Soul Bladders:
1. Being a Soul Bladder is not race exclusive, every race has a great many of this elite class power class.
2. The Order of Souls has a ruling council of 10 people called Elders. These individuals are chosen based on merit, intelligence, and past deeds. All with the intent to maintain control of the Soul Bladders. Though in recent centuries those that gain the Elder positions have been mostly hereditary.
3. Soul Bladders are placed into the general 3 classes: Support, Defense, Attack based on their overall capabilities. The actual spectrum is much broader.
4. Thanks to a fanatical theory millennia ago, it became tradition for Soul Bladders to have children only with other Soul Bladders. The goal was to preserve their presence in the world and prevent this kind from dying out. However, it was discovered this concept hurt them instead, as over time their powers decline with new generations.
5. No one understands how, but Soul Bladders are awakening Soul Blades from bloodlines that never had Soul Blades. These new Soul Bladders hold power long lost to the old order. And as such it was decided to remove these new threats before they could destroy the current quid pro-quo. Anyone discovered with a Soul Blade but not of an approved bloodline usually wouldn't live to see the next day.
