestructable Shields - when invulnerable it is completely opaque. Limited by air supply, the more people inside, the more air used up. Flight is almost 2nd nature to her but the shield requires concentration.
  • Enhanced Strength and Armour Regeneration - all dependent on the condition of her Ballistic Symbiote Armour, the more depleted the less effective are these abilitites. Will back off/take to the skies to re-coup if she has to, affecting her self-esteem and frustrating her. This time she calls out 'RnR time!" with a bit of a pout.
  • Ballistic Bombing - the destructive nature of the impact is intoxicating. She is prone to going on a bombing frenzy in a heartbeat, randomly launching herself repeatedly at random targets like a pinball until completely spent.

"Yeah. About that district name. Naw, hell naw it ain't Hope. Not even close. This is the 1017. We call it the Ten-One-Seven, right? And did you know it's actually a date? It's when the district was united by Mary Juanita. Y'know we was tight once... me n' MADAME J. Back when it was just; Dockside and Dice Side. Dice. Cuz yeah, we gots casinos here too. But compared to Fortuna... it's like the golden apple up next to an apple core. Rotten, worm infested and most likely higher than a kite.
It ain't Hope, it's a Hole. Yeah once upon a time it was a place meant to help out the poor families and the vagabonds; y'know lost souls. Dice Side used to have the best hospitals affordable housing and shelters. It really was about Hope. But once the politicians became corrupt, and didn't clean up the drugs and gambling then soon enough came the thugs, 'The Alleys,' money and gangs. And once they came to power, then came the blood. All the damned blood.
It ain't Hope, it's a Whore. Yeah, once upon a time there was an Exhibition area out Dockside. They had all the rides, prizes, cotton caaaaaaandy and all the loud stadium events like; MONSTER TRUCKS-TRUCKS-TRUCKS!! But now its the biggest Red Light District. What else. Dude. Sex Sells, man. But there are worse things than whoring yourself out to maintain your addiction. There's the kidnapping. And oh gosh there's the trafficking. I have soooooo gots to break that ring up. Dude. Just have to. I lost a kid and-- nevermind!!
It ain't Hope, but it's a Home. Yeah, there is still hella lotsa work to be found out here Dockside and even Dice Side. I mean people have to eat. And people have to have families, I mean they still need love. And if not hope then a home they can always cherish. There are still good peopler here. I know. I see one in front of me.
But girlie, tell me true; You on the Alleys, huh? You takin' any 'Alchemicals'?! Naw course you ain't. Hmph. I can sense those Meta-Drugs a mile away. And I know and seen the results of all 3 Alleys. Glimmer gets you lit, literally. At the cost of eatin yer brain, most end up in a state of euphoria in their minds and comatose and inept with their bodies. Shovel gets you down, like 6 feet under. You trip and see the dead apparently... and then you get bad trips; constant hallucinations and nightmares are the result. 68% of newly diagnosed Schizo patients had a run in with the wrong end of Shovel and clog the system. And then there's Motion. Expensive AF but worth every cent. Believe me, I was on it. And I broke the addiction. It was 4 years of it and... and I'll tell you another time, kiddo.
But for now let's talk about you. And me. You say you all in. You say with all sincerity cross your wretched heart and hope to die a quick death? Yeah. Yeah, I believe you. I do. I seen you grow. Practically raised you through high-school with your folks in and outta the pen systems. So you listen now. With all your wretched heart. Dimples, girl... CC listen to ol' Laila.   • Standstill (District 4-Ixxion)- Mentors Ice Queen and Hellbent worked together to lower crime rates in their districts but only D4-Ixxion was successful. It seemed as if Ice Queens iron-handed approach was not what was needed in D10-Hope.
  • Lux (District 11-Night)- next over District neighbour and friend. Both are really chill and get along despite being opposite in approach. He is a Angel and she is a Wrecking Ball.

Witch Fire​

Biography:
Optimus found a little girl covered in bruises, cuts, and blood running away from being he couldn't properly perceive. To the best of his ability, he protected the girl, but he quickly received help, much like the girl's assailants, that he couldn't see. Escaping, Optimus returned to his base in District 6 to examine the young girl.

Optimus was able to get the girl calm and to speak, but she spoke in a language that Optimus didn't recognize although he knew 7 languages and some Latin, even using a translator didn't provide a result. Throughout a couple of days, and with some assistance from Bellona Blanc, Optimus was able to create a translator for the girl he understood to be Iniko. Finally able to speak with each other, Optimus introduced himself as Theodore Hyacinth. Iniko informed Optimus that she didn't know what happened. She only remembered her mother telling her to run and she ran into him. Iniko explained that her mother was a witch and she was fighting off a celestial being, she didn't know why but the creatures from all realms were hunting Iniko and her mother, so the young girl was sent to Optimus for protection.

Without much hassle, Theodore Hyacinth adopted Iniko and raised her as his right hand and daughter. Their relationship was seen as explosive as they were always heard arguing over magic versus technology. Iniko preferred magic and Theodore preferred technology. At 15 Iniko began to do vigilante work behind Theodore's back, but Theodore wasn't blind or dumb so he figured it out quickly and was always watching her back, however, one day she planned to bust a major crime ring that Optimus knew was way above her level. Optimus stepped in before Iniko could do anything, not to stop her but to assist instead. With Optimus' help, Iniko debuted on the hero scene and ended a crime ring. During her debut, she was going to announce her hero name, but Optimus cut her off and dubbed her Wi-Fi.

-HERO INFORMATION-

Equipment:
Balance | Saint & Sinner - A pair of revolvers crafted by Iniko, that she can channel her magic through for various purposes. The revolvers have multiple firing rates because they are magic-based. Saint and Sinner can fuse into two different configurations, a shotgun and a musket. The Balance does not need to take regular bullets, instead, Iniko feeds magic into them to shoot magic bolts that have the same, less, or greater impact than a regular gun.
Arcane Ammo- Although the Balance does not need ammo, Iniko can input any of the Arcane ammo she has prepared in advance to change the properties of Saint & Sinner. She currently has Arcane ammo for fire, ice, and lightning. Witch Fire does have some Arcane Ammo that returns inanimate objects to their former state, but it is too friendly towards organic material.
Hex Bombs - Magic bombs, nothing special
Witch Fire Suit - Witch Fire's suit is constructed through magical means by Iniko to fit her perfectly and also to be fashionable. Her suit can and does, change randomly. Sometimes it will change day by day, other times it will last a week, but the current suit has been consistent for over 2 months.

Powers:
Magic - Magic is the supernatural force and energy used by various races and beings throughout the universe. Iniko naturally harnesses the magic existing around her for varying effects, but because her mentor, Optimus, wasn't magic-based she hasn't learned as much as she could have. Iniko can perform beginner or expert-level spells and rituals but her bread and butter is the contracts she can make with the beings of otherworldly nature. Each contract is different but the outcome is usually the same, Iniko will be able to use their power for her own goals and if need be, summon them for help in battle. Through magic, Iniko summons and stores her weapons and witch tools on a whim
ɸ Contracted Beings - Drag'Thulan
ɸ Enhanced Physiology - Iniko's body & senses are far stronger than a normal human. Of note are her agility, flexibility, reflexes, perception, and aim. Even while on a chaotic battlefield, Witch Fire is able to shoot with such precision that even shots dodged end up ricocheting to their mark. Within the celestial realms, her body is further increased, allowing her to do some phenomenal things.

Witch Walk - Iniko can use the Witch Walk technique, allowing her the power to defy gravity and walk on any vertical or horizontal surface during a full moon or when the energy of a full moon is present
Wicked Weaves - Using her hair as a conduit, Iniko can use Wicked Weaves to summon forth various celestials and also summon forth their limbs to attack. To manifest a celestial being at higher levels, she must perform a ritual dance and incantation in the Enochian language.
Explosive Dancefloor - Iniko summons a mass of hex bombs all at random, both time and placement. Iniko fires off shots at 'random' that either ricochet or hit a bomb, causing a variable of explosions all around.
Perfect Placement - Iniko prepares a magic circle far above herself, out of sight. Once prepared she leads her target into the perfect placement and calls in the orbital strike​

Witch Fire is known for the spectacle that she puts on when fighting villains, and also for the collateral damage
Celestial: A catch-all term for beings and creatures outside the Earth realm. Creaturs recognized as Demons and Angels are neither good nor evil, both groups are morally grey. Although demons are more likely to assault anything and everything, angels will instead manipulate a sentient being into increasing their power, such as a mass sacrifice. Celestials are not visible on Earth realm without the help of either tech or magic.

Contracted Celestials
ɸ Drag'Thulan - A moth demon that seems to have mutual respect with Iniko. Drag'Thulan is said to be exceptionally brutal and demands that Iniko, when dealing with 'higher' beings kill them in abundance and brutality.
