elle's 1x1 interest check
- – hello!hi, i’m elle (she/they) and i’m an 18 year old student in between finishing sixth form and university. i’m coming back to rp after a relatively long hiatus and thought i’d use my free time to try and get back into rp!
i’m 18 going on 80 - i’m not very into fandom, i’m more into things like crochet, knitting, cross stitch and the like. i’m also autistic so if i come off as a bit blunt/direct that’s probably why.
just send me a message if you’re interested unless the thread/a plot is specifically marked as closed!the lowercase is only for aesthetic, my grammar is better than this in rp - info/rules– about me✦ i’ll generally post at least once a week, more if i have the time to do so, but i’ll always try to let you know if i need a slightly longer break
✦ i’m still discovering what kind of post-length and style i prefer, but i’m solidly multi-para. in general i try to do longer posts but it’s always quality > quantity for me
✦ my writing is third person, past tense, although i’m not against trying present tense
✦ most of my characters are women or nonbinary people, but i’m willing rp using male characters as well
✦ in terms of romance though, f/f is my biggest preference although i could do m/m at a push, but i’m not willing to do m/f for romance
✦ i prefer to include a slowburn romance but platonic plots are okay with me as well
✦ a lot of my characters are autistic
✦ i don’t use face claims
✦ i prefer long term partners and rping in dms, but i’m happy to move ooc to discord after we’ve got the rp started
– about you✦ 17+ years old please
✦ be patient with replies - real life can get very overwhelming for me at times, as it can be for anyone, so it’s helpful if people don’t pressure me to get replies out faster
✦ on the same page with regards to things like response times, post length, etc
✦ contribute to plotting, please! - i find rp more exciting when we both contribute to the plot, plan out arcs and discuss the setting. having concrete goals/aims makes things run a lot smoother in my opinion
✦ be okay with me being pretty blunt - i’m not the most socially adept but i do like chatting ooc so please don’t be put off if i seem a bit blunt/direct
✦ please be direct with me ooc, even when it comes to the initial pm - tell me which plot you're interested in, why, etc.
– dealbreakerssmut, fetishized lgbt+ relationships/characters, furries, a/b/o, sexual assault described in detail, extreme homo/transphobia in the rp
- – plotsthe plots below are ones that i’ve been thinking about for a while, and they’ve all managed to be romantic plots, though the first one could be altered. they’re summarized from my larger ideas but i’m open to modifying them.
the role i’d prefer to play for each plot will be in bold

➸ SENSIBILITY | witch x human runaway | f/f
medieval-ish; the witch runs the town; found family partners; potential for a mystery
muse A had to escape. after running with no idea of where they'd end up, they made the mistake of falling asleep in a cottage at the edge of the woods. they woke up to find the hearth lit, and the kitchen occupied. the witch, muse B who's just started making them a cup of tea isn't infuriated, but she certainly isn't about to let muse A get away without paying the price for their nap - or, their extended stay, if that's what they need.
➸ SERENE | rich widow x lady's maid/governess | f/f
victorian; general tenderness; aristocracy politics; period-typical homophobia and classism
being widowed is dreary enough without having to deal with additional isolation. muse A, recently widowed by her wealthy husband, has a skeleton staff taking care of her and her two young children. only adding to the grief, her lady's maid is set to marry a genteman far above her station, leaving her with no-one to aid her or function as a governess for her young children, since her husband was always so fond of hiring one member of staff to do the job of two. to her relief, an old friend of hers, the woman who runs a boarding school for orphaned girls close to muse A's rural mansion, has the perfect girl to offer as a replacement - muse B.
➸ SERENDIPITY | pauper girl x princess | f/f
cinderella retelling-ish; royalty; gay realization; based on the grimm version; is this adultery?; could include additional fantasy elements
it's the typical cinderella story up to a point. a girl, muse A, is abused by her step-mother and step-sisters - even when she gets her birds to pick lentils out of the fireplace, the step-mother doesn't let her go to the ball. after a quick trip to her mother's grave, she's given a gorgeous dress and gets to go to the ball for all three nights. the prince is amicable, but there's nothing there except for the promise of a life free of the abuse at home. after escaping in indecision on all three nights, the prince eventually identifies her through her golden shoes, after both her step-sisters had mutilated their own feet to try and convince the prince. the wedding date is set soon, and while she's happy to be free of the abuse at home, the life of royalty doesn't quite appeal to our cinderella. except for one thing - muse B, the prince's sister.

- – promptsa place for all of my half formed ideas that need a lot more work done on them. there's no real plots yet but i like the ideas and think they'd be fun to rp
➵ there's been a murder in this small town and the police, as always, are being useless. luckily, there are a pair of teenagers on the case.
➵ shakespeare-inspired plots, particularly based on twelfth night and othello.
➵ a fight to rule the school develops a body count.
➵ a sailor crashes near a small, remote, nearly abandoned seaside town. all seems well as the lighthouse keeper allows them to stay until their ship can be fixed. things are, in reality, not as well as they seem, since the town outside is taking a turn to the apocalyptic.
➵ wlw coven of witches. that's it, that's the whole idea
➵ something similar to the secret history except they're all working class and the murder is substantially more justified
