Crimson Canines (10x)

The group made their way into the cave. It definitely was home to a nuclear reactor. The heat got higher as they entered a sign of energy being emmitted then on top of it they had to keep their night vision on. They used the rock formations to move forward slowly but surely. There was no sign of cameras but why would there be in a facility that was "Hidden" from the world. Or nonexsistent for that matter. The group made their way further into the entrance and soon the lighting from the tunnels begun to illuminate allowing them to remove their night vision. "Hows everything looking guys? Bade anything? Marka?"

(short post too no worries)

Connor hurried as quickly as he could while still remaining silent over to the cave's entrance. And when everyone else showed up, he whispered "Remember, we just have to know who's here and what's going on. See anything weird, take pictures. And for God's sake, make sure the flash is off." With that, he went into the cave after the others. As they went deeper into the cave, it got hotter and hotter. 'At least it ain't cold' Connor thought as he began sweating from the heat, Connor's hatred of the cold being well known among the old Crimson Canine members. And it not only got hotter, but it also got brighter, to the point where he didn't need to use his night vision. So turning it off and moving it out of the way so he could see better, he takes a look around the illuminated tunnel. "We're in a nuclear reactor, right? Aren't there supposed to be warnings or something?"

Marka walked beside the group, going deeper in the cavern as it began to heat up slowly, the light began to illuminate slowly from the end, removing her night vision she continued to proceed only to hear connor say how there should be warnings and such if this was a nuclear reactor, Hearing this Marka would pull out her Geiger and take any signs of radiation down here and see, if this was a nuclear reactor there should be some particles to give hints of it "I hope it is a secret reactor or something, the last thing i want is this being some Launch platform exhaust..." she commented as, hope best they dint walk inside a rocket platform smoke exit, when rockets launch, all that smoke and fire has to go somewhere without causing a fire on the platform...and tunnels like this reminded her about it, god forbid this is NOT one.

Keeping an eye out for any sort of sign or warning, or anything man made before they reach the light was her priority, and if the Geiger starts to clime in radiation levels its best to not get any closer, surely not everyone is prepared to sustain high doses of alpha or beta particles. Her alarm has let to flare up meaning no one is behind them and that is good, very good "But as far i can tell...we are good, alarm has not yet been trip, no cameras, nothing, forward is our only option" Marka lastly commented as they continued but she slow down, wondering what was emitting the light or if there was some one pointing a light at Them... could be anything. As she looked at her PDA there seem to be what was zero signal in here, not even sending, seems they where on there own down here. The cave walls will surely block any format of it no mater what. "Keep ears up" she said as its not what there eyes could see but as well hear or feel.

Grey replied as the vents let out the filtered hot air in his armor to keep his body at a cool temp. It let out a subtle hiss. The group listened to his instructions. Then the comment. " Agreed. Our cameras are nice enough to pick up shit in the dark." They stopped as they heard a stomp followed by another. Jawz noted to have everyone get into cover as soon as possible. The group made quick shelter in some of the crevices of the cave. Along with a pallet of steel crates that looked to be dropped here. Grey read the label as he squatted behind them. 'is this in English?' Grey tried reading the language. clearly it was not. He tapped Marka on the shoulder and had her take a look at it ( Yonsisac Yonsisac ) "Can you read that?"

(Marka saw the writing to be familiar but did not ring a bell as to what language it was. )

Grey turned to the others all were lights out on their suits to prevent detection. One thing nice about the suits they all had were their lights could be turned off. Two machines made their way passed the opening to the cave where it begun to open up. They seemed to have a wide platform to walk on enough for the mechs. Or robots for that matter. Things weren't adding up. where was the one person from earlier? Was he down deeper in the cavern. Or plant. This place looked to be abandoned as ever. The mine was trashed. The warning labels on the walls all faded and vanished from old age. Even the main giant power plant appeared to be worn down and out of commission. Why would they waste so much time to get it up and running?

Marka noted on the cameras. She was right. no security effort was put into the place. They didn't have any lights in to illuminate for intruders. Let alone any cameras. Then to top it all off, no guards it was like they were trying to prevent people from entering.

"You think they know we are here? what if they have thermal vision and just are luring us deeper to seal off the exits?" Jawz asked Connor. The idea seemed logical. But then they could have trapped them by now. Not only that but generally thermal scanners on robots are easy to spot. It indicated by a red and orange glow in their eyes that project out. These machines seemed to be tools. No night vision. All were capable of transporting goods. And by the dusty crates they were behind it seemed to be they did just that.

The robots finally cleared. ( Abdel featherfall Abdel featherfall ) Alerius gave them the OK to get out of cover. Then Degan made his way to check and scan the opening. He gasped.

The group came to investigate to unlock the caverns depths. The entire factory was in front of them. It was like a volcano inside of a mountain. Except the volcano was an ancient power plant and the mountains were hollowed out from long ago. "Why did they build this back then?" Degan asked.

"If it blew it would have to take out the entire mountain before taking out the rest of its region. Basically smaller blast radius. But still not a bright idea." Grey educated him on the subject with an honest best guess. Then Grey looked over the edge. Rifle ready to immediately fire. It was about a 40 yard drop of stairs to the base filled with old concrete. They looked to see no humans working. Only a handful of machines. "what.....the....fuck?" Where was the last guy?

Grey looked at the plants stack that rose into the mountain. He activated his scanners. The plant signatures were indicating that there wasn't any sign of thermal activity from nuclear energy. "Thats wierd."

"What?" Jawz said.

"They arent reigniting the power plant....."

"Why would commander N say they caught heat signatures then?"

"Well....they are. but they are taking the harvest....thats why all the machines arent armed. They are puppets to move the goods."

"Does that mean N was still capable of detecting those nuclear levels?"

Grey chuckled as they all backed away from the ledge and begun to walk to the right. and scanned the area for immediate hostels. It was like the whole place was on autopilot. "No..... N has technology that could spot a nuclear lizards signature if he wanted to. They are most definitely using the energy."

all this time in the future humanity used to rely on fossil fuels and nuclear energy for so long they have also developed and puritized the way they use energy. They nanosuits are powered by the sun which even 5 minutes in the light keeps all the billion nanobots going on their microammounts of energy for 24 hours. then on top of it. a single Mech is powered off microammounts of nuclear energies. Harvesting this much would be for something the size of a spaceship. Then on top of it. scientists can degrade the half life of nuclear energy to which there is no waste. So there is almost no point in harvesting nuclear energy anymore. Hence places like this becoming obsolete. On top of it. spaceships are made of solar absorbing material that caused them to almost function of an entire city onboard the massive starships that housed humanity only 8 years ago.

"Remember we need pictures of anything that might help."

(feel free to start taking pictures of things that might seem helpful and odd. and message me the purpose behind it. Even if it doesnt make sense to the plot i will bend it to make sense. things like. The picture of the man or woman someone is free to capture as long as the post is well made and very good quality. other things like the robots. other things like documents. or possible paperwork. Things L would look into. OOC any questions)

Ikari Shio 1.png
Ikari had casually walked off when he'd been given the order to take cover, detouring just out of what would be the sight of the robots in a smaller cave his bright red lights gave. In truth, he was not a man to sneak around. Ikari only snuck when he felt like it, and only came along because he knew it would outweigh the decision to stay back at base.

Nothing caught his monitor or his own eyes as he walked, metal footsteps occasionally ringing out from his suit as his foot scuffed a rock or he kicked a pebble further ahead of him. When the cave started to become rough and bent down enough to make him think of crouching, the new Canine started to pay more attention.

When he was about to lose interest in even this, the currently narrow pathway opened up. It wasn't a small room that he had walked into, but a high ceiling, spacey room with many holes littering the walls while there was a big entrance in front yet to the right side of him. Being so bored, the man hadn't taken note there were sounds of something scurrying around him the whole time. And to make it worse, his little cave he'd been in collapsed from him smacking his head on the roof as he got out.

Looking around, his red glare scoured the walls and there were many holes littering it. Ikari's face contorted a bit in disgust when he saw a translucent like shell, almost as high as his navel and as wide as one of his outstretched arms at it's bottom. Multiple eggs were to one corner of the cave he had entered, the same as the one he was looking at. His night vision barely made it through to the other side as he tried in vain to spot what was in the egg by him. Then, it hit him. "I'm in a hive aren't i...?" he questioned, his comm sending a jumbled message of his voice on it. Rocks and pebbles fell from above the main group of eggs as something screeched at him from within the hole before he drew his sword. Whatever it was, it was big and extremely pissed off at the intruder. Feelers came free from the hole and from their size alone, Ikari knew he could be in trouble and quickly.

Ikari took a stance as more of the creature showed itself from the one of the holes littering the wall. When the head came out, the swordsmen looked at it's legs. One hundred serrated legs; possibly as sharp as his sword. "This is something i don't see back in Japan except in myth and children books." He told himself as the monster hissed at him angrily. "It's a Kyodai Jigoku for sure!" Another hiss and it bobbed back and forth, quite colossal compared to it's tiny counterpart, the Centipede.

Spittle flew from the Kyodai Jikoku's mouth, splattering around Ikari as he growled in disgust. When he took a step forward, a loud crash was heard and he jumped up, dodging the insect's attack thanks to his Nanosuit. On his decent, Ikari balled up before pushing his legs out, sending himself spiraling at a decent speed; His sword outstretched from his frame like an extension of his arm.

Sliding across its armored skin, the Canine left a small scratch down the side of the thing before he was sent flying towards the wall. Upon impact, he spat out from the force, landing on his stomach. Punching his fist to the ground, Ikari stood up; His breathing heavy. Spinning his sword in an unspoken taunt, the man took a stance once more and the beast shot at him once more.

He had one shot for his plan to work currently. Dashing forwards towards the incoming snapping pinchers, Ikari found himself underneath the Kyodai Jigoku momentarily before he jumped out from underneath it, dust being sent up in his wake, the centipede having slammed its body to the ground in an attempt to crush him.

Jumping up high once more, Ikari now found himself on its back. "All right!!!" He called out as he started running up the insect's back. When he had been hit before, his camera started live streaming his duel on accident. As he ran, his footsteps could be heard banging against he armor body of the insect. Turning its body, the centipede dashed for him again while he jumped up again. "Danger! Gas needs to be regenerated sufficiently for next jump." his suit blared.

"Tch." Was his reply when he landed by his opponent's head. The beast garbled out a scream when its body came in contact with its giant pinchers. A dust cloud came up as part of the pinchers broke. Stabbing his sword in-between the plating, Ikari tightened his grip on his sword's handle just before the body of the beast started to flail about in pain.

In the struggle to throw the intruder off of itself, the Kyodai Jigoku had crushed some of its eggs, causing it to get even angrier. It howled out in rage before starting to circle around the room with poor Ikari riding along with it. As it circled, the beast had grouped the eggs by one-another in a circle of sorts before wrapping the end of itself around its unborn young.

As the beast rose up, Ikari panted, hanging by his sword with a hand. grabbing one of his guns, the man coughed. "Damn thing... I'm dizzy as all hell cause of you..." Again he coughed, blinking in an attempt to shake the dizzyness from his mind. His shoulder burned from earlier when he landed on that rock and he switched hands holding the blade and the gun. During the transition, the gun fell from his grasp and he shouted out, causing the Kyodai Jigoku to realize the intruder was on their back.

With a roar, the beast slammed itself against the ground, back first, crushing Ikari underneath it before flipping back over what part of itself had tipped over. The man layed there, stunned and buried a bit within the cave floor when the monster let out an agonizing screech. Ikari spat out some blood in his suit. "I'm close to checkmate big guy. What're you gonna do now?"

The sword had been pushed further into the beast by its own attack, causing it to wreath about; head swinging back and forth in agony. Luckily for him, the Canine hadn't been hit by the hilt of his own sword but escaped with only being crushed by the colossal beast. Lady luck had also been with him because his gun landed right by him.

Slowly, Ikari got up and grabbed the gun as he took out his other. Folding the handles and turning the barrels, the barrels turned into two spikes before he put them together with a click and turn of the spike handles he had just folded mere moments ago. "Here i go! Its time this bug got torn apart!" He shouted.

going under the legs, Ikari seemed to dance between them while he cut and stabbed at the connectors holding them to the hardened body. Right before the Centipede fell in that area, he got out of the way, his mask being scratched by one of the serrated ends of a claw. Jumping backwards he stopped short of the cave wall, breathing heavily.

Again, the Kyodai Jigoku started circling the outside of the cave, dragging the broken and disabled legs around while the bled. When its black webbed eyes saw Ikari, the speed picked up. Charging right at him, Ikari clicked two buttons on his handle he used causing the blades to become heated as if a gunshot went off in them before he let out a war cry and charged himself. With broken pinchers wide and thirsty for blood, the insect let its rage show, spittle flying in front of itself.

The pinchers closed around Ikari, right where they had broken and he jumped up, spinning while his yell rang out before he stabbed the Kyodai Jigoku right between its second pinchers that kept its mouth closed. With that part propped open, in the same second he jammed it, Ikari grabbed the handle with both hands and used his full weight to rip it out and he plunged into the mouth of the Kyodai Jigoku before turning the dual blade back into guns as he lit the insides of the beast up, his guns gleaming with thick, greenish brown blood at every shot after the first three.

The noise of despair and pain that came from the monster's throat was deafening to Ikari and anyone watching the choppy stream before he was suspended in air for a few seconds and then a crash came as his body landed hard on the tongue of the giant centipede's mouth. Ikari had won his duel.

Lying there, the man actually laughed. "Damn insect wasn't gonna beat me, supersized or not!" he grinned until his cheeks hurt. Adrenaline leaving him, his body stopped responding in some places. His suit hydrated him and started to cool his skin off as saliva from the beast dripped around and on him. "Doubt anyone's gonna believe this even happened... If they don't then oh fucking well i guess." his chest rose and fell while he took deep breaths to regulate his body.

The Kyodai Jigoku's now corpse died mouth agape as it screamed out the last breath it had, attracting the attention of some metal beings wandering the caves in search of it and the soon to be born young to stop them from interfering in anymore in what was going on within the abandoned cave systems.

Jawz begun sneaking around. She had to find something worth taking photos of....what did this really mean? Evidence? Clues. She went by herself deeper into the main facility that went deeper to the ground floor. It wasnt easy let alone fun at all. She was taking in all the machinary in place. It looked like loaders for equipment mainly. Along with a few robots that were roaming around. She glanced at the main old power reactor. The large tube that erected from the middle of the facility. Otherwise it appeared to be just corridors branching off the areas. Grey was probably already linked into who the identity of the guy they saw. or woman. was from earlier. It was not for certain. SHe used her scanners to check for cameras and so far nothing. She had to get something.

After time she discovered a robot pulling individual cartridges from a crate. She snapped a picture of the crate. It had the same label as before from the ones at the entrance where it opened up. 'Yes this should be helpful. Now pictures of the product.' She thought to herself snapping a few shots of the loader pulling out each vial. They were filled with green fluids. Not appearing to be nuclear as her sensors didn't detect it. nor did it seem to be body parts inside. Just a green liquid. It appeared to have the consistency of water... Could this be fuel? Where they converting it into a liquid? Jawz leaned from cover as rocks jingled to her left. The old cave like facility mixed with ancient concrete collapsed a bit. Just her fucking luck. It caused a small amount of noise causing the robot to stop. She eased back into the shadows of cover. "Fuck" She murmured. 'We cannot get caught. period....' She thought to herself before seeing the robot begin to take interest in her location. She eased back into the next corridor right behind her. before realizing it led to a supply room. Old, dusty and unused. Only rotten wood boxes from who knows how long eaten by algae or whatever got its bite into the rotten woods crates with no markings. She watched as the robot made its way toward her. she was shaking hand on her rifle. all her body lights and weapon lights dimmed to 0 percent.

It came closer with interest. and closer. She had to act fast as time was running out to get a hiding spot. Of all the luck she could have had the cave itself decided to turn against her. She thought quickly and took cover behind the rotten crates as the robot entered the room using the large broken doors.

Grey opted to move around with Degan. His body was chiseled and well built much like grey only heavier muscle mass. The guy had alot of secrets it felt. Or at least a passed he had yet to talk about."anything of interest?" He asked making small talk. The mission felt useless. but it was their orders and their first real canine mission after-all

"Nothing really interesting. I found a cool rock though." He pointed out as the crystal erected from the wall. Perhaps it grew from the rich environment of the ancient power plant.

"I dont think that's gonna help though." He said. They were looking for the person. They have been sneaking around for a while now and he seemed to dissapear. So far they just found junk. Closest and rooms for old control modules were broken and abandoned. along with it they found another room with tools for the power plant. "ancient humans were so primitive...." He muttered.

Degan nodded in approval. There was no sign of the target. Finally they hit the control bridge. On top it was dark. double sided glass made them invisible while they broke into the sliding gate to get in. Big enough for only humans. Therefore machines wouldnt be inside. This was the first time they found security cameras. however.... they appeared to be as old as the building itself. or cave whatever you wish to call it. "what the fuck ??" Degan muttered staring outside the building.

Grey took a look to reveal the whole area below them. They spotted several robots loading cargo into bigger robots which seemed to pop themselves off of them like tiny grunt versions. They were all unarmed yet they had been busy loading cargo... And......"Degan....thats our guy...." it was 100 yards away and with their binoculars they were able to look through and discover it was indeed a guy. tall. Grey hair. Medium stature. definitely appeared to be in his 40's. He wore a 5 oclock shadow much like a older version of Grey as he had yet to shave lately. Ok now they were getting somewhere.

"We need pictures of him. we need to facial scan his face back with N." Grey recommended.

"Already on it boss." Degan spoke as he begun to take several pictures including even getting lucky with a profile picture of the man. "This is big...Hes helping them....but by himself?"

" I think its time to get out now. Call the others."

Grey spoke into their comm system. "Ok everyone we got our goal. Get out." He spoke into the system to everyone.

The man stopped.....they glanced and watched him through their binoculars as he pulled out a device. it looked like a holotablet. it was to far away to see what he was doing. He glanced around. then followed with his lips moving. He tapped the holotablet a few more times and stood there staring at it. Grey shook in disbelief.... 'It cant be....'

The man looked around using the tablet as what appeared to be a compass....... "A tracker!!" Grey grabbed Degan and hunkered down as the man stared deadpan right into their glass bunker control tower they were using.

"No fucking way." Degan muttered in disbelief.... "He tracked that? How?"

Grey tapped his suit. "We need to go. look." The man begun ordering all the machines to start glancing around. They could not hear what he was saying but now they knew they were being watched. Their signal must have been picked up. but how?

What if...... "Now!" Degan pulled him out of the box back into the open again out of eyesight.

---

The man spoke out loud to the robots "WE ARE NOT ALONE. SCAN THE AREA!!" He commanded as the robots begun to disperse.

"If this was a trap," Connor began, "I don't think we'd be wondering if it was by now." As he spoke, he turned on his camera, and began recording. He first directed it at the robots that walked by, leaving the focus on them for as long as possible before moving it to what was written on the crates. "Let's find out what's in these, shall we." With that said, he gets as good a grip as he could get on the top of the crate, and with the added strength of his frame began to pry it open. The lid opened painfully slow, and with even the slightest noise Connor stopped for a minute before continuing. And what he found inside shouldn't have surprised him, it was mining equipment. Namely explosives. "Bah," he said, resisting the urge to throw the lid back down. Useless, he had found nothing.

He spotted Jawz slink off by herself and decided to follow. Sadly, he couldn't keep up. And within moments she had disappeared. "Damn, damn, damn, damn." he hissed to himself as he tried his best to follow her trail, which is particularly hard to do on concrete. Yet somehow, he managed. Lucky for Jawz to, because as he rounded the corner he saw the robot bearing down on her hiding spot. "Shit." he muttered as he looked for something to distract the robot with. Picking up a pebble, he peaks around the corner to make sure the robot wasn't watching, and chucks it down the corridor where the robot had come from.

With the robot now distracted, hopefully, he gets Jawz's attention via hand waving and signals for her to get the hell out of there. Which was when they call to bug out, funnily enough. But there was still the matter of there being a robot hovering over Jawz. Well, if worse came to worse he had his chimera, a knife, and the drop on the robot.

The robot turned just as Jawz thought she was going to have to fight the damn thing. On top of it she heard voices. Or a voice for that matter. 'Who was that?' She though to herself. It had to have been Connor or something. She used her night vision in the dark room. They werent able to use their intercom system anymore. They were discovered. Just as the machine was occupied by whoever wanted to grab its attention the next on was commanded to investigate the area as well. Now they had 2 to deal with. She wasnt going to be able to fight them. Now was a cat and mouse game to get the fuck out. If their identities wer caprtured they would have to face the entire Britania government as to why the american faction was snooping around their territory. 'We cant talk to each other. Nor communicate. We have to fend for ourselves.' She thought.

The mech made its way toward Connor. He could not take it out with the rest lingering around aware he was in the area. THat would not only be wreckless but stupid. Connor would have to evacuate and take shelter until the machine and or machines gave up on him.

(Everyone cannot combat the machines in the cave. It is hide or be discovered. I will narrate the machines. Your choices must be actively planned to not get caught. That is imperative to the mission))

Marka watched as Ikari split from the group and trailed off, alright seems he was busy. As she was about to ask Bade something she notice a crate...it had familiar language imprinted on the front, getting closer she would take a closer look and read "Khronologiya zhizni?" She soon looked very confused as...it was in Russian..."Life hex?" she said in English...what was a life hex is the big question, she dint know what was inside the crate and knowing how active this could be best not open it and make one loud creek but from the multiple small metal holes of the steel crate she could see some metal tube's with a radiation hazard engraved on them...seem some kind of nuclear device? power even? She dint know but as such raising her wrist her device would scan the words three times and save a copy of the image, this crate was rather abandoned to the side as the rest where slowly take to different rooms and this one was nest. But as Marka thought something was odd a piercing static noise came from her helm, making her clench and deactivate her helms communication, she could only hear it of course seeing it was in her helm and it was rather,...echo in there, "The hell was that" She though to herself as as well her radio was going crazy spraying random bunches of letters and words for no reason, Turning back on her radio she began to trace the signal to the source, Beside going down the gave right near the entrance was a small grate, she was sleep and was not wearing some heavy combat suit that is for sire, it was something if interest that is for sure. Marka would go on her chest and crawl inside the vent system and slowly make her way to the other side as the signal got stronger and stronger till all she could hear was this high pitch "EEEEeeeing" noise, on the other side it lead her to a long corridor, nothing else there is nothing here and she was RIGHT on the spot.

Soon grey would speak through com's that they where done here but Marka dint hear any of it as the signal was being jam heavily by something in her area, she might not even know where she is all she knows, its a empty corridor and there is something here causing the jam. Turning around seem to reveal...the cause of the jam, Marka looked up at it and dint move thinking she was done for: A massive 10 feet tall four quadrupedal like machine tower over her and just stared down at her with its unblinking multiple eyes, covered in plates of metal and yellow in color, legs where curved and rather odd in nature as it stood like a statue. Marka just stared at it but it dint do anything
"...Guys i think i found something, guys?" she repeated noting how her message was not being sent, was this the cause of the jam? never the less even if it was not it some of interest. Raising her PDA she would snap a few pictures of it, its head, body, etc making sure to take this thing all around "My radio still on-" she noticed as the static sound was making her crazy, once turning off the radio, a she briefly remembers is feeling painful hit on her chest as she was flung down the hall as her breath was taken away. Landing harshly on her back, grunting and taking back the lost breath she would look towards the machine as it began to slowly walk towards her as it continued to make clicking noises and hisses. "Ugh...you...dam thing" Marka grunted standing up noticing she had to get out, now, there was no time. Her PDA said "Error" its screen and her radio was going crazy again, yes there was no thought this thing was causing the blockage, and a serious one.

"Can any of you hear me...its- *cough* its Marka, having some-- some little trouble" She said under her heavy breaths still gasping for air as she slowly backed up as the machine slowly approach keeping a equal distance. She surely could not be heard as this machine was blocking the signal, she was on her own now, she cant think of the others. As she approach the door behind her there seem no one there, just a T section of corridor, was this some maze? why so man corridors, Taking a left she continued off only to look back and see its following, it was slow, she will be fine, or so she though. It stood still for a moment and stared at Marka from the bottom as a small beam would point at Marka as it stared "Oh shit" Marka began to rush her pace and sprint down the corridor as this was a bad idea going in the corridor as this is what it wanted, only to get shot. No sound was made it was a odd silent shot, piercing her shoulder, it felt like electricity but as well like a projectile. Clenching in pain and falling down she grunted and bleeding, looking back, as it got close. it dint want to kill her that is for sure. Standing once again up while holding her shoulder she began to continue to a L section leading to what seem a open area, with the same layout as where they came in from, it was not the same one just a different one, seem there where multiple ways o getting out and it of here.

Connor nearly grunted in frustration, but kept it down considering there was a mech coming right for him that may or may not hear it. He had to fall back, or risk being discovered. Giving a worried look towards Jawz, he slowly and quietly begins to back up the way he came. And he kept going until he found a small room, most likely a former janitor's closet, and crept into that. He stood in the room and held his breath, ears straining for any noise, and his mmg pointed at the door in case anything he didn't want to see felt like opening it.

As the second machine started for the room Jawz turned on her scanner to sense if there was any opening. something. She would be trapped in here. Sh saw a dusty crate that stood alone and saw a small vent peaking behind it. 'perhaps.....' She slowly pushed it away keeping an eye out as the machine came closer and closer. Success. The vent was small enough to crawl through. She used a knife laser to saw through he old bolts and immediately hauled herself inside before going deeper as the machine entered the room. She could only hope the old spider web dusted vent was going to lead her to another room along with dealing with getting spotted by the other enemy. She pushed through another vent before detecting a body. "Marka??" She grunted as she lunged herself from the vent. "What are you in here for?" She wasnt sure where she ended up but it was only a 20 foot crawl. She had to be in a room nearby. She couldnt radio whoever distracted her ( Soviet Panda Soviet Panda )

The group was disbanded currently. They were all on their own as the machines and the man searched him. Luckily they mapped our their exit point with their HUD as long as they could get out before the machines blocked their route. This would be only a matter of time and tricking them.

Alerius would have reached up to pinch the bridge of his nose had his helmet not been totally in the way of that kind of thing. He really hated needing a suit but it had it's advantages, especially in these kinds of situations where even so much as his breath would give him away. Thankfully his helmet blocked sound like that simply by being present over his face. His filters were quiet and his Hud worked perfectly. His night vision worked far better than the old Green versions that severely restricted peripheral vision. His highlighted the outlines in subtly different colors as well as providing better color saturation depending on the level of light available. It also had flare compensation but that provided only a marginal difference.

Separated from the rest of the squad he slowly made his way forward, relying on the ever encroaching darkness and his cloak to keep him well hidden. Due to the sheer dark his cloak shimmer was marginal at best making him little more than a ghost should he remain at his current pace throughout the complex. Following the gentle guide in his HUD he made his way slowly toward the exit. Stopping and waiting patiently for any patrols that may pass by him. He'd take cover when he could preferring not to rely too heavily on the cloak If he didn't have to. His weapons stayed Holstered the entire time. The last thing he needed was the sound of a holster or sheath giving him away.

His breath was steady and even, his steps careful and measured. He took great care to skirt the edges of any patrols and kept his ears open for the sound of anything approaching. He crept through the darkness, Quiet as an Ally cat.

The 2 girls were faced with a predicament. Now they both had to sneak out and prevent getting caught. This was proving to be a tricky situation. Not only that they were completely disconnected from the others. Yonsisac Yonsisac

The were whispering about the best way to get out. They begun to make their way out of the side into a hallway that veined off from where the robot was occupied as well as the other one with whoever they knew got their attention. They were currently sneaking around trying not to get any unwanted attention.

During this time Grey and Degan were busy sneaking through the hallways avoiding the patrolling man and the two machines. They played hide and seek. and very well to add on to that. The two were creeping through the hallways on their way back to the entrance. It wasnt easy and they spotted in their HUD that Connor was close by as well. This being said it probably was best for them not to get his attention as he was dealing with a machine themselves. Now they were starting to make their rounds as their computers were not apparently programmed to take control of the entrance. This told Degan and Grey one thing. They were not combat AI. they were for work. They could use this to their advantage and hopefully the pothers would catch on to that as well.

Abdel featherfall Abdel featherfall Alerius was caught by a machine. It knew he was nearby but was having a hard time finding him. The sensors were more than likely cameras rather than a heat signature sensor. Or even a night vision. Perhaps this is why they were not able to catch anyone from their hiding spots outside the nuclear facility.

Marka began to look around where she was, it was a large room like the one the cave entrance lead to but it seems rather incomplete, maybe it was under construction? abandon? she dint know and dint matter, all that made her see where the few lights on the ceiling and the glowing 2 tubes, empty and few others just glass and nothing inside. Looking back at the machine it was slow but it was approaching and as she was about to look for any entrance or exit to travel to, taking cover behind one of the mid constructed pillars the machine was entering the large room and its flat-one eyed head looked around as it began to scan with its eye different places of the room, looking. The machines footsteps dint make slight noise as if it was silent, from what she could see those feet are padded or something but enough about this dam thing. Soon her short radio would come to life but with static still, Marka replied whispering "Jawz? Is that you? where the hell are you?! look, wherever you are, we are close but i got good news and bad news. Remember the signal interference we had? I found the source, Bad news that source is looking for me" Replying and looking slightly to the side of the pillar taking a quick glance seeing the machine walk the opposite direction from her behind one of the tubes "I am, what seems a main room, i don't know, there are multiple doors leading in here so check, just be careful, this dam thing shot me, there is a ton of crates and stuff, so i guess we can sneak out of this, there seems to be some cargo bay on the other side but this thing is patro-" Marka cut off as she grasp her shoulder at the feeling of a strong shock, Like that of a tazzer but lighter, keeping her breath and trying not to lose her balance and slump over she know this was not a bullet "I-I don't know, I have the s-suspicion i dint get sh-shot with a bullet" Marka informed as she took slight and concentrated breaths looking around.

They had to get out of here, that cargo bay was there only option to get out but dint seems there was a panel or any type of computer to open it, all that she could see was some kind of sensor on the top of the door that continuously scan in front of it. Marka last time she looked over the pillar and saw a wide open door compared to the others who where closed but when the machine pass by the open automatically, right in the same section where she was, it was empty with just a sign on top. "There is a wide open door in the place, can be clearly noticeable, i am going there,i am not safe outside like this" Marka said only to slowly crawl towards the room and manage to slip inside without the machine seeing her at least. It began to walk right through the middle of the room and stood in the middle as it began to turn left and right, face one direction and repeat. Like a guard dog it was watching, a camera.

She placed her back against the wall and grasp her shoulder tightly from the still remaining pain. Her right hand was rather limp and it surely dint seem like she would be able to move it any time soon correctly "Jawz. be careful, You don't want to get shot hehe, you are gonna be for some shocking experience i tell you that, But seriously now, that cargo bay door, i dint see any console, i don't know how it can open, maybe by ID or something?" She said looking out of the door and only to see one of the closed ones slide open, seeing jawz inside, Marka waved slightly for her to come. The machine heard the door and began to slowly turn towards it.

Jaws was confused what the fuck was she talking about. Bullet. Machine. Source of jamming our signals?

" Marka what do you mean?" She said sneaking around the abandoned area. The group was disbanded they had no room for error. She found Marka and noticed the cargo door that looked to be unused for go knows how long. What was this? Was this for loading old tech and cargo from back in the day? A zap went off right after. Jawz squated into cover and immeaditely felt her adrenaline start to go off. WHat was that??? "Marka you ok? She whispered. They heard a machine style clanking of gears and synthetic joints. Something was nearby. Jawz went for cover. But there wasnt anything useful. "Marka whats going on?"

(GM allowed me to control his character, in order not to hold up the RP)

"I am fine, Look there is a big, four legged, THING looking for me, I don't know but its not friendly, i will explain once we get out of here alive"
She said behind cover holding her shoulder,as soon the large machine would be heard moving , It turn and face the cargo and began to walk towards it as soon it would swing open as the beam scan it, revealing a other large cave entrance from what could be guess leads outside, it stood on the door way scanning outside looking for if they manage to escape. Marka Carefully peeking notice it was giving them the back, they had a chance surely if it dint turn around, but immediately Marka went to cover "We can get out of here" She said as Jawz would point out how the machine seem to only have a specific looking radius as seen with the beams, with Markas keen eyes she notice there was a slight blind spot on the side where it could not reach allowing them to slip out, knowing this was there only chance, "Ok i guess this is our only chance..." With a nod and slight breaths and both soon would begin slowly approach the machine from behind, maintaining themselves behind cover while going from box, pillar and any sort if cover that would lead them unnoticed by the machine or heard of. It was still at the door way not looking back but soon after they reach rather close distance towards it it would begin to turn to the left, slowly coming back from where it was, knowing how while it turn it would lead a clear pass behind him and outside both would quickly sneak behind it as it turn around and manage to reach the door, it was a success as the machine dint notice them, now, the machine looking back inside the room.

Marka and Jawz would make there way up large cavernous passage way but in the mids of it, Marka would once again receive another strong shock making her fall on the ground rather loudly, her helmet having a slight crack yet not broken, just damaged from the fall. The machine would spring its head up as it elongated and detached mostly from its body as it creepily looked backwards with its head twisted staring at them. It began to make the same clicking noises as before Marka was with Jawz and this time it dint seem it wanted them alive. Its 4 long legs would begin to quickly trample along the stone ground rather charging towards them as its red glowing eyes was a menacing sight. Jawz help Marka up and lead her out of the cave just in time as the machine would charge out of it, sliding to a stop and looking at them as they where outside, It was a heavy forested area, dint seems like there was much activity here and that was good. "I-I am F-fine" Marka said regaining her footing but still rather dazed from the second shock, she felt her limbs tired but still ok at least. Jawz notice the machine staring at them and surely, they could not leave with this chasing them.

Marka saw how some parts of the machine where not metal bit instead some odd, plastic looking material, acted like cloth mostly seen on joints and its belly, surely in order to keep its movement they could not armor the whole thing up. Above them there was a clear sign of some watch tower, maybe a other robot as a light sweep the trees, it was a need to silence this machine before it gets off hand. Jawz would turn her Gruber in dual temper blades, Marka would stand up and try to wield her knife, using her none effected hand to use but very steadily trying to use her injured arm. It was hard and painful but hey, if Grey and all those can shrug of pain, she cant act like a cry baby, especially now.

The machine would stare at jawz as a beam would shoot from its head aiming at her the same way like it did to Marka. "Jawz-" "I know!" Jawz interrupted, knowing what it was doing, she would run towards the machine as it tried to keep an eye on her but as Jawz got close it rather "Lost" her, its beam going crazy trying to get a lock on, it dint seem fit for combat that is for sure. Sweeping one of the blades at its limb, its sliced right through, Making gases and sparks fly, Its damaged servo made its leg go limp unable to move it but Jawz was close and one of its rear legs would bend rather unnatural and grab jawz, throwing her away as she slide across the ground. It began to slowly turn even with its damaged leg it was determent. Marka would see the opportunity and would get as close she could and jack her knife deep in the opposite rear leg. Making gases shoot out with heat and sparks and such it fell on its side as both its right side legs where damaged. Slowly pushing itself along the ground with its left set of legs with the inability to escape, Jawz would stand up grasping on of the swords that went out of her hand because of the throw and sink it deep as possible in the metal head of the machine. Making it jerk, flinch and stretch only for it to stop and power down.

"Well that takes care of that...guess you can say, it dint have enough memory to processes" Marka said as jawz would pick up the blade from the ground and the one deeply stuck in the machines skull, ignoring Marka's "joke", took some time to remove the blade but it soon just slip out. "What the hell is this??" Jawz question but only to be interrupted by the sudden opening of signals and messages coming through finally, yep this thing was causing interference. But on Markas side her Radio was going crazy reaching many signals from all directions. Raising her PDA Marka would look through the rather growing list of random numbers but one rather stood out of the rest, it was heavily coded, military grade to say the least. "Hold on... i think i found so-" Marka soon jerked and fell to the ground at the sudden shock sent through her body for the third time, but each time it shock it got weaker and weaker but still, it dint mean it wont hurt, this time it seem it did the trick, she lay on the ground taking fast breaths and and looking around as Jawz came quick and looked at the wound, it dint go deep it was rather surfaced, "Hold on.." Jawz replied as she would remove Marka's knife from the machine and come back as with its thin sharp edge against the end of the object she would slowly slide it out only for it to be stuck, it seem it was stuck? but how? Marka rather bite down on her lips and there where few grunts here and there while it happen, seeing this one one heck o a painful trip for her, well for her. But as Jawz took a closer took the end sticking out was covered in small thorn like spikes, hence why it was hard to remove as those sharp edges where hooked. "J-jawz i am fine its just a small...just get me up" With Marka now back on her feet, making sure to put some form of cloth/bandage on it to prevent any further harm and with Jawz making sure she docent fall. Marka would look at her PDA and kindly ask Jawz to remove it from her wrist and to hold it up. Seeing she could only use one hand mostly. Pressing the odd bunch of numbers on the list would reveal a heavy inscription, not impossible but she has done it before. She manage to get it open only to hear a looping message..something about "Revolutions".

The loop continued. Jawz stood in absolute peril as she listened to it. It was much to errie to be a coincidence. "revolutions." Jawz repeated out loud. Although they managed to make it out in their own way the other group was still stuck inside. And they had no idea where they were more importantly, they had no idea what it meant. Marka was talking about the thing causing interference. "What do you mean? Like it causes interference? Like a jammer?" Jawz had never seen anything like it. Like a long legged dingo like dog robot. Or coyote of the sort. This was certainly never something xshe had seen before even when she lived on the mother ship.

They begun to inspect it upon inspecting Jawz was completely lost. Upon Marka inspecting she hummed through data on her portable tablet that whirled out along with her thinking noises. The timing couldn't have been worse. They would have to get the fuck out. The other group couldn't contact them. They would have to meet at the rendezvous point. Jawz pulled out her radar system. It begun to fizzle and fade in her HUD. "Fuck. my radar is having issues.....Hang on." Jawz tried the hard reset on her HUD which turned off everything including her vital signs which only had a super high heart rate and her Nanosuit repairing scratches and scuffs. "Ok its coming back.....hangon....."Jawz turned on and once again the signal on her HUD was tormented with static. she toggled it off in frustration. "FUCK NOTHING!!" She said as they begun to clear the area quickly. "We need to get out of here. more might be on their way if that thing has the ability to alert people, jam radars, and block signals, then it has the ability then it probably sent out an SOS before we destroyed it." Jawz suggested they use their skills to best get back to the rendezvous point. they had no mechs, no travel forms. All on foot. They were far from anything. at all. But they had to try to get back to the point. "try your GPS HUD. " ( Yonsisac Yonsisac having no luck as well from the helmet injury on her system) they begun to delve into the woods with only an old school compass for navigation taking them east where they knew was their general direction.

Grey managed to sneak around with Degan. They both had now evidence of the person of interest. It was a man. Middle aged it looked. There had to be a reason he was here alone this whole time. This and Degan made a great point about the man having something to do with the machines. "Do you think they built them. Or he for that matter." Degan asked.

"I dont think he could have done this all by himself. It had to be linked to Britania some how. After all we suspect they are behind it to begin with. " Grey replied sneaking ever so quietly as they came across the last of the machines before making their final break through the tunnels back to the entrance. They hurried as fast as they could sneak. What took a mere 20 minutes felt like a death defying hour just to make it to the mouth of the cave. But finally. FINALLY they were out. They both scurried for the bushes and they glanced back and saw no one exiting behind them. They could only hope the others got out. They begun immediately making a break for the rendezvous point. There was no end in sight. Smacking through bushes, tearing up through their armor scratching it as the nanobots monitored their heartrate and blood pressure. They were more than likely going to have to have a massive cold drink when they got back. The group saw no one. Their night vision ow on not getting them anywhere let alone. Finally they made their way to the rendezvous point where the coordinates were marked by N himself. "Ok how long until it gets here?" Degan said.

Grey activated the signal as a silent beeping about as loud as a thumbtack hitting a steel floor would make. "Better be fucking soon. everyone needs to hurry or this mission is a complete bust."

The chopper will get us one way or another.)

Alerius froze like a cat caught eating something they shouldn't be. The robot had detected him somehow but if he was lucky now that he was sitting still it would assume it was simply another life form like a mouse or similar. He allowed the darkness to completely envelop him. Thankfully he was against the edge of the wall so he wasn't in anythings path. This was bad though if he got caught he'd never live it down. His breathing was forcibly slowed to try to control the thudding in his chest.

Two or Three long minutes passed. It seemed like eternity and his muscles had a somewhat dull ache from the awkward position he'd frozen in. However the Robot seemed to finally move on. That was too close for comfort. He'd continue his slow but steady crawl forward. He was making good progress over all and was near the entrance before he was forced to stop once more. Another fucking robot, though this time it didn't seem to spot him, yet anyway. He waited for it to move onward before he would attempt to make his way to the rendezvous point. This was his last obstacle then he was home free.

Marka looked at what they just caught, this "Revolutions" thing is...of utmost interest, Knowing it was just a loop, Marka made a copy of it and made sure to store it in her PDA as this will be interesting once they get out of here alive and can identifies the source knowing they wont be hunted down by mechanical robo dogs. Looking at jawz asking Marka pointed at the thing and added "Yea this um....this...THING! was causing interference, i don't know how but for something of such size being able to do so much is virtually impossible knowing all the equipment it will need to do ALL that especially with such a large waveband. Its down now so that is good" Marka explain in the way she knew as, neither could arka understand how was it possible especially the machine itself look so...uncanny, very intimidating for just its appearance.

Soon after looking around and seeing how they where in the dark, no squad, no working radar, nothing, it was up to them and only them. Hearing how Jawz is having trouble with her equipment, Mara would try her GPS Hud but after that hit in the head with the stone floor of the cave it damaged her head gear, the map would flicker and die off as the clear crack in her vision rather made images pop distorted "Its working in some way, but busted" She said with a sigh as soon the only thing they had was a Compass and coordinate that appeared on Markas hud, that was all, It dint say exactly where to go only a hint as the coordinates on screen where rather unfinished or missing some parts after that hit, opening her PDA she would transfer all HUD info to the more perfect looking screen, the coordinates incomplete and faint directions where to go but those wont help one bit. "Alright guess we are going this old school" Marka said only to begin the march with Jawz down the dark Forrest, going east as that was there only hint. Holding the cloth over her injured shoulder both walked deep down the Forrest, Marka keeping a sharp eye out for anything, noise or even a monkey with 10 arms and beam eyes or something this time. Marka could feel sudden faint charges of shock from the wound with the projectile still lobed inside her shoulder, it seem to ran out of left power to shock her and that was good...but the feeling was still there, what she worried most was getting a infection or even worse get a arm growing out of it. "Hey jawz i am actually wondering of something, Where you part of the canines before hand or are you a new addition or something the likes?" She asked looking around thinking, from her knowledge Marka has never heard of "Jawz" character being in the canines before and it rather rang a bell if she was new or something in that style, plus as well she wanted to know more about who she was working with...well maybe Connor and the others might be left for some other time...she wanted her fingers intact still. I mean she would surely know about them after the history but hey better "Start over" and get to know everyone as if they never met...well they have never met but she knows about them- You know what i mean!

But as far she knew, this was a whole new thing, better start from zero in a way. Passing through thick foliage, going over bushes and fallen tree trunk they marched further and further, and even so...she hated the Forrest already after what happen, if they smell the rotten copper smell of blood or see dead monkeys, yep they where close then but surely they wont even see them knowing how they are coming from a whole new direction.

After what felt like hours, Connor slowly opened the door he was hiding behind, and found nothing. The robot must have either not seen the door, or figured nothing would be behind it. Didn't really matter what it thought, he was just glad that it hadn't detected him. So he began his painfully slow extract from the maze that was the nuclear facility. And to make matters worse, he had to back track several times not only because he got lost, but because there was a robot in his way and he had to rush to a good hiding spot. But eventually he found his way out and back into the relatively fresh air, it being poisonous and all.

He checked his HUD for where everyone else was, but got nothing but static. "Damn," he muttered as he made hiss way into the forest to silently disappear. Once he was sure he was out of sight, he began trying to radio the others. "Anyone there? Hello?" He repeated that several times, switching between secured channels, before eventually giving up. Where did they say extract was going to be again? He thought he knew where it was. And judging by the moon and the alignment of the stars, he would have to guess which way exactly that would be. Okay, calm down, the sun rises in the East and sets in the West, same with the moon, so he knew the four cardinal directions. He now just had to work from there. So off he went in what he hoped was the right direction.

Ikari Shio 1.png
Ikari let out a breath. Looking on the top of his HUD he saw a cation sign and he growled. Walking over to the egg sacks, the man drew his split sword and turned them into guns, the barrels going off into each egg at point blank range. He sure as hell wasn't going to risk fighting a pack of the Kyodai Jigoku's children. Maybe if someone else was by him and he was training at camp or something of the sorts. But he wasn't and he was lucky to live due to his missteps and his luck in shots to the fresh corpse behind him.

Looking back at the slain beast, Ikari walked over to it and patted the hard plating. "There is always respect given to those who give a good fight. Rest well." Ikari whispered, taking the bit of the tusk that had snapped off from the monster during the course of their duel worthy of a story if he got out of here alive.

Exiting through the big entrance that seemed man-made to a degree, Ikari once again had to rely on his red glow from his mask. Stepping around a puddle, he stopped. It was way too quiet for a cave system. "Suit. Heighten my awareness. If you even can." The outcome of his command? A few shades higher in the light his mask gave off. Casting his gaze around he didn't see anything out of the ordinary so he kept on going.

Soon he came to another room like the one he had fought his opponent in but smaller and with far less holes. Staying by the wall, Ikari went out in a passageway to the left, having to inch his way in sideways, feet pointed in the way he was going, arms outstretched on either side of him. For about 37 feet the Japanese man walked like this until he entered a room and froze.

"What the fuck... Is that?" He asked. The small buzzing in his suit faded as he fully stood in the room so he radioed his comrades. "Shio Ikari here. If anyone can hear me, i've found something real messed up in your term." He started. "There's a little girl's school bag of america's Hello Kitty on the back with something whizzing inside. Worst part is, there's a withered corpse underneath that looks like it's skin was like turned into spandex to fit right on their bones not counting the wrinkles. Can i get a live feed to anyone who hears me? Can anyone hear me?" The man asked. Before he stopped to let other voices through to him, something stepped around in the darkness, a decent distance from him but still close enough he could hear it; Could feel it's foot hit the ground. Taking his hand off the side of his helm, (one way to communicate with everyone besides the mic in his hand) Ikari slowly drew his sword. Lowering the light output from his mask, the man crouched, awaiting a response. If he didn't get one soon, he'd find a way to snap pictures and get out of there. He wasn't alone and whatever was with him was heavier then the Kyodai Jigoku he'd already faced.

The drop ship whizzed through the night-sky. It was in a cloaking shield making it much harder to detect than a traditional drop ship. There was no way in hell that anything this far from civilization would be able to detect it. Perhaps just the thrusters going to work on the ship that caused the drop ship to hover above the ground. Commander N got the signal from Grey and Degan. It was time. N had his team sent out the minute it fired they were less than 15 minutes out perhaps 20 minutes.

The signal jammer was causing loads of issues. they weren't allowed to send out any comms but the dropship got one.... What was that? What that?

The signal was interfered by the system on board the drop-ship. All drop-ships link Canines com systems directly so they can hear them on their own encrypted server. For obvious reasons along with preventing others from listening in. However once its out of range the canines local comm system uses a traditional transmission system. By Ikari sending out that broadcast. Only 1 minute earlier could have been fatal for the mission. The Drop-ship pilot got on the mic. "Ikari this is Dropship c197, we are oscar mike to your rendezvous location! We will be there in under 20 minutes." now on top of the weird creature Ikari had to get the fuck out of the cave and back to the canines meeting point.

Grey waited with Degan Shortly after some of the Canines begun to meet with the others. They all were going to make it. Grey couldn't believe they were the ones who got caught. How could they be that stupid. Regardless. Grey was there with Degan and they were going to make it. The drop ship would come soon. They wouldn't be able to turn on their signals to hear the radio waves.

jawz and Marka made their way through the region it was filled with brush. They would have to get their shit repaired or at least get to a phone in the city once they got there. This way they could reach out to the U.s. faction. They were busy walking through the night continued. It was filled with sounds of wildlife. The girls helmet perked a bit from her eyebrows moving up causing the helmet to do the same. "No" She replied bluntly. She jumped over a log right after Marka suits creating a glow to aid their walking in the night. "I was actually on the mother ship back on the u.s. mother ship from birth. I lived a pretty good life most my life until i turned 20. After that I kind of just ended up here by chance."( Yonsisac Yonsisac ask her if she was always friends with grey. and why she lived in manchine region)

She hopped through a wet stream feet getting wet but her nanosuit doing its job keeping the water out.

Marka followed behind jawz as she lead the way, her suit giving off a light dim blue light making sure to let them see where to step at most besides being in the total deep dark in this place. Hearing Jawz say no made her nod now knowing she was a new addition but soon she continue to spoke that she spent 20 years of her life living in the U.S Mother ship, knowing after such she ended up here in the Crimson canines, made her wonder what was her affiliation up there but even so just by seeing her here was clear to tell, Jawz is one heck of a soldier, that is all that has to be said. As they march and went over a rather slippery tree trunk with Marka mostly slipping and falling, but gladly the branches gave her where to hold and prevent such fall. She wondered what was her friendship with Grey, both seem to know each other very well "So you lived in the machine region all this time? But why exactly?" Marka asked wondering.

As they walked, Marka saw a rather odd pair of glowing blue eyes towards them from the left but Marka smiled as she knew one of the wildlife that has mutated to have such beautiful eyes. A rather squirrel like creature slowly and carefully approach Marka being caught by the dim glow of her suit "well hello there..." She said softly as, they should not stop. With a shake of her head and continuing there journey with jawz both walked with the creature following them still seem to be distracted by the suits light, those "Glow Squirrels" are rather known for there blue glow and it seems this one though Marka was one of them. Ignoring the small creature Marka asked "Hey Jawz, i been thinking something, if you don't mind me asking but how long have you been friends with Grey? you two seem to know each other pretty well that is for sure" She asked as instead of jumping over the stream Marka just walked through it, to tired to jump so little...

Looking back the small Squirrel still follow her, sometimes poking Marka but she tried scarring it away by intentional making kicking the ground in front of it softly but even still it dint stop and continue its brave adventure following the human "Um... stop please- Choo-choo!" Waving it away but still it follow them.

"Ikari this is Dropship c197, we are Oscar mike to your rendezvous location! We will be there in under 20 minutes." Ikari heard the message and shot one back. "The hell do you mean rendezvous point?! I haven't heard a damn thing about a- SHIT!"

Rocks flew by the man in a loud bang that got partially in his message to the dropship. Rolling, Ikari's mask lit back up and he saw a metal thing in front of him. Without thinking very much, he bolted forwards to grab the bag. Putting it on he grunted.

"Dropship we got a problem here!" The Japanese man called out. "That bag weighs way over thirty pounds and i got a mech or something CHASING ME!" To emphasis that, gunfire went off as Ikari jumped around a corner.

The bag nearly crushed him when he landed. To make things worse, his shoulder was acting up once again. Struggling to get up, the thing chasing him hissed and clanked while it advanced on where he was. "Damnit...!" Ikari muttered, standing up as he ran again, dodging boxes and running through the cave systems in an attempt to get out.

The further he went, the slower the man got over a bit of time. Even if one man is powerful, they can't escape fatigue forever if they keep running. Soon the canine was jogging at a pleasurable pace for himself with whatever was in the bag. It had almost stopped humming but the noise was still present.

"Dropship. If you'd like to answer me again, Where is the redevous point and if you can, tell me how the heck am i supposed to escape when i'm being pursued? Should i engage the target?"
Ikari asked, panting softly. The man took off the bag and leaned on a wall, his hands on his knees. He asked his suit to cool him off and give him something to make the tiredness dissipate. He risked being way more tired later but he accepted that so long as he didn't fail his mission to find evidence.
