I'm posting here about my favorite character to play. I'm aware her backstory is kinda cliché, so I need help cleaning it up a bit. Here she is...

Personality: Normally bubbly, hyper, confident, shameless, extremely sarcastic, and uppity. She has a very short temper and is a bit scary when she's mad. She believes in true love (which I know is kinda contradictory to her history, but that's a totally different situation) and destiny. She's never afraid of a fight even though she's not very strong. She also has severe trust issues.
History: Claire was born in Oklahoma. She was born into a decent family with no siblings. Her parents are still happily married. She started to get into fandoms in about fifth grade, and has been hooked ever since. She played percussion in her school band and was fairly smart. In the 6th grade she was diagnosed with severe anxiety problems. She still sees a therapist every now and then but refuses to take pills, as she feels it is a way of making her not act like herself, and she hates it, even though she knows taking the pills makes everything quite a bit better. She began to open up about her fandoms around seventh grade and was instantly bullied, particularly for being the 'school emo.' She took no mind in them. When they were old enough to have real relationships (not those 'ooooh you like (blank) third grade relationships), her first were with girls. She earned herself the extra title of 'gay emo' and worse, and that did bother her a bit, so she began trying relationships with boys. She graduated as salutatorian when she was 18. When she was 19, she began forging IDs to get into bars. It's not like she had any friends to stop her. Not any that actually knew who she was, anyways. She paid for her tabs with either money scrounged or stolen from her parents or by other, more physical means. She did this until at age 20 she was a full on alcoholic. She began getting into one-night flings with whoever would listen to her. Most of them came from the bars she visited. She was drunk almost every night, and her relationships (with both males and females) lasted no longer than a week. Sometimes she would only see them once and have a one night fling. This happened quite often. When she turned 21, she was legally able to get into bars. That didn't change much, as no one bothered to check her ID anymore anyways. About a few months into 21, she got pregnant, and she had no idea who the father (or possibly mother) was. It was a total game changer for her. The baby was born a month early and died (much to her emotional distress). This was kept a secret from everyone- even her parents. She lived away from them the whole time in a small hotel room. She went into a sort of recluse for a few months afterwards. She still went to bars, yet she managed to stay away from people. Even drunk, she knew she couldn't go through that again. At the age of 22, she managed to scrounge enough money from her parents to move to Chicago. She had to get away from Oklahoma and she knew it. She managed to move in with an old high school enemy in a small, dirty apartment. She wasn't thrilled, but it was the only place she could afford that she could find. After many months of unemployment, she finally got a job at a Sonic as a rollerskating carhop. She tried to keep her focus on that. Those skills eventually led to her winning the national rollerskating carhop competition, even with her lack of any other athletic ability. She saw that as a triumph. She had to stay sober to be able to perform to the best of her abilities, so her alcoholism waned slowly. By the age of 23, she had totally abolished her alcoholism. She still drank, just in much more moderate conditions. However, she has always been extremely sensitive to alcohol, so it doesn't take much to get her drunk. She calls it semi-alcoholism. Ever since her recovery she has started a very successful Tumblr account about bands. She has also managed to pick up the writing skill and has written many fanfictions from Ryden to Frerard and more. From these two combined she has built up quite the following on Tumblr and Wattpad. Since then she has led a happy life, with the exception of her devil of a roommate, who she swears is the child of Satan. She hasn't gone to college, but plans to in the future.
Likes: Art (even though she isn't good at it), singing (ditto), music, writing, Tumblr, MCR, FOB, P!ATD, SIO, anime, beer, reading, Sherlock, Doctor Who, The Phantom Of The Opera.
Dislikes/fears: Needles, cats, little kids, bugs, being abandoned by someone she loves, silence, sitting still (for very long), whistling (the result of a mental illness called misophonia), people (in general).
Dream career: Either band manager or meteorologist.
Other: She worked hard on getting rid of her accent, but sometimes it still manages to slip in, and she hates it.
