  Elissa was born into poverty in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemics of 2020-1. Her parents were homeless. The family had been on the move and taken refuge in a railroad boxcar, leaving Elissa there while they went to forage for food and supplies. On the way back they witnessed what was probably a deal between a gang discipline issue, where they gunned down one of their own. Elissa’s parents were spotted. They tried to run, but got caught and killed. No witnesses.
  
  Elissa remained hidden, a child of no more than 5 years at the time. She stayed there, on the verge of starvation, when the train stopped briefly in the Montana wilderness. Nearly dead from exposure, she was discovered by some survivalists who decided to take her in and raise her.

But today the family is still running legally. Despite the troubles Sean is a multi billionaire. Kassandra is one of the top authors in history, specializing in Mysteries. But much of the proceeds from her work go to fight human trafficking. She is well known for having helped the police solve real crimes.
  
  Mook has a younger sister, Charlotte, age 12, who is smarter than he is and can be a real brat about it. He also has an older brother, Shane, age 17, who is very much into engineering. Shane is a popular kid, but he is very nice, cute, stands well over 6’6” tall … and detests bullies. (Girls, just be warned that there will be competition if you take an interest in Shane.)

  James is an A-B student, who could probably do better. He is a natural athlete, the sort usually picked first for a team. But ever since he became a teen he has been rebelling more and more.
  
  His father forced him into sports and grew angry when James stopped trying. So he hired professional trainers and told them the boy had better win, or they could find a new job and not expect a glowing referral. James had a whole room full of trophies. Just before he was sent to DaVinci he made his first attempt at sculpture. He used the trophies to create a gigantic trophy/lego statue of a kid on a skateboard, gluing and welding as needed. Needless to say, his father was not amused.
  
  He has been in and out of schools. Often getting in trouble for things like doing stunts on a skateboard - inside and on top of the schools. He took a lesson from the movie Middle School: Worst Years of My Life and post-it noted the entire campus overnight. It was rather impressive, considering the planning it took.

  James may as well have been an orphan. He has spent more time in daycare, boarding schools or with nannies and butlers than with his parents. In fact, since he was 5, he has yet to have celebrated a birthday with his parents. Oh, that isn’t to say he never spent a birthday with them. They just forgot what day it was.

Juliette and her siblings were given anything they could have ever needed or wanted as children. She was sent to the best schools, had the best tutors. She was given the best possible advantages in life and in return, they were expected to behave in a specific way. Her parents were socialites, and their children were to be the perfect children. This sort of pressure to be a certain way and to have a certain image put a lot of strain on Juliette, but she never let the cracks show.
  
  Juliette conflated her parents flaunting their children's accomplishments with approval and love. She threw herself into her hobbies and into her school work. This is where she began to develop her competitive nature. She felt like she had to be better. Better than her peers, better than her siblings, better than she was yesterday. This lead to frequent episodes of burnout, which would only make her push herself harder afterward. This cyclical behavior defined her childhood. This unhealthy behavior was validated when her parents started to show her favoritism over her other siblings. When they told her about the new school she would attend, she finally felt like she 'won'. Like she could finally breathe.

  Juliette is 2nd daughter of Simon and Celeste St.Claire. It would surprise no one to find out that she is a middle child. She has a plethora of siblings and is one of seven. Simon jr(23), Lyle(21), Genevive(19), Juliette(16), Levi(15), Chance(11), and Claudia(11). The competitive nature of their home meant that her siblings frequently 'fought' with each other. Fighting in their house was more like a chess game than regular sibling squabbles. It was a game of elaborate one-upmanship with heavy passive-aggressive comments passed between them. They grew out of this childish behavior as they all got older. Well, mostly grew out of it...

  dann is very closed off, even if he is an extrovert. he's grown up in a very well off wealthy family, as his single mother is a CEO to one of the largest clothing brands in Germany. dann's been spoiled his entire life which gave him a sense of entitlement and a prince complex. but he still knew his way around people for a long time. dann is secretive and rather mysterious often avoiding saying much about himself. he's also rather charismatic and caring for those he loves, and a hardworking kid. on the flip side, he is very self-conscious of himself as of recent and tends to always judge himself and beat himself up over little things. dann has a lot of trust issues and has issues when it comes to speaking, often only being able to whisper or mutter around most people. its rare to hear him speak at a normal volume or even in general.

  mother, dann and his mom have a very push and pull dynamic to them. she's often busy with work, so dann's always been home alone with his bodyguards and the maids in the house. often randomly calling his mother to bug her when he was missing her, or needed money for something. francese has never ever been able to say no to dang. when his father left when he was only 8, she did what she could to be a better mother, and made sure he knew he was loved, and had the things he needed and wanted. which is what primed him into being a little self-centered and acting like a prince. dann felt comfortable coming out to his mother as gay when he was only 13, due to an online relationship he was in. his mother loved him more after that.
  
  zian, from when dann was 12 till he was almost 15, he was dating zian, a boy from the Philippines he had met over the web. both of them were wealthy and spoiled, and bonded over the idea of being assholes to each other, that was danns only relationship, and it ended because it came out on both of their ends that both zian and dann were gay, and both had gotten into trouble for it in their home countries and school. zian ended it then, which only added to dann's social issues.

  dann is the only child of the lyrico family. the family was him, his mother, and his father until he was 8. which at that point his father, who was already never home because his job at their company, and the travelling, had walked out on dann and his mother. his mother saw it coming, as her husband was never leaving an impact on danns life, and she knew her time with him was limited. so she involved him less in the company and in danns life, until he confronted her, and asked her if she knew.
  dann was only 8 when he saw his father for the last time, and can't remember anything about him.
  
  according to his mother, he's always been special kid, and extremely smart and good with people. which was true, dann was good with talking to people, and got good grades, and could play sports like no one else. but it all came crashing down, when he was almost 15. someone had seen an interaction between dann and zian online, and understood the meaning behind it, and called both of the boys out on it. which didn't end well for either of them. dann became the target for all sorts of bullying in his old high school, with being just a freshman made it even easier to get after him. dann was tracked down after soccer practices in between classes, during free periods, and even at meals. he was beaten up, harassed, and even made bleed. and no one dared to stop the other students from touching him, from hurting him. dann let it happened, it went on for 6 months, before anyone at home was able to notice. he spent so much time covering up the wounds, saying he fell, making up lies to not worry anyone. but when your mother is powerful, she was able to get video footage, and see all the things that had happened to her son. she sued the school for not protecting a minor from harm, and for the mental damage it did to her son, and the damage he did to himself.
  
  at that point, it freshmen year was nearly over, and Francese removed dann from that school, and enrolled him in therapy and had him homeschooled until he was cleared to have recovered. it took nearly another 9 months, till the doctors said dann had gotten over the issue, but it would still leave lasting effects on him. which were obvious, dann had become a lot quieter, not talking, or talking softly, he didn't share anything with anyone anymore and avoided people as if he was scared of them.
  
  when dann was cleared, his mother enrolled him in DaVinci Academy. She said she would pay the enrollment fee's, but they offered dann a full ride scholarship when they had gotten his transcripts. dann was a straight a student, and had been his entire life. what school wouldn't offer a student like that a free ride? he had a heavy sports background, with numerous awards for his soccer skills. he isn't fond of attending a new school or even having to put up with people again, but he's doing this for his mom, so she'll stop worrying.

  mother, kd has no relationship to her mother. it was her own choice after her mother was trying to control every aspect of her life, kd told her outright to stop meddling. kd takes 0 shit from her mother, and her father and has burnt nearly the entire bridge. her parents love her a lot, but they've never shown it well.
  father, kd hardly speaks of her dad or even too him. she's seen him be a scum bag and cheat on her mother, and she doesn't want to be involved in that. more so, her father favours her younger brother, as he always wanted a son, and named kd after himself because they didn't want to know the gender until her birth. so she got stuck with a boys name, which doesn't bother her, it brothers that it's her fathers.
  brother, kd doesn't speak to her brother. since they were 12, she stopped talking to him. not after what he did to her. orion was the reason everyone looked at her funny, the words and lies he spread about her, the things she apparently did with him, despite them being siblings.

  kd is the eldest child in her family, 2 years older than her brother orion. when she was born, her parents didn't want to know what gender she was, because her father was sure she would be a boy. she wasn't, but her father didn't know that till after he named her after himself. klarion marcus dalton the 2nd. a cursed name for her, and something that brought a lot of bullying to her growing up. people made fun of her for everything, her looks, her clothes, her name. it made her rebrand when she was only 10. she used the name klare m. dalton, tried explaining it to teachers and classmates that her old name wasn't hers, but it didn't work. it wasn't a legal name change, and so she continued as klarion marcus dalton.
  
  she hated it.
  
  it got worse when she was 11, her brother found out what she was trying to do. and started saying things about her at home and at school. where her mother tried to control her more, and her father became violent, and resented her, for trying to wipe away his name, even if he hated her having it. it was his name on her, and she wanted it gone. but if he had to suffer knowing she was the firstborn, she had to suffer with his name. the following years got worse, with bruises and harsh words.
  
  kd's only escape slowly became clothing, dressing up, and pretending to be others, trying to be pretty. finding outfits that she loved, and she began to create, learned to sew, to measure clothes, to be a seamstress and clothing designer. she did it daily, finding whatever cloth she could to make new things, saving any money she found or was given to buy new material and items to add to the outfits. when she was 13, she started posting photos of her outfits and designs online, and they got popular. she was shocked, people were offering her money to buy outfits and even trying to commission her. her designs were starter level, with a bit of flair, but there were people willing to pay for things. so she took advantage of it. she made an Instagram, (@kindlydevious.shop) where she posted information about her work. it was a slow rise to fame, but it happened. she was making some money, for herself, she didn't consider it a job, it was her hobby, and a way to make money at such a young age.
  
  her parents found out when she asked to open a bank account at 14, her father was livid, and only further distanced the two of them. Her mother had stepped in, and offered to help her, with the banking situation, but since she was underage, her mother had to be on her account. and that was what started the fight behind the control, and caused kd to burn most of the bridge with her mother.
  
  she moved about her life quietly and angerly for the following years. she wasn't offered a scholarship to the academy, but she had the grades to attend, and had saved a lot of money, and somehow, managed to convince her mom to help her out with paying. it was hard, but they were able to swing it.

There's a scar that looks like someone scratched down the side of her neck, but it's halfway hidden by her hair. She's also missing the top half of her left ear. Shackle impressions remain on her wrists and ankles, and small scars from brushing against thorns and twigs and bumping into things dot her entire body. There's a half-faded bite mark on the left side of her ribcage, and a dog-caused bite scar on her right shoulder. However, her patience involving others is slim, and it's a common occurrence when she taps out and abandons her group if she feels they aren't worth her time. To those who don't know her, she's a person of few words.   "Most people would call me lucky. Some people would call me cursed. It doesn't matter what they call me though, the fact is I was one of those... privileged few to be born into a wealthy family that somehow kept their finances afloat after the pandemic. I'm the fourth of nine kids. And the last one my parents want to keep around. But that comes later. I was practically raised by my grandfather-- a miracle, some called him, for surviving in his old age despite contracting the virus-- since mother and father were too busy to care for me. Three of my sisters lived with me, and the others... well, mom and dad made time for them. We four with gramps lived pretty happily for a while, no matter the reasons as to why our parents didn't want us at the mansion. Gramps is probably the only one who's never wronged me if I think about it, and my time with him was the happiest times of my life. When I was seven, I was brought back to the mansion, because who knew I was a whiz with technology until my gran-gran saw me coding for fun? Rotten old woman. More a bloody, squirming, parasitic leech than a human that old woman was. I was quickly sent to an instructor to begin honing that skill, but... what that man did to me... no child should have to endure that. When my parents noticed that my progress dropped significantly, the man was fired and sent away. But they were determined to squeeze some sort of success out of me and tried all sorts of things; sports, math (the horror), science (fun but I grew bored out of my mind and ditched every class), and finally writing. Turns out it's all I'm good for now, but like hell was I gonna let them use me. So, I ran away. Packed my bags at the ripe old age of ten and hit the road. Things were fun for a few years, if that's a close enough term for it. The beginning was tough, and I learned how many ribs I have (turns out I have an extra pair, yay to diversity) and what it's like to eat and sleep and fight for scraps like a dog, but hell if I was ever going to turn back. But thankfully I wandered far enough to hit the countryside. Country folk are always looking for a pair of strong hands. I learned to hunt boar and tree coons and snare any sort of creature, and earned myself the nickname of Dogkeep for a while after I trained up quite a few spitfires. But then the men came. I knew they were my parents' men; they always wore that dumb crest somewhere on their uniforms, so I high-tailed it out of no-man's land. I hated leaving behind my pack, but it was what's best. I went for the city next to try something new; figured if I couldn't hide in the brush then I'd hide in a crowd. Turns out underground fighting is a lucrative career to entertain city folk, and I found myself a slave in the arena. I killed my master the moment his pants were down and he thought his little champion had lost her teeth. He gave me this collar I wear, and I keep it only to remind myself what it was like. Wearing shackles and a collar, fighting to keep alive and enduring the barking of all those men who thought me little more than breathing meat. Sometimes I miss it a little, being that arena; it's much easier to beat a headstrong someone into submission than talk to them. But word got out and around that a Montenegro look-alike was runnin' round like a stray dog, and I was caught. Spent a year in rehab before I got sent here. I'm figuring it's my parents' last-pitch effort at making me useful for something, or at least saving face."

  Tasha is quite the introvert, content to keep to herself. Though introversion is usually a result of somebody being shy, in Tasha's peculiar case, her aversion to people is caused by hardcore misanthropy, as she's a very resentful person due to being wronged many a time by key figures in her life. However, Tasha's misanthropy can also be seen as a result of her inadequate confidence, as she often views herself below everyone else; this results in the girl's clear aversion to confrontation, with her unassertive nature being a key factor to her 'weak' image, which sometimes makes her jealous of those seen as 'strong', further adding to the girl's bitterness. Though holding quite a misanthropy towards humankind, Tasha is a surprisingly empathetic and kindhearted girl, always feeling some sort of twinge on her heartstrings when she sees someone in a melancholy mood. She tries her best to be respectful to others, no matter how much they irk her; though she can be cold, obviously, she also holds a lightheartedness that can't be denied. She tries to be a good person: honest, courteous, and sensible, but even despite that, sometimes the girl's oddly thrill-seeking nature and aloof demeanor can result as her being seen as unpredictable, even though she is really quite a calm individual. Tasha, despite her love of fantasy, has always been unideal: she faces everything with the cold, hard facts, and will always tell the truth of a situation, no matter how hurtful it is to those around her.   Natasha Shaw Young was born on January 5th, 2020, to Margaret Lamb Caldwell and Damon Gardener Young, two key public figures in the face of the COVID-19 pandemics of 2020-1. Thrust into the public eye since day one, everyone had a preconceived notion of Natasha: the spoiled daughter of two incompetent public funding chiefs, who would never get the cold, harsh slap in the face that was reality. Of course, Natasha was spoiled, unnaturally so. After all, her parents were considered ungodly rich in a time of dire need. But, eventually, the girl realized her parents weren't showing her any real nurture: they threw money at her and bought her anything she wanted, but they were still never around, thrusting the girl onto nanny after nanny while they went on 'business trips'. Natasha, much like anyone in her situation would, eventually began to lash out to gain just a smidge of her parents' undiluted attention. Despite putting into the most prestigious of boarding schools since adolescence— that her parents surely guaranteed would result in more than adequate behavior from their daughter— Natasha just kept getting suspended. The final straw before Natasha's parents sent her to DaVinci was when the girl had reached her breaking point— fight after fight, suspension after suspension, her parents still didn't pay attention. So, one fateful day on her sophomore year of high school she got into a physical confrontation that left a girl left in the hospital. Finally, her parents realized they couldn't stop their daughter from acting out. So, her family, in an arguably inadequate decision, sent the girl away to DaVinci with their funds, where they wouldn't have to worry about her acting out anymore: she was finally someone else's problem.

  Margaret Lamb Caldwell — Tasha's mother. Natasha seemed to be closer to her mother, more often flitting for her approval than the approval of her father. However, Margaret oftentimes ignored her daughter, throwing money at all of her girl's problems.
  
  Damon Gardener Young — Tasha's father. She primarily ignored the man, even though he seemed to want to be closer to his daughter. Eventually, when Damon realized his daughter was a mommy's girl, he gave up on trying to form a connection with the girl. So, their disconnect may partially be the fault of Tasha herself.
  
  Overall, Tasha is detached from her parents. As far as she's concerned, they basically disowned her. At DaVinci, Tasha simply says her parents are 'public figures'. Nobody needs to know she's the daughter of two fools furthering the world's descent into chaos with their idiocy.

  Natasha isn't proficient in many fields, but she has always been stunningly graceful. At her request, her parents enrolled the girl in rigorous ballet classes, aerial, figure skating, and many other sports that required an apt control over one's limbs. Though Natasha may not be skilled in many regards, if somebody needs a stealthy person, she's your gal.
