Summer vacations are supposed to be full of fun! Spending time together creating memories with one another that would last a lifetime of friendship. Something these teens could look back upon and laugh about it together in their later years of life. Memories that would forever link this long term group of friends together. Yet why is it tearing some of them apart?

This is the story of a tight bundle of friends who are very well known in their local high school in Los Angeles. That has been together throughout their entire time in high school, through the thick and through. From fending off bullies messing with their schoolmates to occasionally being those people who just break out in a song number, and just almost always together. If someone goes to one event you’re more likely to find them all there spread out.

Now good things are coming to an end. Senior year is beginning at the start of fall, and with that means graduation, the beginning of college, different schools, and distance. So to celebrate their long friendship, they all pitched in some money together to rent some rooms on a small yacht together for their summer vacation. Everything is going smoothly, having fun, partying, causing a bit of drama, and getting carried away with certain things… That is until their captain suddenly has a heart attack in the midst of the night drifting off course from their prime destination of heading to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The boat ends up striking a rather large rock, throwing them right into the middle of the Pacific ocean with only a small island in the distance.

Now they’re stranded, with no phone service, in swimsuits, with no clue of where the hell they are or what's to come.

Roles:

1. The Spoiled Rich Kid - . D O V E . D O V E
The richest teen in school. Known purely for getting absolutely every single thing they wanted from the minute they were born to perfectly bought grades from the help of her parent's bribery to the school. Do not piss this crude chick off she has enough money to buy and sell you to the other side of the world with the flick of a wrist. They're snobby, whiney, and so incredibly obnoxious that just being alone in a room with someone for a few minutes is enough to drive them mad. She doesn't understand the value of a dollar, is very very selfish and is busy thinking the world revolves around them. Most of the group members probably get annoyed by the Spoiled Rich kid but they stick by them anyway. They're a childhood friend to the Perfectionist one. She probably isn't that good at survival work.
[Female. Age range (16-17)]

2. The Odd Ball - Huntertabbysandshark3 Huntertabbysandshark3

The Odd Ball is probably the least expected member to be in this friend group. He's very weird and really quirky. Sometimes he'll just randomly appear in his friend's home uninvited coming in through a window. The boy may look intelligent from his nerdy style but he actually isn't he's not as dumb as the airhead but sometimes he'll rival her. This boy is probably the most bullied outside of the group but the group always has his back. He is very flirtatious with just about everything that stands on two legs but he can't flirt to save his life or get a date. He has a crush on almost every girl in the group the perfectionist and spoiled rich take advantage of this and use it to make him do whatever they want. Rated most likely to end up in jail. [Male. Age range (17)]

3. The Jock - Xanto Xanto

Every group has a Jock of some sort or at least a wannabe jock. This guy is that sports guy. He can be quite arrogant, obnoxious, with a hint of annoyance. But we all know he's a big teddy bear who is loyal to the bone and always stands up for anyone in his friend group within an instance he does not like people messing with his friends one bit and gets stressed out almost the most when his friends are fighting. He was kinda forced into sports at a young age by his parents but he much rather sing and act the guy has been taking secret lessons at school without his parents knowing. The Jock is also the honorary big brother of the group..
[Male, (Age 17), is confirmed Closet Gay]

4. The Perfectionist - lion. lion.

Ah, the one who tries to make every aspect of their day absolutely perfect if someone doesn't fit in her perfect little picture she will try to remove them in some sort of manner. Has absolutely perfect grades, perfect attire, perfect school life. Her family comes from the wealthier side of town much like her BFF the Spoiled Rich kid. She's kind of a priss self-centered much like her best friend and by far one of the most obnoxious people in the group. Very entitled will use just the smallest lies to make people feel bad for her, once faked being pregnant just to get gifts. She is someone who weaseled her way into every friend situation forcing herself into their friend group and now they're stuck with her much too most of their dismay. But she can be so entitled she doesn’t see any issues with people hating her. She is known to lash out at people she doesn't think are worth her time even if they are close to her, especially lashing out at almost anyone in the group and trying to pinpoint each other against one another. The Perfectionist also claims to have a thing for the group's Leader but is actually into the edgelord but too embarrassed to say it.
[Female, (Age 16)]

5. The Leader - AI10100 AI10100

The glue that holds the group together. He is the swiftest, calm and collected out of the group. The Leader is someone who doesn't show fear often as he's trying to stay strong for his friends, trying to guide them the best he can. He doesn't want any one of his friends to fail school so he will often try to host such groups either at his house or at his girlfriend’s. Will even drag them to the library if he has too. He helps prevent any fights that may break out. This guy is considered the coolest guy at school, he formed this group back in 8th grade with the Nice girl who he started dating at the time and as they went through, more years of school it eventually sprouted into the group it is today. His girlfriend is the one known as the Nice one, best friends with the Jock. Has minor rivalries with the Ambitious one and Edgelord, Is cousins with blunt lesbian.
[Male, (Age 18) Is Confirmed straight]

6. The Nice One - Letai Letai

One of the Nicest members in the group, she's genuinely kind to everyone she meets, gets good grades, has a lot of friends and very generous willing to help almost everyone in need. She's often volunteering on her days off or spending her time working a part-time job. She is kind of insecure over how she wants everyone happy that she sometimes forgets what she wants for herself but she's been working on standing up for herself more and saying no to others. Due to her habit of wanting to help people her schedules throughout the school day become often. She formed the group along with her current boyfriend back in 8th grade. She is dating the Leader of the group.
[Female, (Age 17) is Confirmed straight]

7. The Blunt Lesbian - Available

This girl is someone who's not afraid to speak what's on her mind no matter what, easily an A+student. She's rather mean to those in the group she cares so little for, and easily comes off rather rude to strangers. Very strong-willed, does not like people telling her what to do or dealing with other people's problems unless they involve her. If she has to deal with someone there is often a lot of sarcasm involved, or walk away if it doesn’t please her. Parents are probably divorce, has easy access to booze. She is most likely to get in an actual fight, and a lot of people are actually afraid of her.

She has been dating the airhead for two whole years, despite being polar opposites. The blunt Lesbian probably the only one who did not want to go on this boat trip seeing as she isn't very keen on sharing a space for a week out at sea with the Perfectionist or the Spoiled Rich kid but was dragged into this horrible trip by her airhead of a girlfriend who insisted that she’d come along. . The Blunt Lesbian does have a secret sweet side but it’s only shown in private or when she is drunk. Voted most likely to kill someone in last year’s yearbook. Is cousins with leader. Gets really annoyed around half the group members.
[Female, (Age 17), confirmed to be a lesbian)

8. The Airhead - Taken by Crimson Rose Crimson Rose

One thing that most people seem to figure out the first thing about her is that she really isn't that bright and rarely pays attention to anything in school unless it's art class then she'll pay attention. Most words go in one ear and out the exact same ear when she’s not focused really focused. It’s rather odd how she made it past the elementary but the school kind of gave up on her and just kept pushing her on. Often she’ll be forced into study groups but most of the time she just goofs off. When someone tells her no or that's dumb she comes back with a pretty bad attempt of a sassy remark.

She is really dense to intelligence, or if someone is trying to use her or play her and often thinks that person is right. Sometimes she goes around playing pranks on people’s houses but she always does it wrong like when going to egg a house she leaves the eggs still in the carton on the doorstep of someone’s house, then proceeds to run away. Despite having her unintelligent moments she is a pretty good GF and Is dating the Blunt Lesbian and loves her girlfriend to death. Will shower her girlfriend with affection and gifts whenever she finds her and traps her in a cuddle hug despite it potentially annoying the other girl in public..
[Female, (Age 17), confirmed to be a lesbian.]

9. The Wannabe Edgelord - Athanas Athanas

The Emo is a young man around the age of 17 who probably has a lot of weed shirts but it's unknown if he’d actually smoke it. He has a lot of black clothes too, probably dyes his hair neon colors. The pretty snarky dude who will often lash out at some people he finds stupid and is always acting like he is hurting on the inside all because his dad is never home he thinks he needs to change his appearance and such just to get attention from them. He acts out because he is afraid people won’t like him for his true self. Acts like everyone in the world are against him. He probably has some issues with the leader and not liking that the dude acts like he is in charge. The Edgelord Is twin brother of The Airhead.
[Male. (Age 17)]

10. The Ambitious chick - Soap Soap

This is a very bright girl who always gets her grades done and is pretty obsessed with nature and survival shows. Along with sports, very strong-willed, maybe a bit hyper, smart, intelligent, often tries to act as a leader even when the leader is around. It probably has a strong collection of camo jackets and hiking boots. Kind of OCD, overly competitive. Use to play with the nice kid when she was younger. Would probably drag someone and throw them over their shoulders if they don’t keep up. Is only interested in the spoiled rich chick.
[Female. (Age Range 17-19)]

11: The Stoner - Available

Now the stoner is what one would refer to as a “Skater dude Kyle”

This boy is very very laid back and is almost always high as hell, and usually has some sort of snack in his pocket often quite a peculiar snack such as a chicken leg, or a taco. Rides a skateboard everywhere. He is calm and easy-going in almost any dire situation. Due to always being high he doesn’t really get good grades and claims it's going with the flow. Drives to taco bell probably 3 times a night some days. He doesn’t really care what others think of him and sometimes he just disappears out of nowhere. One time for about four weeks, barely anyone knows where he went.
[Male, (Age 18) confirmed gay ]

12. The Mom friend - Ashwalker Ashwalker

The Mom friend, a really good friend who is very sassy and has quite a big heart towards every single one of her friends. She is a really good companion to hang out with always trying to make people laugh when they’re feeling down and is a friend that will always there for everyone regardless of the situation whether there is drama happening between two people in the group she’ll try to figure out a way to help. She is very considerate towards others, often buys people lunch. Will scold people if she finds them misbehaving and “fake grounds them” can be overwhelming at times for her motherly ways. Kinda likes the oddball.

Waves pushed lightly against the outer walls of the yacht, rocking the ship back n forth peacefully amongst the great blue sea. The sun lowering itself bit by bit, as the day began to end and dusk began to sit. Seagulls and various other aquatic birds screamed flying overhead the small yacht venturing on top of the ocean. It has been one day since teens had arrived at the dock, boarding the boat early morning at a port in beautiful sunny Los Angelas county, on their way down to Mexico. Being greeted by a seemingly normal looking captain! Everything just seemed like it was going to be great! A nice vacation for these friends to remember for a lifetime, something for them to all look back. Despite someone complaining about how small the boat was and how inferior it was to their own boat.

Everything was running smoothly this evening. Light music echoed through the speakers placed all over the boat, while the multi-color lanterns that hanged above began to light up. The day was filled with some mild excitement from some swimming in the ocean, to having some drinks, playing games in the hot tub, beer pong and all sorts of other things throughout the day. ( Heres the basic starting post. Now I must return to my dog with the small time frame the pup gave me. Everyone can start posting now though.)

Grayson Valentino

"Can someone turn this elevator music off?" Grayson loudly questioned as he emerged from the hallway onto the deck. The guy wasn't really talking to anyone in particular though. There'd be no hurt feelings either if his request was ignored. Regardless, it was still worth a shot. Anyone could've been walking by the music system just in time to hear his request. They needed dope music. Something that would rock the boat- . . kay maybe not. Anything, as long as it wasn't elevator-ish.

Grayson groggily pulled an arm over his shoulder and stretched. Naturally, he didn't care if his hair was a bit tousled after a nice 30 minute power nap. His amber eyes then gravitated toward the slow color-shifting skyline as he pulled a drink from the cooler. So far everything was going as expected. The complaints that rang through the walls equally matched the fun they all seemed to be having. Good enough. This was considered peace for the group.

In an effort to wake himself up, Grayson took a seat and casually positioned his bottle against a tabletop at an angle. Pop! His palm banged against the top, popping the cap right off. Then in one smooth motion, the jock leaned back onto his seat, tilted the bottle upward, and took a swig of- "BLAH!" He coughed forcefully gulping the drink down instead of throwing himself overboard. Maybe he should have checked the beverage label first. Bacon soda? His eyes glanced around. Who-? It could have been anyone.

"Hm, very funny," Grayson mumbled before placing the drink off to the side then grabbing a different one from the cooler and repeating the process. The jock casually leaned back onto his seat, folding his arms behind his head. He enjoyed the chill vibe . . for now. Someone was bound to scream at any moment.

But alas, even if Gray seemed to be relaxing, his mind was up in the clouds trying to come up with random things to do on board. Things that didn't require having to search for Ali or calm down one of the many hot heads. Ever so deep in his thoughts, what the guy didn't realize was that he was slowly beginning to drift back off to sleep again. Maybe another 30 minute nap wasn't so bad-

Camden Hayes

She didn't want to be here. That was no secret. There was only a handful of people here she didn't like, but hell, if she had to put those people on a list of who she hated the most? It'd be them. Okay, well, maybe she should cut the rest a break. Some of them weren't so bad. Like... take Mae for instance, way too smiley but nice enough to invite her. She probably wouldn't of taken her up on the offer if her mother hadn't insisted that this was her chance to make friends. As if Cammie wanted to make friends with any of these people, but as she said, she'll cut the rest a break. There was quite a few people here that weren't Ava, or Xander, or... Aren. A small sigh escaped her and she settled into the lounge chair even further, tilting her head slightly as she softly ran her pencil along the lines of the paper. It was hot out here, and Camden wasn't one to be very comfortable in a full swimsuit, especially in front of... certain people. She shrugged off her flannel, revealing the bikini top and adjusting her shorts lower, though they were called shorts for a reason, and though her efforts went to waste, she was at ease anyway. Cammie usually never hated her appearance, she made the illusion that she didn't care what people thought of her, and she might as well be a magician because even she believed it herself.

Glancing up as Grayson made his way towards the deck. He was right, it wasn't very 'party' music, but then again, Cammie wasn't a very party kind of girl and didn't mind the elevator music. Grabbing the remote that laid on a side-table beside her, she flipped through a few channels before settling on something. A small amused smirk came to her face as she watched his reaction towards the soda. "Not a fan of bacon?" She asked while she reached up to take off her beanie, moving her hair out of her face before placing her hat on her lap. If she really wanted someone to compare to Xander people she disliked in terms of worseness, it wouldn't be Grayson. He closed his eyes and as much fun as just sitting here was, Cammie was bored. Reaching out with her water bottle, successfully splashing a few drops onto his face before screwing the cap back on. "Hey, sleeping beauty. You going back to bed already?" She teased, throwing a towel onto his head to get his attention. "C'mon, Look at me." Cammie said, closing her sketchbook and putting her hands behind her head.

"Sitting here, on a yacht, I mean, don't I just fit right in? Next thing y'know, I'll be a cheerleader waving my pom-poms for all the meat heads." She rose her eyebrows continuously, attempting to amuse him before he fell asleep.

Hendricks
(Stalker)
Mentions: Soap Soap Xanto Xanto
Hendricks was being himself well one of himselves really sort of just standing on the deck watching everything intently while yes this would normally be creepy at this point everyone had gotten used to it Hendricks just did that every so often, Grayson’s shock at discovering that there was bacon Soda drawing Hendricks unsettling gaze staring at him, it looked like the boy would fall asleep cocking his head to one side as he watched Camden splash Grayson a little to get his attention walking closer towards them he quietly listened in on their conversation, bur Camden did make a good point she did kinda look like one of those cheerleaders except unlike them... she didn't freak out when he was around so that was always nice.

It never occured to Ava how fast the day had past, a similar revelation to how she never paid attention to how much money she spent. Several hours ago had she boarded the boat, and now it was already panning night. Where did the hours go by? She didn’t think she took that much time pestering others. Regardless, dusk had settled naturally on the erratic waves, the orange hues imperfectly filtering down a reflection of meltdown paint that surmised itself within the deep blues. One by one, light whelmed the stringing lanterns, and the boat caped a sundown déjà vu she was all too familiar with. A nostalgia of her past on boat parties resurfaced: the jazz that wine glasses clinked too, the swinging smirks, the swindle of suits and branded dresses, the chaos of lies and wealth...

Ava stood on the outlying side of the deck with her single shadow gathering on the ground, portraying a mere silhouette from far away with the way her backless, black dress tailored her curves and blended in with the approaching night. Distracted by the landscape, Ava redirected her attention to linking on her Cartier bracelet that she had purchased the day before. After all, it was just as beautiful as the view. Needless to say, several attempts had her irked.

“Are you kidding me?”

Ava expired a frustrated hiss, her straight teeth gnawing into the side of her cheek as the pruny snap-clip of her Cartier love bracelet refused to fasten close. Amused at her silent struggle, the breezy current had chosen to accompany her. With murmuring hums, the draft of wind coveted specially to vex her, tailing her champagne locks to shadow her blue-skewed eyes that were harbored very intently on the metallic jewellery encircling her wrist. Only minutes later, she called it quits.

“Fine!” She blew a measured breath, “If you want to play that way...” Ava wrathfully glowered one last time at the piece of jewelry before riggling the bracelet off her wrist in a single, monotonously jerked motion. The jaws of her Garavani bag opened and swallowed the diamond-embroidered bracelet, a tragedy met by all bracelets Ava had no patience for. With another blow of breath, she leisurely whirled around from the deck deciding to invite herself home in the center of people.

Alianna Mccarty

This trip so far was incredible! Alianna had gotten a soda that tasted like corn earlier! Wasn’t super tasty though it mostly tasted like butter yet not butter at the same time, though she still drank the entire thing until the bottle broke from hitting the ground. Yet that’s not important to go on about. Besides the corn drink breaking, the pink-haired girl had also spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub with everyone playing some games like Never have I ever, who can boil the longest though that game was all in her strange head. Aren lost though something about the water making her skin too pruney, maybe she'll like the lotion Ali left the spoiled girl. OH what if you take a canoe shoe and put a skateboard on top of it for an inflatable skateboard!

Now Alianna resided in the cabins. Stuff was scattered all throughout the room the Pink haired dunce had shared with her girlfriend, and two other people. Her custom life jacket thrown carelessly underneath the bed as it was quite uncomfortable to wear when doing arts and crafts! Now for what the pink-haired girl was building, she was building the Terminator thirteen. So amongst the floor was some old wood board Ali had found in the ship’s kitchen, spare wheels she always had around in one of her bags cause ya never know when you’re gonna get a chance to build a homemade board! Some glue with a hairy large monkey on it, some pretty thick white rope she found around the boat that’s probably not for anything important since it was just lying about on the ground no one is gonna need it. With that catchy tune playing in the background that sounded like what comes out of those moving boxes that teleport you to a new floor in a building, it was the perfect time to sneak away from everyone on the deck and get crafting.

Tearing the cap open of the super glue she began to dump it all over the top part of the board, smearing the glue evenly on the wood with one hand. Usually, Ali had some sort of brush thingy to spread the glue but this time felt like using her right hand was the best option. Taking her free hand she began slapping the wheels on it and some crinkled pieces of paper with poorly written words on the plank, getting some excess glue on her other hand. There was only one other thing she needed which was some tape from not having any sharp objects to hit into it. Though that was in one of her suitcases

William was not in a particularly good mood. Hardly surprising, if one took into consideration this was Will, whose plans for the week involved copious amounts of computer games, shooting, and working out, with the occasional fit of rage. He most definitely didn't want to be on a yacht, and even if he wanted to, he most definitely didn't feel comfortable in the constant presence of a dozen other people on board. But of course, Ali had taken it upon herself to convince him to come with her, knowing full well Will couldn't say no to his little sis. It took about half an hour of pleading, hugs, and bribing with muffins before he finally buckled and agreed, as was expected.

So here he lay, in a bad mood, but maybe even worse than the mood was the boredom. They had done some stuff together before, and it was nice, but now everyone had retreated back to their rooms, and by the gods it was boring. Gray was asleep and there weren't exactly many things he could say to Hendrik without the other letting out a retort so absolutely nonsensical he would feel the urge to drown the bastard.

His eyes caught a glimpse of Gray as he woke up and went upstairs to the deck, where inevitably there'd be more people. He didn't want to follow, on account of how most of the people on the yacht converged there. And while the couples were being oh-so-sweet to each other, the bitches schemed and compared villas, and Hendrik was being a fucking moron.

Okay, maybe he was being a little too harsh. Sure, there were plenty of bad apples here, but it wasn't all bad. Adri and Grey were fun to be around, Ali, when not trying to crush Remi's spine was the adorable fluffball that he remembered from his childhood, and Camden was, uh, to be fair he hadn't exactly made up his mind about what his opinion on Camden was. She was no idiot and she was no brat, but that's about as far as his characterization of her went. He understood she concealed her true self from everyone else, which was somewhat annoying but understandable. TAt the end of the day she was tolerable, and getting to figure her out would prove to be mildly intriguing, or so he hoped.

So, he began heading upstairs, taking a few long breaths and putting on his best aloof impression-no need for anyone to understand the mere concept of socializing made him uncomfortable, was there? He opened the door and went outside, overhearing the last parts of the conversation between Camden and Gray. He couldn't help but interject, addressing Gray first:"Man, no "party music" around here, I don't feel like listening to some awful generic synth-bullshit or whatever's in fashion nowadays. Some Rock or Metal would go a long way towards giving y'all a taste in music. And, for the record, I think you jumping around in a mini-skirt waving pom-poms would certainly be very useful in making everyone without a brain shut up. Not that, uh, the rest of us would mind"

He chuckled at his own joke, going over their drinks and managing to dig up some Vodka. He poured himself a shot and went to sit down, but eventually decided against it. It would be no use to get tipsy this early on. So instead he poured it into a bigger bottle, and diluted the rest of it with lemonade, before moving to sit with the others.

Trying to get some words out and hoping the answers would do a little to alleviate his boredom, he thought a little of a subject before he saw Camden's beanie on her lap. He smirked once more: "Dear God in the Heavens, is that... your beanie, Cam? How did you remove it? I had began thinking it was surgically attached to your head! No, seriously, do you have sensitive hair or something of the sort? Can't think of another reason as to why you'd choose to wear something designed to warm up your dome in the middle of the summer"

Realizing neither of them had drinks, well, actual drinks, not the sodas Ali had thought to bring along, he unzipped his backpack, and tossed both of them two beer cans. Despite coming out of a backpack, they were fairly cold, as he made sure to frequently put them in a small icebox he lugged around for this very purpose." Wouldn't want you to get jealous, fellas. I'd say to pardon my sister's woeful taste, but uh... You know her about as well as I do at this point. Good thing Papa Will always comes prepared!'

His steadily improving spirits were soured somewhat when he saw Ava also plop herself on the deck. Now, admittedly, this could be worse: She may be a bit of a bitch, but she definitely wasn't Carmen levels of annnoying. Of course in his eyes, quite unpleasant all the same. "Ah, Ava. I heard sounds of struggle from your room and I was hoping you and Aren had finally decided to kill each other. If you're here, I assume she's dead? All the World's maids, cooks, and fashion designers shall be eternally grateful to you for this selfless act.'

He pulled out a third beer and tossed it at her, although this time his mild rage made him throw it with moderately more strength than necessary. He wasn't aiming for the face, and it wasn't going too fast, but it'd still hurt if she didn't catch it. "A reward for your altruism, Ms. Hansen. For real though, What were you fighting with down there?"

The dusk held beauty. Perhaps it was the way night and day seemingly embraced one another; giving birth to a breathtaking view of bright gold and deep blues, blending to create an evening twilight. Aren silently watched from her room's window sill as stars slowly dotted the night sky, as if a painter was flicking light paints onto a dark canvas. The golden horizon and her glistening eyes shared the same hue, yet the Buccellati choker on her neck shone brighter. The night sky and her locks shared the same darkness, yet the bitter thoughts on her head were gloomier. A pale hand shot upwards, wiping the small tears slipping from her lashes.

What was it that she did in her previous life to deserve such a tragic fate? A sob escaped her rosy lips as she spared a final glance to her phone. On its screen was a picture taken a few hours ago when the sun was still high up. It was an image of herself, leaning against the deck's railings with her mane dancing with the wind. She looked perfect, as usual, but the unwitting couple on the background was the complete opposite. The sight of a certain blonde smiling happily at his girlfriend provoked something within Aren. It felt like a massive wave; crashing onto her, swallowing her whole, then plunging her into an inescapable abyss.

Too caught up in her own emotions, Aren failed to notice that her phone locked itself. The black screen replaced her picture with a reflection of her sorrowful self. "Damn. I look gorgeous, even when I'm crying," came her strained whisper as she swallowed a sob. It was ridiculous. How could Xander choose somebody else when someone as perfect as she was right under his nose. It was plain insulting and utterly despicable!

But that wasn't the principal cause of her woes. No, no, no. There was something worse than that. The diva unlocked her phone, bringing her back to her social media. A look of horror dawned upon her face upon seeing her photos, still stuck in an uploading state. "THERE'S STILL NO SIGNAL!" she loudly cried, rivaling the cries of the seagulls flying away from the yacht.

A few minutes after that ear-piercing scream, a waspish Aren revealed herself onto the deck; wearing a loose robe which looked like it was handwoven with gold (and maybe it was). "UGH! This yacht is so second-rate!" she vehemently complained, stomping further into the deck, "No, it's not even second-rate. The service is bad. It's heavily understaffed. They didn't even provide any stewards. It's super atrocious, like, I wouldn't be surprised if we sink or something!"

And as she went on with her never-ending complaints, Aren found herself beside her best friend- Ava, who was in the audience of a few people. There was Will: the pink-haired idiot's twin brother and the resident edgelord. Aren raised a brow and deliberately eyed him from head to toe. He was someone whose name was drowning in her dislike list, and she's quite aware that he feels the same way. She doesn't get why Xander even invited him (and his sister, and her girlfriend) into the trip. Oh, maybe it was his girlfriend's bright idea.

She rolled her eyes and moved on to the next person. There was Cammie- no, Camden. Aren's eyes lingered on her for no more than five seconds, darting away almost immediately.

Then there was Gray. Upon seeing him, Aren held back from grinning widely, settling for a closed smile instead- but it immediately faltered upon noticing Camden and him. An ever-familiar feeling arose within her once again as her mind played a scene from the school play. It was a gnawing reminder that, once again, she was not chosen.

She felt unwanted.

"Ava, I've been looking for you." she snaked her arms around her best friend's, honey-colored eyes glancing at the others, "What are you doing here?" she asked as if bewildered that Ava was even interacting with them. Mostly Will, since he was someone very vocal about his apparent dislike to the two of them (especially to Aren).

Grayson's eyes were just gradually shutting when a sudden splash immediately woke him back up again. However, before he could place his eyes on the culprit, a towel aggressively flew to his face. Camden. The guy thought to himself, already knowing who it was after recognizing her voice. Of course she would try pulling him out of nap round two.

"C'mon, look at me," Camden urged, causing Grayson to ever so obediently look over at her with the towel still covering his face. This didn't stop the girl from trying to keep his attention though. Camden brought up the craziness of her being on a yacht, comparing the reality to the unbelievable scenario of her being a cheerleader. At this, Grayson slowly raised part of the towel from his face and viewed Camden from under it. " . . You calling me a meat head?" He raised a brow before smiling a bit, playfully referring to that out of all the things she mentioned.

It didn't take long for Will to suddenly walk into the scene and bring up the current song choice. Funny, when Grayson only asked to shut down the elevator music. It's like they all assumed he wanted party music. . . kay fine, they weren't exactly wrong. The jock pulled the towel off his head before slinging it over his shoulder. "Hm, avoid the cheerleading," Gray stated feeling a sudden wave of protectiveness wash over him as he shifted his golden gaze to Camden. "Why do that when you can be out on the field, . . right?" His head tilted in her direction while he hinted at her usually being one of the star players.

Within a few moments, Will reappeared bringing up how Camden didn't have her beanie on. It was true. Grayson only saw the top of Camden's head during sports games or plays. Maybe she had some sort of attachment to it? Just look, the girl wore it more than a sports uniform.

"Thanks, man," Grayson caught the beer can, glancing at Will before popping it open and catching a figure at the side of his eye. "Hendricks, want a soda? Rarely made a dent on this," He nodded toward the newer bottle next to him. The one that wasn't bacon soda. Believe it or not, it was Sprite.

Finally, cue the scream Grayson expected. Carmen quickly made her way outside following her unique announcement of entrance. As expected, every word that seemed to exit her mouth was directed at bashing the boat and its services. It wasn't exactly one of the many she had.

" . . Let's play a game," Grayson sat himself up from his seat, directing his focus back to Camden, "I'm in the mood to place some bets." That and diverting some of the other people's attentions away from negativity. For some reason, the guy unintentionally found himself glancing at Carmen who just moved her attention to Ava. "We could do teams. Losers gotta do a team dare," Grayson confidently smirked as he glanced back at Camden.

"What do you think?" He stood up, smoothly pulling the others into the conversation, "A short game of hide and seek on this small yacht, a couple dares, and we can all go back to battling boredom." Maybe it sounded lame at first, but depending on everyone's ulterior motives . . if they played their cards right they might just get what they want. Grayson folded his arms across his chest with the smug smirk still resting on his face. Besides, it was something experiential which most if not all of them could take part in. Something they could all channel their confidence into. Plus, it offered up incentive for those who wanted to destroy one another. But in Grayson's pure eyes, it presented excitement in terms of risk. Games were always fun for him.

That's when his stomach growled. Gray almost immediately glanced at his stomach before looking back at them with an embarrassed grin, "Uh . . maybe after we eat."

Cammie's grin widened the slightest bit. Gray wasn't a meathead, he was the exact opposite of the other meatheads. Sweet, caring, and she could go on but she'd rather not, a simple shrug rose to her shoulders for his answer. That's when Will had the urge to open his mouth and make a comment. And while Camden wasn't very used to being flirted with, Will wouldn't really be her first choice. But he taught her how to flip a guy once so, maybe he was edging on the term 'not so bad.'

But that didn't mean she completely made up her mind just yet, people like Will clearly had layers, and as much she tried to stray away from friends, she had to admit she was a bit curious about the rather edgy boy. "Oh, shut ur face." A slight roll of her eyes, she returned her attention to Grayson who only held her oh-so rare attention before it was quickly snatched by a certain Carmen Hale. Her gaze lingered on the raven-haired girl and she shook her head free of the daze that was her ex best friend, trying to ignore her words as if Ava being around her was suddenly the worst thing in the world.

When did she become everyone else?

Her grin became faint and she nodded her head, Cammie would much rather be an all-star then a dumb cheerleader who got attention. She didn't want everyone's attention. Narrowing her eyes at Ava before she replied to Grayson's question. "Uh, yeah. Right." Her gaze wandered to Carmen, alright, so maybe... she just wanted one person's attention. Her pent-up passive aggression was sent towards Will's way at the mention of her beanie. "How about you worry less about my dome and be more a little more interested in why you don't have a brain in yours?" He should keep his questions to himself.

She caught the drink and gave him the smallest nod, that alone was enough for truce for her. Settling further into her chair, opening the can and taking much more than a few sips. There was hardly anyway she was going to get through this trip sober. Even if... she didn't drink much in the first place. A grimace showed on her face due to the taste of beer. Gross! How did people actually enjoy this?
Placing it on the table near them and practically jumping out of her seat at the mention of a bet. Hell. Yes. Camden was extremely competitive and it was no secret. "Yes! Finally something fun around here." At the mention of dinner, Cammie visibly sighed, clearly disappointed. How were they going to perform well on a full stomach? That's just wrong! But however, the red-head complied.

... She was kinda hungry anyways.

"Fine. But whoever is on team two is getting their ass kicked."

Xander might have made an oversight when he decided to suggest this trip with his particular group of friends. For one, he wasn't blind to the fact that some of them didn't get along as well as he hoped - some certainly didn't get along with him. Still, that was easily mended. The trip was fun anyhow and their group was big enough for people to create a smaller group where they're comfortable with. Because everyone had at least one person they felt relatively okay with. The second was Aren - everyone was aware of how choosy she was and he also knew her family owned multiple yachts. If her family tried, they could own the entire city if he was going to be honest. But they decided to all chip in to rent one and... it wasn't the best, not really. So she had certainly been complaining since they got on.

At least everything was going well enough. The rooming was a bit cramped but he was glad he got roomed with Mae, Ali and Remi. There had been strange noises coming from the other girls' room but no one seemed to have gotten injured. As for where they boys are, well, they haven't gotten into fights and with Gray there, Xander could rest easy. No one has died or attempted to kill anyone yet, so maybe Xander should already thank his lucky stars for that. As much as he wanted to believe the animosity didn't run that high, he wasn't putting it past them to attempt murder at one point.

And that was why he was in the kitchen with Mae and Addy - the other two who knew their way around it since everyone else seemed kind of iffy with it. That was fine. Eli didn't know how to cool either. She tried multiple times but ended up burning whatever she put on the stove - how one manages to burn soup of all things was a mystery - so Xander had to grow up learning about it. She had decided she was going to take him when Xander showed skill in the kitchen which amused their parents endlessly.

"Pizza huh?" Xander muttered to himself as he looked at the ingredients that they were putting on the table. He wasn't sure who had decided to bring their supplies or make their dinner itinerary but he wasn't going to complain. "So, what should we make first? Pep? Cheese? Hawaiian?" There wasn't a shortage of options they could choose from but they didn't exactly start this off with asking everyone which flavor they had wanted. They could do all but that would take time.

He leaned back for a moment, reaching to his sleeve and fidgeting with the cloth. "So, uh, how do you two think the trip's going so far? Enjoying it so far?" He let out a chuckle as he released the cloth he had been disturbing and then moving over to the fridge and grabbed whatever can of soda he could find. There was a lot of nervous energy coursing through him, he needed to redirect that. He knew the two with him wouldn't judge, they'd notice but they won't say anything. But still. He popped open the soda before taking a big gulp before scrunching up his face and quickly bringing the can away, forcing the liquid down his throat before hacking.

"Who's the devil that put corn soda in here?" He asked to no one in particular as he placed the open can to the side. He took another peek in the fridge and noticed a variety of interesting flavors mixed in with the more normal ones. He shook his head and closed the door. "Yeah, be careful what you pick up." He grumbled but there was an unmistakable smile on his face.

Ava’s five-inch heels brazenly clicked forward, each step red-blooded with rhythm. With a saunter of an Amazonian panther, her dark dress cuffed the justice it intended to serve. Each time her long legs stretched a distance, her dress fitted little by little more to her model physique, groping close to her ass while careening the curves of her bust. Her natural walk in essence was perceptibly a perfect picture, both a head-turner and an eyeful.

A bend in her nature left the badgering wind to disappear as if it had never pestered her. The only remenacent it left was a cold caress on her pallid skin, and a gentle stroke that left her blonde strands waving behind. When she approached the gathering majority with a thousand-night beryl blue compromising her irses, the least she expected was a cylinder object whirling at her with stark velocity. What the fu-

In nothing flat, her hands shot out. But, it had been too late. The cylindrical knocked bitterly against her torso, falting her breath for a mere quarter of a second. The impact evoked a half-strangled scream to escape her lips followed by a crossed grimace. In a guess alone, she knew who it was. Ensuing her thoughts, her eyes rifled to none other than Will Mccarty. Sometimes it was hard to deny that he wasn’t physically attractive: Corruptly, chaotic dark hair, avenging eyes, a terse jaw with chiselled bone structure, lean.. Yet, in moments like these, Ava caught his I-wish-to-throw-you-in-a-grave expression, and defensively bridged an arm across her chest, while the other snapped down the metallic tab to open her beer. At his derisive question, she polarly found the corners of her mouth twitching.

“It’s surprising to see you ask questions about fights, Will,” she found herself nonchalantly responding. Lowering her voice just a pitch, she added from where she was standing, “After all, you out of most people know how fights work out in rooms...” Her neck heedlessly arched for a sip of the fizzing drink as she left her statement unfinished; the grimace had transformed to a pearly smile, followed by an elusive batting of mascara-groomed eyelashes.

Somewhere inside she knew shouldn’t cross some lines, but she had drowned those morales long ago. Reinvigorated by a sip of her drink, her gaze fell on the two people on the sofa. Grayson with his charismatic nature sat comfortably next to Camden. She was about to say something to them when she felt an arm wane around hers. Forthwith, she knew that presence without neededing to look. Aren.

Staking the chance she got, she whirled around at her heel from the bulk of people to Aren. She was elated about spending time with her best friend, even if she didn’t truly knew what that meant or encompassed. A half-glance at her and she was already slightly envious of how the golden robe celestially embodied her. She was a practical Hollywood star, irresistible to both genders with her long, brown tresses and luring, nectarine golden eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Aren had asked, her voice unable to conceal her astonishment. The question nearly stumped her, which distressed her. What was this trip doing to her already?

“They looked like they needed entertainment,” she finally replied to Aren in a sonorous tone, a coy smile arrowing at the edges of her mouth. It was the reason why she here, wasn’t it? On a more depressing note, she continued with the more convincingly true reason, “But really.. I’m here because this damned ocean lost my wifi connection long ago.” She gave a deep-felt sigh. All those posts that were pending up in her room...

“Let’s play a game,” she heard Grayson say, when she tuned back into the group’s conversation. The words felt universal to come out of Grayson’s mouth. After all, he was a jock: a guy who could normally be found running yards down the expansive white-lined green field, a guy who could shoot a basket with his eyes closed, a guy whose life was centered on stacked games.

Camden, to Ava’s realization, was much alike to Grayson’s life of trophies and victories. For the brief second she made eye contact with the red-head, she received a glare that was rooted with a strangely buried judgement. Perhaps it was..but could it be? She looked at Aren from the pupils of her eyes to Camden.

She would’ve thought forward, but instead she daintily took another sip of her beer. She was overthinking, for sure.

Hendricks gave a nod to Grayson offering him the opened soda as he instead opted for a beer instead. Hendricks grabbing the soda and slowly sipping it continuing to kinda just watched until Grayson mentioned playing a game a few bets as well, then the neutral drab expression on the boy's face seemed to suddenly change to a cocky smile flowing across the boys face "sounds like a wonderful idea" he said leaning on the table "must we really wait to eat?come on if your really going to propose we play a game Grayson we shouldn't just go do something else imminently" rolling his eyes somewhat and taking another sip from his drink then laughing a small amount "sooo what are we having now?"

In Chrys's opinion, summertime is time best spent indoors, or more precisely, at home. Why brave out the heat when you can instead stay cool inside, right?

Unfortunately, her girlfriend doesn’t seem to share her opinion. after hearing about the details of the cruise from their group leader, alianna immediately decided that that's how she wanted to spend their summer.

yes, their. because 'there's no alianna without chrysanthemum.'

And also, because Chrys can’t say no to Alianna, though not for a lack of trying.

When Chrys had first learned of this trip, she immediately steeled her resolve to stonewall any attempts at coercion. Since she’s been exposed to Alianna's methods, Chrys had thought that she would be prepared to resist.

'Twas an erroneous estimation, for her efforts bore no fruit. At all. It didn’t take much for Chrys to cave in and now, here she was, on a yacht sailing to Puerto Vallarta.

Ah, well, she’ll resist it next time.

For most of the trip, Chrys was in her cabin, listening to podcasts on murder mysteries or napping to stave off her daytime fatigue.

With nighttime finally nearing, she was feeling a little better so she decided to finally join the social scene above. That, after all, was the whole point of this trip: to socialize with their friends, build on those bonds, make memories. Her headstrong and immature side unhelpfully chimed in: something that we all could’ve done at home.

Once on deck, she nodded an acknowledgment in her friends' general direction and situated herself near the railings. For the whole time that the gang's been talking, Chrys has only been idly listening to the conversation, a silent participant.

She’s deviated from the plan, for sure. Even William's being more social than her! William!

maybe I’m just hungry. And that’s why I’m not feeling it that much? that sounds like a reasonable conclusion. She has been feeling a little peckish since Grayson mentioned eating.

Curious, she headed for the kitchen to check on the status of their dinner. "crowd's getting rowdy out there. How's the food situation looki—oh." a cursory glance at the counter reveals all that she needs to know.

Theres technically food on the counter, but it’s mostly raw ingredients. So she goes for the next best thing: "there any snacks?"

Hayden Raines

a20f619cecc75b9e47cb35d23317689e.jpgHayden swore he'd seen something similar before in a dream. The mixture of the streaked sky and the few remaining clouds resulted in the most bewildering scenery he'd witnessed in a while. For some reason, this only fed into his growing hunger, though, that probably wasn't as unexplainable as he thought, judging by the blunt rolling between his fingers. Regardless, a beautiful night like this? It almost made him want to liven up.

Throughout his life Hayden had always been reminded one too many times to loosen up. Granted, mostly by himself, but as he found himself settled in his seat, hair blowing in all directions as a result of the breeze, it was easy to see he was carrying himself in an uncharacteristically gloomy manner. Even his clothing lacked their usual bright colors and graphic prints, instead defaulting to a simple white shirt covered by a blanket he'd been carrying around on his back. Though he'd attributed this latest trend in fashion to the chilly air and him recently having gotten rid of a particularly nasty cold.

He'd only just boarded a couple of minutes ago, at least he thought so. And although not many people had noticed him, it wasn't really a problem. It had become something of a habit not to announce his arrival or departure. He simply came and went. And yet, he'd waved to the group that found themselves on deck, while opting to keep some distance. Having just smoked before setting foot on the boat probably wasn't the best idea, as his mind faded in and out of conversations, most of which he probably wasn't involved in. Still, he longed to feel present in a moment when he couldn't fully convince himself he was actually there. And the unintended laughter that would come as a result of the group's interactions didn't hurt.

It had all been Xander's plan to get all of them to vacation in Mexico. A seemingly noble goal with frightening implications for those who didn't exactly see eye to eye. For him though? This shaped up to be a relaxing getaway with the added benefit of growing closer to some and revisiting forgotten friendships, as was the case with Xander.

His arm moved to a nearby table as the burning sensation in his throat grew ever so stronger by the minute. Soda? beer? Soda. If anything just because the blond wasn't certain he could keep it together with a beer in hand, that and he was certainly not about to fall overboard. Not right away, at least. After taking a swig his eyes widdened. It certainly wasn't what he'd expected but it also wasn't awful. Seeing as it was this or beer he shrugged and took one last sip before leaving the bottle close to his feet. Then, in a moment of clarity he'd managed to catch wind of a game being proposed, along with some dinner. He was about to throw his own two cents before he looked around, noticing some faces were absent but something inside him knew Ali's absence in particular meant something amazingly chaotic was on the horizon. And now he sort of wanted in on that. Without a word, Hayden pushed himself out of his chair and began to wander the ship, abandoning his soda to the mercy of any passerby.

Soon enough he'd managed to locate the girl by the prominent sounds of her enthusiastic cries. "Hey Ali? What are you-" for whatever reason Ali's shenanigans resonated with him on a spiritual level, at least most of the time. And this was a clear example. In spite of not being too sure of what her latest creation was, he found himself somewhere between amazed and slightly uneasy at the thought of her trying to get on that thing herself. "As much as I want to see that in action, the others were talking about a game? Maybe eating?"

Alianna Mccarty

Ali held the tip of the glue bottle in her mouth, which was sealed shut. She learned to seal the glue bottles after the last time she accidentally glued her mouth shut and spent along time in the ER though it wasn’t the first time. Wrapping duct tape with her free hand around the board that was freshly equipped with a new inflatable canoe that you wear on your shoes! Since her other attempts of walking on water via jello and other stuff. One time she tried to use kites, they don’t float so well also resulted in another trip of Chrys taking her to the ER. Well now was the time for her newest approach canoe board! Or Water Terminator. The abomination was now finished even though her hand was glued and sandwiched. So this is what a ham sandwich would be.

The pink buffoon swung the hand about like a club knocking some other stuff around. Now her board had three purposes! Maybe Will, would try the board too, She thought jumping off the ground onto one leg. If only they allowed rollerskates on boats, or those stick things you stand on and jump about with, or a elephant, they should make special floating water things for elephants then they could have a vacation with their friends and families too. Elephant discrimi- eh too many words to say. What was she doing again? Ali swung her hand again accidentally denting the cabin’s wall a bit when Hayden poked his way into the room she shared with Chrys, Mae, and Xander. Did they think she got lost again? She’s only got lost a whole number of 3 times today.

“Hyah! Greetings Hayden” Ali said pointing her weapon at Hayden, dropping the super glue on the floor “test it later? I Bet it would work great at night we can attach those glowing things to it. Also, what food, is it good? Did a kite bring McDonalds or taco bell! And do we have a water gun? And can you help me get a pillowcase over this so people don’t take it away? And can you tape that string with little flags to it?” she began rapidly speaking by showing few signs of stopping or running out of air. As it grew further into the night.

(minor time skip)
Timeskip to about after dinner.
Half an hour has since passed as the teens continued to go on with their things, along with making quite a delicious dinner which aroma now faintly filled the air of assorted homemade pizzas filled the air as the teens finished up eating their dinners and conversing. The sun was barely peeking over the horizon of the ocean now, as stars began to shine their way into the night sky. Colorful lanterns now lit the outer deck of the boat lighting the boat quite brightly making it rather easy to see. For now it was time some boat games.

"So it's agreed," Grayson casually commented as he stood up from his seat and glanced around, "Losing team does what the winning team wants for a whole day."

Around five minutes ago, more than a handful of them seemed hesitant about splitting into two teams. So, Gray used his most random method and divided them by drawing a line across the table. Addy, Ava, Grayson, Mae, Xander, and William on one team. Ali, Aren, Chrys, Camden, Hayden, and Hendricks on the other. A nice game of hide and seek.

The jock pushed his chair in, slightly lifting it to avoid making an irritating screech. Meanwhile, his opposite hand smoothly pulled his phone from his pocket and tapped a few buttons. "Timer starts now," Gray placed the device down onto the middle of the table. Each team got five minutes to hide in or on the yacht. Shouldn't be hard considering the boat was pretty compact. Fortunately, Gray thrived under pressure. Not only was he calm, but also motivated.

On that note, Grayson calmly walked into the yacht and down its hallway. Did he have some areas in mind? Naturally. His golden gaze still scanned the space around him though to note spots the opposing team could use later on. Closets were the first places anyone ever checked. In fact, people checked everything. Everything, but what was usually right in front of them.

Grayson stretched as he turned into his room before stopping in front of his perfect hiding spot. His shared bed was topped with messed up blankets even though he was sure he made his half of the bed a while ago. Regardless, it made sense for this match. Man cave galore. Gray thought to himself while swiftly tossing a few clothes onto the bed. Three shirts and a pair of clean boxers were soon finely mixed into the three ruffled blankets. . . what? The boxers would make people hesitate to even touch the blanket. A win in his book. This game depended on time. Every second counted.

Soon enough, the jock sighed in relaxation as he started getting into the bed. He could probably slide a nap in too.

T
he game was whistled to an end in no good than thirty minutes.

Not in the least, had Ava expected to be mangled deep under the thickened mantles of blankets, submerged under the crevice of Grayson’s arm waiting breathlessly. Out of the order as it was for Ava to be participating in a game, it was even more romanesque when the sheets were peeled away to reveal an enthusiastic face of Hendricks with his square-rimmed glasses and peppy ecstaticness. Needless to say, laying low in the heat of Grayson’s body without an utter escaping her lips only to be discovered by Hendricks was not in the splitting distance events she’d conjure up in her mind.

On the double, the moon vivified as the gradient of color in the sky faded and blackened. Its waning shape smiled a smile of laconic warning, vamping the currents to toil and roll in strained shapes. Ava indifferently was laying on a pool chaise lounge looking as good as day with the way her long legs stretched across the furniture. She was undividedly busy. Her moondust blue eyes were scrunched as she raised a small nail-polish brush up to her once long beautifully clipped in coffin shape nails. Morosely, one could not live up to the standards. While dashing and competing for a hiding spot, she had so treacherously chipped it against a rough angle of a wooden cabinet. She would’ve leaked in tears if it weren’t for the amplified adrenaline she had strangely felt.

Now, staring at its battered condition, her heart felt heavy. With anguish she slowly painted with a baby pink after she had minimized the pain of shaping it back to an even rigidity. The paint was cold, and she raised her finger in the reflection of the slinging lights to see how calculated job of precision she had completed.

It looked perfe-

An archetype of a model on cover magazines on Vogue, Ava, was now heaved out of the furniture. With a rotten jerk, she toppled out, the wood floor aching her soft muscles. She bit down a raging cry, her blonde hair an umbrella to the sides of her face. With a puff of air, her hands softly straightened out the rackless composure of the wild strands. She forced herself on the headings of her heels, and she yelled out,
"Can someone tell me what the hell was that?”

The closet was disgusting. Aren shifted, sharply hissing when the back of her head hit the wooden confines. Playing hide and seek was a terrible idea! She didn't know what drove her to agree to such childish antics! An image of a particular jock, grinning from ear to ear, appeared in her mind. She let out a frustrated sigh.

Sweat slipped down her features as she endured the narrow confines. It was hot, dirty, and cramped. It was so bad that she was doing her best not to breathe, for she felt like she had already inhaled a liter of dust. Besides, someone's face was awfully close to her.

That's right! She lost all luck and ended up hiding in the same closet as Camden Hayes. Golden orbs locked with hazel ones as Aren glared at the woman whose face hovered above hers. The closet offered little space, so their limbs ended up tangled with another.

"Ugh, stop breathing on my face. It's throwing me off." she sharply whispered, fanning herself with the collar of her golden robe to help with the heat.

It was all Camden's fault. Aren believed she found the closet first. She insisted that the other woman find another place to hide because there was no way she'd share one with her. But no. The brunette argued with her until it was too late to find another spot. She wasn't afraid to express how she felt about the matter as she continued to frown at her.

"Aren..." Camden began while staring intently into her eyes, "I have to tell you something."

Aren stared back, curiosity replacing the irritation in her eyes. Silence engulfed the tiny corners while the two girls found themselves lost in each other's gaze. It was so silent that she could hear her own heartbeat, or perhaps, it was Camden's- or both, beating in unison.

"I'm-"

The anticipation transformed into shock when the closet door swung open, revealing a smirking Gray. "Loud?" he finished Camden's sentence before leaning against the door frame.

Aren didn't have the time to process everything when the ground shook with zeal, throwing the black-haired further into the other girl with a short shriek.

"W-What was that!?" panic laced her voice as she withdrew herself from Camden and slipped out of the closet. A smaller tremor followed, causing Aren to cling onto Gray in fear. "I think the ship hit something!" she added, pressing herself towards the jock.

Eventually, Hendricks found Ava and Grayson oddly tucked under layers of messy blankets. The jock didn't even realize he had his arm protectively wrapped over her. . or was Ava the one who forced her way under it? Regardless, Gray mentally shrugged it all off. He knew they'd been in hiding for a good while anyway. Now his mind was more focused on the next round.

It wasn't hard to begin with since Camden's muffled voice quickly caught his attention within the first couple of minutes. "I have to tell you something," She paused as the seeker silently approached the closet, "I'm-." Before Camden could complete her sentence, Gray suddenly opened the door and finished it for her, "Loud?" He smirked while smoothly leaning against the door frame. What? He got two down in record time.

That's when a sudden jolt shook the entire yacht . . naturally followed by Aren's shriek.

The guy managed to keep himself from stumbling before furrowing his brows at the sudden jolt. Apparently, another tremor followed. Something he barely felt since Aren suddenly clung onto him. Ever so used to giving rough pats on his teammates' backs, Grayson's hand reflexively touched the small of Aren's back in an effort to calm her the same way. His eyes though were focused on a closed door in the direction the yacht jolted from. They couldn't have crashed. Their captain was active! Without hesitation, Gray reached over and pushed the door open. Unfortunately, the view from the bedroom window was crushed by a massive rock. Even this vehicle technician had to admit the irreparable hit. Their boat was sinking.

"Aren," His hand firmly held her arm as he returned his gaze to her, "Please bring all vests on deck. I'll meet you there with the emergency raft." "Hayes," His attention then diverted to Camden, "Use the intercom for your team and get them outta hiding. The yacht's sinking." Someone from their team had to make the announcement. They wouldn't believe him as an opponent. "Get all supplies on deck," Grayson briefly nodded at Camden before gently pulling away from Aren and heading toward the raft storage. He knew Camden had extensive survival knowledge. It was probably one of the few things he could humbly admit she was better at. Hey, don't be surprised "being stranded on an island" came up on their long list of random discussions before.

"Oop-," Grayson huffed when Hendricks turned a corner and slammed into him. "Just the dude I wanted to see!" He smiled a bit before continuing, "Mind helping Aren and Camden out?" There was no time for response though. Gray simply carried on in his own direction without looking back, "Get everyone in a vest as soon as possible!"

The jock made a short pit stop by his room, grabbing his lanyard and placing it around his neck. He also threw a jacket on, took a few more items, then left the room with two blankets and a gym bag slung around his torso. Within a few moments, Gray was by the raft storage looking down at a familiar container. He'd done this before, but with a team . . for practice circumstances.

Grayson laid out the two blankets on top of one another before heaving the approximately 100 pound metal capsule onto them. Nothing he couldn't lift, but he'd rather save the energy in this case. Then, his hands pulled the edges of the blanket letting the capsule slide along the ground as he simply hauled it to deck.

Once there, Grayson routinely grabbed the oars and placed them down by the raft container. "Everyone, life vests on!" He effortlessly called out before bending down to unwrap the capsule from the blankets. It was almost natural for him to throw commands after roaring plays across the court all too often. That, and the ground below them was obviously tilting at an angle. "Ya might want to get some sneakers on," He mentioned, casting a glance at Ava. The woman's heels could pop a raft.

Snap. Gray latched the container's rope onto the yacht's hook. With a wrestler's mentality, he then grabbed the metal container, bent down, and heaved it onto his shoulder. Of course it pained him to feel the container suddenly slam against his body, but the weight distribution across his back was necessary.

Splash. The jock forcefully flung the capsule into the shifting ocean. His hands quickly pulled it's rope afterward triggering the raft to self-inflate.

Gray didn't have time for a break though. His new focus was getting everyone onto the raft before the yacht fully submerged. Meanwhile, he trusted that the others would bring food, drinks, and first aid kits before anything else.

Now, where was his life vest?

This was her hiding place first and Camden would absolutely insist if someone had said otherwise, although it was kind of hard to not keep her gaze from wandering downwards to Aren's lips, they were awfully close to one another she could practically hear her take each breath. "I'm not breathing on you." She argued, her feet hitting the wall of the closet, as close as they were Cammie couldn't think straight. Pun unintended. After a moment of silence, the redhead had given up on pushing herself even further against away as if it'd help them create the distance that didn't exist between them. Sighing for a moment before her gaze had caught her own.

Cammie wasn't sure where she got the courage to open her mouth but she did so anyway. "Aren..." Her breath had caught in her throat and her heart sputtered out of control. "I have to tell you something." She couldn't chicken out now, she'd gotten this far, but... what's the odds of her ex best friend hating her even more then she already did? "I'm-" The door to the closet had swung open, "Loud?" His words had earned an eye roll from her,it wasn't surprising that they were interrupted. Perhaps it was the universe helping her out? Letting her know it was a bad idea to be honest, because well, what did honesty ever get her? The answer was nothing probably.

Yet, she continues to do it.

Maybe she'll skip the whole... confessing thing though. She's not technically lying, just hiding the truth. The ship had shook, momentarily making Camden lose her balance for a split second, stumbling slightly before balancing onto the heels of her feet. Flinching at the shriek of Aren's voice, her face had quickly found it's way into a frown as she watched her cling to Grayson, narrowing her eyes slightly at the two and ignoring that knot that was beginning to form in her stomach. Gross.

There was obviously bigger things at hand, they were sinking-- well, fuck. She knew she shouldn't of came on this stupid trip in the first place. She crossed her arms and listened intently to Grayson, nodding slightly. They had this, totally. "Hendrick, help Aren with the life vests. We both know she's not gonna do it." Cammie shot a quick glare towards her and went down towards the Captains den. What was this asshole doing so great that made him crash the boat?

She halted in her steps as she noticed him onto the floor, unmoving. Her breath halted in a mixture of fear and confusion. "Fuck." A hand was placed against his neck and it was clear he didn't have a pulse. She shook her head and closed his eyes, eying the handheld radio on his shirt, Cammie prayed that it would work for them as she took it without a second thought. Shaking her hand off with minor disgust, taking a deep breath she approached the intercom. "The boat's sinking, don't be stupid, just get to the raft." Camden decided to leave the part with the dead captain out for now, god knows what kind of panic would set into them, and right now? She doesn't think that a shady last minute guy they hired was on their mind.

A last glance to the captain, Cammie shook her head in plain disbelief. She grabbed the cooler from the deck they were going to need water, and... it's like her mind just blanked. She knew all these things by heart and yet her own fear was starting to take over. A first aid kit? Sure, they could use that. She quickly strapped herself into a life-vest as she messed with the tiny radio more, it wasn't very likely that someone would pick up their frequency, but here's hoping they don't die.

Hendricks
(flirt)----> (competent)
interaction: Xanto Xanto . D O V E . D O V E
Finding Ava and Grayson hiding under a mess of sheets made Hendricks laught a little “well you two seem like you’ve gotten close” he commented although another of his personality was screaming like a banshee in the back of his mind looking at the situation. Until the yacht sudden jolt knocked him off balance, once he retained his balance he demenor changed to a more neutral if not more serious look about him about to go check on what happened Grayson practically ran into him. Rubbing his head for a moment while he listened smiling back at his request Hendricks just gave a nod going to grab the life vests grabbing as many as he could carry shoving one to aren “come on we actually gotten be quick here” he said before rushing to find everyone else and get them there life vests, of course. His hands where full with the vests but it didn’t stop him from swinging by to grab his own backpack dumping the contents and shoving it full of whatever clothing he could... since well... if they ended up not getting rescued quickly the might need a change of cloths? With that sorted he then speed towards the raft quickly putting the on a lift vest well trying to anyway finding Grayson there already handing another one over to the guy “ok... God’s.. I hope we will be ok...”

(Sorry if this is a little disjointed and short just wanted to get things done)
