Fantasy Change in the Neistin Commonwealth

StrixDesmodus

Totally human, I swear!
The year is 900 Post Founding and the Neistin Commonwealth has never been better! Seriously, it hasn't improved whatsoever since the Neistin Corporation took over the US government 900 years ago. They still hold the people to exorbitant standards of work, study, and expression. They still are the world's chief supplier of chemical goods, medical equipment, electronics, and magical services. They still maintain a great disparity between castes. They still do what they can to keep the proletariat victim to forced obsolescence. But hey, at least they still provide shelter and food to their workers in their modern take on company towns.

Things have changed in recent years, though. As the population continued to yield to the takeover's affects, whether due to faith, fear, or apathy, something began to change among certain members of the population. Students, Trainees, and Level A Laborers in particular seemed prone to this change, which for all intents and purposes seemed to make them vampires.

Now, under the guise of providing medical care and other advantages, Neistin Corp is relocating these individuals to a laboratory near Mt. Neistin, Virginia. Time will tell whether Neistin will exploit or extinguish this change, but for now nobody knows which.

Notes:

Both human and vampire characters are welcome

The vampires will have some common features, but other features will vary among them.

The vampires will be able to leave the laboratory with an escort from at least two laboratory technicians.

The general attitude of the group should be inclusive towards different styles, lengths, and aptitudes of roleplaying, as well other demographics. Therefore, unless the hostility, stereotyping, or elitism is in-character, it will not be tolerated.

Et cetera.
