Races
Humanity: 72 billion years and yet humans have still managed to survive in their small corner of the Milky Way Galaxy, they had survived 3 world wars and many off-world colonization and small space war skirmishes between themselves. Now, after their time fighting each other, they had learned to put their differences aside and learn how to make peace with both themselves and other species that are spread out across the Milky Way Galaxy. In this century, currently the year 2235, the United Nations Space Naval Force (U.N.S.N.F), is now launching humanity's first ever naval space vessel that is part of a combat carrier strike group, going for it's first ever deployment out past the Mars deep space military intelligence & research station (D.S.M.I.R.S) ten. They were now going to explore beyond this initial return point, which would have usually returned a crew within 35-60 days of launching from the military space port Athenas. Now Humanity was going to try and make contact with other species and hopefully establish diplomatic relations with as many alien and foreign species as possible and exchange some culture between one another. The humans as far as any space-fairing civilization would have been concerned, humanity was a new space-fairing civilization.
The Tal-rey: A civilization that had gained space-fairing status during the early years of Humanity's stone age, they had been observing humanity ever since. When they had found out that humanity was launching it's own space ship and that it was a military ship and not the regular civilian type space-craft, they had wondered what Humanity thought about the rest of the Galaxy. They are deeply rooted in their own cultural and spiritual beliefs, like humanity, the Tal-rey operate on the principle of innocent until proven guilty, they are mostly recognizable by their deer-like appearance and noticeable similarities to the earth species of a earth Doe, this species is noticeably all female and no sign of any male deer-like members of the species, which has been odd for the species that have encountered it. They are remarkably humble and will not usually engage in confrontation with each other or other species.
The Nadarians: Nadarians, famous for their elegant and fashionable wears throughout the milky-way arm of the known universe. They are a mostly artistic people, preferring to stick to their craft of making fashionable clothes and fabulous artworks for the rest of the galaxy to see, then get involved in any sort of business outside of their planet's issues. They are mostly neutral in a conflict and abhor violence and will not stand for it when it is on their soil. They are a peace-loving society and can be identified mostly by their style of clothing and way they speak, which could be compared to the french sometime in the 18th or 19th century. Besides the Tal-rey, the Nadarians have been the only one of two species to contact humanity when their first space-fairing civilian vessel was launched from the high earth orbital spaceyard Matthis. These two species are the only ones that have shown any sort of friendly intentions with humanity, but have not offered to trade with humanity or exchange any cultural differences between the two races.
The Raquint: The Raquint, a technological species and a firm believer in letting species deal with their own problems and keeping their society off limits from other species, even those like the friendly Tal-rey or the fashionable Nadarians. They are mostly scientists and experts in technological aspects of their lives, their society is built upon the idea that science is a means to a greater understanding of the universe and that nothing is impossible as long as science has existed throughout the universe. They are a close-minded people and will not accept that they are ever wrong or have ever done anything wrong, especially when evidence is placed right in front of them to contradict them, they will still not admit wrong doing whatsoever.
Madarians: Warriors from a time when humanity was still in it's early stages of development. These people are a warrior-like and militaristic type of society, believing that anything is there's for the taking as long as they have the military force and numbers to do so. They are proficient in military tactics and strategy and have even been known to make lightning raids on planets and get away without losing a single member of their military force. They are mostly seen wearing gear and using equipment that is far beyond what humanity can currently build and produce with it's current level of technology. Their space-fairing vessels are mostly military in nature, their ships weapons systems have been rumored to be able to punch a hole through even the thickest of Raquint armor technology, they are not to be trifled with if encountered. They will attack anyone that provokes them and will usually bring the brunt of their weapons to bear on an enemy and will not stop until the enemy is defeated. Their technological prowess and military technology can be compared to the United States of America's Armed forces during the 21st Century of their life time. They, like the Japanese of the world war 2 era of their history, believe in death before dishonor and are not fans of being captured by the enemy, they will usually effect as many escape attempts from captivity as possible.
The Kittarians: A species of mostly intelligent beings, similar in appearance to the earth domestic cat. They are a playful species and are mostly seen playing with each other and anyone that is willing to spend the time with them and have the patience to put up with their antics, they are mostly a species that is known for having the most delicious and edible treats in the whole milky way galaxy. They thrive off of interaction and trade with other species. They have not encountered humanity as a species yet, so they do not know of what humanity has to offer regarding delectable treats and food. They love to see tourists in their main capital city and are a very trusting people, they have always relied on trade with other species, since they seem to have very little natural resources to make their own resources and technology.
I am looking for one or more partners to take part in this rp. Characters will take the roles of humans from different military forces that are on the planet earth that are trained as pilots for combat aircraft/spacecraft. This will mostly take place aboard the Space Navy Aircraft Carrier Invictus, the flag ship of the Invictus class of space carriers, commissioned by the UN Space Navy. Characters will be a part of starburst squadron, a U.N.S.N Multi-role, multi-mission Starfighter squadron, designated as Variable Starfighter Strike/Attack Squadron 171 (VSA).
