Oh shit, so maybe Kael becomes some kind of hired help? That be hilarious and interesting. The meeting would have to be in Kildra a little bit later on after the events of Roadalia (because there's no way Kael is getting in Roadalia, and why would he want to? there is nothing enticing there right now. You don't find people going to Roadalia) Roadalia is going to be having some crazy events that may force some of our Holy Knights outside of the country looking for help, maybe that's when they stumble upon Kael and vice versa. Also, our characters would at least know of each other, having fought in the same war. Going to be interesting when they both meet.


She's from the Lawless Lands? So she has some, shall we say, street smarts? Maybe she cons Vanse. Tells him she has money she doesn't have/knows people she doesn't that could hide him out. Maybe she internally wrestles with it throughout their journey. She knows how dangerous the Lawless Lands are and she imagines there will just as dangerous places in the other countries she must travel. She probably doesn't want to brave that alone in foreign countries she's never been to. They could definitely be in the same caravan, that's a better idea. Dirk said he was thinking about having Vanse disguised in merchant robes so she could mention that.


@Jabroni So Dania is a huntress from Libertia correct? Have you given any thought to what you want her to be doing in the beginning? @Lakita character is definitely going to want to go to Libertia to find a cure for her father.

Dania will be looking for the remnants of the Black Talons, which would probably point her toward either Roadalia or Indoria, but yea she can start in Libertia.

Sorry I didn't respond to you. You're right, Ziek and Kael probably know, or know of each other. Ziek is probably one of the few who truly knows who Kael is and what he did. He tried to keep that shit under wraps, obviously.

Renaria will pretty much be in Ashah the Capital, or at best just outside town doing something queen related.


I'm guessing @Robyn Banks @LeSoraAmari @too much idea your characters will be near, so shout me ideas how you want to see Renaria and The Queen (I'll be playing both, but The Queen won't hold counsel right now so most likely you'll need to approach Renaria if you have any issues regarding the Queendom.)


I was thinking at least some of you should approach Ren with concerns about the Queens increase in heretic punishment and try and sway her to calm down the Queen (though Ren will probably just shake her head as in to say she has little sway in the Queens current mental state.)


Perhaps meeting in a public location would be wise (tavern/theatre) for discussions. Remembering Renaria is almost always followed obviously or subtly by spys owned by the Queen.

When you see what happened to him and the Black Talons (haven't gotten there yet in my CS. I'm just right there too. Probably a couple of paragraphs left.) you'll see that he can understand Kael's actions. He also has sworn off killing, but the one person who's head he'd cut off if he saw them is Queen Suzane. Mix those with a love of booze and I think we have fast friends in the making.

I'm planning to write that Thera is out in a nearby town/village, carrying the Queen's 'punishment', then goes back to the Capital to report it to whoever in charge (The leaders of Holy Knights, i assume). If you are meeting in a tavern, Thera could bump into you and join in because of the.... interesting topic.

She does not speak common but will sometimes say a word or two in the T'Odis home language. Loud noises will terrify her. Weapons scare her.


Background:


Lilly remembered a snow covered home full of laughter and a warm fire. A house full of siblings, parents, aunts, uncles having a feast. She remembered being asked to go to the closest household for supplies, but being side stepped and surrounded by a group of Kildran men. Screaming, she was thrown into sack and the group roaring on horseback to the T'Odis Gate before an alarm could be be raised.


That was almost 4 years ago. Since then she had one of the worst treatments a Snowhaired slave could endure. As most Kildran slaves were dark skined and dark haired, she fetched thousands and was constantly barted and sold to the highest Kildran Noble. 'The little snow angle' she was often nicknamed. Her treatment turning the stomachs of almost all Slavery-haters.


She almost always has a collar strapped around her neck, and heavy black bracelets around her wrists and right thigh, jewelled in sapphires as if one might dress up a pet. Her face always half sad, distant and lonely. Like the light seemingly just disappeared from her eyes. Years of her collar now etching a permanent scar across her neck even if the collar is removed.

I'm up in the air about @noremac & @Crucified Fear . Where do you guys see yourselves starting? Noremac, are you currently at sea? Crucified, is Kael still in Kildra? There's also still @Lord Zanicus & @JustJazzy who are I'm sure hard at work on their CS's who we can wait to see where they would like to start (& who they are)

I think I'll start at a port in Roadalia, or Libertia. Probably start in a tavern where others are meeting. Then I'll make my way back to Yensha, trading in Indoria along the way. I'll try to meet up with as many people along the way.


Maybe I can start with a smuggling trip to Roadalia. After that my crew could spread some psycho Queen of Hearts rumors.
