Feet First into hell
10 years ago the world ended, the dead awoke, and the whole world was plunged into darkness.. First night is what they called it, first night when the dead awoke. This wasn't like the movies where you had to be bit to turn into one of those things, no.. Dying without the brain being damaged enough, you came back.. Heart attack, natural causes so on so forth.. If you died without your brain being destroyed or having the stem cut, you came back. Nobody knows where this started, what exactly started it.. But it happened and happened fast. The militaries around the world were over run within hours. Luckily, nobody launched a nuke.. But they did launch EMPs, which took out the grid. No vehicles, no generators, nothing.. Every machine now runs on hand cranks, not because people haven't fixed generators or anything no.. People believed that this all started because God was angry that we used electricity.. And that the incident of first night was our punishment. Most people believe it, they're all crazy, but do have some sense to it.. The zoms go towards any sounds, movement or odd smells. Generators would definitely attract more than usual.. Though even after 10 years and the large settlements of humans, even the military still standing somewhere in the Rot and Ruin.. Nobody has reclaimed the land we called home. Could be the superstitious people having actual sway.. But the real reason varies from person to person.

Some say that doing so would be costly, which is the most likely reason, while other one is that the amount of the dead outnumber the number of people who want to do so. To the humans 10 the dead offer 100.. But that's just some history of the passed. The focus is on a town in Arizona. Built in the mountains outside of Kingman, the altitude offers a comfortable heat, 100 in the town makes the mountains at least 90. While quickly dropping to 67 at night, the settlement known as Widow Hills was set up by police, military and firefighters who helped evacuate 300 people..

Though the settlement has grown since then, and some of the fighters of first night have either died or left. But the settlement has helped train the civilians, which worked out quite well, as majority of the settlement is spread out across the mountains and hills, the main pocket is set up at the highest point. Resting on a large ranch that is mostly flat. It houses around 100 residents and counting.. This settlement thankfully uses solar energy, even having a large solar farm at the top of a hill that blocks the sun until 8am… TheThe settlement offers places for traders to rest, along with ample security. Because unless you want to climb around the hills, you'll need to go through a heavily secured checkpoint at what was the entrance to the old property. Course reaching the settlement takes less time due to the use of old trucks, and no, old meaning old for it's make. EMPs friend any vehicle made after 89.

Bounty hunters are the main focus of this story.. They don't hunt humans, in fact, they hunt zombies. People who survived first night had family who turned, and hire bounty hunters to kill them, to put them at peace..

This rp is from the Rot and Ruin book series by Johnathan Mayberry. The series itself follows 2 brothers on their adventures. This one will focus on a group of bounty hunters on their adventures.. Now, the adventures from the series are not really focused on bounty hunting rather searching for answers.

I plan for this RP to have some bounty hunting and then have some proper plot come in later.

Allowing up to 5 players(6 in total, I'm included of course) maybe more. This is a rp for those who like zombies, or those who have read the amazing series of the Rot and Ruin.

I also picked the second entry of the series title for this one as well... Arizona is dusty as hell, so it's very fitting

A CS will be made if enough people are interested
