His neighborhood wasn't always the nicest, but it wasn't rough either, and Ronnie grew up without many troubles. His strong-headed mother was a cook, and he got his scar trying to help her out in the kitchen. His brother would spend the least time with Ronnie.
The odd event in his life happened when his brother, who was 6 years older, just disappeared without a trace when Ronnie was 15. The brother had been an odd person, and was quite bullheaded, but he'd always been prone to being evasive. He spent one day very defensive to his college friends, and then he left, never to return. Ronnie has never realized his brother had disappeared because his brother didn't go to college on the island and thinks that his brother is a jerk for not calling.
Ronnie became a resort staff member when he turned 17, as he wanted a job to earn money. What he found out was that he liked working there and took college online so he could continue working at the resort. He especially liked being a receptionist, so he's been a receptionist for his some time.

Much like his tattoo, there are two sides of Anthony. Most people are familiar with his caring, helpful and kind nature; the part of him that is willing to put the needs of others before his own. This side of him is also friendly and extroverted, just looking to have a good time with his friends. He's also really good at resolving conflict and understanding perspectives and so, in a group, he tends to gravitate to somewhat of a guidance position, avoiding the spotlight of being a "leader" but supporting the group from behind the scenes.
However, a select few have also seen the side of him that he tries to hide. Put plainly, he is comfortable stepping in and separating a fist fight because he'd likely walk out fine if he became part of the fist fight. When he has something to protect, Anthony isn't exactly one you want to test. He generally tries to keep this side of him hidden because he's seen it turn nasty and doesn't love himself when he gets rough. In fact, in situations where he gets in a fight, he's likely to beat himself up about it for a day or two afterwards.
While he is friendly, he also tends to keep to himself at first. Those that managed to become friends with him will tell you that they had to work hard and wait long for that friendship to blossom. But once he's called you his friend, there's little to nothing he wouldn't do for you.

Originally from Alice Springs in Australia, Anthony grew up in what many people would call a rough neighborhood. For him, he just called it home. While life at home was loving, life on the streets was tough, and thus the two sides of Anthony's personality. He had to learn to take care of himself and his sister when his parents were at work or away for a while. This also meant that he grew up pretty fast.
One day, as they were walking home, some men tried to rob them. They were close enough to home that he told his sister to make a run for it while he held off the muggers. That was the day he got stabbed and that was the closest he ever came to death. However, something unlocked in him, Ashley still needed him. The rest of what happened is a blur, but he remembers standing over three bodies beaten within an inch of their lives. He came home a bloodied mess and will never forget the look of terror on Ashley's face when he walked through the door. Neither will he forget her calling him a monster.
That was the day he decided he needed a change of scenery. He started taking weekend trips to Aitua. Whenever he would get breaks in college, he would spend it on the island, learning the ways of the natives there and truly becoming one with the culture, the land and the people. He was an impressive enough student to finish when he was 19 and immediately left for the island. It is on the island he got his tattoo, choosing balance over violence. Eventually, he would use his degree in physical therapy to get a job at the resort's spa.

It was admits his second term when he met Oliva during class, and he fell in love instantly. She was pretty, bright, quick-witted and shared his love for the life beneath the ocean. Olivia and Freddy were two years in a relationship when he learned that she cheated on him with another law student. Shattered, he decided to retreat to familiar surroundings and try to mend his broken heart.
