Basically a detective realizes that someone close to them is actually the killer they've been chasing after.
Here's a few ideas on how it can go.
The Killer is the detective's spouse/significant other.
The Killer is a child of the detective (age depending)
The Killer is the detective's partner
The Killer is actually an alternate personality created by the detective
The Killer is the detective's sibling
PM with which pairing you'd like and what role you'd like to play. As a forewarning, I usually play male detectives and female serial killers.
