Fandom Camp Half-Blood; Olympus' Revival

Mornings were gross, Koda found himself thinking this as he dragged himself out of bed. His messy brown hair stuck up in tufts as he bleary eyed got into a tizzy to get ready for the day. As the cabin leader and sole member of the Nyx cabin it was his duty (eheh duty) to welcome the new campers. He put on a batman shirt and jeans, combed his hair to a semi-presentable state. The Nyx cabin was a obsidian building with rubies and emeralds decorated on it. Vines with moonlace and symbols of moons on them, shining like the night sky even in the daylight.

The inside was homey and had a fire place that burned with blue fire. Beds with black silk and down covers, and a TV of all things. Koda added a candy machine and other luxuries, including a fountain to make iris messages. Coming out of the cabin he squinted at the sunlight and nearly stumbled into a trio of people. He literally should learn not to walk while temporarily blinded.

He noticed two of them were familiar but the other one, seemed new and confused. He decided to have a little fun. (Koda pls)
"Oh you see them too, I see them often. A few are my friends, it's just that sometimes they like to eat you." he said with a grin. This wasn't his job, he was suppose to make the new campers feel welcome, but honestly he was too much of a child.

seriously "Really, Koda!" Arc chided his friend when he heard him speak. "Don't tease him. He just arrived here." Sure it was partially true. Some monsters did indeed want to eat you. Most monsters actually. Or turn you to stone. Or maul you. Turn you to stone and then maul you. But Koda was being kind of mean with the teasing. Unfourtanetly arc couldn't resist indulging in some teasing himself. "No need to tell him how doomed he is from the start. Let the orientation film tell him that." They had just gotten the final product of the new orientation film about a year ago. Filmed and directed by Apollo. It was narrated by Percy Jackson, annabeth Chase, Jason grace, and the rest of the seven with several other important facets of they're adventures.

Tina shrugged. "Whatever. I've done my part." She pulled the kazoo out of her pocket and it transformed into a ukulele.
"Now what were those chords again..." She strummed a few experimental ones before striking an F Major and making a face of satisfaction. "Perfect. Well seeing as how camp rules prohibit us from sitting at the same table, I'm gonna go. Arc, help him find where he needs to be, would you?"
With that, Tina strode off towards the Apollo table, but not before bumping into Koda. Whether it was an accident or on purpose, he might never know.

"B-Bye." his stomach growled again. He chuckled. "So, uhm, when's breakfast again?" he smiled awkwardly and had an odd look in his eyes.

He had a desire for something good. He hadn't eaten breakfast yet, and immediately regretted skipping breakfast in the morning.

The sounds of a light crowd had already begun to pour into the camp before James stirred from his slumber. He sighed irritatedly as he climbed out of his sheets and stretched his sore muscles, still vaguely aching from his last dueling match. Making his way to his wardrobe and rummaging through his options, the brunet finally pulled out a simple pair of grey sweatpants and a white t-shirt and ambled to his bathroom to quickly get ready.
After finishing a hurried shower and his morning routine, James threw his clothes on and made a beeline through the cabin's doors in the direction of Half-Blood Hill. Hoping he had caught up with the rest of the campers, the demigod scanned his eyes over the small, dispersing crowd of newcomers as soon as he reached the camp's entrance. Although feeling faintly guilty that he had arrived late, James quickly bounced back as he was able to help the unfamiliar faces wandering into camp.

Amelia decided to get an early start to the day, She had already told Chiron she would help welcome the newcomers and by "Help" she meant staying in the area while she gathered herbs for her potions and if needed she would be willing to answer any questions the new children had. After all being a counselor meant she had some experience here and would be able to offer some guidance and comfort for the others as they learned to adjust to their new lives, learning about a part of them that they never even knew existed which was always a lot to take in at first. Amelia never questioned the whole thing, she just thought they were all crazy and decided to play their little game until she saw results for herself. After her usual morning routine Amelia changed and left the quiet cabin with a small backpack for her herbs.

Amelia sighed as she reached Half-Blood Hill, a soft yawn slipping past her lips as she walked over to Chiron to prove her attendance before disappearing to do her own thing. "Morning, Chiron." She gave a soft smile and wave as she walked past him and Bellamy the son of Phobos, even tough they never really spoke outside of counselor meetings and events.

The daughter of Hecate paused briefly to look out at all the families as they approached to drop off their children, which made her a bit nostalgic as she thought back to the day she was dropped off. it was a bit nerve racking but adjusting was easy with all of the helpful people like Chiron around to teach her, and in no time she was claimed by her godly parent and placed into a very welcoming cabin.

Amelia pulled her silver locks back into a ponytail as she began searching the nearby fields for heliotrope flowers but so far nothing. at least nothing she didn't already have full stock of. "Nice, aconite..pretty rare especially around here." Amelia smiled and carefully picked the flower while admiring it's beauty before coming up with the idea of using her wisp to find what she was looking for and so she did.

She paused briefly before allowing one fiery blue orb to emerge from her chest and watching as it swayed obediently in front of her awaiting a command. "Find some heliotrope, please." she waited before watching her wisp float slowly past the group of counselors and over towards a small fairy ring near the boarder, circling the circle of fungi quickly.

"Amelia one, nature zero"

She smiled while walking over to pick a few of the flowers while leaving the rest with hope that more would grow in their place. The young woman turned to return where Chiron was positioned and sat not far from him in the grass, reaching in her bag to grab her recipe book and began quickly scribbling down notes, her grey eyes focused on the paper before looking up as a young woman with curly hair approached them, no doubt a new camper and she seemed to be looking for Chiron or at least someone who could help her out.

Tina finished half of her scrambled eggs, downed the orange juice and scraped the other half of her meal into the flames for the gods.
"Apollo." She muttered softly before trudging back up the hill with a silver flute in hand. There, she found two unfamiliar faces; a boy and a girl. She didn't say anything, just watched for a few minutes while her ADHD hands fingered random notes on the flute she was holding. Finally she approached the boy, who seemed particularly excited about something.
" 'Sup." As expected, she spoke rather softly and didn't bring herself to meet his eyes, but she hoped it was still clear she was talking to him.

breakfast "Right now actually!" Arc responded to Sean's question. "Since you don't know who your godly parent is, and don't believe us anyways, your stuck with the Hermes cabin for until your parent is discovered! Word of advice: avoid the ones with similar features. They will rob your pants right off your legs if your not careful. Let's go then!" Arc skipped off, hoping that Sean would follow. As he approached the dining pavilion, a huge open air arrangement of marble columns with typical pick nick benches, the smell of food wafted his way. "Mm bacon." He said absentmindedly.

"Uhm, okay?" Sean tried to remember what Hermes' role was in Greek Mythology.
Was it archery? He didn't remember. Sean followed Arc, and immediately filled with hunger. Saliva dripped from his mouth. He quickly wiped it off, hoping nobody saw.

welcome to the Hermes table. Population: you and a bunch of guys who will rob the clothes off your back (and everything else too) Arc led Sean to the Hermes table. The Hermes cabin was where all new campers went when no one knew they're parentage. "We got a new one here!" He announced to the table. "Try not to rob this one." "Awww!" Someone said in the back. Arc couldn't help but laugh. "I leave you in the hands of the God of thieves and travelers." He told Sean. "Good luck. Now I'm gonna go find some bacon." With that he sidled off to the food table and gathered some food. He then sacrificed a portion of it into the flames. "Athena." He whispered. With that he sat down and began to dig in heartily.

Marlin cautiously approached the entrance of the camp keeping one hand clenched to his Stygian iron dagger his hair grown past his shoulders from his past year of wondering. As he entered the camp (an unexpected new camper) he noticed things like the lava spewing climbing wall and the dryad filled lake but the only thing to hold his attention was the archery range. As he approached it he was stopped by a man in a wheelchair. after a short conversation with the man he was lead to the Apollo cabin.

"God damnit." mumbled Sean. A guy was about to pickpocket him, but he felt it coming and elbowed him in the face.
Now.. I can eat. Sean quickly devoured the food. He was ready to elbow anyone in the face again. As he was eating, he wondered who his godly father was, even though he didn't believe it.

Definitely not Hermes. My new least favorite Greek God. A God. Not Goddess. The Big Three? Nah... that Arc guy...
Someone else was about to pickpocket him again, but he quickly poked someone with a fork. It probably didn't hurt, but it'd still work.

That Arc guy said that it was rare to be a Big Three's child. I'm probably not Apollo. I don't know. I don't even know how these people know who their father/mother are. This is stupid. Why'd I go here?

He had his regrets and now wanted to go home. But he knew he was stuck for the rest of the summer.

James turned towards the soft, feminine voice that addressed him, and smiled brightly when he saw the brunette girl in front of him.
"Morning," he replied cheerily to the daughter of Apollo, nodding his head at her in greeting. He wasn't close to the girl by any means, but recognized her as a fellow camper of his same age and didn't want to offend her by admitting he didn't know her. Realizing he had gone silent in his own thinking, James attempted to commence some small talk.
"This job is bloody exhausting. Gods, you wouldn't believe these kids. It's like they're having trouble believing you for some reason," he said, throwing the girl a teasing grin.
"I'm just joking," he supplied with a laugh, "I remember my first day. Absolutely terrifying."
Although the words were said in a joking tone, James couldn't help but shudder at the embarrassing memories of first experiencing Camp Half-Blood. He distinctly recalled the confusion and worry that plagued his life everyday before he began to adjust to his new home.

Tina smiled lightly, as some of the awkward tension she felt from not knowing the guy seemed to leave her. He was easy enough to talk to, and she found her crip on the flute in her hands loosening.
"Yeah...we've come a long way since these days. When I first got here I was a mess; both physically and mentally. Nowadays..." She ran a hand through her jet black locks. "...Just physically."

Andrew
Andrew woke up nearly an hour earlier than normal, the soft din of chatter outside his cabin being partly to blame. For a moment, he contemplated pulling the covers over his head again and going back to sleep, but with a deep sigh, he remembered it was the first day of summer. Rolling out onto the floor, he tried rubbing out the remaining tiredness from his eyes and yawned around that terrible morning taste in his mouth. Today is going to be different. Andrew told himself, in spite of his drowsiness. Today, he decided he was not going to be the self-seeking, reckless punk Mr. D seemed to think he was. He was going to get up and go off to Half-Blood Hill for the Counselors' Assembly, and for once, show up on time. He'd even let Chrion bore him stiff with all of his lecturing and monologuing without even the slightest yawn of complaint. But Hades, why stop there? He might actually apply himself during training this summer, he'd pay attention during lessons. . .

And maybe -- just maybe -- his father would admit he was proud of him.

For once, Andrew paid attention to his clothes, dressing in a brown button-down shirt and khaki chinos. He ran a comb through his normally unruly hair and grabbed his coat, slipping a flask of vodka into one of the pockets (just in case). Not his Sunday best, but his wardrobe looked a little more presentable than it usually did. At least Mr. D wouldn't have to complain about his son's fashion taste, he supposed. Almost running, Andrew hurried out of his cabin (quietly, so as to not wake his few siblings) and made his way to Half-Blood Hill.

As usual, the weather was impeccable, as the camp borders so ensured. Even now, the Hill was teeming with new arrivals, a little more than he'd expected, in fact. Tenderfeet as young as thirteen traded goodbyes with their friends and families while border guards waited to shepherd them into camp. Off to his right, he spotted Chiron -- in wheelchair form -- having a conversation with Bellamy Ryan. Bell in particular was looking rather tranquil, which in itself was an oxymoron, but then again, Andrew was hardly one to talk right now.

Silently, he looked on as the new campers strolled through the gates, positively bristling with nervous excitement, yet one girl stood out among the others, cold and separate, carrying herself as though she had nothing in common with those around her. The headscarf in particular seemed to stick out in the sea of heads, and while most of the half-bloods passed through the gates without hesitation, the girl paused awkwardly at the threshold, staring forward with discomfort in her expression. Must be a mortal, Andy figured. Those without divine blood were compelled not to enter camp grounds. "Hello?" she started. "Sorry, is this the camp?"

The sign must not have tipped her off.

"Affirmarooney." Andy responded in the brightest tone he could muster. "You a half-blood? The camp's always looking for more family members."

Elliot
Although breakfast was usually served at the Dining Pavilion every morning, Elliot could seldom muster the confidence to be there for the rush, and made a habit of picking over the leftovers once everyone had left. The dryads often turned a blind eye to his incursions, as it saved them the trouble of having to throw out perfectly good food. But today, he found the mess hall thronging with campers and realized that for once, he'd arrived too early for leftovers. El had a mind to retreat back to his cabin until the flood died down, but the enticing scent floating from the kitchen reminded him just how hungry he was getting. . .

Fuck it. El thought as he shuffled into the pavilion. He was here already, so he may as well eat breakfast while it was still hot this time around. He grabbed a plate and received his food from the dryads, who were pleasantly surprised to see El out this early. Breakfast was looking a bit more elaborate than what he was used to: a slice of buttered toast, several strips of bacon, a soft-boiled egg, a cup of Greek yogurt, and a small glass of orange juice which came with one of those little umbrellas.

Walking past the bronze brazier, be quickly tossed about half of his bacon into the fire, certain that the Gods would appreciate it more than he would (frankly. he never really understood why everyone was so obsessed with bacon). To his dismay, El found the Hermes table to be quite crowded, and with strangers no less, which made it that much harder to find a spot with sufficient elbow room. From the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of Connor Nakamoto trying to gank a new kid's wallet, only to take an elbow to the mouth instead, drawing unrestrained laughter from his buddies down the table.

The new kid was just lucky Connor was a nice guy, El thought.

Eventually, Elliot resigned himself to sit at a relatively populated section if the table, which, while not as isolated as he would've liked, at least gave him some degree of personal space.

Perry was running. Not his normal early morning on the beach running, but running for his life. His heart pounded in his ears as he ran, his daggers gripped tightly in his hands. His orange Camp Half-Blood T-shirt was in tatters, blood oozing from gashes across his arms and chest. He could feel a dark presence behind him as he ran, and it seemed as if he had been running forever. Leaves and branches tore at his body as he sped through the endless woods, the feeling of an impending doom hot on his heels spurring him on. It was not long before he could feel the exhaustion setting into his limbs, the tiredness slowing him. Still he persisted, the ominous feeling behind him reminiscent of the Hades of the previous years. Gods no it can't be... We beat Gaia! And her ugly children! His thoughts raced along with him, trying in vain to think of what unholy monster could be chasing him. His luck ran out when he tripped over a log, tumbling head first into a tree. He could feel the heavy weight of sleep set in as his consciousness seeped away, a dark laugh echoing in the dark woods the last thing he heard.

Gasping, Perry sat straight up in his bed in the Aphrodite cabin. Breathing heavily he rubbed his face, letting out a loud sigh before swinging out of his bed. With Piper McLean in Los Angeles he had stepped up to act as Cabin 10s Counselor, allowing him his own bed, which he sectioned off from his other siblings. Taking a second to sit and breathe, Perry took a second to think on his dream. It had been a while since he had nightmares like that, those sinister insights into what his future could hold. The last time he had dreams like that were... during the war with Camp Jupiter and the Giant Army.

Shaking his head he stood, stretching for a moment before checking the time.
9:30??? Letting a rather impressive string of curses in both Ancient Greek and French he flew into overdrive, throwing on the camps signature orange Camp Half-Blood T-shirt with a worn pair of jeans. Nabbing his own signature item, a black leather jacket, enchanted to keep him at a regulated temperature and to be as strong as iron, he brushed through the curtain wall he had set up in a perimeter around his bed and chest. Normally not one to sleep in Perry normally had plenty of time to set his style, a very stylized "bad boy" look, but having over slept he was hard pressed for time. Grabbing a mint green and white toiletry bag from the chest at the foot of his bed he headed for his favorite spot to get ready.

Perry shoved the young girl using his favorite vanity out of his way ignoring her frustrated protest as he set up.
"Oh hush girl, I won't be long. I am late to the welcoming party for the new blood, and I am not showing up looking like a kid from the Ares Cabin." Turning back to the mirror he breathed a sigh of relief as he witnessed his hair. Normally a total disaster from the previous days exercises and how much he tosses and turns at night, it was still in the same form as the day before. Not one to take a gift like this for granted he set to work, quickly getting ready for the day. Sweeping his multitude of face washes and oral hygienic objects into the bag he tossed it into his personal chest as he made his way out of the Cabin.

Stepping into the sunlight, Perry inhaled the warm, summer air, a wide mischievous grin spreading across his face as he gazed up at the hill where Thalia's Tree stood, and where new campers came streaming in. He debated about heading up to help welcome home both the new and old campers, but he would have to deal with Chiron berating him for not showing up earlier. A faint gurgle echoed from his stomach, settling the issue for him. Chiron could lecture him later, now was the time for food, and to scope out the new blood.

Striding forward he headed to the dining pavilion, grabbing a plate of French Toast. Stopping for a second to scrape a portion into the fire he would bow his head in a silent prayer to Aphrodite before returning to his table, snickering as a new kid at the Hermes table elbowed another child of Hermes in the face.

After a quick meager breakfast Marlin headed to the archery range his golden bow strapped to his back. He draws his bow notches an arrow takes a deep breath then...Boom! The moment the arrow came into contact with the target it burst into flames. "Well shit."
