Name: Zane Dunn
Age: 15
Year: Sophomore
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Appearance:

theater_kid_by_hetalialover543_dbko3m4-fullview.jpg

Height: 5'8
Bio:
Personality
: Zane is definitely a dramatic person. He is the lead theater kid. He was the lead in every play he has been in, but despite that, he isn't very 'controlling'. However, sometimes Zane can boast a bit on his past roles, and what plays he have been in. He is a drama geek. Zane is actually laid back, and a chill person. Almost too chill sometimes.. he rarely does his homework and only practices for plays in the bathroom mirror. He's not really interested in any other subject besides theater. Zane is not really a curious person in school besides in the theater. He wants to participate in this missing art search because one of his only, very close friends is in the art industry. He wants to find his best friend's art piece and reunite it with him. He's very caring for his few friends and will just do about anything for them. Zane isn't really popular in his school, however he doesn't get picked on (anymore). He is very determined to accomplish any goal he wants and will do anything to succeed in it. (Here are just some summary bullet points for his personality)
  • Caring
  • Dramatic
  • (Too) Chill
  • Determined
  • Ordinary theater kid

History: Zane was born on June 3rd, 2004. He has always been a theater kid since he was 7 years old. And he was bullied for that. At one point, the bullying was almost too much for him and he wanted to transfer schools or quit theater. But he stayed strong and remained doing what he loved. Acting. His friend who is in the art business actually helped him get over his problems. That's why Zane wants to repay him by finding his missing art work! His mom was always supportive of him. She supported him for acting, wanting to be an actor when he grows up, and being a part of the LGBTQ+ community. It was hard for him to tell his family that he was bi. He was scared that they would hate him. However, his mom was very supporting. His dad on the other hand.. Zane's dad doesn't really support Zane. They just kinda ignore each other and sometimes they fight. Zane's dad also drinks a lot. He's surprised their parents haven't gotten a divorce yet. His mom is just super patient. Zane has no siblings.
Zane has always been a slacker in school. He almost had to stay back one year. His mom had always tried to make him interested in school subjects but has never succeeded in doing so. Zane's mom is very involved in his life. She's very protective of him.

Clubs: Theater
Other: Zane actually takes piano classes as well (Not at his school). He says it's the "Instrument of the theater."

+ honest; hardworking; humorous | = pessimistic; carefree; witty | - rude; selfish; petty;
isamine is a tough case to crack. she’s careless, she’s cold, and could simply be described as a b****. she is constantly critiquing others for their wrongdoings to take the spotlight away from her. when she finds the chance to insult someone, she takes it. of course, it’s obvious she has a few underlying issues that causes her to act this way. her parents are divorced, she has very little friends at school, and her grades are dropping from a steady B to a C-. the truth is, she thinks so lowly of herself that she believes if she can have others feel the same pain she feels, that they would be able to relate to her.

biography

isamine was born and raised in stonewell (despite her japanese roots), and as a native, knows her town like the back her hand. her parents, being tour guides of the town, taught their daughter everything they could about the town, from the playground down the street to stonewell high school, that was located a few blocks from her house. as time passed, isa realized her love for not only her town, but for nature, too. she could remember the days and nights where she had begged her parents to buy her the tools needed to have a garden, and her excitement when she received exactly what she wanted that christmas. everything in her life was perfect.

but all good things must come to an end. eventually, her parents couldn’t make time for each other due to work, and drifted apart. isamine was undoubtedly upset that the two people who had been so prominent in her life were slowly breaking away from each other, but no matter what she did to stop them, the couple divorced at the end of the year, just after new years. her mother had gotten a promotion, and went off to work for a traveling agency.

and just like that, it was only isamine and her father. soon enough, school started up again, and isamine took up the gardening club to give her less free tome to fret on why it had to be her fault her parents divorce. gardening was her comfort blanket, so to speak, something she knew she could rely on, as the plants would rely on her. unlike some people, she realized, her plants would never leave her.

Name: Wesley McMillian

Age: 16

Year: Sophomore

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Appearance:

e10fa37412039ef057c05cffe9713d8a.png

Height: 5'9

Bio: Wesley a bit of a mysterious character though most people know him as an egomaniac and self-proclaimed detective. Most of the time, he's harmless if a bit in your face. Despite his reputation, he's very cheerful and happy-go-lucky and gets along (or tries to get along) with everyone he meets. However, Wes declares most anything a mystery, even if there's really no mystery to it. He seems to obsessed with solving puzzles, especially his quote-unquote "mysteries". In his eyes, it's his way of trying to be helpful.

When he moved to Stonewall two years ago in the last year of middle school, Wes a completely different person. He was subdued and didn't talk to other people very much. No one really knows what changed in the time between high school and middle school, but after he got back from summer break between 8th grade and 9th grade he had done his one-eighty where he was into everyone's business. Perhaps it had to do with his new best friend Jordan, reading too much Sherlock Holmes or some other reason but no one could have said for sure. One thing many agreed on was that it rubbed many the wrong way. However due to Wes's self-inflated purpose, he never really noticed how he might come off as simply annoying. Even though he's friendly to pretty much everyone, he only has one confirmed friend even if they appear to be complete opposites.

He complete relies on Jordan and respects her completely. While he doesn't completely agree with her blunt approach, Wes openly admits that he needs her to keep him grounded. Or 'on his toes' as he puts it. He doesn't hold her aggressive behavior in stride as he does with most anyone. The only time you can see him get truly angry, however, is when someone tries to hurt either Bear or Jordan. Even though Jordan is more than capable of defending herself, just as she is protective of him, he is of her, to a lesser extent.

Though it all, Wes is actually pretty smart and decent at what he does. Not as intelligent as he would have people believe, but smart nonetheless. He's best at math and history and the worst at English class to his chagrin.

Clubs: None but working on getting a detective club approved

Other: Has a dog named Bear that he sometimes uses on cases. Despite Bear being absolutely useless. Not that Wes would ever let anyone call Bear useless.

Name: Damian Steel

Age: 17

Year: Junior

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Appearance:
600790

Height: 7'04

Bio: Damian Steel is a football prodigy, his father was a star college football player and so was his grandfather, so it's a family tradition, and as the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Steel he has to uphold it which he does well. He's extremely strong, fast, and accurate. but what he has in power he lacks in intelligent, often having other students write papers for him when he can't.

Damian keeps up a tough guy persona that most people are scared off by, but deep down he's nice and caring, but if there was a bully food chain, Damian would be at the top of the tier list, bearing down on the normal bullies of the school, if only to stop them from hurting others. He means well most of the time, usually keeping to himself while outside of sports and is pretty quiet.

Being born into a family line of star football players puts a lot of pressure on him to be at the top of every match of football, this often stresses him out to the point of losing sleep, which only causes him more problems and stress, Damian sometimes wishes he didn't have to play football at all.

Clubs: Football Team

Other: Damian is really good a baking

Carrying herself in a confident, assertive way, it's not difficult to undestand why there's this sense of reliability to Jordan, if couped with intimidation when approaching her. She is the sort of girl who you know that going against is a bad, bad idea. She has a bit of a temper, but she does her best to control it, if anything sounding very passive-aggressive for most of the time. She is not the type to stress under preassure, however, to a point some may even perceive as unsettling, and to act cautiously if faced with a challenge. But make no mistake, she's good at what she does, it's not just attitude or even all talk. If she puts her mind to it or takes upon herself to accomplish something, she will take full responsability for it. Some people can be unnerved by this, find her condescending and arrogant in a way that she doesn't trust others to do what they are supposed to. To some extent, they're right...but not all. She's blunt but definitely not in an endearing way. Her humor is often dry, sardonic and relies heavily on sarcasm and even going pretty dark at times.

Jordab does not coddle others or even pretend to mask her contempt for others, as well as having a generally pessimistic (although she insists it is purely realistic) and cynical nature. She is the "Watson" to Wesley's "Sherlock", going out her way to make sure her friend doesn't go too far and has more than once been roped into his "detective affairs", or whatever he calls them. Yes, the boy has some social skills but he needs someone to ground him when he flies too close to the sun and look out for him. She can be too protective of him sometimes but she cares for what might be the only real friend she's got. This behavior solidifies the idea that despite her at times antagonistic behavior towards Wesley, she cares and is loyal to the fellow sophmore. In addition, she is also extremely sensible towards others, but dislikes giving away any signs of sentimentality on her part.

Jordan immigrated from Australia to the States when she was twelve, living there aside from a few years she spent in Dublin with her father when she was around four years old. They are now divorced, Jordan living with her mother and stepfather, as well as her stepsiblings and her younger brother. Given her androgynous looks and overbearing attitude, she had a bit of a hard time growing up as a result in an interpersonal level. She'd focus solely on excelling academically as a result, taking an interest in particular in crime and medical science.

The Summer break between her 8th and 9th grade would somehow become a turning point in her life, when she became closer to a boy by the name of Wesley McMillian. The two, surprisingly, hit it off right away, perhaps because of their complementary personalities and similar interests. She both treasures and admires Wesley, even if she'd never admitted it to his face, but sometimes she worries on what this passion of his will lead him to...thus, whenever he gets rped up in something, she has to follow.

She is Australian of Korean descent.
Pretty much "horror buff". She's also not weak-hearted in the slightest. Even has a bit of a sadistic edge to her. Blood, guts or anything like that doesn't faze her in the slightest.
Has lost count how many times people have mistaken her for a boy. It doesn't bother her, never did. She even got roped into playing a male part back in middle school.
Jordan is what you call "genre-savvy", as in, a character is characterized as a aware of the most common genre tropes of the sort of story he appears to be in a fictional context.
She loves Bear to bits. If anything happened to Bear, she'd kill anyone involved and then herself.

Name: Viola Tanner
Age: 16
Year: Junior
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Appearance:
601248

Bio:
Viola is the middle child of 5 siblings. She's got two older brothers, as well as a pair of younger twin sisters. Luckily they are spaced out enough to where none of them are at school with her anymore. Her oldest brother is about to graduate from college, her second oldest just started college, and her little sisters are only in the 7th grade. This being said they are a pretty close knit family as far as the siblings are concerned. Her parents are usually busy working to provide for a family this large, so a lot of the household chores and upkeep and in their younger days babysitting, is left to them to figure out and complete. Her brothers usually took care of the chores, while she babysat the twins, and did the cooking. She doesn't like to think she has that stereotypical middle child syndrome because she's really not dramatic, but she can't say she doesn't feel just a bit invisible at times. Her quiet demeanor among all the chaos doesn't help too much either. All her siblings are quite rowdy, especially if they start something like play a game of any kind. She usually winds up being more of a referee then a player, especially since there is never an even number for teams.

However due to this she usually finds her peace in things like painting, photography, and reading. She doesn't get to read much at home due to it being too loud, but the other few things she can do even with them being rowdy. If anything sometimes it fuels her best work capturing them being so passionate about usually nothing in particular. At school she's friendly and sweet, but still not someone who tends to stand out in a crowd. She doesn't mind it though since she's got her few friends and that's fine with her. She doesn't need the limelight, in fact be on the outside gives her a better view of everything around her. She's very observant because of that, and likes to keep it that way and drama free.

Now for the first time however she can't just be passive. For the first time something is burning in her to want to do something, anything to help solve the case of the missing artwork for herself and her friends whose work also was stolen. This one hits particularly close to home because it was the first piece of work she was planing on being able to show her parents because it was a symbolic painting of them and the family. She'd really poured her heart and soul into it and for it to just be gone was now devastating. She's not sure how useful she'll be, but she figures she's got to do something since the school won't, and if this guy is willing to try then she'd do her best too.

Clubs:
-Art club
-Book club

Other:
-She always has her camera around her neck
-Violence doesn't bother her, but suspense and tension get's her nervous so she doesn't do well with scary movies
- She took ballet lessons when she was younger for about 5 years. She still practices from time to time when she's alone and has the space.

Atlas Boudreaux

Age:
15

Year:
Sophomore

Gender:
Male

Sexuality:
Gay

Appearance:
601258

Height:

5’6

Bio:
Atlas has always been a quiet and reserved kid since very young. When he was in elementary school, there was a rumor that he was a mute, which wasn’t too unbelievable. This rumor was very quickly proven false when he began conversations with other kids. Atlas has always had a bad attitude in almost all situations and this then caused multiple relationships to last an extremely short time, both platonic and romantic. He also is very artistic and enjoys drawing and painting. He’s recently picked up photography and has since then refused to go anywhere without his camera. When discovering something new that he enjoys, Atlas ends up obsessed with it for months. This includes both music and hobbies. Yet he’s also a quitter and doesn’t know how to play any instruments because he quickly gives up when it gets too hard. This is also another reason why his relationships don’t last very long. More recently, he’s become a bit more reclusive and closed off from others, and for a reason he thinks is valid. It takes quite some time for him to become comfortable with others, then his true personality shines. His humor is quite dry and sarcastic and quite a few times can be very dark, though he’s cautious not to make dark jokes in case others aren’t comfortable with it. He’s all in all a very entertaining guy, it just takes a while for that to show up.

9th grade was by far his worst year. Atlas fell in love with a boy and it ended up turning into a emotionally abusive relationship. Due to these unfortunate events, Atlas has become more closed off than before and refuses to get too close to others in case the same happens again.

Clubs:
Art club
Theater

Other:
Atlas was born in Manchester, England and lived there until he was 12. He has the accent but finds himself using less and less of the slang as the days go by. He also has a cat named Ozzy, a black sphinx.

Name: Steve Freeling

Age: 14

Year: Freshman

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Appearance:
CGvQp24.png

Height: 6' (1.83 m)

Bio:
Steve has grown up in a modern American family. They don't have much money, but things are still a lot better than they could be. His father Zeek works and also often takes random jobs for Labor Ready when work dries up at his regular job, but still makes time for his family. His mother Linda works hours on end and even has to do more work when she finally gets home, but still finds time for her family, having decided a long time ago that her children come first in all matters. He has a twin sister and a younger brother. The three of them also have a 28-year-old sister from their mother's previous marriage who fights against the other members of the family and often throws "Tetsuo Shima-level temper tantrums," as Steve often puts it, when she doesn't get her way. They have also had to move houses several times since Steve and his twin were born, having lived in Stonewall for the past six years. Things aren't as easy as they could be, but somehow Steve and his household manage to get by.

Steve is a friendly guy and most like him. He does his best to meet people with an open mind. He doesn't judge people based on hearsay and rumors and often walks out on those who spread them. He is also very honest and he can't stand thieves and liars. He is also very intelligent and he speaks German and Japanese as fluently as his native English, though algebra makes no sense to him and often leaves him cursing his luck. He is also very good at reading people and he can tell when someone has something to hide. At the same time, he is like a lot of other 14-year-olds: tough, cocky, bullheaded, and often thinking he can do everything on his own; he also has a bad habit of calling people "stupid" (or "Dummkopf") when he disagrees with their views, though he tries to temper this. He can be very sarcastic. He is also exceptionally brave and next to nothing scares him with the exception of snakes. He also has an iron stomach and gore doesn't make him want to vomit the way it often does to others his age. With that said, he also cares deeply about other people and he will do whatever he can to help.

Clubs:

Other:
He loves anime and often wears a Sailor Mercury dog tag around his neck.
He owns a red bicycle that he rides pretty much everywhere.
He owns a male Golden Retriever named Yama who actually proves very useful.

Height: 5'2

Bio: Voted most likely to be a door to door Vacuum salesmen, cause boy does he suck.

Jeremy is the school's token trouble maker, always getting into something or sticking his nose where it doesn't belong, despite his fondness for breaking the rules he's quite the observant snitch and usually goes runing for help at the sight of it.

Unfortunately for him he's built up quite the school record abd isn't trusted by most, so climbing the 'social pole' isnt an easy task, which seems to be one of the few things he's passionate about, instead his failed tries at popularity has lost him friends and given him a status if being 'kind of the worst' in the eyes of most: resulting in bullying, lack of people trying to be his friend, and general bad rep.

As the the middle child of a massive family of 7 he strives to have the spotlight of attention from his parents who are usually working to supply the need of their kids, not normally succeeding in this indeavor, Jeremy strives for attention at school instead, some times going too far with hus spotlight chasing.

Clubs: Table-top games club

Other: Has several catchphrases like: "C'mon! You know me!", "Help ya old pal Jeremy out!", "this blows!" and his favorite: "Cha-ching!"

Name: Christina "Chris" Freeling

Age: 14

Year: Freshman

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Appearance:
GDfDxfE.jpg

Height: 5' 9" (1.75 m)

Bio:
Like her twin brother, Chris has grown up in a modern American family. She appreciates that their father takes time out of his busy schedule. She also appreciates that their mother places her children as top priority above all else. Her elder sister's temper tantrums often get on her nerves. She hopes to not have to move again, but understands that there are no guarantees. Through it all, she's glad to have Steve, whom she is nigh-inseparable from, as her twin brother and generally satisfied with her lot in life, meager as some may consider it to be. She is also one of the very few people who are on friendly terms with Jeremy.

Much like her brother, Chris is friendly and people are naturally drawn to her. While she tries to keep an open mind, unlike her brother, she is inherently distrustful of rich people because of how many look down on those with less money. Unlike her brother, she occasionally does succumb to the rumors surrounding them, though she similarly doesn't give much thought to other rumors and holds similar views on thieves and liars. Like her brother, she is very intelligent and speaks German and Japanese fluently, while she doesn't stumble as much in algebra and holds similar skill in reading people. She also isn't as quick to call people stupid. She is also something of a tomboy. She seldom wears dresses or skirts or "girly" colors like pink and purple and she's more likely to watch Akira or Predator than The Little Mermaid. Like her brother, she has an iron stomach and gore doesn't bother her as much as it does a lot of girls. She's also not afraid to fight if it comes down to it. She also doesn't blanch and scream her head off at the sight of insects the way a lot of girls do; she's more likely to throw it off to the side as if it's nothing. She can also be very sarcastic, and arguably even more so than her twin brother at times. Like her brother, she doesn't scare easily, but her own biggest fear is thunder and lightning. While she won't go quite as far out of her way, like her brother, she similarly cares about others and will help if she can.

Table-top Games Club

Other:
Like her brother, she also loves anime and often wears a Sailor Mars dog tag around her neck.
She has a blue bicycle she rides pretty much everywhere alongside her brother.
